Hi! I’m Finn – 26 years old and from London. I was in Australia at the beginning of the year on my working holiday visa where I managed to complete my farm work on a citrus farm, I then went back to the UK to work the summer festival season where I sell Mexican food, and about a week ago I arrived back in Australia to enjoy the rest of my visa time here. I am currently living in my campervan, but I have decided to sell my van and enjoy the city life while earning some good money, so my plan is to live and work in Brisbane where I can do all these things side by side (and enjoy the sunshine!). As I’m selling my van I need somewhere more stable to live (which I am looking forward to as I have been living out of a bag for far too long now). I’m clean and tidy. I love cooking, meditation, listening to podcasts, climbing trees, music, having adventures and messing around. My favourite thing about flat shares is hanging out in the kitchen while people cook and talking about the mysteries of life. I somehow scored a job already, I start this week painting rooftops (or something like this, I will have to see how it is and what I actually have to do when I start). So money and paying rent will not be a problem. I plan to stay in Brisbane for the foreseeable future, at least a few months and probably more. As I had a lot of crazy fun at the UK festivals during the last months I feel ready to just get my head down into a routine of working and post-work relaxing, with much less partying and drinking – although I am not opposed to others’ wants and needs for these things, and I may partake on the odd occasion ;). Finn x
Hey, I'm Amber! I'm currently in my 2nd year of my 3 year degree (Fashion), super easy to get along with and tidy. I'm looking for either a room in an existing share house or some like-minded people to sign a lease. My current lease doesn't end until the 28th of January and I'll be studying overseas for 3 weeks within January, so move in day would have to be after I return. So if you're interested in living with a fun and laid back chick, who can cook some bloody good food, swing me a message :)
Hey I'm Andrew from Canada. I'm coming to Australia on a working holiday visa and I'm looking for a roommate (or a few) to find a place together! I'm really clean and easy to live with. Looking for people who are sociable and enjoy going out for a drink and having a good time! I'm into most sports and have a big passion for golf and snowboarding. My move date is start of November, and I would like to find something relatively soon. Shoot me a message or let me know if you are renting a place. Cheers
I’m clean and quiet, I can be very shy sometimes but if you give me some confidence I will be the best housemate. I don’t spend too much time at home, I love spending time outside I’m from Spain and I came here to Australia to live a new experience and grow up
I am wanting to move from Toowoomba to Brisbane (CLOSE TO CITY MAX 15 MINS AWAY) in upcoming weeks. I am currently working in Real Estate and am looking towards either staying in this industry or moving onto Marketing. I am outgoing, clean and respectful. Love a good banter but also respect privacy. :) The 1st of October would be ideal but honestly open to earlier! Looking to live with only females. Not fussed on length of stay! **I have 2 cats BUT if it is too hard to get a place with them I will be moving on my own for awhile until I find my feet then moving to a place suited for them. They are both female, friendly & house trained. I will take full responsibility for them.
Hello! I'm moving to Brisbane early 2019 and would ideally like a home to rent close to South Brisbane. I'm a graduate, but will be studying and working part-time. Thanks in advance~
Hey! Shae (24, my current roommate, and I (Tara, 33) are looking to team up with some like-minded people who are wanting to save money on rent by moving into a larger house (3-5 bedrooms). Our rental searches have shown some beautiful properties in inner city Brisbane for approximately $200-$250 per person. We currently live in a 2-bedroom apartment so we have furniture that is relatively modern and recently purchased that would sufficiently furnish some communal areas of a larger property (lounge, coffee table, TV cabinet, fridge, washing machine etc as well as a fully stocked kitchen!). Obviously, by moving into a larger house additional items can be accommodated. A bit about us: We both usually keep busy during the week with work and gym but enjoy a wine or two on the weekend. We like to have a catch up together but also keep busy with our own things. We are looking for people that would also be keen to hang out and socialise from time to time :)
Hi, I'm Courtney, 24 yr old female. I work part time in medical admin and am a few months shy of completing my Bachelor of Nursing. I am quite an active and outgoing person, who is also respectful of others. I'm looking to live with similar aged people, who are relatively social and easy going 😊.
Hi, I'm Josh, 28, moved down from the Sunshine Coast for work. Very easy going, tidy and quiet. I mostly keep to myself but I do like to chat and drink occasionally. Not into the party scene. I work in Telecommunications and on my days off I like to watch TV and spend time on my computer. I enjoy cooking. I don't have any pets but do like animals.
I am 26 and working I’m sales and marketing. I work long days so out of the house a lot. In my free time I like to socialise with friends and just enjoy life really. I have come here from the UK and looking to settle in a nice place in or near the city so I commute to work. I am also looking for somewhere that has a gym/swimming pool as I don’t get lot of free time after work so to have a gym on my doorstep would be ideal.
Hi! I'm super friendly and easy going. I've lived in share houses for some years now (and it can definitely be seen as a skill), which means I know how to live peacefully with other people. I live quite a "wholesome" life: with the right balance of work, excercise, coffee, pizza and wine. Which I am very happy to share the three latter with others. I'm a nonsmoker and don't drink in excess. So no raging house parties from me (however, I will not object if that's what your into on the occasion). I'm currently in Vietnam and won't be back until the 6/7th of October. So I'm more than happy to do a Skype chat to meet the house mates etc! :)
Hey people! I am an international student looking for a single room. I am studying ICT full-time at the University and also working part-time. I am mostly a quiet person who loves sports and nature. My passions are extreme sports and outdoors in general. If you are skydiving, climbing, kitesurfing or doing any other fun sport, I am sure we can do something together :) I also like to occasionally watch some TV series and socialize with friends. If you have anything for me, please call me or hit that message button! Sebastian
I'm an Aussie moving back home after finishing my college art diploma in the UK. I'm looking to start tertiary design studies at QUT next year and looking for a fun and relaxed share house long term. I'm very laid back, handy around the house, love all animals and make friends with people easily. I know how to be tidy and respectful but I'd also love a social house where we can relax and enjoy a few drinks together every now and then. Shoot me a message if it sounds like i'd be a good fit for your household!
Hi! I´m Ana, a spanish engineer studying a VET course and working in Brisbane for 15 months. I´m 32 years old, I'm friendly, tidy, clean and respectful. I would like to find a private room in a non-party share house in South Brisbane, New Fram or Teneriffe. I like to have my own space from time to time but socialize with house mates too, have a beer, talk about whatever, ... Don't hesitate if any question, I´m looking forward to know about you!
Hi! I am easy going, tidy, friendly, independent but I also enjoy spending time with the people I live with. I take great care of the place I live in and like to call it a "proper home". I am fair and respectful, and fun to be around. Anyone with a sense of humour will make my day. I work as a graphic designer and illustrator. I work from a co-working space, but I would also like to have the possibility to work from home some evenings, sometimes on the weekends if I need, and the occasional day here and there. I need to have enough space to set up a desk somewhere; could be in my room if it's big enough, or elsewhere quiet, I don't mind. One more thing... I have a cat. He is friendly, sweet, clean, has never damaged or destroyed anything. Everyone who met him has fallen in love. True fact.
Hey, My name is Daylan, I am 24 and work in sales for an IT company in the CBD. Spare time consists of playing basketball, attending festivals/gigs, playing xbox and hanging out with friends. Looking for like minded people to live with who are relaxed and enjoy socialising but can also do their own thing. Prefer to live close enough to the city to either walk or catch a ferry to work. Will be in Japan/Melbourne 7-22 October and my lease ends Nov 1st so my window of moving time is very narrow. Would also like to live somewhere where pets are considered as I would love to get a dog in the near future but is not a deal breaker. Let me know if you have any questions about me or think your place would be suitable for me! Thanks Daylan
Hi! :) I am currently studying a trimester here in Brisbane. I've decided to stay here further to write my master thesis. I will be travelling around Australia in all of november, and need a new place to stay from around 1. December. I highly prefer a place with walking or cycling distance to Brisbane City/South Bank I am not sure exactly when I am going back to Norway, but it will be around May-june. Some flexibility around the contact lenght will be appriciated.
