I have just returned from a 2 year working holiday in New Zealand which was fantastic! I was born in Brisbane. Currently looking for work but can pay rent (I am not on benefits). I don't smoke, I am clean and super tidy. I am also a minimalist and cannot live with clutter but as I have quite a bit of stuff in storage I'm looking for a granny flat of my own. Am pretty quiet and not a big fan of loud TVs but do occasionally enjoy a 'singfest' (private karaoke) when no one else is around. I am also a bit 'anal' about turning off lights, stand-by items etc. as I detest waste plus it saves electricity. Hot days and particularly nights I find hard to cope with so if there is air-conditioning I will use it but I try to keep to a minimum as it is expensive. Another reason why I like to turn off electrical items that aren't being used, keeping cool at night so I can sleep is more important. I have a reference from a previous rental property (Brisbane), plus police check dated 2015 which I needed for work in NZ as well as a NZ police check dated 2016. That's me in a nutshell.
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 26-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean, considerate, and friendly, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - about 1.5 cubed metres (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room).
Helpful, love organizing stuff. Easy to get along with, prefer to do my own thing and I'll leave you to yours. I have an 11 yr old son who is extremely well behaved, quiet, spends his time mostly on his xbox, he's friendly, very funny, a little socially awkward. I;m not currently working although i do odd jobs here and there, drawing, waitress, but I;m just looking for somewhere too get my feet back on the ground after splittting with my ex-partner. Fresh Start. ASAP please.... help?
Hello there, We are looking for someone to join our crew to find a new house! You'll be living with Gaby (studying vet nursing and working part time), Luke (studying IT and working part time) and me (working full time at RBWH). We’re a friendly bunch who enjoy hanging out playing video/board games, trying something new (currently water painting) or having a couple of friends around. Hoping to find someone with similar interests, or someone keen to try some new ones! We are ideally looking for someone of similar age to us who is friendly and reliable with rent. Hit us up!
24 y/o male looking for a place to live. Clean, tidy, considerate, non-smoker. Starting back at online uni next semester. Looks after nearly 2 y/o toddler most weekdays.
Full time employed on Maternity Leave at present. Looking for accommodation for myself, 9 year old daughter and my 3 week old baby to move out asap.
I am independent, easy going, respectful, fun and clean person. I am currently serving as an Ammunition Technician however i am leaving the life of the Army behind to persue a career as a logistics manager. I have a keen interest in fitness and staying active. I enjoy making new friends and socailising on the weekends but also enjoy my own time and personal space. I am very adaptable and honest what you see is what you get. If you want to more please feel free to message me.
I am an open-minded, polite, and well mannered individual. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer who is also managing a gym. It keeps me out of trouble and mindful of my health and fitness. When not in the gym for work or pleasure (pain?) I do play sport and head out for weekend hobbies. This is not to say I am not partial to a glass of red and the conversation/meal/film it is accompanied by. I am a people person and love meeting new people. I also come with a 4 year old border collie, Jack. He is super relaxed and quiet but loves a good old pat. Not looking for a hectic, late-night household as I need all the beauty sleep I can find. Preferably not smokers either. Couples and pets are most welcome. I you've any queries of me, be sure to send me a message. Otherwise, let us get coffee and find a place. Until then, I will leave you with this: 'Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.' - Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947).
My name is Grant. I am a 48year old. I am a fairly quiet & reserved type of person. I am friendly & respectful of others but I do tend to keep to myself. I am neat and tidy, and I do clean up after myself. I work casually in South Brisbane three days a week. I suppose you could say I am semi-retired. I don't drink, I don't smoke and I don't party or do drugs of any kind. I am fairly fit because I do a lot of walking and roller skating. I try and get to the skating rink at least twice a week.......more if I am able :) I don't have a car so getting around keeps me fit. BTW I am gay if that matters at all. I am looking for a place within 10kms of the city centre (preferably 5kms) with easy access to public transport (train & bus). It would be nice to find a studio or one bedroom apartment, but for my budget a room in a share house is good enough (although the less people I have to share with the better). I don't have any furniture so a furnished place would be nice. I would also need internet (preferably wifi) because I spend a lot of time online. Air-conditioning is nice as well. The last couple of places that I have rented have had everything (power, wifi etc.) included in the rent & even though it probably costs a little more I don't mind cause it's easier. If you have a place that you think would suit me then please don't hesitate to contact me.
Hey! I'm looking to move out within the next few weeks, ideally as soon as possible, before 1st of October :) Preferably all bills included and great Internet, if bond is flexible that would be even better, but I am pre approved for a bond loan if required. Furnished with a desk would be great! I'm currently successfully self employed as a Virtual Assistant and on newstart payments while looking for fulltime work (or making my business full time) after moving back from Melbourne in March. I will be working from home but no clients visit so a desk in my room would be helpful. If you are interested let me know, I'm clean and tidy and respectful of my surroundings. Im a quiet person, I don't party and I'm not noisy, hoping to find a place that welcomes friends over for dinner once in a while. Thanks!
I will be looking for a room to rent in late November, I am a 24 year old receptionist, work full time and a range of shifts which keeps me busy, I have a lovely little sharpei (dog) who is very relaxed and Independent but loves a pat and a play when it suits.
Hey! Currently looking for a housemate to get an apartment with. I've been living with house mates for the past 3 years, so at this point I honestly just want a chill, easy environment to live in. Looking for people who I can have a drink with after work but can still be independent. I work part time at Telstra & study Business full time at QUT, so I'm not home heaps. I'm pretty active so it would be cool to have someone to train with occasionally too! I'm good at washing up.
I work full time, am a PhD Candidate so I study when not working. I also travel for work for a week or two every 3 months and my soul mate and small dog sleepover once a fortnight on average.
Hey, my name is Hannah. I'm looking for housemate(s) who are financially reliable, clean, considerate and fun! I'm an outgoing, friendly and social person and enjoy exploring new bars & restaurants & cafes (absolutely love going out for breakfast and have been known to drive 30 mins just to get good coffee across town), the beach, good wine, cooking (sometimes). I love getting out for walks and hikes and keep a pretty busy lifestyle but also love the finer things in life. I work in Moreton Bay so from Mon-Fri am out of the house from around 7am-7pm for the commute. I'm hoping to find housemates that enjoy sharing a wine or two together and are cool and respectful and basically that the house is somewhere that I enjoy being in and don't just have to stay in my room when I'm home. If this sounds like you too, I would love to hear from you
Hey Flatmates! I'm 25 female that works full time and knows all there is to know about living with other people! I have previously shared house and get being neat and tidy and respectful. I love to be outdoors on weekends in the sun with some friends and chill out or do something active! I have no issue with pets I love animals so all okay.. look forward to meeting new people and love social chats. I'm very easy going and laid back so looking for similar kind of people :) Hope to hear from you! Cheers Malli Jade
My name is Trishelle, I have just turned 20 & whilst I appreciate living at home still I think its well and truly time for me to leave the nest and become more independent than I already am! This would be the perfect opportunity for me actually as my parents are currently building a house in Plainlands - which is about an hours drive to my work! I work full time in Morningside for a Construction company called SJ Higgins Constructions! I love to go to the gym daily and spend time with friends and family, when I'm not working! Thanks!
Hi all Im looking for a nice house or unit. I'm organized and responsible. I spend my free time practicing rollerblading, hanging out with friends, drinking and cooking. Student of Administration & Business. I work everyday and also Saturday's. I need a place: #Organized #Clean #Furnished #Bills included, please #Private room Budget $150 p/w. Hi my name is Nik- I'm an easy going guy. I work at RBH as a Registered Nurse. My current lease runs our end of September and I'm planning to move to new place - iether buddy up or move in with my future flatmate who currently has a place. With my profession I have traveled a lot so I'm used to sharing. I'm currently saving up for my own place so would like to share for few more years while saving. Looking to share with one other person only. Another shift worker would be great but flexible with it. Doing shift work sometimes I work nights and majority mixture of late/early shifts. Hence ideally looking for place with air con in my bedroom. Only have bedroom furniture, therefor would require a fully furnished accomodation. I am a smoker but outdoor only. I believe communication is a key to a successful house sharing. If I sound like the right person you'd like to share with please get in touch. Thanks Nik
