My friend Dana and I are looking to move out with some more people in early February to save some money and meet some great people. So a little bit about us... I'm a recent journalism and PR graduate, currently work casual in Milton while gaining some more experience in PR. Dana studies exercise physiology and works two jobs in the CBD in retail and food services so she's a trooper. We both enjoy drinks on the weekend or just after a long day, nachos (or any mexican food really) and kicking back with some Netflix. We're looking for a house close to the city with nearby public transport and a supermarket. Our search has been mostly Newmarket, Kelvin Grove and Alderley. If you're interested send me a message and we'd be happy to meet up :)
Ill be moving to Brisbane for my postgrad in UQ in Feb 13. Hi there, I'm Ness! I'm looking for a place while I continue (the seemingly never ending journey) of saving for a house deposit. And no, I will not sacrifice smashed avo. I'm single and have a pretty good balance in life. I'm housemate trained after share housing for a decade or so, including basics such as: - keeping communal areas tidy - 'clean as you go' kitchen habits - pushing a vacuum cleaner and other weekly chores - replacing toilet paper and other household items - Netflix binging - kicking back and having a chat with a drink in hand or over dinner - respecting/ giving you space I highly value staying active, healthy and happy, which means I'm busy during the weekdays with: - exercising (boxing, running, gym, indoor soccer, walking, or other) - working full time in health and community care (which also requires occasional travel) - spending time with mates (usually out of the house) Weekends are for adventures, events, and sometimes relaxing. Things I'd like to do at any time? - travel. I just got back from trekking to base camp Everest which (probably needless to say) was incredible. Diving somewhere is happening for the Easter break... - eat. I love eating, particularly anything fresh, or on a brunch menu, but I certainly don't discriminate. - spend my time outdoors doing everything and anything. - spend time with animals- I've done volunteering in this space before and if you have a pet I'll love it like my own! I'm looking to move to a place: - preferably early-mid Feb - for 6 months or more - with max 3 housemates - unfurnished bedroom - with carpark (on street parking is fine) - close to the city (walking distance preferably) I'd be looking for housemate(s) who are positive, enjoy wit, predominantly sociable, and enjoy what they do. Anything else you want to know? Feel free to message me!
I'm moving Brisbane to start postgrad study in psychology at UQ. From Melbourne (with the coffee addiction to match) and have been living in London for 2 years, working as a teaching assistant. Looking for a place with cool housemates to hang out with occasionally. When at home I love a good netflix marathon, a bit of a chat and a few drinks every now and then! Since I'm new to Brisbane, it would be great to find people to explore the city and surrounds with. I'm flexible with move in dates, I can meet and view from January 29 and can move in any time after that.
Looking for a place to live when semester starts again around late Feb. Studying business full-time at UQ and also working on a few business ideas of my own. I'm very outgoing, friendly and considerate, having lived all over the world. I'm a bit of a fitness freak and a nerd all at once.

In my spare time I like going to the movies, playing guitar and video games. I have a car so would need somewhere to park. I do smoke which I hope isn't an issue. I'm happy to do it on the deck or even off the property if you insist. I'm usually a pretty chilled out guy but occasionally like to have a few drinks but I'm not a mess. I'm tidy and appreciate a clean kitchen. Any more you'd like to know just ask

*(I will only be able to do viewings from 9 Feb onwards).* Hey, I'm Kai! I'm a 22 y.o. from Singapore who is going to study in QUT for 2+ years in 2017 and so I am searching for a place to call home in Brisbane. :) I'm friendly, open and laid-back so I'm easy to make friends with and hangout. :) Some days I like to have a quiet evening by myself and other days I'll be down to hang . I will respect your personal space and hope you do the same for me as well! I have done an okay amount of travelling, mostly by myself staying in hostels and so I have no problems with socialising and sharing (although I'm looking for a room all to myself). I am a responsible, clean and tidy individual so you don't have to worry about dishes left in the sink uncleaned or toothpaste smeared on the basin. I like the outdoorsy stuff especially surfing (I'm a beginner and am hoping to surf more!); video games are also my thing and I'm trying to learn the guitar. If not, I'll just be chilling. 8) Looking forward to meeting you!
I'm a new full-time student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017. I will be studying Environmental Management. I was studying in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before. I'm the one wearing the purple/pink sweater in the picture. If you can't pronounce my name, don't worry, almost no one can at first, just call me Abhi! I'm super tidy and clean (won't mind if it's not), and pretty good at cooking too. Easy going, and always ready to help a friend. I am respectful towards everyone and will give you your privacy. I like my down time to focus and study. Doesn't mean I don't like to chill out or have fun. Always down to watch a movie or binge watch a tv show. I love going out and playing sports. I play football (Soccer), badminton and Quidditch (no, i'm not kidding, it's a pretty physical sport!), and good at picking up other ones too. Love spontaneous adventures and ready to walk/hike any-and-everywhere. I would love to live with any of you amazing people out there, so if you have a room to offer or are looking to team up, hit me up! :D Cheers, Abhi
I'm very social (but know how to respect boundaries and personal space) and would love to develop a good relationship with any flatmates! I think of myself as quite easy going, and I love exercise, but I think the main factor here is that I AM VERY CLEAN. Working well together is a major plus. As someone who is a recent high school graduate and is moving out for the first time, I know this is a completely new way of life for me and am willing to adapt too.

We want to find someone who is likeminded and has a similar lifestyle to us. We are both very clean and tidy. We have healthy, active lifestyles and are both busy most of the week. We don't want someone who parties all the time, but we love to have a glass of wine or two over the weekend to wind down. We would love to hear from you!

Hi! My friend Alex and I are moving to Brisbane in February and are looking for a place to stay for our first month in the city. (If we like the place we're more than open to extending our stay as we'll be staying in Brisbane for a while.) Alex and I have been friends for almost 10 years - ever since we shared a room together in Greece during a summer when we worked as bartenders in one of the local clubs on Kos island! A lot has happened since then though, and today I'm an IT consultant at a web agency in Stockholm and Alex has a degree in engineering. I will keep working at my job remotely during my stay in Brisbane, so I'll be spending most of my evenings on my laptop communicating with Sweden, and therefore highly value a good internet connection! We both love to meet new people and hang out and socialise and we're looking forward to introducing Australia to the Swedish concept of "fika". We are also fun, caring and respectful individuals and we are looking to move in on the 3rd Feb. XX
In February I'm going to be moving across from Scotland with a friend to start working in healthcare in Brisbane for at least a year. Ideally would be looking for somewhere in the centre or southside of Brisbane, the closer to the river the better! I love cooking and baking, try to balance it with the occasional fun run, pretty tidy and happy to share a bottle of wine whilst we catch up at the end of the day! We're going to have a very variable rota, including night shifts and evening shifts, so there will be days we naturally have to sleep or be up at odd hours- I'll be quiet and considerate and would be looking for similar flat mates. With those long hours, I'm not a big party goer, but still love to be social and relax after work and on my days off. Hope to find someone similar soon!
Hey I'm Lorrin. I just graduated high school and am hopefully moving to Brisbane for uni (UQ). I'm pretty easy-going and a little goofy, I keep to myself but I'm sociable and get along with pretty much anybody. I can take care of myself; cleaning, washing, household duties which is pretty good for someone in my generation. I am respectful and appreciate respect in return. I'm down with fun and games and can have a good time. Even though I'm out of work, I will be looking for a job in Brisbane ASAP, that being said I can still afford 150-170$/week. I'm super keen to live in Brisbane and hope I can find some good people.

I am looking for a private room furnished with a bed, a study desk, a chair and wardrobe for myself in a clean and tidy apartment or house, hopefully it is not too far away from my campus (maximum 30 minutes by bus) as I do not have a car. I will also need a lot of quiet space for my study, no party house please. I have a strong faith in Christianity, my living lifestyle is very healthy and I do not like parties and drinking. I am currently not in Australia and will check the room in mid- February.
