I am a 33 year old female studying Business and Design at Griffith University (South Bank and Nathan Campuses). I am looking for somewhere to stay just 2 or 3 nights during the week so I can get study done as the rest of the week I will be at my partners place (he has 3 kids, which is part of the reason why I need somewhere else to go for some quiet time!). I am quiet and considerate, respectful and thoughtful of others. I am reliable and trustworthy and will always pay rent and bills when they are due. I am friendly and kind, and very gentle and caring. I don't like conflict or drama, so I live peacefully with others. I'm am an extremely honest person, so if you want to know anything, just ask!
I’m a Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, quiet lifestyle, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. Young-at-heart, I've lived in lots of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident, worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, art house films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates. While I enjoy watching an hour or 2 of TV (e.g. news, docco, The Chase or The Simpsons), I don't watch it most of the time. I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. I'm non-vegetarian and heterosexual - happy to live with vegetarians and/or LGBT people. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. Move-in date flexible. References available.
Hi, I'm Clare, 33 and I work full time with the government. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a clean and spacious house. I have no problems paying bond and going on a lease, and have never paid a bill late. I'm very used to sharehouse living, previously studied and worked shifts so I'm respectful of other people's timetables and downtime. I also like to have a tidy house so it would be a welcome change to live with people who do their share of the housework. I usually do my own thing and am looking for flatmates who are more or less similar, but also up for a chat and a glass of wine at times. When i'm not at work I'm at the gym, reading, or catching up with friends. Unfortunately the owners of my current place want to renovate and sell so i have to move on, but I can leave anytime up until 12th December. Having friends over is great, but I'm definitely not looking for a loud house or anyone who uses drugs, and I would like to stay pretty close to the city. Pet, LGBTI, student and shift worker friendly :)
Hi there, I am Nicolas from Geneva, Switzerland. I am moving to Brisbane for doing my master thesis in bioengineering at the University of Queensland and I am looking for flatmates to live with. I am an easy going guy and always clean up after myself. I love surfing, fishing, chilling and being outside for a drink or to meet people. I have already experienced living in share houses for several years, never had problems with my house mates and always pay my bills. Do not hesitate to contact me for more information. Cheers, Nicolas
I'm currently working as a relief teacher mainly in special education, and before that I was a classroom music teacher! In my down time I love playing guitar and singing songs, writing a few as well. I'm a very open person, and I love meeting people who I can have a great chat with. I'm also pansexual :) I keep things tidy and pretty minimal, and I'm more than happy to put my fair share of work into keeping the house nice!
Hi i'm a 25 yo who has finished my masters in engineering in melbourne and will be moving to brisbane for full time work.I'm pretty easy going and clean.I love hiking and sports.I'm always up for an occasional hangout at a bar and a nice chat but also respect personal space.
Hey there, I'm a trustworthy, kind and easy-going person who is tidy and respectful. I've been flatting with friends majority of my time living here in Bribane so I know how to live with other people. Unfortunately I need to find a nice home closer to the city. I often keep to myself and respect others space but won't turn down a friendly chat or fun hang-out. I don't smoke. Rarely drink but it doesn't bother me if you do. I'm a bartender working most nights of the week. In my spare time I like to keep busy. I go to the gym, go on adventures, eat great food and soon to be studying In Aviation. I hope I can be a good addition to your sharehouse! :) (I'm currently on holidays until the 13th of November but will be available once I get back, asap)
Hi :) We are a friendly couple from Barcelona, Spain. We have just arrived to Brisbane city, with a Student Visa for 1 year, and we are looking for a nice comfortable place to stay for this time.
My name is Caitlin and I’m a 23 year old physiotherapist working in the city. I’m looking for 1-2 new housemates to start up a new apartment/house in late December/early January. No pets please. Also open to moving into an existing house but I do have quite a bit of furniture that I’d like to keep (fridge, couches, TV, TV unit, coffee table etc). I’m fairly active, and also enjoy cooking/baking. I’m very tidy, and coming home to a clean relaxing space is important to me. I’m friendly and enjoy a chat at the end of the day, but also don’t mind my own space (and am respectful of other’s). I also like to hang out with my friends (sometimes at home) and don’t mind a drink or two on the weekend! Feel free to message me for a chat if you’re interested, can’t wait to hear from you!
Hi everybody, after a separation I find myself looking for short term accomodation for myself, 5 year old son and 2 small dogs (Pomeranians). I am a veterinarian nurse studying veterinarian science, i work in Brookfield however would like to look all over Brisbane. I enjoy live music , good food (love cooking), tending to my plants and am a passionate animal lover. My son is very well behaved and has manners. We don't mind sharing a room as I am not looking for something long term. My son is at his fathers house every weekend ... sat-mon. i am home during the week however am very rarely home weekends. 420 friendly, lgbt friendly 🍁🏳️🌈
Hi, I'm interested in going into a new house with someone(s)/a couple. I'm an ICT professional who works in the city so would like a place close to a train line or a decent bus way. I am tidy, considerate and sociable. I also have a beautiful medium sized border collie x kelpie dog named Molly who is extremely well behaved but means that I require a decent backyard and places near by where we will exercise. I have already started applying for places and am looking for someone who would be interested in applying with me. I am looking for someone who is willing to pay a similar amount to myself (But if 2 people were involved then this would obviously bring everyone's rent down). i have only listed a couple of locations but ultimately anywhere within 30 mins of the city on public transport (door to door) works just fine.
I'm very bubbly and outgoing , love meeting new people. Currently working full time in Paddington. I'm a really clean person I can't relax if I know I have chores that can be done haha unless I'm hungover or sick which is a rare occasion. I like to go out for a drink or two now and again, I definitely know how to have a good night but also like to be Nana sometimes. I'm very much in to my fitness ect , like to go exploring and hunt down bush tracks or mountains to walk up , adventuring is my favourite. Most importantly I want to move in with like minded people, not only people I can call flat mates but also people who I can become great friends with. Thanks 👍
I am Jaime, PhD student at UQ from Colombia. I came to Brisbane to research in my field and enjoy my life abroad. I consider myself respectful of other people's space and enjoy having a comfortable life and sharing a nice space, also taking care of it. Usually I'll be working at Uni most time and have a pretty steady schedule and when I'm not there I enjoy sharing a beer from time to time with the people I live with and exploring the city and its surroundings. If I'm at home I'll be editing pictures, watching some movies, cooking or reading and I enjoy sharing time with the people I live with.
Hey guys, originally from France I have been living in Brisbane for over 8 years now. I just sold my unit and have 30 days to find great flatmates to live with :) A bit about me: I work full time as a professional in the city. I am educated, clean, trustworthy and respectful of others' privacy. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am generally quiet during the week as I focus on work, working-out and living a healthy positive life. I am into the beach and outdoors, travelling, meeting new people, formula 1 and reading. I am looking to move in with some like minded people who look after their home and are clean and respectful. Lastly a couple of important things, I would like a room with its own aircon and own bathroom and I need access to a locked garage please. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Julien PS: I love dogs if that matters :)
Hi Im Andrew. Im a Nurse in emergency, 39 years old. Clean, tidy and respectful. Im pretty standard, love going to the gym and the beach. A social drinker on weekends. I love life and my job. I'm House trained, lived with housemates before. Respect others around me. i want a housemate that i can have a 10 minute chat with at end of day, odd pint with, but not in your face non stop talking. Looking for south Brisbane in December/January
Hey! I'm a 23y/o working full time in finance in the city. I'm a keen vegetarian and love exercising, socialising and going to the beach in my downtime. I'm a pretty chill person to live with, I love my own space but also enjoy hanging out with roommates.
We are two laid back females who both work full time, as well as Jessie studying part time. We like to have our own space but we are always up for a beer or a chat, and enjoy being social on weekends. We have most of the furniture needed to furnish a house, and as such are looking to either start a share house with like-minded people, or move into a house that could accommodate our belongings. We currently live in New Farm, although are wanting to move from our current apartment to a house (we both want to get dogs). We don't want to live too far out of the city, and New Farm is our ideal location. We're looking at spending a maximum of $250 each, and are looking at houses that are 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a maximum of $900p/wk. There are a few properties currently available in the area that we're looking at, so if you feel like you'd like to team up to start a rad share house then send us a message!
