Hey! Shae (24, my current roommate, and I (Tara, 33) are looking to team up with some like-minded people who are wanting to save money on rent by moving into a larger house (3-5 bedrooms). Our rental searches have shown some beautiful properties in inner city Brisbane for approximately $200-$250 per person. We currently live in a 2-bedroom apartment so we have furniture that is relatively modern and recently purchased that would sufficiently furnish some communal areas of a larger property (lounge, coffee table, TV cabinet, fridge, washing machine etc as well as a fully stocked kitchen!). Obviously, by moving into a larger house additional items can be accommodated. A bit about us: We both usually keep busy during the week with work and gym but enjoy a wine or two on the weekend. We like to have a catch up together but also keep busy with our own things. We are looking for people that would also be keen to hang out and socialise from time to time :)
Hello, I'm preferably looking for a decent sized 1 or 2 b.r. unit / apartment, or duplex style set up where house is divided into 2. Cheers, Zac B.
Hey, I'm Amber! I'm currently in my 2nd year of my 3 year degree (Fashion), super easy to get along with and tidy. I'm looking for either a room in an existing share house or some like-minded people to sign a lease. My current lease doesn't end until the 28th of January and I'll be studying overseas for 3 weeks within January, so move in day would have to be after I return. So if you're interested in living with a fun and laid back chick, who can cook some bloody good food, swing me a message :)
hello. i am 32 years old and policeman in korea(now my vacation), i get along well with people because i like being active. i am polite and try not to harm others. but i can't speaking english well. that's why i am attending a icte-uq to study english. i want to try a new experience living with foreigners. i don't care where share house is.
I won't steal your food but I will make you lots of food. I study Naturopathy and work part time as a barista. I enjoy a bit of wine, banter, and Netflix, but also keep to myself. I'm currently building a bed in my car to do some solo traveling around Aus for a few days at a time every week. I love hiking, anything in the sun, cooking, op-shopping, eating lots, and cleaning up after myself... My dog lives with my ex but if he's allowed to come visit I can ensure excellent pats and quality snugs.
Hi everyone, My current roommate is moving to WA so I am looking for a new roommate to take his spot on the lease which expires 9 June 2019 (option to resign) . The apartment is 2bed, 2 bathroom apartment in the brand new Capri apartment building located in Newstead on Ann street. You will also get 1 months free rent at the end of our lease (this was part of the promotion when I signed the lease) The apartment is on level 15 facing the city. You will have your own room (unfurnished), own bathroom, and your own balcony facing the city that provides a great view up Ann street. The rest of the apartment is fully furnished. Capri has a lagoon pool, large gym, and bbq facilities. There is plenty of cafes, bars, Woolworths etc walking distance from the apartment and the CBD is only 1.5km away (I walk to and from work everyday)
Hi I am a professional Dutch female, looking for a lovely homely place with one other person and with my own bathroom. I am clean, have a positive personality, active lifestyle and meet friends usually away from home as home is a place to quiet down for me. I love hiking, yoga, nature, dancing and don't watch much TV although I really enjoy watching the occasional movie with a housemate ;) I work in the afternoons, late evenings and weekends (I’m working in health industry) and it works well to share with someone who works regular 9-5 pm business hours. I sometimes sleep till late morning if I had a late shift and look for a home that's quiet in the morning. Looking foward to meeting you :) Martine
Its definitely worthwhile to mention my impressive capacity for tea drinking and being a bottomless pit where pizza is concerned. That said, I am employed full time, and I studying part time. Pretty easy going and I like a good laugh; I am clean but not aggressive about being spotless. I enjoy a good chat but usually am pretty independent. I am looking for somewhere to stop for at least the next twelve or so months. As a late twenties something, approaching 45 years of emotional age, I'm not much for partying every weekend but I enjoy the kind of socialising that involves me sitting. A pretty healthy eater, and fairly active - bit of a hiker. Probably best to mention that I work in Corrections, so I'm not legally able to live with anyone with a current order/criminal conviction.
I'm a very respectful individual, I respect space that is shared and always ensure it is tidy. I am relaxed at times, but I know how to loosen up and have fun as well. I often drift in and out of introvert and extrovert, but once I get to know people I tend to open up. I work full-time, exercise regularly, and have a social life. I'm also a great listener! If you've had a shit day, I generally offer myself as a sound board to people.
I am a full time worker in the city and doing uni subjects online for QUT. I got to the gym most afternoons / mornings and I tend to keep myself pretty busy. However I don't love anything more than a wine and chit chat :) although I do like my down time, I do like to socialize on the weekends whether it be dinner or drinks with friends in new farm or the city
I'm friendly, kind and caring, but also respect people's personal space. I'm tidy and organised and lowkey an amazing cook. I love animals and am LGBT+ friendly and super accepting of all types of people.

Hello! Originally from Edinburgh in Scotland, been in Australia for three years working as an Account Manager for a software company. Outgoing, social person who plays sport (boxing, cycling, football), enjoys travelling, cooking, and music, as well as a chilled day at the beach, park, Sunday market or festival. Ideally looking for a long-term flatshare or houseshare arrangement where I can get to know the housemates and contribute to a fun, relaxed environment, but open to shorter-term arrangements.
Super relaxed friendly person. Enjoy wines and making dinner with house mates. However also have a wide bunch of friends which I’m usually out with on weekends. Work in hospitality so I’ve got weird hours. Usually sleep a lot and don’t make much noise 😊
Hi! I’m Finn – 26 years old and from London. I was in Australia at the beginning of the year on my working holiday visa where I managed to complete my farm work on a citrus farm, I then went back to the UK to work the summer festival season where I sell Mexican food, and about a week ago I arrived back in Australia to enjoy the rest of my visa time here. I am currently living in my campervan, but I have decided to sell my van and enjoy the city life while earning some good money, so my plan is to live and work in Brisbane where I can do all these things side by side (and enjoy the sunshine!). As I’m selling my van I need somewhere more stable to live (which I am looking forward to as I have been living out of a bag for far too long now). I’m clean and tidy. I love cooking, meditation, listening to podcasts, climbing trees, music, having adventures and messing around. My favourite thing about flat shares is hanging out in the kitchen while people cook and talking about the mysteries of life. I somehow scored a job already, I start this week painting rooftops (or something like this, I will have to see how it is and what I actually have to do when I start). So money and paying rent will not be a problem. I plan to stay in Brisbane for the foreseeable future, at least a few months and probably more. As I had a lot of crazy fun at the UK festivals during the last months I feel ready to just get my head down into a routine of working and post-work relaxing, with much less partying and drinking – although I am not opposed to others’ wants and needs for these things, and I may partake on the odd occasion ;). Finn x
Super tidy and easy to live with. Looking for some laid back young people to sign a lease with. I work full time in Milton, and spend most of my spare time at the gym and doing my own thing. Looking to get a puppy so pet friendly is a must. I'm pretty easy going, just expect what i put in around the house in return. Just want to live in a nice place, with nice people and a puppy. I'm pretty easy on location, just want to be no further than 15 mins from the city. Also open to moving into an existing share house if they're welcoming of a pup.
I am quite, tidy, respectful, have a sense of humour and enjoy good conversation. I enjoy music, books and cinema; everything from the latest Marvel blockbuster to indie arthouse. I am a bit of a nerd so comics and sci-fi are my thing but I'm also interested in a few sports. I take everyone as I find them and don't care your race, sexual orientation etc., it's all fine by me. I am 49-years-old and on a disability pension (advanced osteoporosis). I’m mobile but one set of stairs is my limit. If you live in a unit above the second story I’m not your guy. I require an unfurnished room as I come with a bed, desk etc.. I also have quite a few tools so somewhere with under house storage would be preferable. I am not a smoker but I do vape, which is my only vice. I currently live in an all male household but would prefer a mixed one or one where the men living there understand how to keep a tidy home. Finally I have a five-year-old Labrador X who is happiest playing fetch, receiving pats or curled up at your feet.
I’m clean and quiet, I can be very shy sometimes but if you give me some confidence I will be the best housemate. I don’t spend too much time at home, I love spending time outside I’m from Spain and I came here to Australia to live a new experience and grow up
