I’m Jemma, I’m 28 and I’m looking for my own room in Melbourne. Im quite open to areas but would prefer to live close to the centre so it will be easy enough to use public transport to go to work. I’m a professional, but outside of work I like to run and go to the gym I like to keep active and explore. I read but also enjoy catching up on Netflix! I like going out for food and drinks but also enjoy an evening in. Preferably furnished and a sublet or something for 6 months with the possibility to extending. Please please someone house me 😇 Thank you! xxx
Hi I'm Beth and I am soon to be returning to Melbourne after living in Canberra for a year. Am very much looking forward to being back in the eastern suburbs of the best city in Australia! I work full time on a rotating roster so I work every second weekend, but get a weekday off each week. I am just as comfortable on the couch in front of the tv with my speciality French toast as I am going for a drive and a hike, exploring new cool cafes or out for a drink and maybe some pub trivia. In my current place I live alone, so have a little bit of furniture to bring with me. This also means I'm responsible and very used to cleaning up after myself. Would love to find a group of people to build a home with and like most people I enjoy a chat after work as well as appreciating alone time. Ideal situation for me would be a three bedroom place and I'd be willing to be paying a little extra rent than other housemates if I could have my own bathroom. I can be flexible though so please shoot a message with any questions :)
Hey there! I am a full time student and working part time on the weekends at the moment. I am a very clean and organised room mate, always clean up after myself, etc. For fun, I love to keep fit and stay healthy and I'm super into the outdoors - love discovering new, cool places and just living a fun lifestyle. I'm quite a reserved person, keep to myself but am super friendly and always up for a chat. :)
I am a very open and honest person with a positive and friendly attitude. I like to chill out at home but also love to socialise with my friends too. I love food, coffee & wine so on the weekends I tend to be out for brunch or dinner, I love to try new cafes and restaurants. I work full time and during the week I prefer to stay in, I do try and get to the gym when I can. I don't take myself too seriously and love to have a good laugh, even at my own expense! I am a very neat and tidy person and would like to live in a space where others feel the same. I don't want to live in a party house but don't mind an occasional shindig.
Hey!!!! I'm just looking for a room in a chill house where I can relax and have some good convivence and nice time after a hard day at work! I love good conversations, sharing dinners or meals in general, a nice film, listening to good music and most of everything!!! I love games!!!! Im always willing to play some cards monopoly or any kind of table game!!!! I am pescatarian, and love doing yoga and reconnect with nature! I'm always trying to help people around me and try to get a smile from those who are around me! I don't mind partying, but it is not what I'm looking for in my home... I mean... I'm not a party tiger and I prefer a nice dinner or movies night over a party... I think I've already partied a lot and don't really feel in the mood!!!! But never think I am one of those boring people!!! Hahahhaha people use to tell me that I'm really funny!!! 🤣 And that is me really... If you think I would fit in your family home just let me know and I will be more than happy to get to meet you guys!!!!! Ah!!! And there is one thing that I am kind of peculiar with, and that is smells hahaha I like to keep things smelling good!!!! So I am pretty clean and neat!!! Well here I am! All yours and ready to share a good convivence for quite a long period!!!! Minimum 6 months!!!! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little bit!!!!
Hi! Im Esther I’m from New Zealand and have been in melbourne 3 years I've lived with friends during my time here. I’m environmentally conscious, love socialising, cooking and im a huge fine wine fan. My situation...I’m currently working in hospo so I work most weekends and I study at the Melbourne Fashion Institute 2 days a week therefore I’m looking for a larger room to rent so I can have some creative space with fun and friendly people who love food and enjoying the wonders of Melbourne.
I am currently working in aviation in customer service at Perth Airport, and moving over to Melbourne to be a long haul International flight attendant. (my training commences in late July ✈️👍🏼) A bit about me... I have been in aviation for 3 years. I love to socialise, love making new friends, and love to explore!). Ideally looking for someone who understands shift work/(is in the airlines too if possible), likes to go out for a drink sometimes, likes to keep fit like go for walks, and more importantly is clean/clean-ish! And I guess if you're nice that's a bonus too!
I am a french girl looking for a flat share to live with nice flatmates. I enjoy spending with friends, go out, and i also like animals and cooking. I am here for one year to study and discover Melbourne's vibes :)
I am a young professional from Dallas, Texas and will be working with a medical device company based in Melbourne for 6 months starting end of Sept/early Oct then potentially staying for school with a longer visa! I need somewhere cool to live for 6 months while I am working. I am very social, and I love getting out and exploring. I will probably be traveling most of the weekdays, but I will be around on weekends and ready to have fun!
I’m Dave I’m 27. I work full time in sales and part time in the Army Reserve. I spend most of my time working, at the gym, playing basketball or looking after my neice and nephew. If I’m home I’m generally watching tv or making something in the kitchen. I’m nice and neat and tidy and like others to be tidy too. I’m quiet but not during the NBA playoffs. ;)
Im relocating from Adelaide to work for a city based company as a cost consultant. Down to earth, tidy and respectful. Enjoy trying out new places to eat, grab a good coffee, cruising around and relaxing at home. Love/hate feels with gym. Open minded to meeting new people. Travel when time and finances permit.
I am 22 years old and moving to Melbourne from Perth to study law at Monash. I am a fairly quiet person and will be studying a lot, though I am very friendly and don't mind a chat. I'm very neat, respectful and easygoing. Ideally looking for somewhere with easy public transport into the CBD where I'll be studying.
Easy going, chilled person to live with. Not after a party house but don’t mind socialising and a bit of fun on weekends. I work part time but also do a couple weekends in events promo. Studying online at the moment. Don’t mind what age groups are in the house! Looking to move ASAP . UPDATE - I do not want a shared room with anyone. So please don’t contact me about a shared room. Thank you in advance x
Hi there, Im Tia 31 years old from Thailand who working full time at a cafe from Monday to Friday. Im an easy going person, friendly and always smile. After finished I just wanna take a rest and cook a few times a week. On weekends I do my laundry, cleaning and go to see my friend in Ringwood. On my free time I like to read, watch a movie and listen to music. Thats all about me.
I am a full time university student doing a masters of biotechnology in both the city and Bundoora so looking to squeeze in to that 86 tram line neighborhood (close to train and tram?) but not so far out I have to turf my friends and start anew. I am a very easy going person. Not the sort to get in a huff about menial things, respect others right privacy but I also have a mean streak for board games and socializing when the time calls for it. You'd be hard pressed to find someone as hard to rile up as me! Id love to live with some well traveled internationals but outgoing people are cool. Like all the cliches, movies, playing sport and having a nibble on a parma every now and then. I am ready to move in any time basically although an inspection would be sweet. At the end of the day I am probably going to be studying pretty hard, not much of a party animal but always keen to pretend like i am reluctant and come along anyway. Looking at being in-between Bundoora and the RMIT city campus. Closer to the city is preferable as long as there is easily accessible transport to Bundoora.
I am searching for a furnished room in inner Melbourne from 6 August until 30 September for a short-term visit. Good PTV connections are a bonus. Compulsory bio: I work in web development and translation and am coming to Melbourne for a few weeks. I play ice hockey and music. Most of my spare time is spent playing music out and about (not at home). I am into meal prepping a bit, and I bake quite decent peanut butter chocolate cookies and banana bread. I'm always trying to improve my cooking skills and try out new things. Aside from music and sport, I enjoy hangs with mates, and am looking forward to exploring Melbourne. I'm pretty impressed by the tropical birds around Australia (rosellas, lorikeets, cockatoos... I've spent the last decade split between Berlin, Finland, and California, where the birds are just not as colourful). I'm easy-going, tidy, and quiet. Banter and chills are good. I am usually up for a good chat or meal with housemates, but enjoy doing my own thing, too. I'm interested in tech, medicine, foreign languages, current events, and spend a fair bit of my down time in front of a computer. I do eat meat although I am trying a stint of vegetarianism currently out of interest; I do not drink or smoke. The only 'ice' in my life is ice hockey. However, I am of course open to you eating, smoking, and doing your thang. (Please don't be doing ice, though). I don't have pets or kids. I always pay rent on time, and can sort out a bond and references no problem. As I said, quick visit to Melbourne, looking for a nice place to stay. I don't wreck things :) If you've got a furnished room available soon and think we'd get on, shoot me a message, I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!
I'm laid-back and sociable but respectful of privacy and boundaries. I do however appreciate the occasional wine after a long day at work, or some casual hangs on the weekend. I work the typical full-time Mon-Fri sitch, near St. Kilda Road. So ideally I’m looking to live somewhere close-by. Some of my interests include photography, live music and playing sport socially.
