Hey everyone! I am looking for a furnished private room to rent for a long term stay. Or at the very least a bed and BIR (a desk would be awesome too lol). Preferably in Brunswick, Ascot Vale, St Kilda, South Yarra, Elwood or anywhere that’s less than an hour from Southbank via public transport. Also, internet is a must! I arrive in Melbourne on the 13th of September and hope to move in as soon as I arrive. My budget is $700pcm, but of course the lower the better. 😬 A little bit about myself: I am an international student from Singapore, mid-20s and I will be studying Filmmaking this coming September. I like to spend my free time watching movies, sports and exploring new places with my camera(be it cool hipster cafes or jungle trekking). I'm pretty chill and sociable, some say funny but that's up to you to decide 😉. I don’t consider myself as a party person but I do enjoy music festivals and a few drinks every now and then. I'm respectful and tidy therefore I pay bills on time and clean up after myself. I’m also LGBTQ friendly and I don’t mind pets at all. 😬🐒 Now, as I am still in Singapore, I am not able to do a viewing in person. But I'm totally down for a video call interview/viewing if you are open to that idea. 😃 Cheers, Jerry 🤙🏼 :)
hi my name is sadra nice to meet you all ;] ,i'm 29 and live in melbourne about 6 years ..have my pr visa and also working most of the time in city so need place somewhere around that area or not really far rom city ...friendly out going responsible love going to gym and of course drinking sometimes in weekend and chilling love to have people in same way :} cheers.
I’m from Brazil. I came to Melbourne to study and work. First I’m improving my english and them I’m going a post graduate. I am easy going, clean and focused on my studies.
I’m a young professional working a full time job in the city. Gym is part of the daily routine, so you’ll mostly see me around at night and when I’m making the most of my weekends. Definitely enjoy some good banter and hanging with mates. I’ll be studying part time for 2 more years, but aside from that I’m not the sort of person to sit in my room all day. If you’re looking for a friend and a house mate look no further.
Hi! My name is Kim, I am pretty easy-going and like a clutter-free living environment :) I am born and raised in Melbourne and love the unique character of this city. I enjoy cooking, gaming, cocktails, coffee and spontaneous activities! I try to get to the gym 2-3 times per week and play tennis socially. During the week I am a full time urban designer working at a planning and design consultancy. I generally am a quiet person who is conscientious of others. I enjoy helping with communal cooking or sharing the cleaning. I am looking for a largish room (ideally at least 4x3m) so I have plenty of space for a double bed and desk. I ride my bike to work so a garage or secure area to store it at night would be a plus! I am flexible with move in dates and would love to organise a place to move into sometime during September! Please don't send me messages about houseshares more than 2km away from my suggested suburbs.
Hello! I'm Samantha, Italian, 29 years old, currently working in hospitality during the week and sometimes as a tour guide during the weekends. I love languages and cultures, running, psychology, music gigs, good food and wine. I'm also very clean and tidy. I like to socialise but also to enjoy my own space. I'm looking for a quite place not only where to sleep but also to call home.
Hey there, I'm Chloe, I'm 26 and work full time in Realestate, located in South Melbourne. I am a very easy going Aussie girl who is respectful of others and personal space. I do not have any pets and am a non smoker. I am a clean and tidy person and also reliable. My interests include gym, walks, travel, going out with friends, wineries, art and movie nights! I keep it pretty low key during the week and on the weekends like to find something fun to do. Any other questions, please ask. I look forward to meeting my new house mates! :)
Hi! I'm relocating to Melbourne on the 24th of this month from my hometown the Gold Coast seeking a busier city lifestyle and to broaden my horizons career wise :)!. I am an Australian born & (also Half Greek) 23 y.o full time working professional. I have a few friends in Melbourne already and i am also looking forward to meeting new people! I am very respectful of others peoples homes as i have rented my place out before and know what it can be like. I am tidy, respectful, helpful and i also like to keep to myself but up for a chat anytime. I have bond etc all ready to go and am never late on rent and happy to help out with cleaning and buying household items. I will be starting my new job at a accounting firm in the city on the 27th of this month. Please let me know if you would like to meet and think we could be good flatmates :). I am looking forward to hearing from you.
I am Andy, 22 and an aeronautical engineering student from Germany. I will live in Melbourne in order to make an practical semester near to Port Melbourne. I am used to live in a shared flat so I think there will be no problems. Just feel free to ask anything :)
Hiii I'm Frankie! I work as an academic tutor and research assistant at Unimelb but don't let that fool you - I am very easy going and love relaxing, eating, drinking wine, power-walking and DnMs. I can provide: great conversation about spicy subjects, award-winning Minestrone, reliable payment of rent/bills, an enthusiasm for cleaning parties and an excellent target for "Never have I ever." My mum lives on the Mornington Peninsula 5 mins from (arguably) the greatest beach in Victoria so summer excursions are also on the cards. I have been house-sitting in various areas since returning from overseas travel and am looking for a more long-term home. I enjoy a tidy house but also don't want to feel like I am a terrible human for leaving my dishes on the sink for a few hours. Honest and open communication has been the key to many happy housemate relationships in the past so I would love this from a new 'fam'. I am wanting to relocate around the 8th/9th of September but the following weekend is also a possibility if that works better. If I sound like the soy to your latte then pls HMU! x

I am a 30 years old Egyptian girl working as an Architect/Interior Designer, new to Melbourne. I will be looking for a full time job as soon as i arrive. I recently got the Australian permanent resident visa through the skilled workers immigration program. Most probably, I will not be spending too much time at home during the first few months as I would like to explore the city and hopefully will be going to interviews till I find the job for me. I would also be interested in volunteering at community events. In general, I'm a calm person yet i'm always up for new adventures and like to explore new things. I always have a story to tell whether it will be about my life back home, adventures i have been to or about my new life in Australia :) I love sports especially skating, running and squash. I like to keep fit and eat healthy as much as possible. I usually crave going to the beach, not sure if it's something related to my cancer horoscope XD
Hi! Luke and I are from England. We're moving from Brisbane to Melbourne on the 18th August. We will be working full-time, but also want to explore the city and see what it has to offer! We are both into our fitness (Luke's a PT), going out for food and drinks and meeting new people :) If you have any other questions please contact me!

My name is Julius, I have a stable full-time job in the cbd. I’m 21, gay, and currently living in a share house and have been since I was 18, so I am very conscious of respecting people’s space, household rules, and keeping neat and tidy. I’m not a party animal, but do enjoy being social and having the occasional drink or 3. Available to move in ASAP.

I am quite and keep to myself, not a big drinker or partier, prefer to stay at home our head out for brunch. No kids, or pets, I have and apartment full of furniture so will have anything or everything that is needed. I like to keep fit, gym daily and get out of the city when I can. Looking for a modern apartment or similar. Flexible on move date
