Hey! My name is Sioned and I am currently studying my bachelors degree at RMIT City Campus and taking up a diploma in French next year. I work 30 hours a week at a resort and in the little down time I get, I am all about exercising, nutrition, good food and family and friends. I am a super hard worker, I'm organised, tidy and looking to move to Melbourne in March next year when I return from my holidays abroad (the 2 hour commute is starting to be a killer). Ideally, looking for a two room apartment to share with someone with similar interests in the Footscray or Kensington area. I know it's early days, but let me know if you're interested in teaming up and finding a place :)
Another Brit in Aus on a Working Holiday. Clean, responsible, keep to myself (but equally happy to have a natter), and not much of a party goer. I work full time in Finance, but will be heading off to do some farmwork end of February, so only looking for 1 month accommodation.
Hi, I'm Lara! My current housemate Anna and I are looking to move out of our established houseshare and find a new place to live and some like-minded people to share it with! A bit about us, we enjoy cooking meals together (vego is the go), chats over wine, music and crafts!! lol. We like to have a few drinks and go to gigs on the weekend and occasionally after work/uni. Though probably not really a party house and appreciate restraint during the week. We are both full-time students and workers so we do enjoy our solitude as well and respect each other's privacy. Basically, we're just looking for another person that is self-sufficient, housetrained and easygoing. We are friends rather than housemates and genuinely love the experience of living with supportive and fun housemates. If this sounds like a Household you'd enjoy, we'd love to hear from you. PS. it took me an HOUR to find a suitable pic of the two of us for this site and we still look insane so please forgive and trust that we are not xxx
I work full time Mon-Fri sometimes long hours. I am relocating from Sydney to Melbourne, I'm Australian, 32 years old. I'm into a healthy lifestyle so am not a party person. In my free time I'm out and about a lot. I like to workout - swimming, oz tag, yoga, MMA, triathlons, parkrun. I love the beach, coffee and catching up with friends. When at home I would generally be sleeping or relaxing so not much noise. I would not be cooking daily as I'm not home for many meals but may occasionally make something light (think eggs/bacon/toast lol) or I may do meal prep on a Sunday. I'm a positive/happy person and pretty easy to get along with. I'm social but also like "me" time in healthy balance. I do require fairly reliable internet as I on occasion need to login to work after hours etc. Want to know anything else? Just ask :-)
Hello! I am Krista, from the USA and will be working part time/studying at UniMelb for my DPT. I am 23, single, tidy/housebroken, open-minded and get along very well with just about everyone :) Hoping to find a great place to call my new home for the next few years! I will be entirely relocating, so a furnished place is ideal, but willing to work around it if needed (truly only need a bed, I can figure out the rest). I really enjoy coffee, good chats, wine or beer at the end of a long day and of course great food! I'm not vegetarian but I do tend to eat vegetarian meals more often than not. For fun I like to netflix binge, shop, yoga, hike, lift, cook and bake :) Willing to bribe for a place to stay for the best chocolate chip cookies you've ever had! Get in touch!
Hey everyone, I’ll be moving to Melbourne on 14 Jan from Chicago. Looking for a temporary stay for about 4 months initially and willing to extend. I work in finance , M-F 8-5 and some weekends. Like to keep place neat and in order. About me - very easy going and straightforward person who likes to make new friends.
Just moved to Melbourne! We're a couple, I'm from New Zealand and she's from the UK. We have many hobbies such as hiking, photography, art, badminton, travel, board sports etc. Enjoy a social drink here and there. Non-smokers. Easy going and respectful. Looking forward to all the new experiences Melbourne has to offer!
Hi I’m Martin. I am 27, born and raised in Melbourne and I work FT in financial services in the CBD. I’m looking to move out of home, preferable within 10-15min walk of work. I have previously moved over to London and lived for over 12 months. After coming home I have settled back in and am ready to move out in a shared place. I am very friendly, positive and outgoing. As a housemate I am very respectful of others possessions and space but would also like to bond and become friends with whoever I live with. I am clean, fun and an extrovert, I don’t spend a lot of time in my room, I prefer to be out with friends than stuck at home. My hobbies include sports (viewing and playing), gym (I like to keep active and healthy), socialising, festivals and spending time with family.
Hi! I'm a fresh uni graduate from Perth who's taken a dive into the deep end by accepting a job here in Melbourne! My field is Chemical Engineering and I'll be commencing that 9-5 grind at the start of January. My stay is only short term (about 9 months) before the company moves me onto the next phase of my program. I enjoy socialising and making new friends, as well as travelling and keeping active! I'm a massive sports fanatic with AFL, UFC and F1 being my favourite sports to watch. I also enjoy placing social sports such as netball and am looking to continue my passion for football by finding a local club to play for when I relocate. I'm a tidy person who enjoys spending time with housemates, yet values a little bit of 'me time' every now and again :))
Hi! My names Chelsea, I'm 21 years old and have moved to Melbourne from Byron Bay NSW just over 12 months ago. I work full time in the city (Monday-Friday 8-5pm) I love to laugh and make others laugh. I LOVE the ocean, exploring and have recently found a new love for cooking. I am a HUGE animal lover also. :) As well as being super laid back and chill I take my responsibilities seriously and keep my living space organised and clean at all times. I'm really looking for a laid back, positive environment to create a home. As much as I love people and company I'm quite a private person and enjoy my own quiet space and privacy so like minded flatmates would be favourable :) Chels x
Hey all! My name is Mak and my current lease in Richmond off Vic street is running out and I'm looking to find something in the same area to move in to. I'm an American who's lived in Aus for the last 5 years and only in Vic since Jan so am still a tad new to Melbs and like to get out as much as I can! I have a full house worth of things, so can bring some or get rid of depending on the situation! couch, fridge, bed, outdoor and indoor settings etc. I'm 25 and work full time in Wealth Management in the CBD. I am a whiz in the kitchen and enjoy a wine or 7 on weekends but am also up at 5:30 everyday to hit the gym (don't worry I'm quiet if you aren't an early riser) I'm an extremely tidy person and am constantly cleaning and tidying up so a share house that isn't on that level isn't ideal! I am friendly and enjoy company but also really like my own space I'm not much of a homebody and am usually out on weekends/weeknights going for walks, wines and brunch with friends. Lease runs out the first week of March so ideally looking to move then or maybe a few weeks earlier. Lets be roomies :)
Quiet and respectful but highly sociable. I work for an electricity company full time and my girlfriend works in the CBD so we wouldn’t be around during the day. Big fans of food, music, sport and film. Looking for anything we can get 👍
Hey guys I’m 24, an actor, also working part time in Hospo. I love anything creative, films, music, yoga, photography, and am always out and about with friends but value having a safe place to come home to. Currently living in a share house off of Chapel with close friends but our lease is up and we are branching out. Looking for a new place to call home that’s laid back, clean, social but also respectful of each other’s space. Keen to hear from you 🙂
I am a professional full time worker (Department of Education and Training) and part time Masters student (Uni Melbourne). Easy going, respectful and cleans up after myself. I enjoy climbing bouldering after work, and will spend most nights studying.
Queer trans couple, two dogs (border collie + greyhound), one cat.
Emergency Nurse born and raised in Melb. I am easy going, friendly, neat and open minded. I keep busy and respect personal space but happy to socialise to catch up and hang out. I have an inconsistent roster working any time during weekdays or weekends, but can sleep through anything. Always keen to share stories from work - preferably with a drink in my hand. I have many that are gross, funny and sad, all which have the same moral - life can be crazy and unpredictable, so live your best life. I enjoy good food, drinks, chats, laughs, downtime, music, events, nights out and fitness. Looking forward to finding a welcoming home.
Hey, my name is Cian! I’m on the working holiday visa having just moved from Ireland. I’m looking for a room for sometime in the middle of January. I’m signed to an agency that gets me temporary office work on the regular. I’ll be working full time during the week Monday to Friday and off at the weekends. I like to keep it pretty chill weekdays and go out and about at the weekends. I enjoy a party or two but quiet nights in as well. I’m super clean and would love to mix and make friends with housemates but also allow some space and “me time”.
Hey! My name is Tuesdaii. I'm an Adelaide girl moving to Melbourne early next year to study Shoemaking at RMIT in Brunswick. I love yoga, coffee, plants, food & cooking, good conversation and real people. I am in search of a place to call home for the next year or so while I complete my course and work part time - I've lived in share houses for a few years now and would love to find a place that is both relaxed and considerate. I like to think I am a pretty chilled, open and down to earth person. I do my fair share around the house and am always enthusiastic about making houses feel more like home. I am known to come home with a bunch of new plants and to accidentally bake/make excess food to share! I am keen to find some likeminded people to share a home with. Please let me know if you have any questions! Ideally I would love to have a room to come to when I move over at the end of January and would be happy to make a trip to come and see the house and meet the people if it seems like it could be a fit :)
