Hi guys, my name's Greg, and I'm an American journalist. I visited Melbourne in April and fell in love, so I'm moving from Brooklyn to Melbourne this September to work for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. I've had roommates since college, so I'm clean, but also pretty relaxed about things. I like to go out and socialize on the weekends with friends, and sometimes during the week if I'm up for it. Every now and then I'll travel for work or to see a bit more of the country, and I'll be in Melbourne for at least a year.
I am Kiwi, born and raised, trying to find a private room. I am laid back, I am super clean and always clean up my own mess. I am respectful, private, at the same time I like to socialise. I am responsible, never late with bill payments, I am very organised and I am an animal lover.
Looking for awesome housie to share with St Kilda area Have relocated back after 10 years in Sunshine Coast, Queensland. I'm a qualified Naturopath working part time on creating my business. I also work part time in the city as marketing assistant to keep me out of trouble ;). I'm into sustainable living, yoga and meditation. I love cooking and nurturing through food I'm artistic, caring, thoughtful, social, enthusiastic and easy going. I have a great sense of humour. Even though my full on party days are behind me I like a little boogie now and then and still go out to gigs and pubs from time to time. Love a good laugh, a chat and a shared meal from time to time. Looking forward to sharing a home-Short or long term if it works out well. I have a 7 year old son. He sleeps at his dads most nights for stability and for his own room. We have found this is the happiest arrangement for all. The split was amicable. We get along fine. My son stays with me 1-2 nights a week and after school on the days I'm not working the full day. He is fine in my room and is ridiculously quiet and well behaved. So I'm looking st kilda so walking distance to his school for simplicity If that all sounds awesome then I would love to hear from you! 😊
Hey, I’m Samantha! I'm a 29 year old primary school teacher, fresh off the boat from London! I’m due to start a full time teaching job in early September and looking for a place to call home. I lived in a flat share for 5 years in London and absolutely loved it - my flatmates (including 2 Aussies :-) ) became my family and I’m hoping to find the same thing here in Melbourne. In my spare time, I love going for brunch with friends, keeping active/gym, travelling, wine and cheese nights, podcasts and discovering new and fun things to do in the city. I’m clean, tidy, sociable, and friendly and always up for a chat or a movie night in after a long day at work. I’m looking for a place I can call home and not just live in a room in a house. I am a trustworthy and reliable flatmate who is considerate of others and would love to live with like-minded, easy-going people! If you think I’m a good fit for your home, get in touch!
We are Andrew & Celine. Andrew is from Melbourne, working in employee mental and physical health (wellbeing) full time. A lover of travel, all food made with love and coffee geek. Céline is from Berlin, on a Working Holiday Visa. She loves Yoga and spends most of her time out and about + studying for her Yoga Teacher Training. We're both really easy going people, very open-minded and always happy to meet new people.
I’m moving over from Ireland to gain more experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Melbourne in September. I’m a clean guy, with a love of cooking which I’m sure housemates will benefit from. I’ve both landlord/employment references if needed!
Hey! I just moved from Brisbane. I’m 23 (24 in Nov) and have lived out of home for 4 years, so I’m respectful and tidy and know how to get along. 🙂 I work in advertising, and I love dogs, masterchef, live music, and art.
I’m 25 years old and work full time in South Melbourne for a media company. There is no urgency for me to move from my current place, so I’m very flexible. Ideally, I’d like to be within walking distance/ short tram ride to work. This would be; St Kilda West, Middle Park, South Melbourne, Windsor or Prahran. Looking to find someone to either team up with or move into an established place. I would lik a modern apartment with own bathroom and a car space. I’m easy to get along with and a warm and friendly person. I’m very clean and tidy and would like to find someone who is the same. I’d like to be friends with the person I live with and be able to have a chat after work and glass of wine from time to time! Monday to Friday out of work hours I enjoy relaxing at home and exercising when I can. On the weekend I enjoy going out with friends, shopping and having a few drinks. That said, I am definitely not looking for a party house. My home is my sanctuary. I am happy to purchase any furniture or appliances required, but currently don’t have anything to offer. I would prefer to share with just one other person only. I’m a non smoker and don’t have any pets.
Half German half Singaporean taking a gap year to work and travel. Easy going, open to new experiences and looking forward to making new friends. A fan of good music, nature and pinterest :) Not a fan of biographies. Capable of cleaning up after myself and not a picky eater. I enjoy cooking, when I have the time for it and am always down for a spontaneous roadtrip.
I’m a laid back chick from the US and absolutely in love with Melbourne! I will be moving back after finishing my 88 days. I have until December on my first year visa and expect to stay for my second year fully based in Melbourne, so looking for long term acccomodation. I’m very easy going and social. I love meeting people and would ideally live with a flatmate or flatmates who will become friends! That said, I also enjoy my alone time and can often be found in a quiet place with a book. I’m looking for a place that will feel like home, rather than a messy sharehouse with people moving in and out all the time. Message me if you have space and want an awesome new roomie!
Hey future flatmate, my name is Ayush and I am from India. I've lived in Sydney for two years, just completed my graduation two months and now moving to Melbourne for a full-time job. I'm a happy go lucky person, who loves to play basketball, do yoga and cook delicious food. Get in touch if you would like to set up a call or meeting!
I’m on my WHV from the U.K., I’ve been in Australia since January working in the Whitsundays on one of the boats there. I love travelling, sports, dogs and am such a foodie! I’m very socialable and spend my spare time exploring the surrounding area and hanging out with friends. I love going out to both pubs/bars and clubs but am not one to do it every night - love a relaxed movie night too! I’m clean, don’t smoke, don’t do drugs and I hope am a pretty relaxed person to live with! 😊
I'm neat and tidy, not a clean freak, pretty flexible when it comes to living with other people. I try to surround myself with positive people, and ride my bicycle a few times a week. I work full time in the CBD at an advertising agency, and do my best to cook dinner at home during the week. On weekends I'm usually sailing on Saturdays, and Sundays I spend getting ready for the week ahead. I've been in Melbourne for six months, and love the area. I hope to find my way here, and looking for a house to call home. Dan
Hey guys! I am looking for a fun sociable place to call home (not a full on party house!). I work Monday to Friday in St Kilda and do yoga most days during the week and enjoy a drink or a boogy on the weekends. I am a massive foodie, animal lover and have done quite a bit of travel :) I am very easy going and not much gets to me although I do like home to be clean!! Hoping for a move date in the last week of September as I am overseas until then! Please get in contact if you feel I would be a good fit for your home :)
I’m a fun time! I’m easy going, clean & tidy, i get along with pretty much anyone - love sports & keeping fit, love to socialize, love music & going to gigs. Just LOVE LIFE really! Hope you like to eat, because I like to cook! Life has been FULL of changes recently: recently single, going through a complete career change, which has me working full time in the CBD. Currently living in the SE Suburbs but I’ve always wanted to live closer to the city - close to the action but away from it enough to easily access and enjoy the beach - love some downtime. My current lease is up on Aug 17th so I’m wanting to move pretty quickly!
Relaxed, reliable professional from Sydney who is acclimatising to Melbourne weather and tram network while exploring the art and culture precinct. Looking for somewhere fairly long term where I can chill out after work, enjoy my own space and also some social company. I work in the social, community and legal sectors where being a positive people person is almost a compulsory prerequisite. I am relaxed, laid back and someone who is always there to pitch in and help out. I enjoy socialising with other household members while also respecting everyone's need for peace and quiet. Looking for somewhere not too far from to St Kilda.
Hi there, I am Bibo 27 years. A recent UTS graduate and decided to move to Melbourne cus fuck Sydney! And also, I got offered a full-time job in Melbourne :) I will be working with Heinz all week from 9-5 roughly and will probably get a lot of free products from their wide range of brands to bring home! I enjoy running everyday for a bit so I'll be up for a workout every evening and I also have a small business on the side, so I'm pretty busy most of the week. I enjoy relaxing on weekends, not really the party guy anymore, had a fair bit of that and I'm kind of done with that scene! But I do enjoy going out for drinks on the weekend and having a nice dinner somewhere. I love cooking and will always be willing to share my food. I am vegan though, not a strict full on vegan, but I try to be for 6 days a week. I also enjoy deep conversations and connecting with my flatmates, and building a family bond! I enjoy kite surfing, going to the beach, and going on adventures. If you believe we'll be a great match, don't hesitate to hit me up :) Cheers Bibo
Easy. Respectful. Mature. Super busy at work 7am to 6pm Mon to Fri. Otherwise relaxing or exercising. Clean and tidy always. Handyman. Loves music, sunshine, cooking and a quality tv binge
I’m an open minded, and accepting person who is also an extreme gamer, and movie goer. I’m hoping to create a positive relationship with all my roommates. I’ll also be studying at university by next year, to do a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts (psychology/philosophy) & Bachelor of Science (Developmental Biology/Molecular Biology) at Monash in 2017. I have recently come back from Germany where I did an internship at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. I currently work at a lab doing R&D. On the side, I'm working on my visual arts portfolio in the pursuit to exhibit my work. I like visiting art galleries, museums, biking, hiking, reading, travelling (can tell you all about my adventures through Europe), film festivals, classical music concerts, electronic music concerts. Don't mind a drink once in a while. Perks: I'm flexible with move in date. I'm also flexible with stay duration (minimum 5 months). I'm very clean, and like to have a routine (e.g. vacuum & laundry every Sunday). I cook delicious Mediterranean food and make awesome salad combos (I'm vegetarian). I don't watch TV and like to keep myself busy so I'm quiet. I'm a book nerd, and so I come with a small library (mostly philosophy & literature classics). I don't own any pets. I'm respectful and try to be non-judgemental, but I also expect cleanliness and safety at home. I like putting an effort in making a place feel like home (candles/incense, pot plants, etc) - but if you prefer I keep this to myself, happy to do so. Also, I don't need a car space! About you: Clean & tidy. Able to give me my space and allow me to feel at home. I love animals so I don't mind pets, but routine hygiene care is a minimum. Also a working professional or student. Sorry don't want to live with backpackers, but don't mind living with international students/expats.
We’re Chantelle, from NZ - Executive Assistant and David, from England - IT Professional. We've been together for over 4 awesome years and just arrived in Melbourne after 5 months backpacking in Asia (we're well travelled folk). We've lived together in shares for the majority of that time - we're clean and super fun to have around the house. We like to cook, love a good chat, a few drinks, some TV and a wide range of music. David loves photography, plants, music and DJ's as a hobby. Chantelle likes art and is looking to learn Spanish for a future trip to South America. We're both looking to get back into a little fitness routine (Yoga, Football/Soccer (David), Netball (Chantelle) and ideally make some friends here in Melbourne and be social. We're looking for liberal flatmates that are social, tidy and as easy going as we are yet respects each others privacy when needed. BBQ's in the summer, nights out, dinner parties, movie nights - we're easy! We love to cook and are constantly open to trying new things and we love coffee. David bakes (occasionally) - We're down for contributing to communal foodstuffs etc. We don't have any furniture (at the moment) but are not obtuse to making a few purchases...David does come with a pair of decent speakers though.
