Looking for a room to rent ( must be big enough to fit a king bed! ) in south Brisbane, teneriffe, newstead, newfarm area, own bathroom preferred, car park needed. I work as a Broker mon – fri, financially secure and rent/bills is never an issue. I don’t party, I don’t mind a quiet drink after work with dinner. I am very clean and respectful of my housemates. Not the kind to leave dirty dishes in the sink :P I'm always happy and positive, enjoy spending time with my housemates! Weekends, I enjoy getting out of the house and going on some spontaneous adventure. Once I find somewhere Urgently as my property fell through :(
About me: I'm 23yo, currently woking in government in the CBD. I enjoy cooking, music, cycling and the out doors. I'm looking for a room in share house, preferrably with a few others. Always up for a cup of tea or shared meal, but can also keep to myself. I am not a smoker, and I keep quite regular hours. Looking forward to meeting you, Joe
Looking for a peaceful place to call home. About us: We enjoy cooking healthily with fresh produce, going to markets and exercising. Hanna works full-time FIFO in mental health. Sharna works full-time as a Remedial Massage Therapist. We are a couple who try to be environmentally conscious and we love animals. The Dream: Living close to the water, public transport and local parks. Being in a social house of people with similar interests. Would love to have a spare/shared room for recreational activities and study (craft, art, painting, and potentially for S to set up a massage room). We would love to get a dog if there is a yard, or would be very happy to live with your dog! Necessary: LGBTI+ friendly. Own ensuite. Large bedroom. Spacious full-functional kitchen and inviting living areas. House with large fridge and washing machine. Unfortunately Hanna is very allergic to cats. Open to signing a lease, living in an independent house, joining an established share house, or creating our own share house. We have one car, bedroom furniture, and own linen and kitchen things (no large appliances). We don't drink often and are non-smokers.
Easy going , quite tidy, gym, enjoy some chat and some private space. I enjoy cooking and don’t mind to share with others!! Definitely up for Netflix sessions and snacks. Looking for a room / apt share, ** my partner is an Australian and is currently studying in Gold Coast, he will be staying with me at weekends, he will be putting some money towards utilities when he stays**
I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and responsible and ideally looking for social housemates as I don't know anyone in Brisbane other than work people. I am fun, outgoing and love to get out and about. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. Paying my rent on time each week is no problem at all but I have limited savings so cant afford to pay 4 weeks rent as a bond but could do 2 weeks bond. Looking to live with people that are chilled like myself and able to look after themselves and don't mind a drink at the pub occasionally. Would prefer not to live with students, unemployed, couples and definitely no crazy cat ladies thanks! I am ideally after a room with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe where I don't have to pay to park my car outside the house but can be flexible for the right place and right flatmates.
###Not moving until around February 2019### So when I told my current landlord/housemate I wanted to move out her response was "What?! No! You can't move out! You're so clean, easy to live with and you do lot's of housework. Not to mention you're the funniest one in the house, please don't! How will we cope?!"** **May not have actually been said. Hey there! I'm Alex (wearing the bow tie... and I've got a beard now!). I'm looking to move to Brisbane for work, though I won't be moving until I have work, hopefully early 2019. I'd love to live close to the city, so anywhere in that area. I'll be new to the area so I'm hoping this move will allow me to meet new friends, not just housemates! I’m happy to share with guys and girls, just after like-minded and respectful people. I'll be starting a degree in 2019 (part time) so good internet will be key (Though lets be honest, it's Australia so I'll likely just give up and switch to my phone's 4G). I love all types of sport and fitness, I enjoy a drink, going out for food and live music! I've lived in share houses before so I know how to respect privacy and contribute to the house. I look forward to hearing from you and happy to provide any references or any other info you're after. Thanks, Alex
Grew up in Brisbane, did the whole travelling thing, recently accepted a job back in Brisbane city :) looking for a household with flat mates in their mid 20s to early 30s. Don’t need a car park. Don’t mind animals, and, maybe wishful thinking, a place with a pool. Easy going, conscientious, sociable yet respectful. Enjoy a bit of cycling on my days off.
I’m independent and respect that everyone needs their own privacy. But other than that I am friendly, bubbly and easy to get along with. I will be at uni most of the time and not around on weekends, looking for a place to rest my head and cook food more than anything :)
I am Australian and very easy to get along with. My interests include music, films, books, art, history and food. I consider myself a reserved and quiet person, however I am friendly and I love to get together with friends to hang out. I am clean and respectable of other people’s property.
Danish girl, down to earth. Currently working as a waitress in riverside restaurant. Love quality food and drinks (comes with the occupation). Like to keep clean and tidy. If you have any questions feel free to ask
Hi there folks! I’m an architecture student (nearly fin) / assorted hobbyist / part-time employee, hoping to find a room within the West End area. Between study and work I have quite an action-packed schedule although, I try to stay fairly active with thanks to my local gym membership, the odd film, weekend adventure or spontaneous social beer outing and I'm always down for a good conversation. I have no issue adapting to most household dynamics and more than willing to go that little extra mile to ensure everyone is happy. Hoping to find a place with some respectful, sociable and likeminded individuals. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask as I am more than happy to answer. Look forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards, Jake
We are a New Zealand and a Brazilian couple looking to move into a new place together. I (Dana) am currently in Japan. I have been living here for the past 5 months and will return to Brisbane just after Christmas while Rodolfo is working Monday to Friday. We are both extremely chill people who work during the week and like to relax after work and meet with friends on weekends. We keep our mess restricted to our room haha and would like to have a good relationship with all of our housemates. We are looking to move into a new place before I return so if you have space in your house for an easygoing couple like us please feel free to send us a message. Thanks, Dana & Rodolfo
I am going to do an exchange to study English in Brisbane, I am a quiet & calm person, I rarely get angry, I also do not like to bother others with my presence. I'm a student who prefers walking or cycling in the city. I have a degree in International Relations from the University Center of Brasília, I did an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil. I can speak more or less well Spanish and Chinese. When I'm in Australia, I plan to work and enjoy the city. I do not smoke and I do not drink until I'm drunk.
Hey guys! I've been renting in brisbane/goldcoast for a couple years now and unfortunately my current share house lease ends in Jan and sadly everyone is taking different paths. I love to cook and bake, do arty things and chat over a beer. I work different hours every week but am normally out of the house at least 32hrs for work. I'm looking around Bowen hills because that's where I currently work but anywhere close to a train or bus would work! I have two precious kitties, Tokus 7 and Lucifer 5months, they're both quiet and sleep 22/24hrs a day haha. If we get along great I'd love to extend the 6months too. Thanks! :D
Hey guys, My name's Sam - I'm 24, mainly tutoring (statistics/psychology) at UQ for the next year and I'll start med in 2016. I'm the Event Manager for an exchange student organisation in Brisbane (after spending two years on exchange in Germany), I love a bunch of random sports like Dodgeball and Parkour and am quite extroverted. I'm looking for a place that is pretty cheap (but still big enough for a double bed and desk) and is pretty social. Give me a yell if I sound like I'd fit in at your place!
NOTE: Please do not contact me in regards to shared rooms or student accomodation options as unfortunately this is not suitable for what I am after. Hey there! My name is Georgia and I am 22 years old. I have lived around Brisbane's beautiful city for 4 years now and loved every minute of it, living in Spring Hill and working at the International Airport most recently for roughly around the past 6 months. My interests include fashion, music, travel, food!, science, technology, the environment, interior design and so on. I would love to find a house of fun, friendly & respectful people to join and hang out with for at least the next 6 months, somewhere still within close reach of the CBD and public transport. I take pride/time in caring for all my belongings and I am very clean so obviously it would be nice to be sharing with like minded people. I am looking to move virtually anytime from now so if I sound like a may be a good fit for your place please don't hesitate to send me a message. I own some of my own furniture which I will most likely store or sell assuming the house I move into is furnished although I do have a massive beautiful brand new lounge & wooden buffet unit I will not part with and will have to find a solution to storing if I cannot bring them. Thanks!
I've just finished my first year of uni studying design and am looking to move before the start of next semester. I am currently working part time both as a waitress and a nanny and am planning to move to England mid next year to study so only looking to move in for the 6ish months before I leave. I'm easy-going, friendly and tidy. I spend most of my time socialising, working on art projects and volunteering at festivals.
