Funky gal with a 9-5 job and a love for plants and good tunes. Need a nice space (love a good Queenslander) with like-minded people, I am looking to change states soon so not looking for anything long term, 3 months is preferable but whatever we'll just see how it goes! PS. I am also very good with pets so if you've got any I am ready to be their cool aunt :^)
Currently wanting to either team up with someone to find a place or looking for a room to rent. I would like somewhere I can call home and feel comfortable living in! I've Just moved back to Brisbane from the Gold Coast as I am starting a new full time job at a law firm in the city. I am looking for room mates that I can eventually become friends with or at least have a good chat here and there. I'm in and out of the house as I'm either at work or with friends/family or boyfriend. When at home I like to chill out, have a few drinks, and watching Netflix. I'm super laid back and friendly so hoping future roomies are toooo. Max budget is 250 a week and am looking to move out within the next month :) Edit - around my age plz!
I am doing my PhD on marsupial brain evolution in UQ (for the next 3+ years), so I need a place to stay. I play the guitar occasionally, have a road bike but will prolly be spending most of the time in the Uni. I'm an easy-going guy with plenty of international experience (have been living in the USA, Hungary, Bulgaria, UK and for the last 10 years in the Netherlands), love having a dinner with the housemates every now and then, like board games, craft-beer and nature.
Hi future roommates! I am a 27-year-old working professional from Adelaide, and I'm moving to Brisbane because of work relocation. I'm a person who is passionate about living a healthy life and I have lots of hobbies, I love long distance running, reading and baking, and I often do workouts at gym. I currently live with my parents but we share food & bills as well as houseworks, I am a clean and tidy person. I will be working in normal office hours with busy schedule, so no time for parties at home.
I work a lot so I'm not home much, I am a neat freak and find cleaning therapeutic so you will most likely live in a very clean house. I am looking for a house that has reasonably quiet mornings as I am a night worker. I have a fluffy puppy who loves everyone and everything.... I am going through a very recent break up so only looking for something for 6months
Hello there! I guess this is where I sell myself? I'm Karmen, lovely to meet you. I'm 26, housebroken and looking for somewhere to live! I'm an interior designer, currently finishing up my honours degree at uni so I keep it rather chill during the week but love to get out and be social on weekends. I'm a relaxed, down to earth individual who loves to laugh at anything from terrible puns to dark dark humour. I like the kind of stuff all other normal people like - gigs, coffee, avocados, cats, dogs & human rights. I'm looking for a room in an inner city share house to call my own with rad down to earth people who like to hang & have a laugh but also respect each others space. If that's you - let's chat! 💃
I'm outgoing, fun and social butterfly. Love my sports and arts and crafts. Love to talk and talk on and on about topics I'm passionate about. Movie buff. Want to work for Pizza Hut or Domino's. I'm clean and tidy. Do clean up after myself. Have my own king single bed, bed side table, chest of drawers and sofa that fit a medium size room.
Hello & thanks for taking the time to read our bio. We are 2 young ladies that are visiting from the UK to work mid-term jobs around Australia and do some travelling. Kind of a 'career break' :) We are a teacher and a researcher 'by trade' but have been offered a great job in Brisbane CBD on a 12 week contract until Jan 13th and are looking for some accommodation for our stay here. Please don't think that because of our age that we are not sociable people!! We are both very friendly and easy to get on with and are respectful to other tenants and like a tidy place to live. Both liking to drink a pint at the local pubs or stay in and watch a movie with a large pizza! In our spare time we also enjoy sports and have joined sports teams over here already! Thanks! Charlotte & Jen
I'm Natalia from Barcelona, (Spain), and I would like to share an appartment with people from around the world or aussies who are very nice people and enjoyable. I'm funny, extrovert and easy-going, I don't have problems cause for me communication and respect are my main motto. I'm moving to Brisbane next month so if you are looking fo the perfect flatmate here I am ;) !!!
I'm quiet and I tend to keep to myself, but that doesn't stop me from hosting/attending board game/D&D nights on the occasion. I love to cook and that means I love a nice clean kitchen. Not a big party person as I prefer to drink a bottle of wine with friends and mock bad tv. I love animals and I don't smoke. Im in my last semester of uni this year, so I'll be full-time after thats done.
Hey! I'm Leesa, 22, currently living at the Sunshine Coast and am moving to Brisbane at the beginning of 2018 (my current lease ends on February 2nd) I would prefer to live in a house but would consider a townhouse if it has a pool! :) I am fully house trained and absolutely love living in a social household. Nothing makes me happier than coming home to a cheerful house and enjoying a drink together. I'm respectful of everyone's space and greatly appreciate a clean environment (have lived with enough slobs to realise I am in fact a tidy person, who'd have thought?!) I'm not one to be blaring music at 4 in the morning but I enjoy having friends over on the weekend and would like to live with people who do the same. I work full time, split shifts from 5-8:30am then 2:30-6pm Monday to Friday. I spend my days in the sun with my darling chihuahua, Pablo (see photo ^ of us sharing some quality banter). He's an absolute crack up and would make the perfect addition to any animal loving home. I make the most of my weekends, I enjoy going to gigs and spontaneous trips to Byron. I come with a fridge, dryer, microwave, couches, heaps of kitchen ware and 2 double mattresses (but can leave behind if not needed). I just want to live in a lively home with people who are my friends, not just my house mates. Please consider me for your home! :)
Hey, my name is Ben and I'm 22 years old. I'm studying at Griffith University undertaking a Bachelor of Economics. I'm looking for a clean, respectful household that I can rent a room in. I've lived in share houses throughout Melbourne for a few years and have some experience on that front. I'm quite tidy, and outgoing. I spend most of my time playing board games/card games with friends, training on my bike or working or studying. I'm a huge fan of anything video game related, so big props if we share interests. If you have anything available ASAP, please let me know. Thank you.
Hi I'm Sarah! I'm a twenty five year old occupational therapist who will be working full time. I'm newly returned to Brisbane and would love to find a friendly home and housemates around my age group. I'm pretty easy going and social, enjoy music, hiking and adventures and a Friday arvo beverage :)
I am 25 years old, clean, considerate, respectful and easy going. Australian, working full time and paid fortnightly Non smoker, no pets, just me and my clothes I am urgently seeking accommodation please contact me if you have a room available for 6month stay and longer. No short term as I require stability with my living arrangements. preferablly furnished with bills included, but willing to negotiate. Cheers, Liam
Respectful, professional, career-focused guy, working in the health industry. I enjoy my gym and food and loves to bake sometimes. I am currently studying and likes to keep busy. New to the area, from country area and looking for a place to stay for possibly 1 - 2 yrs. I enjoy movie nights, eating out and outdoors activities.
My name's Aziz, a 33 year old man, an Australian citizen, a Geostatistician engineer. I've been overseas for over three years and I am now coming back to Brisbane to start a new job there in Milton (I've already lived in Brisbane for 5 years). I am then looking for a new place to stay in. My airplane will land this Monday 21st of October 2017 and I'll just stay in a backpacker the time I find a suitable accommodation. I am looking for a room in a share house with one person maximum preferably but not necessarily, with minimum furniture in the room (bed and if possible with linen) and essentially unlimited broadband in the house as I need internet. I am not a guy who organize parties at home when sharing with someone else so you have nothing to worry about regarding this. My phone number but I won't be able to answer the phone until Monday when I land in Brisbane. It will be great if I can find the right place to move in next week so I avoid staying in a backpacker for long which is not very convenient for the type of work I do. Regarding myself, I am from a different background, funny, love to meet people from different ethnicities and have friends from different backgrounds. I love social activities, playing music, doing Latin dance. I love to watch live opera. I am peaceful, hate troubles, never cause troubles to people nor I like people who like to hurt me. I like to smile all the time and be surrounded by friends all the time (except during work, of course). I love travelling overseas to do hiking or to be in the nature (well, I am a Geoscientist, you can guess why).
I am new to Brisbane. I don't really know anyone here so ideally would be nice to move into a share house or apartment with people I can hang out with and have a few drinks with from time to time. I am very chilled out and easy going.
My partner and I are relocating and need a place to live short-term whilst we are househunting. We are both outgoing and friendly but also enjoy our own space and quiet time. We love exploring the outdoors and being active.
Hey there! I'm a 25 year old professional. I work full time in Brisbane. I'm relocating from the Gold Coast as the travel is getting too much. I'm pretty easing going about everything. I'm quite social but also love my alone time too. Ideally I would like to share with one other person. I'm interested in team ups too as I have a house full of furniture :)
Hello! I am a lovely, very friendly and energetic 32 year old woman, working as an event manager on lots of different projects and festivals. I love to go out, exercise, eat well and be sociable, but like to keep the place that I am living as a peaceful and very tidy space to come home to at the end of each stressful day. I would like to become friends with my future housemate, but also love space and privacy - and respect it too. I am looking for a friendly housemate who is clean and tidy and has similar interests and values as a housemate. I am willing to spend more for more space and my own bathroom etc. Thanks and hope to hear from you. Sarah
