Hi! I'm currently seeking to rent an unfurnished room close to the city, with parking (essential). Looking at a 6 month lease just in case we don't work together but would be more than happy to stay longer if we do :) I'll be starting a post graduate course at QUT (Gardens Point) in the new year so I will be partly studying and working. I'm looking to move in with people who are around a similar age to me, students or not but no couples, sorry! As a roommate I enjoy a balance between having my own time and also getting to know my roommates, over drinks, movie nights etc :) *I can also provide unlimited internet if needed
Im from Thailand and looking for an accomodation that near to my school(TAFE Brisbane) i can share bahtroom and kitchen with other people but i need private bedroom. If you looking for new mate or if you have any room for me please contact me. 😄
Hi guys I work full time in the valley. I’m quite a socialble guy, I don’t mind having a chat but still can respect your space also. I’m into sports (mainly basketball), beach and video games. My ideal roommate would have to be tidy and respectful of privacy. I’m looking to move out ASAP so feel free to flick me a message.
Hey there, I'm currently studying at UQ while working part-time and am looking to move in with a bunch of friendly 20-somethings around the end of January/beginning of February. Very easy to live with! I'm a clean and tidy type of person. I also love to bake - so if you like brownies you're in for a treat!
Outgoing down to earth English guy with a 9 month old house trained puppy! Work full time and go to the boxing gym after work most nights, out and about on the weekends exploring, hiking or going to the beach! Clean & tidy.
I'm Tim, 34, work two jobs for a national transport company (shift work) and for myself in the share market. I am clean, tidy, friendly and outgoing, like going to bars and restaurants, beach, sports and the outdoors. Looking for my own room in a share house, which is fully furnished, and off street parking. Also looking to live in a place that can respect that I'm a shift worker.
I’m a kiwi professional and although I’ve only been in Brisbane 6months on this occasion l, I have spent half of my working life in NZ and half here in ozi, so not too fresh off the boat. I’m reliable, tidy, cruisey and fun. Not a huge morning person although I tend to be up around 6 during the week - I do love my weekend sleep ins if not off on adventures. Always up for arvo drinks in the sun, love the outdoors, often get to live gigs, love trying new bars or restaurants & would be great to have a flatty who wants to do this stuff now and again (I find it weird not being mates with those I live with). Although I do my own thing for meals most of the time, happy to discuss sharing half the time and I can cook pretty good meals. I have a sega - sonic the hedgehog and Alex the kid are great fun if feeling a little seedy (as too is Netflix) I enjoy rugby and a bit of league and am a bit of a fan of cricket also... I like to think I’m funny, I’m probably just really inappropriate and awkward though...lol Looking for a tidy place with a good location or view, preferably with aircon and with cruisey people who keep it positive. Specifically looking in Spring Hill, New Farm & Kangaroo Point (I did enter that but it seems it didn’t show on this ad sorry) If this sounds like you - touch base
My Name is Julian, I'm 26 years old and I'm studying psychology at the University of Wuppertal, Germany. From March to August 2018 I'll be in Newcastle for an internship at the Priority Centre for Brain & Mental Health Research at the University of Newcastle. Since I'm not fan of facebook, I don't have an account there but try describe myself here a little bit. I've allready lived in some flat-sharing communites in several cities (Regensburg, Berlin, Halle, Wuppertal, Rostock) in Germany from a two-people flat up to four. I think I'm not that complicated as a flatmate (but who doesn't think that of him- or herself? ;) ), until today all problems could be solved with some talk about it. I really like to live with people, it gets me a warm feeling to come to my place and there is the possibility to meet some of my flatmates who is telling me about her or his day. I think this is because I come from a family with five people. Also I really like to discover new things, places, sports, interests, music, stage plays or something else. Just staying curious. I like doing some stuff together in a group like cooking, sports (jogging e.g.), playing card- or board games (of which I could bring some) or watching a movie. Likewise I can leave everybody the space that is needed and I'm also happy to have some my place of retreat sometimes. The precise working times of my internship aren't clarified till now but as my supervisor mentioned I won't have to work too much. Because I'm not a native english speaker (but everytime happy to learn something new :) ), just ask if there are any unclear passages in my text. I'm looking forward to get in touch with you soon :) Best regards, Julian

Hi I'm Bartosz (25) currently studying environmental engineering at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. In march I will fly to Brisbane Australia to conduct my master's thesis (7 months) at the University of Queensland. I am looking for a relatively centrally located shared flat with easy going and relaxed people who like to hang out and do something together from time to time. In my free time I enjoy skateboarding, hanging out with friends, going for a beer, photography, nature, city trips and many other things. I would describe myself as uncomplicated and easy going. Should you consider me as your future flat mate I would be happy to have a chat on skype.
Hi, The lease on my current apartment has ended and i'm jumping at the opportunity to live with some interesting new people and make my commute to work a little easier. I work as a designer at a local garment printer four days a week and fit in some photography work on the side for an online journal. I'm interested in living with professional creatives, but I would honestly enjoy living with people who are productive and passionate about whatever they're doing in life. I like to keep a clean communal area (which shouldn't even have to be said) though my own space will fluctuate from cluttered to ocd clean. I spend most of my weekends with my girlfriend and/or catching up with friends. In my downtime I read, take photographs, take care of my plants, play games or draw. - Patrick
I currently live in Medowie and am looking to move into the Newcastle area and live with some great people. I am very friendly and respectful - looking to live with like-minded people. I work Mon-Fri and don't mind a cold bevy on the weekend as well as some downtime. I am very easy going and appreciate cleanliness.
We're both just super chill people who love meeting new people and cracking the occasional cold one at the end of the day. We both travel to the Sunshine Coast often for work and family. Abbie: Often out and about with sports and gym as well as going back to the coast every week. Studying International Relations full time at Griffith. Hoping to make some new friends and have someone to yell about the origin with! Jack: Just a quiet bloke who's always down for a beer (nothing too rowdy though). Studying Commerce, also at Griffith. Keen to bond over cricket and footy with some good people. note: we're just mates not a couple so would need two rooms
Hey! I'm super chill and am looking for not just a housemate - but friends! Love to cook, drink, hangout and basically have good times. I'm a uni student and work in hospitality, so preferably looking for people with similar schedules so that we don't give eachother too much hassle during the semester. Find me on Facebook if you're unable to message me here xx
I'm a full-time academic with Charles Sturt Uni and I'm also completing my PhD with QUT. I work and write from home and am prepared to cover additional costs associated with that. NBN is a requirement and a deal breaker if it's not available at your address. My partner visits overnight once a fortnight and brings our happy & friendly little dog for a sleepover. About me: I'm trustworthy and thoughtful. While I love a coffee/tea & a good yarn, I'm very independent. I will respect your space and expect you do mine. Around the house I'm clean and tidy and when things are fair and respectful I'm a very happy soul. When I'm not working, writing or reading, then I'll be walking, yoga stretching, thinking in the garden, sharing food with friends or watching a B grade movie. If you see a fit with your share house or apartment, please text my mobile or message me on flatmates. Cheers Susan
I hate writing things about myself, but facts are always good. 1. I got a rock stuck in my head once by riding my bike with my eyes closed 2. Sometimes I purposely mix up incompetent and incontinent because I think I'm hilarious 3. Kinda pretty passionate about human/animal rights, Australian music and plants. From Brisbane, just sussing out all of my options as I'm looking to move to Newcastle for study and am not particularly fond of paying for a whole place by myself just yet. I have two cats, Toilet Water and Pudge, they're weird. September is a ball park date, I'm studying secondary teaching in Brisbane this year and am just taking things as they come. Majoring in English and minoring in Philosophy if all goes to plan. Endless existential conversations are lovely.
Hello! ** [LOOKING FOR PET FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATION - INSIDE ONLY DESEXED CAT] ** Mt Gravatt/Southbank/Nathan/Wishart/Mansfield Area Studying at Griffith University Nathan & Southbank. -- I'm a friendly student who typically keeps quiet and tidy. I usually enjoy keeping to myself, and out of the way; (usually very busy with study) but I do enjoy artwork (I do digital artwork, and traditional media) as well as movies, gaming and other relaxing hobbies. ** I do have a little ginger cat, Maia, who I would want to have living with me. He is a lovely desexed, vaccinated & microchipped boy with a good nature. Whilst he is playful (and very entertaining), he is not destructive and typically sleeps when left alone. I'm from rural NSW, but have lived in Brisbane throughout 2017- and now I am needing a place to rent again for my second year of studies. I am currently studying a doubledegree of Design and Business at Griffith University. (Both Southbank and Nathan campuses). If you are looking for a non-intrusive, quiet housemate/flatmate, I am perfect! But I am not beyond friendly conversation, movie nights or anything of the like! As I have been struck with plans falling through, I am now desperately searching for somewhere to stay. I am a full-time student, so I am currently unemployed; but I receive youth allowance via Centrelink and have been dedicated with rental payments as of last year. I can provide a reference of my previous landlord to assure this. :)
We are an exercise physiologist/lawyer couple who are looking for some fun people to live with. We're searching for a clean/tidy home that is fairly quiet during the work-week. We are both sporty, outgoing people who love live music, red wine and being outdoors. We sadly have to leave our beautiful West End home because the house is being sold, but we would love to stay in the area.
Im a very open, funny person visiting Oz for one year. I like to have a good talk as much as listening to music alone and let my creativity flow. My english skills in speech are also okay i think, but i need to learn speaking it more.
We are a french couple, working full time in hospitality. We are tidy, easygoing and quiet. We like to cook, being outdoor and enjoying a drink to relax after work. We are looking for a place to stay between 6 weeks and 2 months. Cheers.
