Hey! My names Katie, I'm 24, work in healthcare and am going to be studying Nursing part time in 2018. I'm looking to relocate to somewhere on the Northern beaches in late November/Early December as my current housemates are moving up the coast. I'd like to live with social housemates but I like my own space as well and I'm a pretty quiet and respectful person. I have a cat named Charlie (the cuddly kind of cat not the cranky kind) - I'd hate to give him up so I'd love to find some people that would be happy to have him in their home. He's used to dogs and cats, he's toilet trained and a bit of a ninja so you hardly ever know hes there.
I am a 33 years old Chartered Accountant working for a financial services multinational as a Finance Manager. Currently living in Melbourne, but due to work will be moving to Sydney soon. Looking for a place to call home, and make new friends. I have travelled extensively over the years visiting 28 countries to date. Photography and adventure sports are something I am dearly passionate about. Mountaineering, skiing, kayaking, hiking etc. are some of the things that I am always interested in. I was a home owner for 10 years so I know the essence of a clean and tidy home. I am respectful towards others, and happy to share household chores with people I am sharing. I am a very organised person both in personal and professional life and so would prefer a house that is clean and tidy. I can't call myself a cleanliness freak, but I do love to live in a clean environment. I am not a party animal. Most of the time I'm busy at work; free time being spent on editing photos, reading books or building Looking for a place close to city (my office is in Circular Quay) and for long term - preferably until December 2018.
Hello. Nice to meet you. Me and my best friend are currently looking for a place to call 'home away from home'. I'm 26 originally from Bangkok and my friend is 27 from Japan. I'm working full-time and my friend is currently studying English in CBD. Both of us girls love traveling, meeting new people and learning new culture!
Hiya, I'm Meg. I'm 25 and work in the CBD area in IT. During the week I'll be at work either travelling interstate or in Sydney. I currently stay in St Leonards but my lease is up soon and would like to move into a new space. On the weekdays I like to go for walks/to the gym, watch the bachelorette (yes you read that right), attempt and fail at cooking then order in. On the weekend, I like to go on roadtrips, catch up with friends for dinner and drinks. I also brunch religiously. For ease of access to the CBD, I need to be close to a train station. Ideally looking for a room with ensuite but I'm also open to teamups and finding an apartment for lease if I can find a clean and tidy flatmate. I'm clean and tidy, I like to keep the apartment looking (and smelling) nice at all times.
My name's Ana but all my friends actually call me Penny instead, it's a Penny Lane kind of story :P I'm 31 and I'm from the south of Spain. I love traveling and learning from different cultures and I've lived in countries like USA, Holland and UK. I also absolutely love reading, I can seriously spend hours in a book shop. I love the beach (summer is my favorite season), enjoy music festivals, and i'm quite the animal lover. TV shows are also kinda my thing, I can't even count how many times i've watched all seasons of Friends or Gilmore Girls, oy with the poodles already! This summer I was granted a Working Holiday visa so I will be off in October to live my Aussie adventure in Sydney :) P.S. clean, organized, non-smoker ;)
I am 43 and work full time as a nanny in Lane Cove. I have a 10 year old, house trained, gentle and sweet male french bulldog. He is an indoor dog and sleeps in my room with me. He comes to work with me most days. I work 12 hour days so on weekends I like to relax. I take my dog out for long bush walks or the beach and lounge about at home with a movie and a bottle of wine or have quiet meals out with friends. I love movies, cooking and jazz. Originally from Malaysia, I lived in NZ for 10 years where I went to uni before settling here. I don't actually know many people in Sydney so I rarely have people over. I am looking for a quiet place that is safe for my dog and I and somewhere we can call home. I am tidy, quiet and easy going and would like to be in a home where the occupants are stable without dramas. Perhaps an owner/occupier as I prefer a long term stay (1 year or more). I have lived on my own for 10 years but am starting to find it very unaffordable. I'd like to flat with people of similiar age and lifestyle (quiet, tidy and no party types). Ideally, I'd like my own bathroom.
Hey! I'm Sam, and I'm a 24 year old male. I'm a business analyst, working typical full time business hours. I consider myself relaxed, open-minded and easy to get along with. As a house mate, I'm clean and tidy, respectful, and considerate. I enjoy watching sport, going to the beach, and having a good chat. Always up for a beer and a BBQ. My time at home is usually spent working/studying, or watching TV.
A bit about me: I'm 24 years old from Brazil and I've been in Australia since mid 2013. I currently work as a service delivery manager for an IT company in Frenchs Forest, Monday to Friday. I consider myself being a very friendly person, tidy, clean, and love watching some Netflix and movies during the week to relax. Going out for drinks and food every now and then is something I enjoy doing as well! On the weekends i like going to the beach, do some snorkelling and catch up my partner and friends most of the times. Happy to answer any other questions you might have :)
Hullo. I'm an experienced roommate having lived in flatshares in Sydney, London and Montreal. I'm a non-smoker, professional female; work full-time and usually longs hours so very low-key after work - usually come home, eat, shower, study and go to bed! On the weekends I'm usually out or studying. Love trying new restaurants, cultural events etc. I'm looking to a similar arrangement I've had in the past: non-smoker; someone who is clean in the kitchen, respectful, preferably professional male or female in their 30s. I'm more of a bar/wine-after-work than party type :) I ended up becoming friends with the women I've lived with in the past, so happy to provide references :)
Hi, I'm Kelly and I recently moved to Sydney from the UK. I'm on a working holiday visa and I have a Monday-Friday office job. I'll be in Sydney till the end of January and I'm looking for somewhere to live with laid-back, sociable flatmates. I'm not a party person but I like having a glass of wine and a chat after work. In my spare time I like running, swimming and exploring Sydney :)
irish fella, perm resident. Struggling to find a one bedroom place so im interested in teaming or moving into a 2bedroom place with someone. Im not a backpacker and dont party. been living here a long time and work hard. Im social and easy going but enjoy my down time to myself * I am looking for a room available now
We're friendly and well kept. Like to keep active, to cook hearty vegetarian meals and occasionally share a nice bottle of wine to wind down and relax. Currently residing in the Blue Mountains but keen to be closer to Sydney as we're both studying at UTS (journalism and medical science).
Hey, I'm Adam. What an arduous (check the vocab) process finding your new home and "to-be" flatmates is. So many variables to consider... location, price, compatibility, social influence. I guess that's not that many, really, but you know, you wanna get it right. I currently work as a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice. I become qualified this October and plan to move close to the city. I'm contemplating learning sales before I jump back into the electrical industry, if it all. Apprenticeships can be painful. I have a few months annual leave saved up giving me some time to check out the options once I've move in. Anyways. I despise the whole notion of job-as-identity. Let's get to the good stuff. I'm all about adventure. Some of my outdoor hobbies of have been surfing, skating, hiking and salsa. This year I want to start parkour, yes par-kour! I also love music and a good party. For me, partying should only be occasional. One of my biggest red flags for housemates is getting sucked into a wormhole of mindless weekly binge drinking. Don't get me wrong I'm down for a casual beer but I'm happy and prefer to go to gigs sober. On the flip side of all this I enjoy taking time out to focus, read, plan and ponder. I'm a big fan of health, fitness and self-development. My preference for housemates would be people who think the same about such things. I'm pretty easy going so it's not essential. Get in touch -Adam TLDR; I'm adventurous and introverted. I want to learn sales.
Kinda new to Sydney! I just finished my study B. Pharmacy at CSU and looking for a full time job at the moment. I am clean, quite and very respectful of the rights of my flatmate/s. Would love to have a nice chat on any possible occasions with my flatmates and form a good friendship with them:)
Name is Oliver but friends know me as Oli, I work full time in corporate sales for a global IT company. After work I normally go to the gym so from Mon-Fri I'm out for about 10-11 hours of the day. Lifestyle consists of staying active, during the week i'm at home and active on the weekends. I easily get along with people well and love to have a good laugh. Outside of socialising I like to keep it low key and spare time is usually spent on the computer, reading, watching movies, shows or cooking.
My name is Kylie, I am 29 working full-time at a bank in the city. I am clean and tidy. On weekends I like to go adventuring on a good day with friends, go out for dinner and also love to sit around with housemates and have a glass of wine and a laugh.
Hi my name is Toni, I work full time at a branding agency. During the week, both work and seeing friends keeps me busy (I have just finished studying so I am making up for lost time with them!) On the weekends I'm out most of the time, again either spending time catching up with friends or family (both locally & interstate). I love going out and dancing, trivia nights, exercise (just starting running at the beginning of the year and really loving it!), reading (anything but textbooks), going to Art Galleries and Museums, making things (why buy it when you can make it), cooking, gardening (succulents), as well as the occasional binge watch of a TV series. I'm looking to move into a house that is tidy, relaxed and sociable with the occasional shared meal or drink (either home or out). I also appreciate and respect personal space and time. I might note that I do get up early to go for a run a few times a week and occasionally work late or go out with friends after work - I'm really quiet you won't hear me, I promise! I'm flexible with the move date, as I need to find the right fit (both the place and people).
Hey! Names Miriam but my friends like to call me MJ! :) I'm a professional working full time in the city for a global investing firm. I'm 28, single, female, enjoys life and doesn't take life too seriously! I'm respectful, friendly, mindful of others and very clean and tidy. I lead an active lifestyle. I enjoy cooking, travelling, films, reading, yoga, getting outdoors on the weekends, exploring, enjoys a glass of wine, catching up with friends and love to do my own thing as well as be social and have a nice chat.
Hi! I'm moving to Sydney for work and looking for a place to live. Ideally I'd like to live with a couple of easy going people that like to be social but also don't mind a night in to just chill. I'm very easy going and get along with pretty much anyone.
I'm 28, originally from London, now working in a full time sponsored role as a Digital Campaign Manager for a radio group in Sydney. I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, reading, and netflixing. I'm quite a social guy so ideally I'm looking for a house where I can not only call my home, but also for housemates that wouldn't mind socialising on the occasional weekend. I do respect each other's privacy, however, and I'm rarely out on weekdays. If you think I'd make a good addition to your home then drop me a message or text.
Hi! A little bit about me... My name is Emma, I am 28, I am single, originally from the UK but have called Australia home for the last 9 years (Permanent Resident) I work full time in fashion for Parlour X in Paddington. I work hard and sometimes crazy hours! I travel a lot during the week too. So I like to relax and enjoy my days off by catching up friends, I love going to the beach, shopping (I am 100% addicted to shoes!), cooking, travelling near and far, and keeping fit! I am an easy going, friendly, considerate, fun loving girl (but definitely not a party girl!) who is always respectful of others privacy and space, and definitely house proud! I like to live somewhere nice and clean, and keep it that way. Looking for a person/people who enjoys a healthy lifestyle, keen to socialise maybe have dinner together, go for drinks on occasion or go to the beach, but not live in each others pockets - looking for a place to call home, and a flatmate/s who wants to make friends, not just share space!(this is really important to me!)
