I'm moving from Brisbane down to a new perm job in Carlton. A little bit about me: I enjoy sport (Golf, Cycling, Football (soccer)) and getting out and about exploring. I've previously lived in Melbourne and have some mates I'd be looking to get out and about with. I enjoy mucking around on my pc as well during my quiet time but i'm not socially inept. About you: I'd be looking to share with 1-2 people who would like to go out for a beer/meal every now and then but don't need to be in each others face the entire time. Current flatmate and I are more than happy doing our own thing but also go play golf together or have beers on the occasion. Have had quite a few shared hangovers. I'm a neat and tidy guy and have no issues even going halves/thirds in a cleaner to make things even easier around the house. I don't smoke and would be looking to live in a smoke free place. Let me know if I sound like someone you'd get along with. Cheers Les
I'm young and enthusiastic about living independently, I have a large amount of experience renting and am just coming to the end of my own 1 bedroom apartment lease. I'm well organised, punctuality means something to me, which means bills are always payed before the due date. Other than that I'm happy to socialise and help keep the place clean, because mess drives me insane.
Hi, My name is Quynh. Originally from Vietnam but I have been living in Australia for the last 12 years and Melbourne the last 4 years. I am a quiet introvert who also enjoy a glass of wine with good conversation. Tidy enough, reasonable, independent, come with no pet or smoke, stable full time employment.... it's starting to sound like a dating profile now so I'd better stop :p Looking forward hearing from you!
Hi, I am Guillaume. I am currently here in Melbourne for a 6-month mini. I shall describe me as a friendly and an open-minded person. I love all sports, but my favourites are: handball, hiking and running. I would like to find a place where I could have my own space, but with enough common spaces to have great moments as share a glass of wine, cook or chat. I ám looking for a shared home and not a share house. Cheers :-)
I'm an easy going guy, fun to talk to, a bit of a linguist and I love learning new languages. I'm a student at RMIT and currently undergoing a paid internship at WSP. I'm clean, tidy and I respect peoples privacy but I do enjoy the occasional cold one with a bit of conversation. Love sports so always down to talk about any of them. All in all, I'm a decent guy and a fun person to have around the house.
Hey! We are Lydia and Sean, a couple looking to start a new place (a house of three or four) at the end of July. We're hoping for a house that allows some kind of studio space for art and music projects. Here's a bit about each of us: Lydia: At the moment I'm studying a masters while also managing a cafe full-time. I'm generally interested in painting, jazz, shit jokes, and cooking - I'll tend to fill up my spare time with these things. An ideal home for me includes a backyard (veggie patch?), a space to paint and play piano, and a kitchen big enough to cook with friends sometimes. Sean: I'm a full-time landscape architect, and casual folk musician. I'm hoping for a house somewhere leafy, but close enough to commute to the CBD. I will often be practicing music [quietly(sometimes)], going to see live music, visiting parks and planning music endeavours. Suburbs we're thinking of: Inner North (Brunswick, Northcote, Thornbury, Ascot Vale, Moonee Ponds) Inner West (Yarraville, Seddon, Footscray, North Melbourne) Ideally we'd like to pay less than 180 each per week, and are considering renting a second room/space within the dwelling for a study/music/art space. This could be a shared space amongst the household if you need a creative space too. We have plenty of furniture to begin the makings of a new house and can gather some essentials. We'd like a friendly and connected house dynamic, but one that upholds respect for personal possessions and spaces. We're both tidy and considerate, and intend for everyone we live with to feel very much at home. Can't wait to hear from you!
I come from New Delhi, India. Moving to Melbourne for Masters in RMIT. Interior Designer by profession so will always keep the house tastefully decorated. I love watching films, socialising and learn new things. I love to explore untapped places and learn about different cultures. I love to talk (anything/everything) along with being an exceptional listener :D I ll always be up for brunches/drinks in the weekends or treks for that fact.
I'm currently working part time at a gym in the CBD whilst studying Sport Management/Business at Victoria University. I'm pretty easy going about most things so I'm pretty open to most living situations. I do like to enjoy myself and have a few beers on weekends but am definitely respectful of other people if they need a bit of peace quiet. I'm fairly busy throughout the week but I'll always have time to pitch in and do my bit around the house.
Hi, I'm Theresa and I'll be moving from Canberra to Melbourne for work. I'm looking for a room preferably in or close to the city. I work in the Public Service and I have been living in shared accommodation for more than five years. I am a clean and respectful housemate and would like to find a place with friendly housemates who are up for a chat and the occasional meal/drink together. Happy to talk more if you have a room or if you'd like to team up to find somewhere.
Hard working creative couple looking for somewhere to call home, Rhys (Australian) plays bass in a local Melbourne band and works full time as a luthier. Alex (Kiwi) is a painter and works full time as an Artist out of her studio in Brunswick. We have been living together for the past couple of years both on our own and with housemates. Would love to find a relaxed and friendly place to call home. We enjoy a few wines but also love our sleep. Both of us have a love of travelling and like to get out of the city for weekends away and day trips exploring new places. We are flexible with move in dates.
Hey my names Jessica, Im 28 and a lawyer who is relocating from Perth. Would consider myself a outgoing person, enjoy being active - going to the gym almost daily, going out to dinner and events and meeting new people. Looking for something with some career orientated and outgoing individuals.
I am a mature 27 year old Canberran who has just moved back to Australia on June 1st after having spent the last 4 years in Canada. I have worked full time as a bartender over that period, in both Vancouver and Whistler, after studying an undergrad in International Relations at ANU. I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future in Melbourne. I am a very easy-going, clean and considerate housemate who enjoys making new friends and socialising, sharing a 6 pack/bottle of wine or a home cooked family dinner, going to a footy game and even binge watching a TV show together, but also respects the need for each others privacy and down time. Hobbies include snowboarding, biking, hiking, Aussie Rules, live music, reading and just hanging out with friends. I am a non-smoker who doesn’t own any pets nor plan to in the future.
Hi I'm Mel, I am a young professional who has just recently moved to Melbourne. I am looking to team up with one or two other girls to set-up a new place, but I am also open to moving into an existing share house with some welcoming and friendly people. I am looking for my own room and preferably my own bathroom (but I can be flexible with sharing a bathroom if needed). I also need a place with car parking, it would be ideal to have a secure car park, but street parking is ok too. I generally try and keep a pretty happy balance between my work and social life. I work full time and in my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends (brunches, dinners, cheese platters & wine etc.). I love meeting new people and given I am new to Melbourne I'd love a housemate who was happy to hang out from time to time and explore Melbourne with me. I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to team up, or if you have an existing room in your home where you think I'd be a good fit.
Hi my name is Thomas I have been living back in Melbourne for a few months now and have just gotten a promotion as manger at the restaurant I work at so I’m looking for something closer to my work. I work fulltime, 5-6 days a week. I’m quite laid back and don’t mind having a cold brew and listening to music on my days off, I’m very sociable and love going out to have a boogie with friends every now and again but I’m very respectful of others so I will never bring the party back home. I love to cook great food and don’t mind sitting down for a good chat or just relaxing in front of the tv. If this sounds like what you are looking for please don’t hesitate to contact me or msg me on here. Thank you
Hey guys, My name is Jenna, I’m in my mid 30’s, work full time and also an online student through OUA. I have previous experience living in a share-house environment. I’m tidy, considerate and reliable with bills/rent etc. My interests are mountain biking, hiking, traveling, and writing. I’m a bit of a book worm and also a Star Wars nerd. I love chilling out with a beer or glass of wine, going to gigs and watching movies. I'm also vegan, easy going, social but also love time to myself. Ideally, I would love to live with someone who I can be friends with and hang out with on occasion. I also have two super cute kittens. Both are rescues – Marley, is 8 months old, a bit of a princess and likes to keep to herself. Eevee is 6 months old and will love you to death Pepe’ Le Pew style. So HMU if you've got the place for me!
Happy person, smiling and easy going. I like to catch up for a glass of wine with my friends and flatmates, but also love the easy night at home. I'm a good cook and appreciate to share meals with other. And also very important I always pay my rent on time ;)
Nerd. Introvert. Work in progress. Nerd girl with delusions of literary grandeur & a love for music, bad movies, scifi & fantasy and my dog. I love games, books and comics. I love art and travel and poetry. I love to cook and bake and take care of those I love. I don't care much for clubbing or huge parties, though I am a fan of board game nights or hanging out watching movies or trashy tv. I have an 18 month old golden retriever named Mal who would be coming with me - he's very friendly and a big snug bug.
An international student from Mumbai, India.. Studying Masters of Chemical Sciences at La Trobe university. I am Looking to accommodate with international students around the area. I will be working part time and have good experience in work. I would love to share house with not only Indian students but especially with students from other countries as well. I would consider myself as very friendly and often love spending time with others. I like to cook, although I'm a beginner at the moment. I don't mind partying occasionally but I would need quiet time for me at a times too. Over all I would say I could be a good friend, housemate. :)
Hi all, I'm Andy (25) from Germany and commenced my PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of Melbourne in December 2017. I am looking for a more long-term accommodation, which is preferably affordable, not that far from the Uni and features some great flatmates. I am able to move in from the begin of July, but the date is quite flexible. Thanks to my PhD, I'm quite busy during the week but never shy of a chat and/or a glass of beer or wine in the evening. Besides my PhD, I am playing a bit of soccer and show general interests in sports. On the weekend, I'm always keen for a funny evening/night at a bar, in the cinema or a relaxed day with some brunch and coffee. In general, I'm quite tidy and like to have a good relationship to my flatmates (at least that's what I did the last years). If you have any spare room for me and want me to become one of your next flatmates, feel free to send me a message! Cheers, Andy
