I am moving to Brisbane at the end of the year and looking for a team- up, room/ house/flat to rent. Looking for either guys or girls between the ages of 25-35. I am fairly quiet (until you get to know me), easygoing, like alone time and also up for a chat and a social drink. I have shared houses with people before and still remain very good friends with them. I am respectful of other people's things and I would like the same. I don't drink much or go out much, just out here and there for outings etc. with friends for coffee, brekky dates, dinner and others. I'm also keen on a backyard barbie and a few drinks with some music. I am clean but not a clean freak but like it if we help each other out and I am understanding if you need a break. I'd like a place to call home and feel comfortable living. I work in education and I won't be working over the Christmas holidays and am applying for jobs however I will have an income over the holidays. I also am into fitness and looking for someone to either workout too or show me some areas. I am happy to help out around the house and buy my own food and so forth. I will have my own bed.

Ideally looking for own bathroom and a smaller number of roommates. If there is anything you want to know, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! :)
**I'm looking at places that are available in December so please do not message me otherwise** I'm a UQ law graduate who is working full-time. I am easygoing and enjoy some chats from time to time. As I have a busy lifestyle, I prefer time to myself to relax after work. I care a lot about maintaining a quiet household and environment. I prefer a place with more storage space, preferably a large inbuilt cupboard in my room. I also prefer for the room to be on the ground floor. I play the piano, paint and publish poems occasionally. I used to be a competitive judo player and join trainings in UQ occasionally. Other times, I enjoy yoga and a bit of stretching. I love cats but do not own one. I'm quite allergic so I prefer a place that is quite clean and free from dust. Wrt household chores, I clean as I go. I've lived with housemates who are extremely clean and I adapt well to people with different habits, so long as they are responsible and generally clean. My move-in date is flexible. I prefer to find a stable and long-term accommodation. I'd like to have rental agreements and inspections done according to RTA standards - bond to be lodged with the RTA, inspection checklist to be done upon moving in, etc.

Hello! We are Catherine and Isabel. We are both 19 years old, from Canada. We are currently in school and one of us is working full time as a receptionist. We are both very fun, outgoing girls who love meeting new people around the world. We love to go out and explore new places and make friends. We also love the beach and finding good eats! We hope to find some life long friends on this working visa and are looking forward for this experience!
Hey, I'm Matt. I will be moving back to Brisbane from the Sunny Coast. Ideally would like to be pretty central to the city, close to public transport and a supermarket. Milton/Paddington/West End area would be ideal. Somewhere I can go for a run or a ride, like the bikeway along Coro Drive. A 6 month lease or more would be great. I will be working full-time. I am very easy going, friendly and trustworthy. I'm not much for partying anymore, just the occasional beer after work and weekends. I'm not someone who will be having people over all the time, being loud and annoying you. I tend to just do my own thing and know to respect each others space. I like too cook and am reasonably tidy but not a clean freak. Someone trustworthy and similar to this would be great. I pretty much only have a my bedroom furniture, and some kitchen basics, so would be looking for someone who has the main stuff like fridge, washing machine, loungroom furniture, etc. Any questions/ideas, feel free to message me, thanks.
Half British half French I'm very open (British side) and I'm a great cook (French side)!
Super adaptive to most situations - As I work full time as an accountant, and study on the side - plus am pretty social with others, I may not always be at home a lot. But while I can be quiet and do my own thing, I also have a loud and obnoxious side. In essence, I'm pretty carefree, and would like to move in with those that are similarly carefree. Don't get me wrong, I'll respect set boundaries of privacy and cleanliness, but I definitely don't want to tip toe around my roommate and I'd like a roommate who can be comfortable enough to not tip toe around me.
Hello, we are a friendly and matured couple from Japan and Norway (29 - 31 years old). Since one of us will be graduating at the end of this year, we are looking for a clean and quiet place to live in a long term due to the expiry of current student accommodation contract. One of us is doing a first-year PhD and another is aiming to have a full-time job in Brisbane after graduation (will be applying for a TR visa). If we could rent two separate bedrooms at the same property, or a large ensuite master room where has direct bus access to the Griffith University Nathan campus, it would be ideal for us :)
Im 19 and will be attending uni later next year as well as juggling a job so ill be pretty tired and anti social during the week however the little party girl thats within might come out every now and again during the weekends / uni breaks. I am very relaxed, respectable, clean and always down for a wine/ beer.
I'm fun and bubbly and very easy to get along with. I love socialising and going out but also like staying at home some times, eating chocolate and watching Netflix. Also I am a pretty clean person, tidy up after myself and I love to cook :) i'm looking to live with someone who is easy going and wouldn't mind having a chat over dinner. I'm hoping to be good friends with my housemate. I also want someone who likes to go out and doesn't mind if some friends come over for some drinks on the weekend.
I am extremely tidy and clean person to live with. I love cooking so would appreciate a nice kitchen. I enjoy an occasional drink not a party animal but nothing wrong with a glass or two wine and music on a Friday night. I am a English woman travelling Australia currently finishing my east coast looking for somewhere to live over Christmas while working to save and then go off and do the west coast. I love healthy living exercise, good food, live for sunny days at the beach and the occasional lie in on a Sunday.
I'm a 29 year old engineering professional with a passion for fitness and the outdoors. I'm usually not home much on weekdays, as I work long hours then go to the gym. On weekends I like to relax and socialize, or maybe get out of the city. I prefer a clean modern and simple house. Must have off street parking

Hi there, I'm currently studying fashion design at TAFE until the start of December than ill be hopefully going onto study my degree early February. My hobbies and interest include things like figure skating, drawing, reading. I'm looking for a place to move to around January in the Brisbane area. Place must include all bills, including Internet due to youth allowance budget. Hi All, My name is Shaun and i've just come back from my last adventure overseas. I've decided to pack up my stuff and move to a new state and see what Brisbane has to offer. Firstly don't be scared by the fact I'm unemployed as I've quit my job to move. I'm extremely motivated and won't take long to find a job. And on top of that I have savings so I won't struggle to pay the rent in the meantime. My first profession is a qualified chef and the second being a thermit welder in the rail industry. Travel is my biggest passion having been to 5 continents and 37 countries so far. I love everything outdoors from hiking, camping, road cycling, running and so much more. Ideally I'd like my budget to be an all in price but always flexible for the right place and right housemates. As I'm driving up from Tasmania I'll have my car. So a place with Parking available is a big thing I need. If you feel like i could be your next friend and flat mate i look forward to hearing from you :)
Im a 22 year old Male who will be studying full time in Southbank. I am ex Army and consider myself extremely clean and organised. Male or Female doesnt matter aslong as we all get along well and respect each others privacy and what not while in the house. As much as ill be busy studying through the week i wouldnt turn down a few drinks and a fun night out with my housemates. Can cook also :D look forward to hearing from you !!!
Looking for: furnished room OR person/s seeking to form a share group Hi! I'm Monica. I've lived in Rockhampton for my entire 21 years of existence and making the big move to Brisbane in November. I am hoping to find some cool people to live with. I love meeting new people, to have a good time and a good laugh. I am also very respectful of mine and others' need for space and alone time. I'm all about balance. :) My hobbies include adventuring outdoors, building relationships, learning new things, reading, writing and meditating. You'll find I'm a pretty open minded person and easy to get along with. Thanks for reading!
Hi potential housies, Im a 27 yo female with an extremely intelligent, well trained, socialised, neutered and vaccinated 5.5 yo kelpie (Onyx). I've just relocated to Brisbane and I'm basically looking for a relaxed, clean and respectful sharehouse near the city. I'm not employed at the moment but I have been saving up for the move and can pay bond and rent months in advance if necessary. I can also provide rental history with glowing landlord references for both me and Onyx. I have a Bachelor of Science and a wealth of experience in hospitality and events management so I'm on the mission to get a job asap. Onyx and I have lived in many, many share houses and we are very well versed in house contribution, cleanliness, responsibilities and etiquette. I’m a non-invasive, non-smoking, self-cleaning, sober, health-driven, environmentally conscious, conversationally minded, early riser with a strong immunity to boredom, a need for compassionate empathetic individuals who value honesty and privacy and I have a massive dislike of ego's. Onyx is well travelled, with experience as a caravan park dog, a yacht dog, a hitchhiking dog, a hostel dog and a campervan dog. He's also worked in schools and nursing homes as a Emotional Support Animal and has been a staple feature of many festival work sites and circus/carnival travel routes. He’s a little legend, who pretty much goes wherever I go. Thanks for taking the time to read this :) I''m flexible on suburbs, don't get caught on the ones I've listed. If there's anything I missed, let me know!
Hi !! I've just relocated from the Gold Coast to Brisbane for work and a change of scenery. I'm an energetic and positive person, what you see is what you get with me and I hope the same from others. Despite being a very social person, I do like my home to be my private haven from all that so I'm keen to find a modern place with all the security and privacy inner city apartment living offers. Flick me a text if you would like to ask me anything further. Thanks :) Teals
Me and my partner Steve are moving to Brisbane in January. I am studying full time at the Australian National College of Beauty while working part-time and Steve will be working full time. We are from a small town in NSW, we're very laid back, we like a few quiet drinks and being outdoors. We are clean, tidy and respectful of other people. We are looking for furnished accommodation for a few months while we get settled and can find our own place. We do own a little King Charles Cavalier, Oscar - he is very quiet and laid back, sleeps a lot, doesn't bark, doesn't bite, not a vicious bone in his body. We keep his hair very short so malting isn't a major issue.
Just currently moved down from cairns and am looking for comfortable accommodation that has a furnished room for my partner and i for he has the full time job at the moment while my job is to look for a place in the Brisbane city for us to stay in so I can look for work .. We are clean and tidy and very respectful to others and always make sure our bills a paid on time we own a baby reptile in a tank which is safe and harmless we like meeting and making new friends for its a new start on life for the both us and would be very greatful to anyone that can help us cheers Chloe &James
Hey! ** not looking to share a room with anybody, only wanting a private room** My name is Shay and I am a Canadian, and I will be coming to Australia in November for a working Holiday Visa for 1 year, at the moment just want to be able to live somewhere month to month and can leave within 1 months notice. I also need to be living somewhere where I can access downtown Brisbane easily via public transit, I will have no car. I am a honest, hard working girl and am really jazzed about this new adventure. I am a very clean and organized person and need to live with people who value cleanliness. I also smoke, only outdoors and very clean about it, you probably would never even know I was a smoker. I also need to stay somewhere that is fully furnished, as i do not have any furniture and wont be investing in much. A little about myself? I love a good time as much as the next person but I also really value peace and quiet and privacy. I want to live with people like minded to myself, who enjoy their night outs but are not defined by partying every night! Please contact me if you think we would be a good fit!!
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. When sharing you need to be respectful of others. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year, first sem accounting student at QUT. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). Mia is currently 3 months old, she's a clever little monkey and wins everyone's hearts. It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Hi, I’m looking for a room in December – Early Jan I have an adopted cat Luna, who is really sweet and well behaved but indoors only I’m very clean and tidy, and would prefer a place that is well looked after, with roommates that are clean I’d live between my cottage on my dad’s property out west and Brisbane (work in the city) so basically looking for a room where I can have Luna with me and where I can go between both homes, but the majority would be in Brisvegas Overall, I’d say I’m really easy going, clean, respectful, friendly, prefer a fair bit of quiet time esp during the week but also down for a chat and glass of wine or beer or vodka haha You definitely won’t have any issues with me, and if you are clean and don’t use the place as a party house then you’d be perfect for me too! Let me know if there's anything else I need to know! Or if you have anything available, or want to team up for a property Cheers, Em
My name is Megan, I am 20 years old and I am studying nursing full time. I just finished my first year and will be starting my second in a few months. Currently looking for part time work over the summer. I do however volunteer with the ambos/paramedics occasionally on weekends. I'm a non smoker and have no pets.
Hi I am a french Canadian girl on a working holiday visa and I am planning on finding a job in Brisbane! Therefore, I am looking for a private room, somewhere near the CBD. If possible, I would be interested in staying in a complex including facilities like laundry, pool and gym. Although I will consider any flat or sharehouse without those features as well. I am a very respectful, clean and reliable person. Feel free to contact me if you think you might have the room I am looking for :) * Please note that I have no access to early bird.
Professionally employed single dad looking to share rent. I travel overseas 50-60% of the time and when I am in Australia I have twin boys who spend Fri & Sat nights with me.
I'm Bo, like to live closer to the CBD-Brisbane (new farm, spring hill, paddington, west end) got a full-time job in the city and looking for a nice place to call home to. Can be a furnished or unfurnished room and clean environment to live in I appreciate a lot. Looking to move in from the 13th November. I'm sociable person love a glass red in the week, going to the gym and going for drinks in town in my weekends. Looking to live with people as open minded as myself. Also have a car so car park/spot to park would be great.
