Hi! We are Juan (J.D) & Avani, currently in our early 20's looking for a great, new household to move into as soon as possible! We both are extremely chilled, respectful, mindful, and easy going, down to earth, tidy people. We are both from Darwin, N.T and have been in Melbourne for about a year and a few months now! I am Australian - Guatemalan and Avani, Australian, with indigenous & french roots. Avani currently works as an executive assistant full-time at Parliament, and I work part time as an in-house designer (Monash University) and currently study at Monash University (Fine Arts). I speak fluent Spanish, so I wouldn't mind teaching you a few words here and there! While Avani is phenomenal with spoken word poetry! We are both very passionate about, art, music, film, poetry and food. Did I also say we are great cooks?! We are both Vegan & Veggie friendly of course! We'd love to and can play a great tune for you (Avani on the Uke, and I on the guitar) or have a great book/art talk over a wine and a nice dessert. We also love animals, so if you have any fur babies, we will love them and take great care of 'em as well! That being said, we too respect and value privacy! We aren't party people, but we love going to see a band or a play here and there! We also like to have mates over for an occasional dinner and/or lunch every now and then. Lastly, we just want to make new friends and are looking to have a rad set of housemates. So feel free to contact me, if you think we'd be a great match or have any questions!
Hi, my name is Efekan, 25 year-old civil engineer from Istanbul, Turkey. I'm here in Melbourne to work&live for at least 18 months.
Hi I’m Nick, I’m from England but live in Australia permanently now, fun and social love going out for a beer but work full time as a plumber so pretty quiet in the week. Like having a chat but also having my own space.
I'm honest, friendly, easy to get along with though I do tend to keep to myself and always clean up after myself. I'm new to house sharing but due to how my life has played out lately I really need to find some sort of accommodation that has some security behind it and not find myself having to move again in a couple weeks or months time. I have been doing domestic cleaning for myself for quite a few years now on a casual basis plus I receive Newstart benefits as I don't earn enough through just cleaning. I am constantly looking for full-time employment and have been doing some small courses to hopefully help. I don't own a car, therefore I do walk a lot and also rely on public transport.
I'm a clean, responsible housemate, looking for a share house the same. I'm pretty quiet during the week, as I work long hours, but enjoy a nice chat about anything. Don't mind a few drinks and socialising during the weekends
I'm deaf and can lip read a bit. I use Auslan fluent by langauge. Can teach if interested! I'm Non smoker or Drug. I keep to fit! Am Easy / Out going, Laid back, Neat, Responsibility, Reliable tenant, Pay on the time, etc. I do enjoy a drink or two on occasional or during the weekends. Am looking for a long resident. (6 months - ?) I got a small things on me so easy to move in... I have a Police clearance certificate and references.
My name is Mersi and I am moving back to Melbourne after having being on the Gold Coast for the last year and a half for work. I work as an event manager and when I’m not working I love going out for coffee, going to the beach and just hanging out with mates. I consider myself clean and considerate of other peoples space. If you want to know more about me just ask!
Hi I'm B, almost 30 and working full time as a before and after school care co-ordinator. I have been around Melbourne housesittng for the past 2 years, but am now wanting somewhere with some space to call my own. I am an incredibly tidy and conscientious person who loves nothing more than a good book and lame dad jokes. I dont consider myself a party animal, but love a good chat and a drink with friends. I'm looking for a happy and positive person to move in with. Someone who doesn't mind being social - sharing a meal or drink and who will take pride in our home. I'm a great communicator (prefer to solve issues then and there rather than letting them stew) and am very respectful of others space. Ideally looking for a team-up as I have 90% of the things needed to furnish an apartment (couch, fridge, washing machine, all kitchen things etc)
Tidy, organised and a positive person. I’ve lived on the Mornington Peninsula for 8 years, but my work has recently moved to Cheltenham. I enjoy the beach, working out, music festivals, dance and love dogs.
Howdy friends, My name is Emily, I'm 19 and I'm studying a Bachelor of Management at Deakin in Burwood. My landlord has just given me notice so I'm looking to move into a new place within the upcoming uni break (I *may* possibly find time to move out sooner, so if you really love me let me know and I'll see if I can swing something!) I work Monday-Friday mornings in Hughesdale and could not possibly fill my time with more AFL than I do at present. I play, umpire, watch, and work at Etihad and the MCG so it's pretty full on but I do really love it. If you also love the weird ball sport we will get along splendidly. What I was mainly trying to get at was that I work enough to pay my rent and bills on time (my landlord can attest to that) but now you know a little about my greatest hobby. I'm either looking for an existing sharehouse or to start a new place with similar friends. I can only sign a 6 month lease because all things going well, I'll be taking off end December to the USA for a trimester abroad. I'd potentially be open to resuming a lease at the same place upon return if we get on like a house on fire (pun intended but can we not burn the house down for real that'd be alright). I drive so the place needs to have some element of parking, off street would be dandy but I'm not fussed. I also love PT and convenience so I'd love to be close to a train station/bus route that takes me to work/uni, but I'm good with logistics so I can always sort something. I can't afford more than what I'm paying now, so the most I could go to would be about $200pw including bills (or less excluding). Location doesn't bother me, I have quite a broad scope. The above listed suburbs are a general reference so if you live anywhere in the vicinity of the inner-ish south eastern suburbs please sing out! Keen to find a new joint with a rad fam. Look forward to hearing from you soon xo PS. the pet is a maybe and it's a frog. I haven't gotten her yet, I've been trying to get her for a year now but getting her set up is more expensive than I'd accounted for. She would live in a tank in my room/communal area if allowed and I'd be completely responsible for her. Your pets are fine with me too!
I am looking for a place with my partner who is a full-time electrician and I work and study environmental science part-time. I love to cook and get out into nature. Axel loves skating and gaming and we both enjoy a chat over wine or beer or a meal. We are both tidy and relaxed people who appreciate your space and enjoy time to ourselves from time to time as well.
Hi, I’m Chris. I work in irrigation and water infrastructure. I enjoy sport, keeping active and socialising with friends. As a housemate I’m clean, tidy and respectful. Easy to get along with. Social but enjoy my own space.
Just a gal looking for friendly housemate(s) to find a nice place together xx I’m very clean & organised, respectful of your space but always there for a chat! You can rely on me for paying rent & bills on time and keeping communal spaces spotless I work in St Kilda, but currently living in Berwick which is a bit too far away! Looking to move mid year but earlier if possible :)
Easy going 40 yo Australian Lad, Monday to Friday worker, Golfer on Saturday and all round pretty chilled. Been employed in my current Management Role for 12 years now and am loving it. Non smoker, quite, keeps to myself but in saying that do love a cold beer after work. I am respectful and courteous to ones needs. I am looking for something that is minimum 1 year which will more than likely extend if all in agreement. I do travel 4-6 times a year for work. You most certainly wont have any issues with me. Im a bit old school in that I prefer Face to Face communication so please, if you feel that you have something that suits me by all means drop me a line. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm Harry, 22, recent graduate from the UK on a working holiday. Fell in love with Melbourne on a visit from New Zealand and decided to move out! Looking for a place to live, and looking for work a.s.a.p. - temp, bar work, retail. I'm a pretty fun person (though quiet nights in with Netflix are always necessary) so something more central and closer to the busier areas/the CBD is ideally what I'm looking for. Into music + gigs, nature, beach days, nightlife, video games, reading; just about anything. Very keen on keeping a tidy living space, always open to new people and adventures, good cook and terrible English humour. Lots of experience living with others so fully on board with respecting privacy and the communal aspects of the flat. Prefer to live with others but will browse over some 1 bed listings if something ideal comes up. EDIT - if you've seen this listing before, it's because I created it for a few months ago and had to delay the move out. I'm here now!
I’m a health professional working in Melbourne looking for a tidy, friendly share house with easy access to Melbourne. I keep busy with work, gym and yoga and love to cook and spend weekends at the beach.
Super tide and organized Brazilian. Living away from home more than 12 years (2 yrs in USA and 9 yrs in NZ)... time to try Australia now ;) Full time employee (transferred by the company from NZ). I'm friendly, trustworthy, workaholic but enjoy a relaxing glass of wine here and there. Planning to continue my crossfit training in Melbourne and get to know the city.
Really easy going. Respectful. Friendly. Clean.
Country kid entrepreneur, recently I have been working on a store based in DFO Moorabbin and want to continue to rake it in here through next year. School wasn't my deal so I moved out of home young after snagging my dream photography job. It's been a really fun journey ever since and I have learnt much about flatmates over the years. I have been both flatmate and host before. I would describe myself as the total no drama type. I am independent, kind, outgoing, I know how to look after people and I really value respect. I'm easy to socialise with as I always have loads to talk about. I like to work 7 days a week but it's flexible as I only work for myself. I always find the time to clean as I am a total germaphobe, vacuuming especially. LOVE PETS and love to get everyone dinner from time to time. I have been in this business for 3 years now. It very profitable and easy to maintain. I usually go on a 2 week business trip once a quarter. To add, I have a partner named Brianna who likes to visit once a week at most, we are Roman Catholic, we aren't very affectionate and we usually just work together on the business. :) Move date is very flexible, I am living comfortably in a business related house in Coburg North at the moment so no rush. Hope I can find kind, honest hard working people like myself!
25yo. Female. Freelance beauty assistant and promotional/events worker. I'm considerate of others and am extremely laid back meaning I keep to myself. Im looking for flatmates and if we end up friends then thats an added bonus. Nothing phases me, I never judge others, and am hoping theres some like minded people waiting for a flatmate like me. Ultimately Im looking for a self contained unit, granny flat, bungalow or similar but realistically would consider any arrangement that involves less than 4 flatmates and isnt too far from where i currently reside in Aspendale as Ive become, fond of and familiar with, the area. I also find living by the ocean is important to me for mental, physically and spiritual wellbeing. Georgia
My dog and kitten are very cute, they’re probably the best thing I’ve got going for me. I’m also tidy, responsible, friendly, fairly quiet but also up for fun and adventures :) I’m studying psychology and nannying part time.
Hey there - I'm a Melbourne local looking for a room to rent somewhere preferably walking distance to a train station or trams. I work full-time in social work around the Frankston area. I do have a car and drive often around Melbourne for work so it would be great if the place has off-street parking, though on-street is fine too :) I'm tidy, clean and quiet - I work weekdays and spend my weekends generally relaxing, cooking, visiting family and going out with friends. I enjoy chatting with my housemates and having a laugh but also enjoy winding down and spending time to myself. I love finding local brunch spots and bars - any recommendations greatly appreciated! I'm a vegetarian but have no problems living with people who eat meat. I also like to try to live somewhat sustainably. Would love to live with people who are also working full time! Or a combo of working + studying. I like living with people who are relaxed about having friends and partners over every now and then - within reason of course :) I love cats and dogs as long as they're trained and friendly
