Hello, I am moving to Hobart for work and am looking for a short-term space to rent while I search for something more permanent. I'm easy-going, respectful, and will keep the space tidy. I will also be working during the day and house searching outside of that, so I am unlikely to spend much time at the house outside of sleeping :) Cheers, Courtney
Hello, Im Syazwi (Shaun). a very flexible easy going bloke, only fussed about cleanliness. all i do is work and chill. would like to have a housemate who is similar (preferably someone who enjoys smoking and drinking as much as I do).
I am quiet and easy going; tidy and well groomed. I work at a digital production studio located in the CDB, primarily on effects animation and programming. I like cooking (particularly Japanese cuisine) preferably with good company, and enjoy the occasional moderate drink - but also enjoy my "self time"; watching my tv series and occasional video gaming. Feel free to message me and ask me for any further specific information.
We are a couple who is just moving to Tassie and we are looking for a nice and cozy place to live. We used to live 2 years in Brisbane, and now we are on holidays at home in Chile, (we are from this beautiful tiny place just right in the corner of Southamerica). Sebastian is going to start studying at UTAS, so we prefer a quiet place to live. We are 2 chefs by profession, so we love to cook and have a glass of wine (o cup of tea) with a nice chat or a nice movie on Netflix. We also have our new outdoor equipment and we are so excited to start using it.

I will be relocating to Hobart for my masters course at UTAS. I have also just found part time work at a school while studying my master of science. I enjoy bush walking, bike riding, film photography (i develop my own black and white photographs) reading and cooking. I also enjoy mycology (fungi) and enjoy foraging and the identification of different specimens. Prior to my masters, i lived and worked in Sydney as a Senior Scientific Laboratory Technician in a private school. I'm an independent person, clean and reliable who enjoys alone time who is also up for a chat and potentially cooking and sharing a meal together. I also may or may not have a cat (Female, litter trained, desexed, 10 years old), who may be coming with me.
30 year old guy relocating to Hobart to undertake full-time Honours study in visual art at UTAS Hunter Street. I'm clean, quiet, easy-going and a keen cyclist for daily transport. Happy to live with pets if you have (I don't), I don't smoke (you can if you want of course), or use drugs (other than social alcohol). Looking for somewhere near the water, reasonably close to Hobart city. As a student, I'll need wifi, and have a reasonable but not massive budget. Please say hi if you think I'd suit your share house! Cheers, Jamie
I'm a quiet, friendly, considerate, and very respectful person. I'm tidy and pick up after myself all the time. I work full-time in Hobart CBD. I've lived in Tas over the last six years and lived with different types of people on different periods of time. I lived in Bellerive for the last one year but unfortunately the house I lived in is sold so now I'm looking for another place to live in.
Hi, I'm a 21 year old student who moved from Melbourne to Hobart about a year and a half ago. I like to read and listen to music, but I also love a chat and going out. I'm clean, quiet and easy to get along with. Currently looking for a house with fun and likeminded individuals as my first sharehouse has finally come to an end. I'm quite used to living with girls as my previous 5 housemates have been female. I also love dogs so any house with a canine resident is more than welcome. Ideally I'd like to move in as soon as possible, but I'll be with my parents in melbourne for christmas, so I can wait until the end of the month or so. Feel free to find me if you can't message me here. I look forward to hearing from you 😊
Hey my names Kira. I'm 21 years old and currently working in Hobart working for the government - full time. I'm currently having to move out of my beautiful town house 🏡 I love cups of tea and chats about travel. Now, I do own a rat (don't freak out please) I promise you, he's such handsome and loveable boy. I keep him and his cage super tidy, he's in love with anyone who offers him chickpeas and a game of fetch with a paper ball. 🐀 I'm looking for a place near Hobart area due to work and no licence - I love clean and beautiful surroundings🌱🌼 Please feel free to message me and ask me any questions about myself ect. ☺️
Hi my name is Chekiah and my partners name is Glen, we are looking for a room to rent in Hobart during our university studies. Both of us have been finding it very difficult to find a place to rent and have been knocked back with university accommodation. We are very quiet, friendly and respectable people who respect other peoples space and rarely drink and never party and are extremely neat, clean and tidy and we cleans up after ourselves and are more than willing to help in any way possible to make any one else's living lives more enjoyable. I am beginning my first year of study in economics and business and Glen is starting his second year in law and economics. We also love animals, so there is no issue if someone owns a pet. We are both from the North-West Coast. I am also a music lover and play piano, piano is no requirement to be in the share house. My partner Glen likes to play video games occasionally and also does Karate and Jujitsu along with me. If you have any questions about Glen and myself please do not hesitate to ask.
Hey! I am moving from Melbourne to Hobart to work as a Civil Engineer. Ideally I am looking for a house that would be relatively close to the CBD and have some car parking (street parking is fine). I am very easy to get along with, good at cleaning, always happy to cook for friends and I respect others privacy and space. I am a social person, but only know a few people in Hobart, so I would ideally like to live with people that enjoy hanging out with each other. I am looking to move anytime between now and the end of January. Send me a message if you have room or want to start a sharehouse :)
I'm relocating to Hobart from Melbourne in mid Jan 2018, I recently graduated and will be working full time. I'm a proactive person and I'm happy to share the load when it comes to general tasks like cleaning, dishes, washing. I enjoy sport and the outdoors while I'd be bringing with me a 3 year old red border collie named Poppy who is an absolute dream though occasionally will cause some mischief (don't leave any food unattended), she is mostly an outside dog - to her disgust - but would happily come inside if allowed. I consider myself a relaxed, easygoing person and I'm happy to fit into a house that already has an established culture with existing housemates or happy to be part of a team up with others looking to settle in Hobart.
Hi there, My name is Pratik Bhatia, I am from India. I have recently completed my MBA degree from the Sydney Business School, NSW. I am flying into Hobart on 15th Dec 2017. Looking for a place to stay (would prefer a place close to CBD). Budget $250. Will be working full-time. thanks :)
Hello! My name is Kimberly (24) and i'm a recently graduated Oral Health Therapist from Sydney! I've accepted a full time job in Hobart and my partner Ben (23) and I are hoping to live with some flatmates short term while we look for house to live in permanently. Ben currently works in retail (Coles) and will be transferring stores. We both share fairly different interests - Ben being quite the gamer while I enjoy training at the gym. We're both tidy people and easy to get along with, though we may be a bit quiet at first. Please send us a message if you would like to know more! We're always happy to meet new people :)
Hey! I'm a freelance illustrator, I recently quit my full time advertising job in Sydney so I can move to Hobart to study science at UTAS in Feb 2018. I'm looking for others to team up with and rent our own place, preferably with a spare bedroom so visiting friends can come and stay. I'm pretty laid back, I like to have the occasional drink and would love a roommate who will watch crappy TV/listen to music with me while drinking cheap wine. I work from home and will obviously be studying so I'll be pretty quiet weeknights and will want to enjoy my weekends. I also have a little white cat named Neil who will bring us bugs as gifts!
I'm a new full-time student at UTAS in 2018.I will be moving to Hobart from Sydney in 22th Dec. Non-smoker,but don’t mind people who do. Hi :) I'm Hannah! I recently moved back from Melbourne and currently staying with my parents in Geilston Bay as a potential house mates circumstances suddenly changed. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of space here and being almost 28, living with the parents isn't ideal. I have a beautiful indoor, trained, placid cat, Nahla (Aged 3 1/2), who absolutely loves people and kids. She is extremely affectionate. I consider myself to be mature, considerate, friendly, easy going and clean. Non smoker. Hoping to find someone similar to share with :) If you have any questions feel free to ask me! Hope to hear from you!
I am friendly and get along well with everyone, I work full time and currently study at a night school as well. I like to contribute to the place where I live and be a part of the group whether that's just keeping the house clean or sharing chores and cooking. My hobbies include fitness, cooking, gaming and the outdoors. I like to be clean and tidy and am good at saving and managing money. My dream is to travel regularly and build my own house in the next 5 years. I value my alone time but also enjoy the company of others in a relaxed environment. I am looking for somewhere in the greater Hobart area, preferably in Kingborough but I work in Mornington so I'm happy to consider anywhere. My move date is flexible between January and March depending on the sale of my current accommodation but even later is possible as I have a housesitting gig for most of May.
Hey all! Mixing things up with a lifestyle change. Coming down from the great ocean road to work and live in the great city of Hobart after running a very busy bicycle shop for a few years. I have an entire house setup to bring so best suited to setting up a new share house for 2 to 3 people. (fridge suits 2 honestly) I'm not the loudest person but enjoy going out to dinner from time to time or weekend breakfasts if you want to hang out. Won't have many visitors either. I ride my bikes and drive quiet abit, happy to do share meals too, I'm happy with nearly all cuisine types (just not Maccas!). Happy to share bathroom if required, I am used to living with women more so than guys, but happy either way. Happy to forego the master bedroom, would like to use garage though! Happy to get Wi-Fi if wanted but not overly phased. Split bills. No food allergies. If you have a dog that's a bonus! Things of interest: waterfalls, coffee, drives, beach, breakfasts, naps.
Hello! We are an easy-going couple looking for similar people to live with. We like movies, food, books and are both fairly busy with work and study. We've lived in sharehouses before and are happy to mingle but also enjoy our own space. We're good at being clean and considerate too! Currently living with family, so flexible with moving dates.
Hello! Grew up on the northwest coast, recently moved back to tas after living in Melbourne for 6 years. Im a very considerate housemate so also looking for that in fellow housemates. I’m working as an interior designer in the city 4-5 days a week. I have a car so also need a space for that too. I own a lot of house things so would be happy to try and find a rental with others too. I’m open to any suburb really. Cheers!
