Hey! I've just relocated to Hobart for full-time work, and will be here for at least 6 months. Looking for roommates or accommodation. :) I like to think I'm easy to get along with, I'm clean and I love to cook (and eat, obviously). I enjoy anything from chilling on the couch with some wine and cheese to hiking and climbing. I have an adorable little kitten who is snuggly and loves tummy rubs. She's indoors only and I promise is super minimal maintenance (I've miraculously trained her to use human toilets, so I'm not joking about this). Please shoot me a message if you have an appropriate place or are also looking for someone to room with next year! :) xx
Hey there, My name is John, I am a Civil engineer who grew up on the NSW North Coast. I am currently enrolled in a bachelor of Marine Science at UTAS this coming semester. My passions are surfing and playing music (acoustically) and generally anything outdoors. I love to cook and to keep a clean kitchen / living area. I have been travelling for the last 8 months and hence am excited to settle in Hobart for a while. I cherish my personal space but am also very social.
Hi there, We are two Vietnamese girls Kim and Jolly who currently studying full-time at Hobart. We are extremely respectful and tidy since Kim has a dirt allergy so we often clean and tidy up the house. I - Jolly used to live in the USA for 3 years so I'm pretty open-minded and open up to any conversation. We are looking for a private room in Hobart area that is near Utas or the city if possible. We hope we could team up or share the flat. Our budget is $300 per week. Also, it would be great if you could let us have a pet in the near future as we are so lonely here in Hobart. We definitely would ensure the cleanliness of the house. Hope to be your future flatmates. Best, Kim and Jolly
I have recently graduated and am moving from Sydney to Hobart at the end of February for full-time engineering work. I am easy going, but also organised when it comes to payments and keeping things clean etc, so I am searching for flatmates with similar qualities. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer, exploring the surroundings, listening to music and reading. I like to chat and socialise, but respect everyone's personal space and privacy. As I will be working full-time, I am not looking for a loud and rowdy party house, just a relaxing place to wind down.
Hi, im haowei, I'm a full time student in UTAS, I'm looking for a room near Hobart city or near Sandy Bay where the Uni located. Looking forward to be your new flatmate!
Hello! My name is Liana. I am currently completing post graduate studies in Psychology through distance education and hoping to complete placement to find a paid psychology internship when relocated to Hobart. I currently do not have paid employment but government assistance due to illness- however, my aim is to re-enter the workplace. Thus I've including working part time as a feature as when I relocate, I will be working part time ASAP. When first meeting me, I may come across quite shy and introverted but as we get to know each other, I open up! This won't take long!! I enjoy being social, I love a games or movie night! I don't mind a social drink with others. Although I am a smoker, I am respectful of others (and aim to quit in the near future). I do also like some down time where I play guitar/write songs, listen to music, or just watch a movie on my own. Since starting on a fitness/weight loss journey, I've enjoyed going to the gym, bush walking, and other adventures. Let's buddy up! I am looking for a share-house with a private room. $200 max per week inclusive of most bills to move ASAP.
I’m a full time student with a casual job going into the final year of my degree. I am tidy and easy going. More than happy to share cleaning and cooking responsibilities. I’m outdoorsey and active, and enjoy a relaxed dinner party with my friends. Looking for a relaxed space to study and hang out.
Hi there! I've been living in my current place in Sandy Bay for about three years but unfortunately my landlord is selling the place so I have to move out. I'm originally from New Zealand but Hobart's been my home for a long time now. I like to fix up old bicycles, and I volunteer at the Hobart Bike Kitchen when I'm not working in the city. I love music, and have done since I began listening to my brother's vinyl collection in the 70s and I'm still onto something new every month When I'm at home I like to fix bicycles when thair are to many like six I give a few away 😬 I read a lot go mountain biking and I'm pretty handy about the house good at spoting problems befor thay become expensive problems landlords like me I tend to eat out, so I don't use the kitchen much I always like to live in a clean home I'm Clean by nature easy to live with and I like to help out if it's called for. I'm polite never grumpy I really don't get the point of grumpynes it's such a wast of time 😳 I respect my housemates' personal space and their privacy, but I like a chat as well. I pay all my bills on time and pay my rent like clockwork. All in all, I'm pretty low maintenance. I'm looking for something with easy access to the city on a bike or bus, around $200 and $220, depending on the place. Looking forward to meeting you! Regards Alan.
Hi. We have recently moved from Melbourne, currently staying with family. We are looking for a room to rent anywhere in the Hobart region. We have a cat named Sonic. We are good at keeping the house clean and garden maintenance. We are respectful of others and their space and are quiet.
Hi there. I have been living in Sydney for 5 years in shared room and apartment thus I know the duties and responsibilities very well. I am easygoing but at the same time I don’t bother other people too often. I am non smoker nor heavy drinker though I like fun at times. I am coming Hobart to study Commercial Cookery. I love travelling and enjoy cooking. If you like south Asian curries and spices, you are in for a treat coz I can make few 😋😋 varieties. I don’t mind sharing flat or room with honest people. If you have different hobbies, not a problem, I am up for learning new things.
Hi It's Pete here I'm currently living in Launie relocating to Hobart on March I'm 30 years young i consider myself as an open minded, honest, respectable and out going person who mind his own business, neat and tidy is my OCD I enjoy a glass of wine now and then while watching Tv shows
I am looking for a room in a new abode or flatmate who is interested in teaming up and starting a new lease in a clean and stress free home. I would like to stay in close proximity to the city for the time being; Battery Point, Sandy Bay or North Hobart would be ideal. If you have furniture that would be ideal. I am clean, considerate, easy going and conscious of others and their schedules. I like to explore the outdoors and I am an avid hiker, explorer and adventurer at heart. I like to cook (eat mostly vegetarian) and I’m eco-orientated. I enjoy a social drink and catch up. Please contact me so we can meet to discuss further.
Hey all, I’m a full-time design student currently looking for a place to stay in Hobart. I’m a laid-back friendly guy, dubbed a model tennant by my previous landlords. I have house-share experience and have a wide range of interests and hobbies; I’m able to find common ground with almost anyone. I love a good social outing and will generally be down for a chat, drink or adventure somewhere. As a creative I do value my own space and privacy though, finding it a lot easier to kick goals when I’m able to run on my own time. Currently getting around on a motorcycle, so I do require some sort of off-street parking for the time being (although it takes up next to no space at all).
Hi everyone! My name is Wes. I am a health professional recently moved to Tas from the mainland. I have years of house sharing experience in both Canberra and Adelaide and I am happy to provide reference if needed. A little bit about myself: I love being outdoor and usually spend my weekends doing outdoorsy stuff. But I also enjoy night-in watching movies/Netflix at home during the week. I would consider myself an easy-going and considerate person and always clean up after myself. It would be nice to share a place with people in the West/ Southern part of Hobart. I would also consider teaming up with someone who has not found a place in Hobart and willing to move in early April. Please flick me a text message or message me here if you have any question. Cheers! :)
