I'm a 19 year old student studying physics at UQ while working a casual position as a fruit and veg guy at Coles West End. I'm originally from Toowoomba and I've been living out of home in Brisbane for the past 2 years. When I'm not working or studying I'll be boxing and when I'm not doing that I'm watching Netflix and playing games.
From Sweden, in Brisbane for my MSc thesis project at UQ until the end of May. Outgoing, easy to live with and probably going to spend a lot of time at the lab at UQ anyway (: Looking for a place to stay asap. Happy to answer questions about myself. Cheers!
Hi! I'm Rebecca. I’m a full time student at QUT to studying be a primary school teacher. I’m also studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. I'm a self contained kind of person, tidy (most of the time - as long as you don't count the floordrobe), and a NETFLIX marathoner. I love playing my PS4 on occasion, and I have a bunch of multiplayer games if you want to join in. I have a fluffy, cuddly little kitty named Cashew. He's a good boy most of the time, but like all troublemakers, can be known to push the boundaries. He's pretty well trained though (for a cat, anyway) so can be easily corrected. He’s also very smooch’s and wants nothing more than to cuddle and curl up with you for all the pats in the world. Also, I have a health condition called Fibromyalgia, symptoms including chronic pain and chronic fatigue. I manage it with low intensity exercise, rest, and lots of tiger balm. Can't wait to meet you!
Hi! My name is Kelly and I'm a 29 year old high school teacher. I love everything creative, especially drawing and going to the theatre. At the moment, I'm having a lot of fun going to cupcake decorating classes. I'm looking for a nice, friendly sharehouse to join (or possibly team up to start our own) with other female professionals around my age. I enjoy having a chat with my housemates and having a drink or watching some TV together. I also value my downtime and having a peaceful, quiet space to relax after a long day is important to me. I'm also clean and considerate, non-smoker and looking for the same. My current lease ends on the 14th Feb but can be flexible. Hope to hear from you. :)
We are a relaxed, friendly, respectable and clean couple who enjoy an active and healthy living and trips out the city. I’m 21 and currently in my third year of uni studying Bachelor of Science/Secondary Education, whilst my boyfriend is 23 and studying a Master of Business. We are fulltime students at UQ and both have a part time job (I work as an office assistant at a language school and he works as a headhunter. ) We have both lived in share houses so we know the importance of privacy and consideration in a shared environment.
I'm quiet but sociable, clean and tidy, and work full-time as a software developer very close to Central Station. I'm trying to learn more vegan recipes, and like juggling, playing and writing classical/folk guitar music, singing, playing sport, and going for walks. I grew up in Malawi, Morocco, Brunei, and Malaysia.
I'm currently 16, 17 in September. I'm completing my last year in high school, (Year 12). I currently have a part-time job at Mcdonalds. I'm a very friendly and down-to-earth person. I like to consider myself trustworthy and reliable, as well as responsible.
34 yo, easy to live with, happy to socialise but also enjoy time to myself. Respectful to others, their time and space. Love being out and about, enjoy nature and new experiences.
Hey I'm Lindy! I'm 20 and studying full time at QUT Gardens Point. I work part-time in the city and enjoy being active, exploring around Brisbane/the Coast, going out a bit and being social, but also relaxing and having my own space. I’m very easy-going, friendly and considerate of other people's space and privacy. I'm a clean and tidy person and reliable with paying rent on time. Flexible with move in date but preferably before the 2nd of February!
I’m 18, a full time uni student at QUT studying Physics and Aeronautical / electrical engineering. On the days that I’m not at uni I’m working part time in a recruiting firm or up on the Sunshine Coast visiting my parents. I’m young, but am sophisticated and mature, im up at 4:30 every morning to go to the gym before starting my day and am in bed before 9:30! I want to find someone to have Friday night drinks with, I don’t go out and party but enjoy spending my weekends at a few rooftop bars in the city, socialising with friends. I always pay my rent on time and am looking for a nice place, something modern and low maintenance as I like to be clean but not over the top.
I'm a 3rd Year engineering student at QUT with a small part time job on the side. I mostly work and study during the weeks but I like to hang out and adventure on the weekends if I'm free. I clean up after myself, and I am considerate of noise and of other peoples spaces.
Hey I'm Janessa, I'm 20 yrs old working full time in market research. I'm looking for one or two people of similar age to share an apartment/house with. I'm very easy going so I don't mind having chats over a drink, or keeping to myself, and would like someone the same. I'm also super clean and organised. Big animal lover so if you have pets I'm definitely down for that!
Hey there! We are a couple from germany, living in Brisbane since November 2017. We are doing an internship at the UQ until the end of April. We have to leave our current apartment on Feb 23rd 2018. About us: We are very easy going, relaxed, clean and we love to cook and do sports. On weekdays we are busy with our work but on the weekends we are happy to share some nice dinners with our flatmates. Looking Forward to hear from you guys! Cheers Dominik & Maral
I am clean and I pay bills on time. I respect personal space so I expect you to do the same. :) I am looking for a place to stay that is: - Fully furnished - near the train station - Bills are inclusive - No shared bathrooms - No shared rooms
I'm in desperate need of an all female house (private bedroom) under $180 including all bills and rent, I have been looking for ages now and have had no luck so here it goes :) I'm Melanie, 21 years young, I work part time in Brisbane City and this will be my first time moving out of home however I'm independent, considerate and friendly. I can assure you that bills and rent will be paid on time and I do respect people's privacy. I was born in Brisbane ( Mater Mothers like most Brisbane Babies haha) and have lived here all my life. My cultural background is Sri-Lankan & Indian and I don't know any other language except English :) Please please please do consider me as a flatmate, I'd love to meet up for coffee and chat about the details etc:) P. S I'm not a drinker or a smoker :)
Hi there, My name is Ryan and I am 33 years old. I am looking for a new place to call home, as currently I have been living in a big modern house on the north side of Brisbane for the last 5 years, have been the head tenant with most of the responsibility, and own most of the furniture. Our lease is coming up shortly, and I would like to move somewhere more central, whilst not paying an incredible amount of rent. Hoping to pay less than $220/week including bills. I am open to teaming up with someone to move into a town house etc too. I am looking to live with either 1, or max 2 other people. I can also provide furniture and appliances (couches, fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cutlery, dining table, chairs, desk, Balinese furniture, outdoor table, other appliances etc), but if not that's ok too as I can simply sell or store them elsewhere. I have a very well trained, friendly 10 year old male maine coon cat who I would love to bring with me. He is mostly an indoor cat, likes his sleep and doesn't mind other furry friends. We are best of buddies and have been through a lot together, and it would be great to live with people who would also enjoy the company of a mini tiger :) I have recently been working as a warehouse assistant, and also study business and IT on the side. I also receive government help as I do have a disability, which would not affect my ability to live with someone else independently. I am hoping to find something relaxed with little to no dramas, judgements or arguments. A place with a decent sized room, air conditioning (just for the hot periods, and not necessarily in the room itself). My cat is used to wandering outside for the odd walk around the yard so I would also prefer to live somewhere that has a backyard/courtyard. I am the kind of guy who is social with his housemate/s, but can also as easily keep to myself. I would prefer to live with friendly, supportive people who don't take living situations too seriously. I am indeed responsible, respectful, caring, open, very clean (dislike mess), honest, and reliable. What I am not into is drinking copious amounts of alcohol (the odd glass of spirits is ok), smoking (but do not mind if you do smoke), or constant partying. These days I am more into social events, lots of exercise and the gym, self development, watching a good movie, meditation, reading, nature or heading to the beach. I am also vegan. If you like the sound of me, please send me a message as I am keen to find my next long-term house mate/s and home to be. I have not provided my mobile number as I would prefer to build rapport over message first, and then chat on the phone :) Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you, Ryan
Hi there, my name is Sabrina and I’m a 23-year-old German student. I’ll move to Brisbane in February to study architecture at the UQ for two semesters. I am a really easy-going person and I love to meet new people. I am clean and tidy, respectful, reliable and open-minded. I also enjoy cooking, the beach, good weather, horse riding and quality time with my friends.
I'm friendly, easy-going and respectful, and I think fun to be around. As a flatmate I tend to just do my own thing, but I'm always happy for a chat over a coffee or a beer. I moved to Brisbane in August to work in Toowong Tower and the job is going great, so now I want to find a place to live that's as good as my job.
I'm a full-time BA student at UQ studying Philosophy and Gender studies. I'm quite introverted and keep to myself a lot. I'm very particular about cleanliness and picking up after myself. My family lives on the Gold Coast so I will probably be that way on the weekend.
I am friendly to live with. I am an international student from Hong Kong but don’t worry I can speak fluent English because I studied in Brisbane high school for more than 2 Years before. I always keep my things tidy and organised so there won’t be any of messy room stuff. I play outside sports such as basketball and when I am at home I like to play computer games in my spare time.
Hi, my name is Rosie and I'm a 2nd year student at QCA. I like art, nerdy things and staying healthy. I like to hang out but also have my own space to do my art and during semester I'm usually super busy. Just looking for a chill, nice place to live with friendly and clean people :)
