Hey there! My name is Dan and I'm a 23 year old American from Boston. My girlfriend, who is 19 and Dutch, and I are looking for a room to rent starting as soon as possible. We have just arrived in Melbourne from Byron Bay and are currently looking for work in sales or hospitality. We both are very outgoing and easy to get along with. We like to go out and have a good time once in a while but also love to just chill and a hang out. Some of our interests include: travel, sports (soccer/football/basketball), music, and socializing.
Hi! We are Pavi and Manon (English and French) and we are both 20yo. We are exchange students at Monash University. We have been in Melbourne since last July and we lived in halls on campus (Clayton) during our first semester here. However we would like to live closer to the city so we are looking for a place to stay near Melbourne CBD for the next coming months. We enjoy eating (a lot!) so we are always looking for new places to go and eat. We also like to cook ourselves so it would be nice to have flatmates who do too! We are also always up for a drink (or two) with our friends. We are gym buddies so we are going on a regular basis to the gym. Sometimes we also enjoy staying home with a good movies/series to watch. And finally we love travelling and exploring new places around Melbourne! We are easy-going, tidy and clean. We are looking forward to meeting you! Pavi and Manon
I'm a very chill, laid-back guy, came to do my Masters at Monash, loves to hang out when I'm free, always up for a drink in the living room and respectful of others independence. I play guitar, cook good food, and enjoy a run ! Looking for a short term accommodation (3-4 months) near the city !
I'm James, a 25 yr old kiwi working in advertising. I have been in Melbourne since April and am looking for a quiet and sunny room in a central inner-east suburb. I'm a laid back, friendly guy who is looking for a place to call home and to make new friends and hang out - but I also enjoy a bit of quiet time. I like things to be clean and tidy, but I'm always up for having friends over for a few drinks during the weekend. I work in advertising, so if I'm busy you may not see me for a couple of days, but at the end of the week I'll be craving a few drinks and a good laugh. I enjoy eating out, seeing exhibitions and going to gigs, as well as making the effort to squeeze the odd run in too. Can cook, and happy to share meals if you are too.
Hello I'm Stefani, a creative mind filled with wonder and excitement, I look for adventure and enjoy meeting new people. Well ladies and gents I am light hearted and relaxed in nature, there will always be laughter and friendship. I do love to cook as food excites me. I am a respectful and thoughtful person. I love to go out and explore, attended festivals, night markets, try great food, honestly anything. I work in a law firm within the CBD, no not a lawyer hehe, I attend the gym after work hours, am looking to take up some more fitness classes which means I'm generally out and about unless having a night in. I am hoping to come across a person or persons that I can share dinners, drinks and laughter with as I do not want to live in a place where we stick to only our rooms and barely know one another.
HiI I'm Ruwanthi,I'm a 23 yr old Srilankan who will be starting a Masters at unimelb in Feb. I'm an easy to live with and fun person who is always up for a chat, but I'm also very quite and will respect your privacy. Really exited to be coming to Melbourne and meeting my new flatmates :D
Hey! I am seeking a new humble abode since moving out of home. I'm studying Nursing, enjoy a glass of wine and kitchen hangs, keeping fit and occasionally binge watching Netflix! The ideal house would hopefully have a garden (big or small), decent shower water pressure and a few legends to share good chats with. I would love to hear from you if think I might be a good addition to your place!
I am a really easy going person, and I am more than happy to tidy up after others if they've had a rough day. I used to be a beautician so I love spray tanning and whatnot ;) However now I work full time time in the city, so I try to go to the gym in mornings so I can come home to relax and binge watch tv shows during the week. I do also try to enjoy my weekends whether it be over a good brunch in the morning, a few drinks woth friends at night.
I travel a lot so don't keep too many possessions which makes keeping clean easy. Currently finishing some study and will begin full-time work. I'm easy to get along with and like meeting people so usually up for anything. I'm from Australia, I like video games, scuba diving, travelling and a whole range of things.
My name is Darren and I'm a 25 year old who works full time in IT in the CBD. I'm looking to find a down to earth flatmate or two or three in a nice place we can call home. I love a good beer, trying new food and hanging out with likeminded people. I'm an ideal person to live with as I love to be social but will also always be respectful of your space. I'm a TV and movie buff and I love a good Netflix (I'll bring the account) binge. I also love watching sport such as NBA, AFL, NFL and anything else you can think of. During the week I'm often down for a few quiet drinks and on weekends I am usually out and about socialising with friends. I am a smoker but am always respectful of others and will keep it outside and away from others. I'm looking for a place with a car spot that is close to public transport. If you want to know anything more about me don't hesitate to contact :)
Hey, So I work a few different jobs as well doing some online content which generates extra revenue. I work teaching swimming in Box Hill, as a barback at a wine/cocktail bar in Richmond and mostly I work at a Gaming Lounge in Southbank. Reliable with rent and considerate when it comes to the living situation. I enjoy watching a bunch of movies and TV shows and good to share my Netflix haha. I also enjoy playing games and spend a lot of time on my computer, whether that be from playing or working. Lastly I enjoy a good drink.
Hi! My name is Roni I am 23 from California. I will be attending Monash to complete my Masters in Social Work. I am super laid-back and like to have a good balance between my social and personal time. I live a very balanced lifestyle and like to have fun while making sure to take care of my body. I have been living in share houses/apartments since I started uni at age 18 so I know how to be a respectful housemate and I expect the same of my housemates. Above all, I am open-minded and like my home to be a comfortable space for everyone. I do tend to like larger bedrooms so please let me know if you think it would be a good fit! I am pretty flexible with lease length as I will be around for at least 2 years, but ideally would like to start end of January! Cheers

I'm 21 and a Artist/Song Writer and I'm coming over to pursue my career in music this will be my first time living in Melbourne and the idea of living in the City will be a dream come true. Thank you
I'm Chris, 24, soon to start a new full-time job as a maths education specialist in South Melbourne! (I'm very excited about it!) I have been living in a wonderful sharehouse in Clayton for three years, but sadly we're parting ways, and I'd like to move a bit closer to where I'll be working. I'm an easygoing mix of sociable and introverted, good with cleaning up after using common areas, and always keen to communicate to resolve any potential conflicts. (My current housemates Mary, Rosie, Steven, and XuTing can put in a good word for me too) I take a positive attitude to life, and try to make every place I go even better than the when I arrived. My hobbies include swing dancing, juggling, board games, and discussions about philosophy and society. And generally learning new ideas and skills :P Also I can bring a sweet sound system for chilled tunes or movies/tv (respecting people's need for peace & quiet, of course). Ideally I'm looking to find a place near South Melbourne (up to 215pw). If that doesn't work, a cheap place near Caulfield or Camberwell or similar (up to 170pw) could work too if it's near a train line. Moving sometime in Feb. Can bring my own furniture if necessary.
27 year old world citizen, born in Darwin, educated in Adelaide. Quiet to live with, witty like Mila Kunis, meticulously cleaner, occasional wine and whisky drinker. Wild Spirit. Hungry Learner. Everlasting Dreamer. Professional Giggler. Expert Pillow-Fort Maker. Curious Bookworm. Social Entrepreneur. Compulsive Explorer. What I am looking for: A quiet, clean place I can come home to after a long days work. Housemates who are respectful and equally share the cleaning and care of the house/apartment. A double bed. No shared rooms please. What I can offer: Great intellectual conversation. I am a fantastic cook! My dad jokes are legendary. Easy going person who you can have a glass of wine with at the end of the day. Brilliant storyteller. Ridiculously clean person and very respectful of other people's space. If you want to know more, please feel free to message. I would love to hear from you!
From Perth and here for a year (hopefully more!), working full time in Port Melbourne in events. Clean, very interesting with some intense banter. I enjoy thrift shopping, markets, bar hopping and having some great laughs. Looking for a fun house mate or house share. I promise you it will be interesting! 😊
We are a very friendly, clean and reliable couple from Germany. We visit Australia for one year on a working holiday. We are still looking for a full time job and are often out of the house for work or to enjoy the nice city.
I am friendly, relaxed and easygoing and feel it's important to live in a 'home' not just a 'house' with respect for one another in all areas of living and sharing including cleanliness, prompt payment of rent and bills and privacy. I run my own Business and not home a lot but when I am, I enjoy chilling out with a glass of wine (or2) whilst cooking up a storm, engaging in one of my art projects, listening to some tunes, watching a good movie, or catching up with friends.
Hey guys :)! A friend and I are both students at Monash Clayton and are looking for two rooms to stay until December. I study Arts (english and philosophy major) and Leo studies environmental science and history. We're both sociable but respectful, quiet at home, tidy and easy going. Hobbies include reading, poetry, gaming and outdoor adventures. I also work part time at a call centre (over 2 years) and plan to start my masters in high school teaching in 2018 =).
Hi there, my name is Melanie and I am a 21 year old Danish girl currently living in Melbourne. I work full-time in a coffee shop in the CBD, so I'll be gone during the day time, but I do have weekends off. I'm interested in hanging out and spending time with my flatmates, but at the same time I would respect if you would rather keep to yourself. I love picnics, hikes, going to the beach, and in general being outside. I also love discussing everything or nothing over a glass of wine. Cheers!
So the story goes that I need to find a little home before the second week of February, because my current house is seddon is getting demolished. Which is such a shame. But im shanelle, I am 19. Although I do get told a lot that I seem older. I'm very independent, good with money management. I currently work full time at this awesome cafe in cremorne. I'm a very clean/ organised person. I'll be happily bringing a handful of plants into the home and no doubt more to come. I love design. Food is a huge part of me, i love to cook and will be more than happy to cook for my housemates here and there. During the week I do keep pretty busy. I try to do bikram yoga as often as I can. Come the weekend I do love a glass of wine and keen for a dance. I don't want to be living in a party house. But more so a home that you get along with everyone and be friends and live happily ever after. Send me a message if you are curious and want to know more, probably prefer to have a catch up over coffee if possible
Hello all! I am a 32 year old female who just came back to Melbourne to get my second degree. I work full time and will be busy most of the time, but also enjoy being sociable. My hobbies include dancing, yoga, pilates, and going on adventures..I also love to experience new things!

Hiya, I'm a 22year old English girl here on a working holiday visa. Currently looking for a sublet or room to rent for the next 4-6 weeks. I'm working fulltime in a restaurant in Fitzroy so anywhere in the nearby suburbs would be ideal! I love to travel and meet new people. Currently saving for my next adventure but the rent at my hostel is sky high so am looking to move out asap! I'm easy to get on with and can respect peoples personal space. Would love to live with some like minded people who are keen for socialising and the odd night out etc!
Hi! Full time student from Argentina, doing a master of engineering at unimelb. You won't have to worry about keeping the place clean and tidy. I suck at playing musical instruments, so I wont make loud noises either. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Howdy! I'm a German/Chinese/Fijian guy who has just returned back to Melbourne after a yearish of travel. I'm a Sport Scientist by degree, however I decided I would rather be a bartender, so that's what I'm doing at the moment, as well as operating a small business and trying to get a few other projects off the ground, all while simultaneously trying to figure out the complexities of the world and the nature of things. I'm a friendly and honest person, who enjoys the company of down to earth people. Always up for a movie night, game of chess, drinks, in depth conversation and having fun.
Hi future house mate, I’m Damien. I’ve spent my whole life living and working in regional areas of Australia so now it's time to head to the big city for a while. Key Facts - Originally from Coffs Harbour. - Almost 27 - Aspiring Frenchman - Accountant (don’t hold it against me) - Coffee - Sport and fitness I'm a fun and relaxed guy with experience living in share houses with both guys and girls. I'd prefer a social household where I can have a chat, share a meal and head out for a drink or gig (or both) every so often. Having said that I am independent and can entertain myself. When it comes to shared responsibilities I always pull my weight and I prefer a tidy house. I understand that everyone has their own lives and socials commitments and I am respectful of that. Cheers
Hi there, I’m Jess, a mid-twenties woman seeking a new abode to call home for a year, getting back into the health industry professionally after travelling a bit in 2016. I love a good laugh, having great conversations with others about experiences, philosophy, science, systems and nature. I like getting current with my housemates world and am a low maintenance kind of person, humble, clean and respectful of people’s belongings and personal time as well. I like to practice yoga and dancing, am into art platforms such as dancing, documentaries, paintings, sculptures, colour, nature, journalism publications, film and food. Heavy metal music is not my cup of joy personally, but like all other music genre. I am looking to move into a nice private room (whether existing or starting up a share-house) in the inner North suburbs by early Feb. Max budget $180 per week including bills, or some bills. A place that has space to move around in, some greenery, friendly people to co-habitat with that are independent, enjoy establishing good connections with those they interact with, and are considerate of others time, habits and ideas will be suitable. I am open to teaming up with like-minded folks interested in establishing a chill, easy- going environment to live in as well, so message me if you’re searching for a new place also with the suburbs I’ve tagged, and think we’d make a good fit. [I’ve minimal furniture to offer (only bedroom furniture, crockery, a blender and a table) but willing to resourcefully set up a house with others for the things we each require] A bathroom with a separate toilet will be a bonus, including a gas cooker, and a green patch nearby the property, or within it. I also do not have a car, so looking for a place close to PT, 15 minute walk max to a train station. I've share housing experience also and always proactive with paying rent and shared bills on time, and will continue at the next place I move to. Thank you for taking the time to read my description. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting good vibe people, Jess
Hey! I'm a 27 year old professional (scientist) looking for a place in the Richmond/Hawthorn area - either by joining an established place or teaming up with people/s. Lover of brunch, good chai/iced coffee, AFL (swans), netflix, road trips, netball and other such things. I'm originally from Tassie but been in melb 4 or so years now. I work full time shift work which includes stints of night shifts and weekend work. I prefer to head out with friends for dinner/drinks on my days off rather than partying it up these days. Love a good bbq, picnic or sunday sesh on occasion. Looking for similar people who are working full time (bonus if it's shift work), clean and tidy in shared areas and respectful of peoples space/things/work schedules...the usual things you want in a housemate. Definitely happy to share a meal or drink or generally just hang out but also happy to do my own thing. I have a car so would be looking at finding a place with off street parking of some kind.
29, Scottish, studying for PhD at Deakin Uni. Easy going person to be around and fairly tidy. Generally very busy with work but enjoy socialising in spare time. Looking for hassle free house share with good people.
Hey there! My name's Jerome, I'm 19 years old and I'm about to study full time at Swinburne. I'm looking to live with 1 to 2 housemates from any age up to their mid twenties. I am a clean, responsible and respectful person, however I'm always up for a conversation! I'm quite a busy bee; especially once uni starts, so you'll find I'm not home overly often, which is great if you prefer mostly having the house to yourself. I also work at a furniture shop, so if any communal furniture needs updating, I'm happy to lend a hand! If I sound like someone you'd like to live with, I'd love to hear from you! Thank you!
Hey! My name is Gabby, I work full time in the events industry and am easy going, clean and friendly. Work keeps me pretty busy but in my free time I like catching up with friends, going to the markets, for walks, seeing bands, hitting the local brunch and bar spots and of course a causal Netflix binge every now and then. As a housemate I'd respect your privacy however I'm always up for a drink, chat or dinner. I'm fairly flexible with my moving date but wold prefer to move in the last week or February - first 2 weeks of March.
I've just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane and am looking for a place to call home asap. I'm 28yo and working full time in telco sales. I keep pretty active on weekends, working out, shopping, beach days and exploring restaurants and cafes. I can pretty much cook or bake anything - and love to cook for others. I'm super respectful of communal areas, keep it clean but I'm not crazy about everything having to be perfect all the time. I'd love to live with people that I actually get along with as well. Help a girl out and send me a message if you think you've got the place for me. Also looking for furnished rooms whenever possible.
I'm Eve, I'm 20, a second year Deakin Student and I'm currently working two part time jobs back home that will transfer me back to Melbourne! I'm pretty quiet but I'm always up for a chat and good Netflix binge! I'm wanting to find a room in a share house, preferably in an all female house but I don't really mind! I wouldn't be moving in until March but I'd be happy to start paying rent in February if necessary! I've lived on Deakin Res so I'm used to living with a range of people in a share house situation! Hoping to live closer to the city and near good public transport! Really anywhere near the places that I've listed I'd be happy with! Shoot me a message if you think you're offering the house of my dreams!
Hi! I'm a medical student from France. In January, I will move to Melbourne for an internship. I am social, open-minded and comfortable living in community (never lived alone actually). I am a vegetarian. I love books, music (piano, singing), hiking, rock climbing, culture, theater,.. Hope to hear from you, à bientôt! Lola
Hey guys. I've recently moved to Melbourne from Adelaide and am looking for a nice place to live in. I'm very considerate, used to living with others and always clean after myself.
I'm a 23 years old french women. I live in Melbourne since 3 weeks. Really easy going, quiet, tidy, I'm always enthusiast for any activity. A few of my favorite things include : eating (sharing meals), discovering new culturs, having a nice glass of wine (beer is also ok... ;)), singing, reading.
I am a friendly, easy-going guy who's looking for like-minded housemates. I moved from Tasmania to Melbourne about a year ago to continue my career in web development so I'm into computers and programming but also like to play music, art, crafts, Photography and exploring Victoria with friends. I'm bilingual (Japanese) and love learning about other cultures and countries. I'm quite clean and respectful of space. I like a few drinks at the end of a week but am not a party-er.
Hello! After plans to move in with a friend fell through, I am on the search for a beautiful place to call home! I used to study Law at Monash, but dropped out because I decided the 9-5 grind just ain't for me. So now I'm working that hospo grind instead, saving all my pennies, travelling as much as I can and trying to figure out what kind of life I want to build for myself. Ideally I'd love to find a home full of like minded people that are driven and passionate about things important to them. I don't care what your interests are, but I just think it's important to be around people who are passionate and care about something in this world, as I think I'm getting too old for losing myself in Netflix series and meme wars with friends. I'm typically pretty adventurous and would always prefer a day out exploring somewhere beautiful to a day spent on the couch. I'm LGBTQI+ friendly, I hate Trump (who doesn't tho tbh) and generally try to do my bit to make the world a nicer place. I'm vegan, and while I would prefer to live with people who share my beliefs on this, I know it's highly unlikely, so I'm happy to live with people who eat meat. However, I hope that you will respect my beliefs and not be mean to me about it, just as I will not make rude comments to you about you eating meat. A lot of vegans can be really rude towards people eating meat - but I'm not one of those :)))) I would ideally like a house that isn't falling apart, but it doesn't have to have been built yesterday. I've lived in sharehouses for the past 4 years so I'm well house trained, on the cleaner side and would prefer to live in a house of about 3-4 people max. I have all my bedroom furniture and happy to chip in for furniture or appliances if need be. :) Photos and bio probs are a bit scrappy, so happy to come around for a chat and cuppa to figure out if we mesh :) NB: Yaaaaas I am open to creating a house with other lone riders! Happy to live with couples (makes for cheaper rent haha) and don't care too much about location, as long as it's pretty close to the city and PT. Also no party houses pls! Been there done that. :)
My name is Megan. I've just arrived back in Melb after a few months working in China, so I'm on the hunt for somewhere new to call home/unpack my suitcase! I'm 29, originally from NZ but have lived in the UK and Melbourne for the last 6 or so years. I work in marketing in Collingwood so would love to be somewhere with an easy commute, or even a walk to work! I love to travel, snowboard in winter and get out and explore Melbourne and all that it has to offer!
Hello hello :-) I'm a friendly, tidy 29yo looking for a place to stay short-term in Melbourne. I've just come back from 7 months backpacking through South America, now I'm going back to the corporate life for a bit to save up for my next trip. I've got a 6-8 week contract at the Dept Health in Melbourne, which could turn into a longer-term thing or could not, so I'm looking for somewhere that will accept me for just two months to start. I cook and I clean (you should try my lemon chicken and baked feta), I love to talk and I'd much prefer a glass of wine over a game of scrabble than a party every weekend. I love to talk travel, current events, and food, and I love cycling. I'll be working a pretty standard 9-5 and I'm happy to hang out or do my own thing as the house goes. I'm deathly allergic to prawns so if they're on your menu every day that's not going to work for me, but other than that I'm open to any food preferences you've got, and any life styles. Gay and trans friendly, happy to live with kids if you've got them. Ideally I'd love a furnished place. I've got nearly all the things but would prefer not to have to transport them down from my Mum and Dad's in NSW. Happy to contribute any car-sized bits of furniture needed (TV, Wii, kitchenware, things...). I also need parking, though I'm fine with legal on-street parking. My job starts on Jan 30 (just confirmed!) so I'm hoping to move next week, or early the week after - I'll be staying with my sister in Brunswick East until then, but TBH I'm not so keen on sleeping on the floor for longer than I have to! Let me know if you'd like to chat - excited to meet you and start the next part of my adventure! Martina :-)
Social and very tidy couple looking for a room. We are moving over from NZ and will both be working full time in Melbourne - In accounting and digital consulting. We are looking forward to exploring the city and going on adventures in the weekend are keen to meet new people :)
Hello :) I'm Chris, 25, originally from Canterbury, UK, but have lived in Adelaide for the past 4 and a half years. I am someone who is house proud and respectful. I enjoy movie/games nights, dinners, drinks and chats about anything and everything. I do however also enjoy some time to myself. I will be working full-time, trying to explore Melbourne as much as possible, as well as attempting to keep fit (we will see how that goes!!). I am an optimistic individual who loves to smile, have adventures and experience as much as possible. I love coffee, wine and trying new foods, whether that is at home or out and about. If you have any questions, or would like to get to know me a bit more, just give me a message.

In my spare time I like to go to the gym, explore the outdoors, and enjoy trying to cook delicious food. I am looking for a quiet place to call home with friendly and relaxed people. I value open communication and mutual respect in a house share situation. Looking for people similar who are friendly and like to have a chat, share the joys and challenges of life, yet is independent and enjoys their own space.

Hey my name's joe, I work full time in Parkville, enjoy gigging and hanging out with mates. I'm looking for a share house, a social house would suit me pretty well but doesn't have to be raging every night. If you're interested hit me up.
I’m an easy-going 25-year-old female, working full-time as a paramedic. I work a roster of 4 days on followed by 4 days off, which means sometimes coming home between midnight and 3am, but I can assure you I’ve become very good at sneaking around so I don’t wake anyone! I keep pretty busy socializing with friends, hitting the gym, and going out for brunch/dinner/drinks. When at home, I keep a clean and tidy space, and enjoy cooking healthy meals, sleeping (love a good nap), binge-watching Netflix, and having a banter over a bottle of wine. I am looking to move further in towards the city to take advantage of the city lifestyle.
Hi Guys! I've just returned home after spending two and a bit years in the UK. I'm a full time working professional. I'm a business analyst within a large blue chip organisation. I'm single 28 and slowly adjusting back into life after relocating. I have an active social life as I'm Melbourne born and raised. I'm quite during the week and respectful of people's privacy, I'm social and independent however at the same time would like to live with a house mate who would like to share the occasional meal and wine. I've lived in shared house for a few years now, I'm very tidy and quite easy going. Anything else let me know :)
My name is Matthias, I am 36 years old and originally from Germany. But I spent the last 7ish years mainly in Melbourne and got permanent residency. I am running my own business as consultant for 3D-printing and mechanical engineering but I am also tinkering on another start-up. So I am doing the usual 9 - 5 (+ X) hours in the CBD. I am a social person who loves to have a laugh and enjoys a good banter over a glass of wine. I do like cooking, so a gas stove is a must-have. On the weekends I like to give my bike a spin, catch up with friends for brunch or dinner. At home I am also more of a quiet person. Not much of a party person...anymore. I am interested in technology, sustainability, product & interior design, good food and wine. Over the last 13 years I have lived in multiple share flats in four countries. Respecting others peoples private sphere and the shared spaces should be an mutual understanding. I consider myself as a neat, clean, tidy and a well organised professional...no dishes in the sink. So I am looking for people with similar preferences. To me sharing is about that everyone respects the other, making an effort to keep the shared space clean and tidy to keep it enjoyable for everyone. Last but not least....I do pay my rent and bills on time. Looking forward to meeting you, Cheers Matt
Hi you?! How are you? 🤗 My name is Gwen, Frenchie from Paris and arrived in Melbs back in July 2016. I'm super sociable but can be a bit of a hermit at times, so a friendly and considerate home is what I'm looking for. I am a full time Master student and a part of clubs at my Uni which keep me pretty busy 🙂 I love to keep my door open during the day and look forward to being friends with my flatmates ! I'm also not one to cook, but I do make killer Sangria and the occasional M&M cookies! I have lived until now in Carlton and have yet to really experience living in the suburbs and get a different feeling of the city.
