Hi. I’m a theatre nurse who just got accepted into Deakin’s medical program, starting January 29th. I’m currently working on contract in Hobart. I plan on studying a lot and commuting to Melbourne for work. In my spare time I love to eat great food (though I’m a horrible cook!), enjoy a glass of wine, and go on a hike or visit the beach. I’ve got furniture I need to ship from a storage unit in Queensland.
Hi I'm Rainey. My partner Michael and I have just moved back to Geelong after spending the last year living in Tasmania. I am currently a student at Deakin Waurn Ponds studying my final year of psychology and history. Michael is managing the Blackman's Brewery Bar in Geelong so not only will you have access to awesome beers, he'll be out of the house 5 nights a week. We're looking for a social house, we are always up for a beer tasting and a chat, but we would also like somewhere that is quiet and relaxed as I like to study at home when I can. We both enjoy snowboarding so will probably try to head up to the mountains a couple of times over the winter. At the moment we're looking for a six-month lease but if we find the right house or housemates we would consider something longer. If we sound like the right fit I would love to hear from you!
I have lived in shared accommodation before, having two years on Deakin Residence in Waurn Ponds and another two years renting with friends. Currently about to start full time work whilst studying part time, so I will be busy but more than happy to have a social drink and enjoy being around others.
I prefer a quieter household, as I'm not a fan of raucous parties or people with loud late night friends. I'm happiest when I'm on the couch watching netflix with a drink and a sketchbook. I'm always up for a chat and i like to think I'm pretty funny. Want to play a board game? I'm up for that. Need someone to help you polish off a cheese platter? I can help with that. I'd love a home where i can bring my 2 cats with me but if that isn't a possibility i can easily make other arrangements for them.
I'm a very compassionate and flexible person, though I'm out alot with work and studying, I love a beer on my day off and just keeping myself busy with exercise, dance or good meals with friends. Am a very clean person, but dont really mind much if life gets in the way and things get a little messy.
Hi there, Vikalp here ! So with my current lease running out, I am looking for a place in and around Yaraville. I am currently working in Ford Geelong, but looking to stay somewhere closer to my friends and the city. I have lived in shared houses in Melbourne/Sydney and am currently living in one as well. I would love to find a similar thing. If you are looking for something to possibly even rent together I could be the person. I have my hands full working through the week so you probably wont catch me through the day. My weekends are mostly spent catching up with all my friends. If not I'll be exploring things in and around area. I love a social chat and a drink when possible. I like being organised about my stuff and I love a clean place around, so tend to always clean around and do my fair share of daily chores. So shoot me a message if you think we can work something out. Cheers ! :)
Easy going, have lived in many share houses. I love to cook, I sometimes play music and sing, I have an old dog and a young cat. I am interested in sustainability - zero waste where possible, composting, growing veggies, saving water and electricity. I work out in the world but also at home.
Hey ☺️ we’re two young girls who have just relocated from Queensland and excited to start a new life down here. We’re both clean, tidy and very easy going people. We’re always up for a beer and some laughs but also enjoy quiet nights in.
Hi I’m a 30 year old married primary school teacher who will be moving to the Geelong area next year due to gaining a full time teaching position. My husband lives overseas (and will remain their until our own build has finished) and family live in the rural Victoria so will head home most weekends. I like my down time however like the occasional chat over cheese and wine. I love my food and maintain a semi-healthy lifestyle so do enjoy preparing meals and going to gym or for walks however do love a burger and wine. My party days are pretty much gone so I’m hoping to find a nice quiet place during the week. Would also prefer to have my own bathroom but definitely not a deal breaker. I am currently waiting for my land to title so will be in the process of building my own home so a flexible lease long term lease would be a positive (hopefully be ready by end of 2019). Looking in the Armstrong Creek, Geelong, Belmont, Grovedale and Charlemont areas.
Two girls looking for one or two people to join us in a house! We're flexible on move dates around mid November-mid december. We are both fun, social, tidy people who enjoy each other’s company but also respect privacy. Looking for like minded people. We enjoy going out and having a drink but also enjoy quiet nights at home binging Netflix and cooking together or heading down the beach! We both have years of experience in share housing situations so understand the importance of shared responsibilities and always pay on time! Claire is currently studying psychology at Deakin and working part-time and Hannah works full time in allied health. If we sound like a match for you please swing us a message 🤗 Males, females and couples welcome! Would prefer to live with people in their 20’s.

Hi! I’m 25 and work full time (most weeks I’ll do extra hours) in Armstrong Creek. I’m quite busy in my spare time and keep active. My working week is pretty busy so I’m out of the house a lot. My weekends are my own. I’m very happy keeping to myself, but would love a housemate or two to do house dinners or outings with. I have a female cat, she’s a sweet heart and very well mannered, never had a problem in all of my previous share houses.
Hey! I would consider myself to be super social, hard working and fun. :) I've been in share-houses for the last 3 years, so I am well-aware of how to respect eachothers space and keep the house nice and clean! Originally from Port Fairy and now living in Geelong for Uni. I have one year left of my teaching degree at Deakin and I work part-time at a school. Currently travelling Europe and hope to move in around Jan when I get home to Aus. :)
Hello potential flatmate. I'm Fahad and I'm in my mid 20's. A typical weekday starts at 6:30 am and ends usually around 6 pm. I work full time in the morning and evenings are kept free for gym and other hobbies. I'm looking for a place with a backyard to be engaged with my RC hobby. My work hours are all over the place including weekends. I'm the complete opposite of 'live in the room'. I'd like to live with a flatmates that enjoy a badass medium rare steak once in a while or we could cook veggies too, if you're vegan. I'm a model aeronautics hobbyist so I build planes and drones in my free time. That does mean seeing tiny flying things around the house. Looking for a place preferably near CBD. Feel free to buzz me if you think we can get along as housemates :). Cheers
I’m a Secondary teacher and have been offered a job in Geelong commencing in the new year hence am very interested in your house! I have just returned from living in England for the past 3 years. I love traveling, live music, good food, dancing, hiking and funny conversations. I’m looking for a home rather than just a place to sleep. I’ve lived in many share houses and my favorites have been ones where we share the odd meal, can hang out, chatting watching TV or a having glass of wine. Equally I respect others space and value a clean, tidy household where everyone pulls their weight. I would love to come and check out the house and meet you if possible. Let me know. Cheers, Airlie 😊
