Hello you lovely bunch of people, I'm moving to Melbourne at the end of Feb/early March and currently looking for a place in Carlton/Fitzroy/ Collingwood/Richmond with some sound people! Hoping for a move-in date of March 1-18. I'll be working full-time at Deakin (doing my PhD in children's health/exercise) so I'm hoping for some good public transport connections. About me, I'm originally from San Francisco but have been living in Germany for the last 3.5 years. I'm a tidy and respectful housemate and will be busy during the week. I'm more than happy for a cheeky weekend night out, festival going, camping/exploring/anything to do with being outside! I mostly (try to) live a healthy and active lifestyle and am hoping to find likeminded people! Also always up for live gigs, listening to vinyls, hunting down some op shop goods, and exploring vegan food options! Major bonus if you have a dog and veggie patch x If you've made it this far and think we might get along as housemates, feel free to send me a PM! Budget is $250 p/w but could go a bit higher for extras (furnished, gym, etc.) Thanks for reading and hope to speak soon!
Hi, My name is Esmeralda, I'm 25 years old, I have a bachelors of architecture and I will be moving from Mexico to Melbourne to work and study visual arts for two years. I'm more of a day-time person and although I don't party very much I still love to spend time with friends, hangout after work or on the weekend and I also enjoy having time time to myself. I like art, design, and anything involving creativity, I love making things, spending time in nature, and discover new ways to enjoy life.
I'm a visiting PhD student from Denmark, I will spend 3 - 4 months in Melbourne, hoping to find a studio/flat in CBD. I would prefer to rent the whole property, but I wouldn't mind a shared flat either. Im clean and easygoing. love animals, films, and good food.
Hey y'all, I am Colletta and am looking for a private room between Melbourne CBD and Caulfield :) I am recently moving from Cairns, QLD and will be studying at Monash University. I would describe myself as bubbly, busy, clean and minimal, financially reliable, having many hobbies and an introvert so I will be either out of the house a lot or in my room, so probs won't bother you. I also don't smoke or drink, and am basically a nun, but like a cool nun. K I'll stop :( I am pre chill and not really fussy, just looking for a housemate who is clean, will help me navigate Melbourne and have some fat chats. :)
24 y.o female who will be studying a master’s course. I lived in Malaysia for my bachelor’s degree and am used to share a unit with other people. I know the ethics of sharing common space, and care about hygiene. Friendly, but at the same time respect other’s personal space.
Currently travelling around the world & will be coming back to study in Melbourne in March! Looking for a relatively relaxed space in which I can feel at home and totally myself. Obsessed with reading, creating, art, learning and travelling. Would be amazing to share my living space with like-minded individuals!
Hi there, my name is Evan from the Northern Beaches of Sydney and will soon be relocating to Melbourne to complete my Sonography clinical work. I will be working full time and would ideally like to find a place close to Richmond which is where my work hours are based. Im looking to find somewhere to stay with like-minded professionals. I'm tidy, friendly, love a chat and also time to myself. In my spare time I'll be training at the gym and exploring Melbourne as my new home. Looking for somewhere with a flexible length of stay to start. On/off street parking would be great too! Let me know if I'd be a suitable flatmate! Thanks Evan
Iam Hana from Czech republic going to Australia for work and travel visa. Iam looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. Iam friendly, positive person full of energy. I solemnly swear that I am up to no good (laugh). I love meeting new people and making new friends, cooking but mainly traveling around the world and explore new places, cultures and souls. I would like to share my travel stories with my new friends :-)
Hello! I’m looking for a room in a house occupied by professionals or students preferably in their mid 20s or 30s. I’m a respectful housemate who will clean up after myself and be mindful of volume. I’m quite social but also enjoy my alone time, so I’d love to have a chat or a dinner if that’s the vibe, but will also allow you your space. I’m a nurse which means often I have to get up early, so as much as I enjoy a wine on a night off, I’m looking for a place that isn’t a “party” household. Please note my move-in date is flexible.
Yoh! I am Max. Me and my friend Almaz are looking for a roomie (female only) to teamup with. Both studying and 20, we associate ourselves with the words : outgoing, chilled-out, tidy, clean. Enjoy our nights in, also want to build a zen place (full of plants) to call home. If you think you might dig us, let us know :)
I’m a full time PhD candidate close to submission and have got a job offer. Born in China, I have been to melbourne for 8 years and well house trained. I enjoy good food, racket sports and good sleep. I’m tidy, responsible, hardworking, sharing and down-to-earth - the common sense really. I don’t drink to get drunk. I don’t have tattoos or piercing. I don’t like parties but for socializing I would go sometimes. I’m looking for someone with similar traits.
Hi! I'm Jean (22), and am moving from Sydney to work part time and study full time at Monash Uni in a post-graduate psychology degree. An easy going, bubbly op-shop enthusiast, who's marginally addicted to exploring food joints and making conversation with strangers and their dogs. I'm a regular at-home meal girl, so I know how to use a kitchen and keep it clean. Strangely enough, I relish in tidying, so an unkept house won't be an issue with me. Often found galavanting on a mountain or beach, but always down for the casual night out or in (cheap wine and decent humour highly regarded). I also enjoy my productive alone time, so I know how to respect that if you do too. I'm flexible with the moving date. I start uni on the 4th of March, so ideally I would like to be settled before then. Please throw me as many questions as needed! I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I am an Indian girl pursuing my Master's in Chemical Engineering from University of Melbourne. I have my elder sister who is going to share a room with me and is a graduate student at RMIT. I love singing, dancing, cooking and reading books. I'm looking for people with whom I can share a place.
My name is Ollie and I will be moving from Sydney in Feb to start studying theatre full time at VCA. I’ll probably be spending most of my time either at uni or working. I’m very neat and clean and I love to cook big dinners. I also make really good martini’s if you’re into that. Not really a party person but I have my moments, I’m more of a go out twice a year and get home before midnight kind of dude though. I’m a very creative and easy-going person, I write, act, paint, sing, you name it. I’m the kind of guy who always cleans his toothpaste out of the sink and never leaves a kitchen untidy. In Sydney I work at the aquarium; I do tours and talks so if you want someone around who will ace any useless marine trivia nights I’m a solid investment. I’m hoping to transfer over to Melbourne aquarium when I move. I would love to be in a household of other creative people, and LGBTI friendly is a must as I am a queer transgender male. I also eat meat so you’d need to be okay with that! Looking for the kind of place where everyone is respectful of eachother's space, but also open to sharing a meal or a glass of wine.
I will be relocating to Melbourne from Sydney for work. I work full time as a Mechanical Engineer and in my spare time I enjoy being active or outdoors, but also love a night in, relaxing with a drink or two. I'm a big foodie and a concert junkie. I'm looking for housemates who are keen to have dinners / watch movies / go out for a few drinks on the weekend. Living in share houses for the past 4 years, I know the importance of being clean, tidy and respectful. Hopefully I can find a great place to live, and even greater housemates to live with!
Recently moved to Melbz (from NZ). Working as a software Engineer (i.e. I'll be able to afford all the rent and bills easily). I'm relatively tidy (doesn't leave dishes in the sink etc), friendly (enjoy a drink and a laugh) but also lead a busy life, etc, all the usual stuff. I'm looking to find a new place ASAP because the place I'm currently in seems a bit dodgy legally - and I'd rather not being involved with dodgy stuff any more than is necessary. So - one thing I'm looking for is something where things are done properly (e.g. written agreements, not paying rent in cash, etc.) Other than that I guess just living with nice people (if applicable)
Me and my roomate are really easy going, we like to cook, watch movies and walk around the city. We are loking for a room for us to share, without bunkbeds. We are both students and part time workers. We like to hang out with friends but we are not crazy for huge parties. We are currently living in the CBD, but there is a construction on the side of our window and it is getting louder and louder.
Hey mates! I'm a Colombian student living in Melbourne. I work as a nanny part time. I like to do yoga and I usually travel on weekends. I would like to find a nice place for living in such as a tidy, quiet and friendly home.
