My name is Jessica , I'm 37 yo, I'm from Chile. I was living in Melbourne for 6 months and now I am moving to Brisbane for 6 more months. I would like to share a house or apartment with people who speak in english in order to improve my skills. I will be studying half day and working the other half but there is always time for a good chat! Thank you! Jessica
Hi! I am a third-year psychology student at UQ also working part-time ~5 days a week at Baker's Delight (can provide you with heaps of free bread). I love cooking, makeup and going to the gym on my days off. Having a clean house and friendly housemates is really important to me. I am easy going, very friendly and respect personal space. I am quiet and will bring no hassles with me.
I am an international PhD student that will be moving to the Brisbane area in mid-August for 8-12 months. I love to do anything outdoors like hiking, camping, and especially rock climbing. I am an early bird, very clean, pet friendly, and prefer to live with non-smokers. While doing fieldwork, I'll be in and out of the house at weird hours (sometimes leaving at 2-3am) and going to bed super early. Ideally, I'd like to live with other graduate students or young professionals.
We are a couple hailing from Brisbane & New Zealand which have been living together for a year. We love to travel, explore new cafes/restaurants and enjoy hanging out at the beach & doing the occasional hike. Our passions are drawing, painting, reading & writing. We love to keep fit and healthy & enjoy making new connections & finding new experiences. We both work full time and are out most likely more than we are at home. We have a kitten named Sophie who’s as sweet as pie and is more than happy to do her own thing. Collectively, we are looking for a relaxed household and aren’t fussed who we share with be either a couple or single, just people who can respect each others space and environment. Damin is a Non-smoker and Summer is an occasional smoker. Both of us have been in share houses before but looking for somewhere fresh :)
A full time hotel worker that only works nights and sleeps during the day. I am respectful to others and i dont like party houses. Easiest guy to be around with and will hangout on my days off. Cheers
I’m friendly, social and tidy guy who respect rules of the house. I’m working two different restaurants at the moment, normally around 38 hours. On sparetime I love to hang out with my friends, party sometimes, go gym and bushwalking, practice my English skills and get new experiences! Haha I don’t mind to just chill at home and watch some movies sometimes also! - I’ve been living in Aus last 14 months- mostly in Brisbane. ATM im spending 7 weeks holiday in my home country Finland. I’m coming back to Brisbane by using second work&holiday visa middle of September. - so now it’s time to find new home!
I am 33 year old straight male, working in a professional firm. I have been working in London till now and will be moving to Brisbane shortly. I have been sharing my house earlier so I am comfortable with how it works. I am neat and keep my space tidy. Feel free to ping me if you need more information.
I’m outgoing and friendly. Usually quite quiet, will not make too much noise. I am clean and tidy, will not leave mess at all. I am learning more about cooking so can learn new recipes! I am also a university student, so I may not be around home often.
Im new to Brisbane and currently studying business/communications while working part time! Im a super clean person and respectful of peoples personal space & property. In my spare time I love to cook, travel or just relax. Ideally I would like to live with people who are fun, easy going and love to socialise wether thats grabbing a few drinks or going out for breakfast - basically someone I can become friends with rather than just someone to live with. I am open to living in any suburb as long as its not far away from the city. I don't have a date that I need to be out of my current place and Im not in a rush either so ignore the moving date.
I am very easy going, Im fun and friendly, but also keep to myself. I keep an active social life and like to go out lots during the day. Vegan, so my cooking is plain and I can keep a kitchen clean.

I'm Huy, 24 y/o male from Denmark and performing an intense 1-year project within the natural sciences at UQ starting from August. I'm a very social, extrovert and easy-going person. I have lived with a couple, another family and my brother in the past so I have experience being a roommate. My financial situation is very stable, so paying rent on time is not an issue :) My hobbies include working out, reading and tons of Netflix. I will spend much time at the university and I would prefer a home with only minimal partying at night. I don't mind living in a home with pets.
My partner and I are looking to move in together. We are currently in a long distance relationship (4 hours) and are looking to move to Brisbane. We have been together for 2.5 years. I am a uni student and he’s a manager at KFC (in our hometown). He’s quiet and friendly and I’m bubbly, easy going and self-motivated. Together we are organised, tidy and civilised. Jordan still lives at home but I have been living independently for 18 months. Ideally we are looking for someone who can gel with us and are comfortable with our schedules and our possibly partially independent lifestyles.
I always pay my bills and rent on time! If anything makes me tick it’s noise when I’m trying to sleep. I am very sociable and hang out with friends often, I can entertain myself, I like dinners/movies/dancing/walking/gym etc friendly, happy, outgoing and fun. Pretty simple really! Easily pleased just hate noisey houses and neighbours :) Don’t mind sharing with More thann one other person as long as we are not all sharing one bathroom! Feel free to get a reference from a chick I lived with in WA. I lived in her home owned apartment for over 2 years and I’m pretty sure she will have nice things to say :)
I'm getting my masters in Health Management at QUT. Moved to Australia from the United States last semester, but I'm originally from the Middle East. I'm very clean, reliable, easy going and would like to share housing with other clean chill people. If I'm not studying, I enjoy going to the gym, discovering new places, skating, or playing video games.
G'day guys, I'm a 31 year old single Australian non-smoker, working full-time in the digital team at Flight Centre. When I'm not destroying my liver at work's rooftop bar, I spend most of my weekends out and about exploring what nature has to offer! Love surfing, camping, and generally anything that'll add a glow to my English inherited skin tone. That said, the odd TV series binge isn't out of the question. Down? Most people would describe me as very cruisey, and always up for a laugh. My humour would be best described as a mix between The Betoota Advocate and Happy Gilmore. Should also probably mention that I'm a tragic Broncos fan and I cried after the 2015 grand final. Cheers, Matt
I’m very easy going South African looking to move into a welcoming place. Really enjoy the ocean, surfing and being active. Social beers on weekends and BBQ's. Work a 2 week on and one week off FIFO shift so won’t really be there most of the time.
Hey I'm Dana (Australian), myself and my partner, Christian (Japanese/Australian), are looking to move from Cairns to Brisbane sometime in September-October. We are moving down because I have enrolled into Uni for February 2019, I enrolled into SAE institute to study Film. I would love to live with students from the same university or people who have interests in art, music, acting, games, anime, film, television and media. We both play video games, my partner plays online with his friends and tends to get a bit excited. He may get loud, if he does just let us know. We're polite and friendly, we don't know anyone in Brisbane so we're keen on meeting new people. We are relatively organised and are clean and tidy. I have my own car but will most likely use public transport as it'll probably be cheaper with these rising fuel prices lol. But if there is a place for me to park it that would be ideal. I'm not too sure whether we'd be able to meet up to look at properties since we're in Cairns, but I'm sure we'll figure something out when that time comes! We do need at least 4 weeks notice before we move out, for the current share house we are staying at.
Hey everyone! I am currently working fulltime, and am wanting to move out of my place that I’m in at the moment. I've been a dancer since I was 5, so when I'm not working I like to spend my free time at a dance class, spin class, gym or cooking. Always up Netflix, wine, coffee, chilled dinner dates. I believe I am laid back, very considerate person of those around me, supportive, friendly and approachable, as I am always happy to chat with others about life if needed. Would prefer to live with all females if possible. I always clean up after myself, know how to keep a place tidy, pay bills on time, always up for a few drinks. I look forward to hearing from some of you :)
