Hi guys! I'm Morgane, from South of France. I'm on the road away from home for a while now, I've been exploring New Zealand before coming to beautiful Australia. I love travelling and exploring of course, I'm a really open minded, loving, easy going person, interested in meeting people and long talks. I love arts (music my favourite though) as well as science (space fascination), I'm a country side girl but love the cities energies, enjoy chilling as well as getting crazy during parties. I practice dance, and I love yoga, meditation, cooking vegetarian food.
Hey, I'm Louis, 23 and about to move out of my place in Preston in a few days so looking for something asap. I'm very responsible when it comes to paying bills and rent on time and cleaning up after myself. I'm very easy going and quiet around the house however I do enjoy being social. HMU
Hi, I'm Hannah (23, American) I've been living in Melbourne the past 2 years. I originally came on Work and Holiday and loved it so much I stayed. I am currently in school full time at RMIT (second year) studying Media Communications with a major/focus in Politics and Economies Communication. On top of that, I work in a kitchen in Fitzroy around 30 hours a week. With both school and uni - I keep pretty busy and out of the house though I do love to have a quick drink and chat. I currently live in Carlton but am looking to move due to cost purposes. I hope to find someplace I can live long term as I am pretty tired of moving around. As well as someplace welcoming and "homey". I have lived in a variety of share housing environments and know how to live like a functioning human. Other things about me: Favorite TV Show: Broad City or Arrested Development Favorite Podcast: Sooo Many White Guys or Unqualified w/ Anna Farris Best book I read in the past year: Live From New York: An Oral History of Saturday Night Live, Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi
Hi there! I'm a 28 year old dude from Dubai working in a cafe in Collingwood and working my way up the hospo ladder. I'm looking to move closer to the inner north because literally everything I do is around that area (my current house is pretty much just used for storage at this point). I'm a social person and thrive on meeting new people, yet I do balance it with my own alone time and space. Tidiness is my zen and I'm looking for folks who share a similar view on house cleanliness. I spend my spare time reading, experimenting with cooking, doing some side work with Amnesty International and hosting trivia nights in Thornbury (which would be excellent for the housemates to join in on). Anyway, thanks for reading this blurb. Hit me up if I've caught your attention. Cheers!
Hello all! My name is Caitlyn and I've recently finished my physiotherapy degree and have moved down to Melbourne from Goldy (originally from the States). I'm currently looking for a short-term stay as my current lease ends on May 20 and I will be leaving for overseas on June 22 for a bit of travel. I will be returning to Melbourne the first week of August and will again be looking for more permanent accommodation as I begin my full-time roll as a physio. Cheers! Caitlyn xx
Our names are Dawa & No Mi, We’ve just spent the last four years in China studying and working and have just moved back to Oz to be closer to family and to set up our own little Qigong, dao yin yoga, meditation and nutritional healing business. Our other interests include circus (both ex professional circus performers), rock climbing, great outdoors, vegan/raw cooking (though we’re totally accepting of other peoples lifestyles), drinking tea and art in its’ many forms. Looking to find a house with interesting, passionate & independent people. Look forward to hearing from you!
Zac:: Freelance graphic designer, also doing an online sociology degree at uni full time (currently first year). I like to make art, grow veggies, hike, binge watch whatever shows I'm currently addicted to. Bit of an introvert / extrovert hybrid, depending on the mood I can either be up for long chats and random adventures, or just keen to stay in and chillout with some music or movies. Ra:: Black kitty who likes to chase toys and catch mice. Bit of a weirdo who wags his tail like a dog (not kidding), can't meow (never learned to or something??) and makes a chirping sound at meal times kinda like a velociraptor... He's fully toilet trained (ie. there's not even kitty litter in the house because he only ever toilets outside) and he's very low maintenance – not attention seeking, doesn't shed hair etc.
Hi everyone! I'm what you would call your typical easy going young adult. I get along with people easily and enjoy having a laugh or two. Ideally I'd wanna be living with people around the same age as me that I would become friends with! I would like to be living somewhere with a good environment like where everyone watches tv together sometimes or eats dinner together kinda situation I think that would be cool! I work full time in Brunswick at Harley Davidson, so closer you are to Brunswick the better!!. ☺ hope to hear from you soon thanks
I'm a single non-smoking health professional. I've just moved back home to Melbourne after living in Perth for the last six years. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in the northern suburbs, with capacity for parking (street is fine). I’m about to start a new full time M-F job at St Vincent's Hospital. My job involves working with people, so I prefer a relaxed and peaceful space to come home to during the week. I'm also an aspiring minimalist, so prefer clean, uncluttered and tranquil surrounds. I am independent and like my own space (and already have friends in Melbourne), but I would ideally like to be friends with my housemate/s as well. I'm hoping to live with 1-2 other mature people with a similar mentality, on a long term basis (happy to sign on to a lease). My version of socialising with friends tends to be long chats with cups of tea, and dinners/board games - I'm not a loud party person. I'm usually out a couple of nights a week. I'm house-trained, socially conscious and respectful of others and their space/possessions, clean but not obsessively so. I always pay rent/bills on time, am not tight with money, and enjoy sharing the occasional meal/drink/outing with housemates, in or out. I'm an omnivore but don't eat huge amounts of meat. I cook sporadically - it's not something that I love but it's one of my goals to get better at it! If there's a cat already in residence, that's a bonus (not a dog person though). My track record for keeping plants alive isn’t great, but I'm willing to try again with some delicious herbs. My hobbies/interests include barbershop/a cappella singing (I generally practice out of the house or when home alone), personal development, musical theatre, foreign films, good food and wine, linguistics and languages. I'm aiming to give yoga another go once I get settled. I like finding interesting cultural events to go to around town, and am happy to do this alone or with a partner in crime. I don’t really watch TV day to day (ads and sensationalist news drive me nuts), but I do occasionally binge watch a series. I’m interested in – but not very knowledgeable about – art, architecture, and music arrangement.
Hello! I'm an expat of the forest covered hills in the Dandenong Ranges and have been happily living in the city for the last 6months. The council has an issue with our landlord so we had to move out immediately. I'm on a mission to find an alternative ASAP. I love live music, camping, gardening, cycling, photography and I spend most of my week nights catching up with friends, wandering through parks, seeing movies or listening to some of the awesome local roots music in a cosy back street bar. I'm a professional at the share house thing and have references but most importantly, I'm respectful, tidy, honest, I pay up on time & I generally get along with everyone because I'm very open minded and easy going having lived with many people over the years from a child. I have a full time 8:30-5:30pm Mon-Fri job as an Inventory Controller in Hawthorn. I'm queer though no one ever guesses & I love animals if you have any. I spend between 4-6months a year house / farm sitting for furry friends when their pet humans are away. If you want to know more, please feel free to contact me anytime. Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you soon :)
We're a couple from England and New Zealand, living and working full time in Melbourne. We are both very easy going, clean, tidy and sociable. We like to socialise with other housemates whether it be over dinner/drinks or a movie as well as having our own time/space.
Hi! My name is Coby and I hope you're having a nice day so far! I am looking for a room at the moment and I am hoping to move in as soon as possible before the 15th of May 2017. Just a little snippet about myself... I am a very friendly guy, in my early 30s, working as a social worker for the State Gov. I'm open-minded, honest, respectful, and down to earth. I like meeting new people, socialising, catching up with friends, travelling, exploring different places, having a laugh, and pretty much enjoy what life has to offer. I always pay bills on time, like to be clean and tidy, and love doing outdoorsy stuff in my spare time. I'm pretty flexible with most arrangements and I'm an easy going type of person. Please contact me so we could arrange a time for an inspection. I am also interested in teaming up with like-minded people for a shared house. Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon! :) Cheerily, Coby
After recently returning from Europe after 8 months away I'm now looking for somewhere to stay. I'm a pretty laid-back guy who loves travelling and also sport. I'm a nice person to live with who loves to cook (and tidy up after themselves!) and am respectful of peoples space. I've been living in share houses since I was 18 so I've got a good track record and if you like I'm more than happy for a good chat and or a beer :) Currently a student at RMIT but very close to finishing that and am sorting out what life after uni holds for me.
Hey - I'm Nick and work a 9-5 job in the city as an analyst. I'm looking for a place that's quiet during the week and is clean and tidy, etc. I generally like my own time when at home, but am still pretty social and go out quite a bit. I'm into all the usual stuff such as the footy, xbox, going to gigs, the movies etc. I'm looking to move in somewhere long-term, am happy to go on a lease (or not, doesn't bother me) and am pretty flexible with move in dates.
I'm tidy and clean and am a pretty good cook. I house-sat a lot last year so can remember to put the bins out and I'm good with animals. My job has been permanent for the last 10 years at The Old Melbourne Gaol. I have a social life, a good sense of humour and enjoy wine, reading, crosswords, Pilates and am an Ex-Australian Ballroom dancing champion. Oh and I've got a front loader washing machine ;)
Moving to Melbourne in late July for a new job that will find me working right across the city so looking for somewhere central or close to public transport. I am always up for a new adventure and am keen to meet like minded people to go on road trips, hikes, gallery visits, brunch dates, try new adventure sports and have a drink or two along the way.
Im looking to move out and find some new pals and independance. Pretty chill guy, respect privacy and all that, but still love an afternoon beer. I like to cook and will clean up after myself too. I am a graduate aerospace engineer, I'm currently looking for a job, but I do have decent savings, and won't have trouble with rent or bills. I love heading out to gigs, craft beer, cool cafes, exploring beaches and bushwalks too. I dont smoke, and will get along with any animals you have. I come with a car (but would like to bike more) and a record player and record collection but not much other baggage.
I am a retired academic, recently returned to Melbourne after a few years in Europe and looking for a quiet, friendly place in which to write my next book. I am a chilled person, easy to get on with, responsible and fully house trained. I love cycling, walking, good conversation and food, and of course I read and write a lot.
Hello I'm a single male looking for a nice place to call home. I like living in a clean space. I'm respectful of personal space but at the same time enjoy a good chat. I clean up after myself and would expect the same from my future room mates. I grew up in Brisbane and have been travelling and working as a cellar hand in wineries throughout Australia for the last 3 years. I have lived in Melbourne for one year. I have commenced a Bachelor of Agriculture at The University of Melbourne with the intention to major in Wine Science. I like hiking, travelling and good vibes with quality people, food and drinks.
I've moved back from living the last few years in London. I would like to meet housemates who want a home, not just a place to live. I work full time as an Occupational Therapist. In my spare time I catch up with friends, volunteer and have enjoyed re- discovering Melbourne city.
Hello My name is Angie (32 y.o). I am a biologist and environmental specialist. I have lived in Melb for about 1 year now, studying English and working part time. I'm studying a Diploma at Melbourne Polytechnic (Epping campus). I'm very friendly and social. Like many of us, studying during the day and working at night. But I enjoy the weekends by attending festivals, concerts, beaches, parks, going out for drinks or just staying at home taking a good rest and watching movies. Also, I'm starting to practice yoga and pilates in my spare time and sometimes I join MeetUp groups to have a hike and camping to explore many parks in Victoria. I love to share a dinner, chat and movies from time to time. I'm a really chilled out, easy going, decent, sensible, reasonable and respectful person. I like to keep my house clean and tidy, Non-smoker, and I pay bills and rent on time. I'm looking for a balance between friendship / socialising and mutual respect for space and privacy. I also look for a place where I can feel at home, not just having a room. I'm willing to pay up to $160 per week. Please feel free to message me if you have anything available Cheers!
