Hi We are Amanda & Jake from London. We are both in our late 20's (Amanda is turning 30 this month) We are in Australia on a WHV and have been living in Sydney for the past 6 months. Jake is a carpenter by trade and Amanda works with children. We are both non-judgey vegetarians. We enjoy socialising and equally having quiet nights in. We both like to keep active in our spare time by going to the gym, swimming, climbing, and are also keen beach goers. We enjoy the arts in particular music, film and the theatre. We both have experience living in a shared house as we have been doing so since arriving in Australia. We are clean and tidy and respectful of peoples space and property. We are happy to live with pets (especially dogs) Feel free to get in touch. Amanda & Jake
Hi, I'm looking for a place close to work. I work full time as a digital manager, and spend a lot of time outside of work at the gym or being active. I'm very respectful of my housemates, their space, and their property. Always pay bills on time and happy to contribute and adapt to the dynamic of the household: whether that means giving you space or hanging out - I'm always up for friendly chat or hang. I do my own dishes, keep my things clean and don't take up a lot of space.
Hi! I am a Monash student who just had a year off to go back home to Sweden and visit my family, but now I'm back again! I am doing my full bachelor at Monash University and have 1.5 years left. Therefore, I'm looking for a room to rent during this period (not shorter than 6 months at least). I would love to stay in a friendly house with a few mates to hang out with sometimes when there is time, but of course I respect and want alone time as well. I'm outgoing and excited to meet new people at the same time as I will be studying full time and working part time. I am very flexible with where I live, as long as it is not a million hours away from Monash. The areas I've put above are just some examples of areas I would be more than happy to live in. If this sounds like someone you want in your house, then send me a message! :D I am not in Melbourne until the 26th but after that I am happy to meet up and check out your place! Cheers! Frida
Hi All! I'm Murad, 26, working full time as a financial auditor. I am from Azerbaijan. I have been living in Melbourne for almost 5 years now. I am looking for a sharehouse in suburbs not too far away from city. I'm flexible to share with both students and/or people working full time :)
I've spent the last 9 years traveling all over the world for both work and for fun. I'm originally from Michigan but left at the ripe old age of 21. A short list of who I am: I've been told by other nationalites that I'm not 'loud' like American's are often known to be, I'm clean, do regular exercise, love to read and write, dance whenever possible (wearing headphones of course), and roller-skate (quads, not blades). I'm a genuine people person, but also really, really cherish my 'me time’ especially at home, and in return have no intention of disrupting yours. I will absolutely be working full-time and always keep busy in other after-work activities. I'm only interested in living with other busy professionals and *non-partiers*. I am a non-drinker and a non-smoker, but a regular dose of dancing keeps me young and quite happy. During my Working Holiday Visa I will be looking to both enhance my professional life (Team Building and Leadership Training) as well as continue with a few odd jobs I do as freelance (writing, coaching, voice-overs). My main goal is to learn to surf, catch some festivals, all the usual things you want to do when you turn 30. Currently I have only requested a 4 month stay in this area as I search for the right [Professional] job across Australia, where ever that may take me. I have a sister that lives in Melbourne, which is why I'm starting my trip there. :) Thank you for your time and interest. My best always, Laura
Hello! I'm a tidy, easy-going 30 yo Taiwanese-Kiwi. I was a training surgeon in my previous life but I'm moving to Melbourne to re-train in Health Administration. Looking for equally relaxed, non-smoking flatmates in Melbourne's inner city suburbs
Hi! I’ve just moved to Melbourne after six and a half years in London and am from Wellington originally. I work for a bank in the financial services industry and like to fill my time with yoga, cooking, films, comedy and live music, and socialising. I’ve moved here by myself so looking for a flat which is quite social, but one where I can also chill out, and call home as well.
Hey, I'm a 26y/o full time profession. Looking for a whole property place instead of apartments. I'm tidy, love cooking (wouldnt mind sharing my dumplings :p) and always down for a banter. I have some plants that could brighten up the place too! Would love to end up being good mates with future housemates! I do need a car space or some sort of arrangements!
Hiii, I am 29 and work full time in Hawthorn. I am very easy going, sociable and very clean and tidy! I do love some down time but am looking for like minded people who are up for a casual drink, stroll to the shops for a coffee and chat and are fun to be around! I do have a little 8 months old kitten who is super cute, friendly and well toilet trained. I have all house furnishing and appliances but am pretty flexible :)
Hello! I'm moving to Melbourne next February to study English in Impact College. I'd like to be as close to the city center as possible. I'm an easy-going person, don't smoke or drink and I am very respectful of other's space. Some others preferences about the place would be: *Need a study desk or study room in a public area of the building. *No bunk bed. * Rent not over 200/week (INCLUDING BILLS). Please let me know if there's anything you'd like to ask or if you have a room within my budget :)
I am a 25 year old girl looking for a place in Fitzroy or Collingwood. I have lived in Melbourne for 4 years now and have just got back from travelling so need a new place to stay (preferably long term). I work in clinical trials and I am also a yoga teacher. I am pretty laid back, enjoy a wine and a dance at the weekend but I work pretty long hours so usually just hang out and chill during the week. In my spare time I love cooking, going to the gym/yoga, spending time in cafes and bars or going on trips into nature. Although I have a good group of mates in Melbourne I am really looking to move into a house with like minded people that can be mates and are up for a chat when home at the same time. It would be great to live with people that aren't really uptight about things but respect the house and keep things clean etc. I am looking for somewhere asap so please give me a shout if you would like to know anything else :)
I am a 32 yo communicative, open minded biologist from Germany. I like to meet new people, to hang out together, be outside and do sports :) Of course, I love to travel and I'm down to basically every activity, like skiing, snowboarding, kitesurfing, skydiving, camping, festivals, hiking, scuba diving and so on. I enjoy a comfy evening with food and tea or wine as much as a night out. Last year, I finished my PhD and am about to start as a post doc in Melbourne in February 2019, for 2 to 4 years. My move to Australia is scheduled for the end of January. I won't bring any furniture, so would be happy to move into a furnished room. If you have any question, just drop me a line:)
Easy going 26 year old that's lived in Melbourne my whole life. Returned recently from overseas and looking for a new place. Currently working full time in the CBD in the finance game, 9-5 during the week and love to come home and have a drink, watch some Netflix, maybe gym and chill out. I rate my cooking ability and my Nonna has taught me a few things I'm happy to share. I have a few friends around the area and am looking for a place to call home for 6 months while I wait for a friends lease to run out. I've been well trained and am a respectful housemate, I do smoke but obviously as I'm not a savage this will only be done outside. I’m looking for a social house with easy going people so if you think I'm your boy let me know!
Hi there, my name is Sebastian and I'm a 23 year old student living in Vienna, Austria. I'm a very sociable and open-minded person with a great sense of humor and I will always have an open ear for you or advice if you need some. I'm very adventurous and both love to go out partying or having a nice dinner with friends, but also just to chill at home and spend a cosy evening in front of the TV. In my spare time I really like to go to the gym or spend some time in the nature. I'm a very easy and uncomplicated type of person and get along with everyone. I'd love to build up a great friendship with my flatmate and in best case even find someone who joins me travelling through the country :) I'm very tidy and reliable, you don't have to worry about not getting the rent on time. If this fits to you, feel free to contact me :) all the best, Sebastian

Hi all! We are 2 super friendly Canadian girls here in Aussie on our second year Working Holiday Visas. We studied Graphic Design and Urban Planning back in Toronto. Both of us are into spending Friday nights out on the town, or in with pizza and beer. Love meeting new people and friends, and experiencing new things! We're looking for a place within Melbourne CBD and close surrounding areas, also leaning towards a 3 month stay, with either a shared room with 2 single beds, or 2 private rooms. Cheers!
Hello! I'm Amelia, I work as a PA in property, originally from the south coast of England, currently in London but moving to Melbourne at the end of December to escape the cold amongst other things! (not the law). Big into yoga, enjoy running, like swimming, love a glass (or 3) of wine and partial to a good box set. I'm funny-ish (hopefully), pretty easy going, respectful of others, good with a vacuum cleaner AND I'm not a weirdo - what more could you ask for?! :) Staying with friends when I first arrive so would be looking to move somewhere mid Jan but can be flexible. Looking for a house or flat share with similar minded and aged people, who like to spend time together but equally have their own lives too. Get in touch if that doesn't sound too awful! :)
