Hi , my name is Sebastian . I am 25 years old and I am from Colombia. I have been living in Melbourne for the last 6 months. Now I am studying a diploma in Project Management (just one day per week). I am working as volunteer during the mornings and with a part time job too. I am an active person who likes exercising, studying and working. Thus, I usually stay at home just at night. The last 6 months, I was living with people from my country . Although it is a great experience, now I am loooking forward to sharing with people from other countries and cultures. I am friendly and easy going not so talkative but nice and kind.
Hi there! My name is Laura, I'm 27 years old and a Work & Holiday Visa holder from Indonesia. I'm currently living in Darwin, Australia and I'm excited to finally move to Melbourne on August 1st.. Looking for a place where I could move in right away.. I will be staying in Melbourne until my visa expires (March 2019), so if everything works perfectly after a couple of weeks, I'm most likely going to stay for a long time :) ME OVERALL AS A HOUSE/FLATMATE : I'm very considerate when living with other people, and I do respect others privacy. When I do everything around the house, I always try to keep everything clean and tidy for everyone's comfort, I leave one area the exact same condition when I first arrive (If I messed up, I'll leave things cleaner and tidier) At times when I'm in a hurry, I could leave some dish on the sink but I won't leave it there more than 24 hours.. I pay my rent on time, and if I don't, I'll pay two weeks in advance to make it up to you.. MY OCCUPATION : Here in Australia, I mostly work in the hospitality Industry.. But I'm also a creative person who's into photography and videography.. I would mostly working at a day time, but it's also possible that I'd be working on a night time as well.. Sometimes I make videos for my YouTube Channel, I hope you won't freak out if you hear me talking to myself in my room.. MY PERSONALITY : I'm an ambivert, I love to hang out, meet new people, drinking, having fun, and do crazy stuff with friends, but on some days I would appreciate being just in a small companion, or chillin' out in my room all by myself.. When I'm with my friends, I could be the loudest, but if I'm dominated by the people that I don't know (nor comfortable to be with), I could be very silent.. Don't be confused, it's just me :) IN MY LEISURE TIME : I love to eat out, or go to some touristy places.. I sometimes cook, pretty rare thing, but not impossible. So if you have a nice kitchen with its complete amenities, I might cook something for everybody in the house :) I also love to read and watch movies, huge plus if you have Netflix too :) I don't usually go partying on the weekend, but at times, I might do.. I'M LOOKING FOR : A room that has a lot of natural sunlight coming in, a big window or a balcony that connected to the room would be perfect :) I prefer living in a flat, having my own room and my own key.. I don't mind sharing bathroom as long as the people that shares it with me are considerate about the cleanliness of that sacred area.. Having a cleaning system in the house for everyone would be the best to suit me personally.. A fast unlimited internet connection is a must.. I can only afford max $300/week including all the bills, internet and amenities TOLERANCE : I don't mind living with dogs or cats, I love both of them (especially cats).. But if you don't have pets, that's awesome too.. I don't smoke, I don't mind if you do.. But will be much respected if you don't do it inside the house :) If you feel like you, your flat, and your flatmates are a perfect match for me, do not hesitate to contact me :) Please be specific, I can always choose to ignore you if you're being unclear or dodgy Have a great day, and may the odds be ever in your favor :)

**MOVE IN DATE AROUND THE 15TH OF AUG** Hi! I'm moving to Melbourne from Hobart and looking for an easy house to slot into. Ideally i am looking for a house that is also a 'home', and I would want to be good friends with my housemates (also have friends in Melbourne so ~no pressure~). I'll be working full time in South Melbourne but am willing to commute for the perfect house. I like going for beers at any opportunity i can, but also having a quiet night in. I like crafts and have my own little side business for fun, I play drums in a Hobart band (playing in Melb in Nov!) and am looking forward to finding the perfect ~melbourne coffee~. I have lived in many share houses (went to uni in Brisbane) so I am very respectful of peoples spaces and love a clean shared area.
Currently living in Bendigo but recently started working in the city and will be working in melbourne for at least the next 18 months (Government). I work shift work and will not be home most public holidays or weekends. A few of my hobbies include traveling, heading to the beach, camping/motorbike riding,SPORT, and the occasional drink at the local waterhole. Come summer you will find me on the lake wakeboarding most weekends that i get off (new housemate can obviously come and join in). Also don't mind occasionally just sitting back at home and catching up on anything netflix. I am a clean person who has lived with others in the past so i have a good idea of the unwritten rules needed to live with others. looking forward to meeting new people! 😊
I am a people person and I love a bit of community (that includes the TV show as well). I'm a muso, like to get around and explore the city and sneak in a few basketball games while I'm at it. I work full-time as a UX designer and I'd like to think I'm fairly clean and organized and hopefully, I'll be a good laugh too. Cheers!
Hi, my name is Kris and I am a chilled and easy going professional guy. I am 29 years old (big 30 not too far away) I enjoy keeping fit, cooking, socialising and travelling. if I did not work out I would be the size of a house as I just absolutely love good food. I have just received the incredible news that my visa has been approved for Melbourne and I cannot wait to explore what the city has to offer. I am moving to Melbourne from Scotland in Aug 2017 and looking for a place asap. I will be working late most days in the office and will be out and about at weekends exploring but would love to hang out when we are free. I am looking for an easy going flat mate who is clean and respectful and would like to get the odd beer/dinner together and is just a generally cool person.
My fur baby and I are looking for a new place to call home. I work full time in a cafe and enjoy going to the gym. My cat, Lazuli, is a Ragdolls and just over a year old. I'm looking for a place that is warm and peaceful, where I know Lazuli will be ok during the days I'm at work.
I'm an international undergraduate student, on my last semester at UniMelb. I have been sharing a flat with others the past 2 years so I am very experienced, responsible and tidy around the house. I always pay rent and bills on time. I'm also social but polite and not too loud, I respect other people's privacy - because I understand I also need privacy. I don't smoke and party. I'll usually be out during the days either working or studying, and be home at nights binge watching on my laptop. I love to explore yummy food, visit markets/popups, and go to concerts :)
Mostly lost, parts found. Dreamer, believer, wandered, explorer:) I am originally from India, and have been living in Preston since 1.5 years. Currently pursuing my Masters while interning with a responsible tourism company. I'm a fun loving, easy going person, who is almost always waiting to get out of the city. Love hiking and going for treks in the mountains:) Love being out and about, or just hanging out with friends. I thrive on good vibes so that's what you can expect from me. I like keeping my environment clean, decorating the house with pretty lights and always creating an ambience that suits the mood. I respect other's privacy, but I also like having someone to hang with. In phases i tend do get stuck to my bed watching shows or perhaps studying when i absolutely need to. Just looking for someone chilled out yet responsible to share a house with. To the right match...hope we find each other:)
Hello there people of Melbournia, I am on the lookout for a spacious room in South Yarra (or as close as) to share a home with some lovely people to share a home with. Move in by early August! I'm the kind of housemate who's guilty pleasure is trashy T.V, will keep the fridge stocked with hummus and can make a mean avocado on toast. I am a young full time professional, working as a Marketing Assistant as well as running my own business; Board Art Melbourne. I'm hoping someone will read this and think "what a coincidence I have a room AND it's in South Yarra (or as close as) I'm going to message Claire because she sounds awesome." MESSAGE ME :D
I'm orginally from the Gold Coast but I've spent the past 6 years living in New York and San Francisco. I just moved to Melbourne (never lived here before!) and am looking to live with one other person. I spend my time eating all the things, taking day trips away, attempting to find parks to run/exercise in, guzzling a nice amount of wine on weekends (and maybe a cheeky bevy during the week). I also love hosting dinner parties here and there and am super into watching stand up comedy. I love being around people but also appreciate down time (especially in the mornings). Looking for someone who feels the same way. Would be great to find a roomie who's into similar things but no biggie if not. Oh and I'm the one on the left. Feel free to add me on social if you wanna know more!
Hey there! I'm 24 and from New York. I've been living in Australia since March on a working holiday visa. The place I'm staying at now is only a sublet so I have to move out by September 18th, however I am planning to stay in Melbourne until March 2018. Hopefully I can find a place to call my own from September - March! I currently work as a waitress in a cafe. I'm a pretty chill and laid back person, so I tend to get along with everyone. I'm looking for a roommate who would be up for a chat after work, maybe a glass of wine or two, if we really get along maybe we can go wander around Melbourne together as well. But I am also very respectful of personal space and would appreciate a roommate who is the same. I have no problem cleaning and keeping the place tidy. I have lived with many roommates before so I basically know the deal. If I sound like your kind of person, shoot me over a message :)
I'm 23 and work full time in management consulting. I've been renting for the past 2 years so I am used to looking after a place and cooking/cleaning for myself. I am generally pretty quiet on weeknights because of work, but on the weekends I enjoy catching up with friends, going shopping and watching sport (go ESSENDON!!!). I also love travelling (my last trip was to Kenya, Tanzania, Egypt & Sri Lanka) and I'm a big Seinfeld buff. Would love to live with someone who is sociable and enjoys chilling out but not a dealbreaker if you're not! :)
We're a young, respectful, quiet couple currently living in South Aus looking to relocate to Vic. We are non smokers, tidy, working part time in retail and fans of board and card games. Looking for an easy going, relaxed household. We enjoy cooking, gardening and going to the movies, travelling. Looking to stay for at least 6 months or more. Hoping to team up or share with like minded housemate/s.
Working Nurse and Student Paramedic with tiny loving dog called Bandit. When I'm not at Work, Uni or hanging with friends or family I like to chill and read or go to the gym. I don't mind a drink or two but not a typical every weekend party going 20 year old. I am just looking around as I get closer to the end of my current lease and my flatmate is moving to Townsville. I'm pretty easy going and am very respectful of others privacy and happy to hang out too.
Hi we are Liz and Davide. Im Aussie and Davide is Italian. Just returned from living in London. We are a relaxed, chilled, and approachable couple. Love cooking, beer, wine, sleeping and travel. All the good things in life really! Davide is a chef and I'm in sales. We think we are good to live with. :) Hit us up!
I'm a Southern Californian native born and raised, have the greenest of thumbs, and the literal definition of a jack of all trades. Ain't nothin I can't do! Got my BA in Radio, TV, and Film, owned my own business for a while before moving to Japan for 4 years to teach English. Spent 3 weeks in oz a few years back, loved it so much I knew I'd be moving there after my contract in Japan was up! I'm currently a bartender and I LOVE it (my one cool trick is pouring rainbow shots, so heeeeey), and I'm on a work and holiday visa for the foreseeable year (get into Melbourne on August 10th). Looking to find someplace to call home and immerse myself into becoming a Melbournite... Melbournian? Melbs local! I'm no stranger to the city, LOVE it. As a Californian, I know all about fire season and droughts, so no worry about being Eco-conscious here! I'm clean, organized, and very self-aware. Not a water waster haha! I highly respect quiet and alone time, but love a few beers and a night out, or sharing a home-cooked meal (I like to bake...I hope you like to eat). My go-go dancing days in Osaka might be behind me but I still know how to have fun, whether in a group dynamic or by myself. If you wanna settle in for a movie night or games and beer then I'm there! I've just learned how to make a mean egg foo young, and my butt has a costco card so heeeeeey ya'll live-in bartender with perks here! :D Full disclosure: I'm coming into the country without a job (only so much you can do online!) but I have more than enough funds for several months to cover the lease, and I plan to hit the ground running and find employment asap! I'm super chill and laid back, tidy and organized (but not sterile), and responsible with the timely payment of bills and rent. Mature responsible person very good at adulting here! -I need a place with internet access -Private, furnished room -Short stay (~3 months) with room to increase stay (I shouldn't sign a longer lease if I can't find employment first, right? :D Hell if you know a place hiring then I'm down to sign a year lease!) I've been around, held all kinds of jobs, have all kinds of hobbies, and love all kinds of people. I'm animal-friendly (4 cats, 2 gerbils, and 2 box turtles here in Cali!) and super easy-going; also open to more places than those general suburbs I've listed, and willing to pay more on rent than I've listed if bills and internet are included, just an FYI. :) If you think we'd mesh well, I'd love to be your housemate! :) Any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm an open book :)
