I am an American PhD student at QUT studying submarine volcanoes! Open-minded, respectful honest, optimist. When, I am not in the lab doing research, I am probably playing basketball or cooking a meal. Looking for social friendly housemates. Would prefer a place I could call home for a good amoubt of my time so I can focus on studies.
I am 25 years old and about to start my PhD at QUT. I am a very sociable person but respect and appreciate private space. I am a non smoker and used to clean up after myself. I am big into outdoor activities, like cooking and enjoying time at home :) I practiced gymnastics and classic/latin-american dance for several years in my home country Germany. I wish to find a nice place to call home for up to 3 years. Best, Laura
I study kinesiology (even though I'm terrible about putting in my workouts, go figure), and I'm from Portland in the U.S. I love animals, reading, the outdoors, and exploring new places. I'm friendly and love hanging out with people, but I also like my alone time. I'm hoping to find fellow flatmates who love to explore both within and beyond Brisbane, and who enjoy casually hanging out and sharing a meal together.
Hi We’re Tania and Haley. We’re a couple with working holiday visa enjoying Australia. I’m from Portugal and my fiancé is from Canada. We love sports, watch a good movie (Netflix and cinema), we like to walk in the city and near the beach. We both travel more than 60 countries and get in contact with different cultures is something we love to do. Haley loves gym and Tania loves animals. We are nonsmokers and prefer living with people who are the same. We’re friendly and tidy and we respect privacy and space. We’re open minded and very relaxed. We clean after ourselves without any trouble.
Hi, I'm a french student of 22 from Paris looking for a place to live not far from QUT, Queensland university of Technology for 4 month. I am an engineer student in construction and I used to practice a lot of sports, tennis especially.
Hi! I'm Paige - looking for a room in Brisbane (preferably New Farm, Teneriffe, Newstead, Fortitude Valley, Bowen Hills or South Brisbane/Highgate Hill. I'm 24 and moving back up from Sydney although I was raised in Brisbane and have spent most of my life here. I work full time and I keep pretty busy, but would love to find housemates who don't mind a chat every now and again. I've lived in share houses for over 5 years now, so I know what's expected of me as a housemate! I'm clean, friendly and respectful and I'm looking for a room to stay hopefully long term. Please feel free to get in contact if you think I might suit your place :)
We are super friendly and clean girls. We like to make friends and cook good food as well. We come from Colombia and Czech Republic. If you have swimming pool and gym in your building we would be so grateful for that.
Hey, my name is Danae and I’m 21 years old. I am looking to move to Brisbane towards the end of Febuary. Im clean, relaxed and easy going. I also have an 8 month old Rottweiler x Ridgeback who is just a massive teddy bear. Just looking to move in with people who are laxed out and clean. Feel free to shoot me a message!
Hi I'm Liz, I like to think I'm hilarious and easy to live with but at the very least I’m friendly. I work full time as a electronics/software engineer in the city and in my spare time I like to stay active, socialise and cook or bake (I’ll share). I like my living space to be tidy and clean. Can’t live with smokers (I've got fairly bad asthma), and I don’t want to live with a couple. I would also like to have flyscreens on the windows and doors, because I'm personally victimized by mozzies (or be on a floor high enough to be out of reach). Mostly just wanting to team up, since I have most of the furniture we would need for common areas, plus a fridge and washing machine. I’m flexible with suburb as long as there’s a reasonable commute into the city, preferably by train. If you’re keen to know more, let’s catch up for a coffee!
Hi, I’m Caity, a 26 year old Brissy local, who has just moved back home (after 7years away) to start full-time work at Mater Hospital. I consider myself to be easy-going, quite sociable and bubbly, clean, tidy, respectful and generally pretty easy to get along with. I love cooking and baking sweet treats to share and am always up for a laugh, some good quality banter or just relaxing at home. I don’t smoke, I try to exercise regularly (emphasis on the word try) and I love all animals (especially cats), so it’s not a problem if you have a pet. Having lived out of home for 7 years already, I understand how to live harmoniously in shared environment, the importance of being considerate of everyone’s own personal space and cleaning up after yourself, especially in common/shared areas. Although I’m mostly happy and chatty, I’m often pretty exhausted when I get home from work and like a bit of quite time to myself to recuperate and also to do some study/work on my Diploma/certificate course this year, so I am respectful of others need to work/study as well and understand if you might be the same. I am social, but my crazy party days are behind me, more of a casual cocktail or wine & cheese platter kind of girl now. I enjoy the occasional dinner party, sipping ciders on a sunny arvo, the occasional weekend adventure, trying out local cafes or just watching some binge-worthy tv. I’m looking for a roomie who is fun, respectful and like minded when it comes to study and living together and having reasonable work-life balance, but who also enjoys an occasional bevy and night on the town, getting emotionally invested in trashy TV series and being a wannabe foodie or coffee/wine snob. I’m looking for a private (furnished or unfurnished) room with it’s own private/ensuite bathroom. I’d also like it to be somewhere close/walking distance of the train line or hospital, in a nice safe neighbourhood ideally with secure parking (or if not tons of free and safe street parking). A pool/gym would be an added bonus. I am looking to stay in a place from mid-late March for up to 6 months and my maximum budget is $250/week. I would prefer to live with 1-2 other females, but am open to living with anyone ☺. Please don't hesitate to contact me for further information :)
Hey, I'm a 27 year old Canadian student studying at UQ and looking for a place to stay :) I enjoy playing sports and keeping active, but always enjoy binge watching Netflix on some days. Please message me if you have any available rooms. Open to team-ups as well!
Hey! I'm Jess. I'm Canadian and living in Brisbane indefinitely. I work for a financial tech company from my laptop, so I'm more often than not working from home all day. I'm really chilled and easy going. I keep everything clean and tidy. I'm an easy roommate to get along with. I'm a pretty social person and like to have a chat or go out for a few drinks on the weekend. My hobbies are fitness (gym, yoga, running), photography, and travelling. I'm looking for a private and furnished room in a share house, starting on March 25th. I would be staying a minimum of 2 months.
Hi! I'm Caitlin, a 24-year-old student of law and journalism. I am about to enter my final semester. I work part-time as a tutor and a notetaker. I love to cook (vegetarian) and always happy to share. I also am a keen gardener. I'm looking for a social house, but that is also quiet and respectful of alone time. I don't mind pets (love dogs) but am unfortunately allergic to cats.
I’m 26, from Scotland and work as a Nurse (on a WHV). Clean, tidy and friendly. Always up for a night out on the weekend and love a good netflix series. Looking to share with someone/people around the same age and similar interests to me. I plan to stay in Brisbane from the start of March until end of April and will be doing some travel during this time so wouldn’t always be in.
I am a PhD student from Italy. I love sports (judo is my new crush right now) and outdoor activities, but I also enjoy board games movies and TV series. I'm looking for a stay for the next six months, hoping to find friendly flatmates but also a quite and cozy accommodation.
Single 30 year old female looking for an apartment for myself and dog, Walter. Ideally would like to be close to the city. Walter is mostly an indoor dog but small balcony or courtyard would be good. I work full time in payroll Monday to Friday and I am usually socialising and excersing on the weekends. I enjoy cooking and would prefer a decent sized kitchen. My current lease is up at the end of March.
Clean, considerate and friendly. 23 years old norwegian girl studying psychology and criminology at UQ. Love sports, reading, cooking and traveling.
