Hi I am a professional female, looking for a lovely homely place with one other person and with my own bathroom. I am clean, have a positive personality, active lifestyle and meet friends usually away from home as home is a place to quiet down for me. I love hiking, yoga, nature, dancing and don't watch much TV although I really enjoy watching the occasional movie with a housemate ;) I work in the afternoons, late evenings and weekends (I’m working in health industry) and it works well to share with someone who works regular 9-5 pm business hours. I sometimes sleep till late morning if I had a late shift and look for a home that's quiet in the morning. Looking foward to meeting you :) Martine
Clean and love to laugh. Pay bills on time. I'm a student so I need a fair a bit of time to myself but when I do interact I love to have a laugh. In my spare time I like to get out into nature, watching docos/ tv/ movies. Want to create/ join a place where all housemates are equally comfortable, myself included. That means being around people who are on my level. I like things to be clean but I understand that things don't have to be done that second. Want a harmonious environment. Being on the same page is crucial; neat freaks belong with neat freaks. In saying that, I like a nice environment so don't wait too long to do something. Basically I want to avoid conversations about housework. Need a place that's close to the train. Could go for a furnished place for 3 months. Or, a longer term place with the right fit.
I'm an interior design student at QUT and I paint as a hobby. I'm a bit of a hermit during the semester, but I enjoy sharing a chat or a drink after classes in the afternoon. I've been renting and living in sharehouses for 5 years now, so I know the drill with paying rent and bills, and I'm good at sharing spaces and keeping things tidy.
My name is Lorena and I'm an international student at UQ. I'm looking for a long term place to be my new home. I prefer somewhere quiet during the week so i can study but i don't mind spending time with roommates in the weekend.
Hi! I'm Nathan. I'm a 21 year old Business student and a part time specialist at Apple Carindale. A bit about me? Well I am a freelance photographer in my spare time and love working with film. I've been living in Brisbane for about 4 years now and am looking for a share-house to call my home hopefully for the next little while! I'm an uppity sort of guy but love to unwind with a beer and play some records.
Hi 😁 My name is Jasmine, Half Ukrainian and I am a first year University student at KG QUT, looking for accommodation close to the campus! I’m respectful and quiet, I love going shopping on the weekends or visiting friends in my spare time
Hi I’m Catarina, 22 years old and from Germany. I’m an open minded person and would love to meet new people !! I like to go to the beach and shopping on weekends, also sometimes to party :) but I’m also a very chilled person who love evenings with good talks, some snacks and Netflix! Back in Germany I have three dogs and miss them a lot, so if you have a pet it would be amazing and no problem! :) I’m looking for a room close to the inner city Brisbane and can’t pay more than 120$. I’m a backpacker at the moment and want to settle in Brisbane. I could move in around March
I’m looking for somewhere to live that’s a little closer to work- preferably within 5km of the CBD. While I’d prefer to live by myself, I’d happily consider living in a two bedroom place with the right person! I work full-time in the city and so will spend most evenings at home or visiting family. Im social, but will happily give you space if you have guests coming over or just need some time to yourself. I’m trained in both First Aid & CPR and Mental Health First Aid. I cook most nights as its cheaper than eating out but I love ordering some cheeky Thai every now and again. I have my own bedroom furniture and tend to be pretty self sufficient. Although my bedroom may be a little untidy at times, I’m always sure to keep common areas and bathrooms clean. Message me if you’re in one of my listed areas! Please keep in mind I’m looking for female only accommodations and would rather have no more than 1 roomate at most. 😊
Hi! I've just started an 18 months Master's in writing, editing and publishing at UQ, so seeking a house share that balances the need to study with the need to relax and cut loose from time to time. I've suggested a 6 month stay but can stay longer/shorter. I've house shared enough to know when to whip out the bleach and when to let a plate in the sink go. I'm from the UK but lived that backpacker life in the ol' sunshine state for the last two years. I'm independent and have a life in Brisbane but always keen for a chat and tea/wine. That's a long winded way of saying I'm not needy. An arbitrary list of likes of demanded by this website: writing, halloumi, the beach, the bush. If you like the cut of my jib, get in touch!
Hey, I'm leaving my current job to do a traineeship so need to change my living situation. I'm pretty chill and tidy. I love being social but need my alone time too. Love to cook and listen to music and tend to either watch movies or venture out on my days off
HI :) I'm Aisla . looking for a room close to my work place at St Lucia . I'm working fulltime , very respectful of ur privacy , easygoing , so happy to give a hand to my house mates , reliable , friendly and quite. G'day g'day, Twenty-three year old from the Sunny Coast here. Having just arrived home from the vortex that is Central America, I'm putting in the hard yards to earn back all that I've spent on tacos and tequila, but am currently having to commute to Brisbane for work. Open to residing just about anywhere reasonably close to the city. Not wanting to lock down anything longer than a six month stay at this stage, and ideally would like to stay off the lease as I'm not sure what the later part of the year holds for me just yet! Flexible moving dates between Feb and March 2018. I'm super easy going, friendly and open minded. I work in the disability support field and currently care for a legendary little dude in Greenslopes, but have a crack at music production/DJing on the side. Bonus points if you share a passion for bangers! Also love travelling, having a yarn, brewskis, cooking up mad vego meals and I'd love to meet ya mates. I'm looking for a somewhat sociable home where a drink/laugh/meal can be shared every so often. I've lived in all sorts of beautifully sticky situations, from a 1984 Ford motorhome with five of the best lads you could know, to a four bedroom flat accommodating fifteen big personalities and a colony of small rodents (it was as fun as it sounds), so I'm very used to sharing living space while also being considerate of other's needs, privacy and belongings. To be honest, those I'm sharing with matter much more to me than the place itself. I'm all for sh*tholes with good vibes! If you reckon I'm fit for the job, I'll be going off like a bucket of prawns in the hot sun to hear from ya. Lucy x
Hi! I am a clean, considerate tenant. I have lived in a sharehouse for four years but now that I am a young professional (recent graduate in finance and economics) I would like to rent a two bedroom apartment with my friend. Hobbies include reading, netball, chess, hiking, volleyball, snowboarding and knitting (I took it up while listening to lectures in university). Please consider us as tenants for your property and if you have any questions or would like to meet us, please do not hesitate to do so.
Hello, my name is Sally and I just graduated from Bond Uni, plan to move back from Gold Coast to Brisbane to be close to my friends because I used to study at UQ for two years. I’m a easy going person, currently focus on my academic English language test so I need a quite place with good internet for daily practice. Normally I would like to spend time with my friends at weekends to hang out, jogging or hiking. I come from China, can speak Chinese, English and Korean. And I would like to find a ensuit or own bathroom room. I would happy to talk with roomies at any time but also respect the others. If you have a great house to share please let me know, I’m currently live in Gold Coast but could drive back to Brisbane every three days. Thanks
