Hey, I am a visiting postgrad student at Macquarie University. I am from Germany and I have lived in shared flats my whole student life. I love sports, little adventures, sharing food and stories. I am tidy and uncomplicated. My budget is very limited (100-150 would be perfect), thus I am looking for a very simple room, furnished would be perfect!
Hello, I'm from Japan. I'm looking for a room for myself. I'm learning Chinese now.
I´m María Guadalupe. I´m argentinian PhD student and I´m going to Sydney between April 1st. and May 30th. for visit the Macquarie University, where I´ll work one month and a half. For that reason I need a room near the university. I´m very clean, quiet, organizate and sociable.
Hi its Apo from Istanbul Turkey. I studied Mechanical Engineering in university but worked as a private tutor for 5 years and as a Human Resources Consultant for 6 years. I decided to have a break from corporate life for masters degree and I will start to study Master of Commerce in Finance at Macquarie University on 26th of February. I'm tidy, easygoing, open-minded, responsible person who enjoys listening music and intellectual conversations about life. Also, I like to party once or twice in a week but not necessarily at home. I prefer a place with clean kitchen and bathroom and that I can stay until the end of the first semester (to the end of June) but if I like the house I can sign for 10 month lease.
Hi there! My name is Gustavo, I am 24 and I come from Brazil to Sydney to do a PhD of 3 years at Macquarie University. I left home 7 years ago and since then I have lived sharing houses or in studios, so I am quite used to it. In 2014 I spent one year living in the UK. I am looking for a studio or an ensuite room in a shared house to stay for at least 6 months, starting at the beginning of March/18. I look for privacy and freedom in my space. I give preference for somewhere that charges bills separately from the rent and has a great internet connection. I consider myself neat, organized and honest overall. My hobbies are cooking, doing physical activities and talking to people. Please let me know if you have a place that matches these criteria or knows of somewhere that does. Thank you!
Planning to move late Feb, I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months. I work and study full-time so I'm pretty busy, but I still enjoy hanging out and spending time at home. I prefer a clean and tidy place close to public transport. Likes: hiking, spicy food, indie film, folk music, figurative art, cats
Looking for a place to share with one or two others which has a decent sized room and preferably an ensuite/own bathroom and off street parking. Work full time as a primary teacher in the Ryde area. Clean, tidy and friendly. Flexible moving date.
Hi, my name is Claudia and I will be looking for new accommodation around April 2018, preferably near Macquarie University. I would prefer somewhere on the ground level that has natural sunlight and that is quiet. I like to have my own space where I can re energize and feel at home in my home. I like to cook, food and healthy diet is most important as well as healthy heart and spirit. I am pet friendly and non-smoker. I am great to live with because I am clean and organized. I enjoy the outdoors. I have bedroom furniture except a wardrobe and a few kitchen gadgets and bits and pieces. Please get in contact if you think we could be compatible housemates or if you can recommend a property. Thanks Claudia
Excellent cook. Active. Clean. Tidy. Non smoker. I enjoy all sport and work as marketing director for a global office supplies business. From England but permanent resident in Australia.
Hello there, My name is Hamaka and I am looking for a place to stay in Sydney CBD and or surrounding suburbs. About me: ⬛ Maori/Croatian/Irish. ⬛ Gay. ⬛ Single: career driven. ▪ Cyclist ▪ skater ▪ long distance runner ▪ muso ▪ book worm ▪ wanderer ▪ prone to losing my train of thought ⬛ Barista/bartender/sales ◼ I drink on very rare occasions so will likely be writing, hiking, cycyling or skate boarding. I am currently living in Liverpool, Western Sydney, and am staying with friends - I would like to secure a place to stay which is closer to work. I manage a non-for-profit café for a company which manufactures games; Aristocrat technologies. I commute to work each day, which happens to be a 2 hour trip each way. I would like to cut that commute down significantly by moving closer to where I work, haha. I arrived in Sydney 2 weeks ago so am still finding my bearings. I am from a small village in New Zealand located in the Waikato region, specifically, the Coromandel Peninsula; located in the North of the North Island of NZ. I would like to move into a place immediately for then I can comfortably settle into Sydney and start exploring. I treat people the way I would like to be treated, with kindness and respect. I am considerate and empathetic in relation to living in shared accomodation. I come from a family of 11 so cleaning up after myself is a given, and I would prefer the same. I am aiming to get another job working on the weekend, either permanent or casual freelancing work. So, I will likely never be home. I enjoy getting out and being active, for I am perpetually bored - haha - and enjoy keeping fit and healthy. I hope that gives you a general idea of who I am. Thank you so very much for your time. Kindest regards, Hamaka Murray
Respectful, easy going, clean, considerate. I am a mature woman not a granny who is looking to share a home that is safe, friendly and clean. I am not a party animal and whilst at home I like to watch movies and documentaries on Netflix etc with wine in hand. I am a private person but always up for a chat and occasional meal together. I have a quirky sense of humour and I love a good laugh. I currently live and work on the Central Coast but want to move to Sydney to be of support to my parents who have just very recently moved into a nursing home. I will still commute to work until I find something closer. I am used to commuting. I have a beautiful cat called Valentina, Vali for short who is my baby. She is very shy but once she gets to know you she is fine. She has lived with a cat and a dog before and there were no issues, however if a dog was to start barking at her she would get very scared. She would need to be around calm pets. I have a reference from my current landlord who has had me since Sept 2009 with my cat Valentina. Available upon request. I have no issues with outside smokers. Will send photo of me privately if requested, that photo is obviously my cat lol. What else can I say? Any further questions please ask. Thank you
Hey. I'm a relatively chilled guy looking for a room in the Hornsby area. I'm sociable, a great cook and enjoy a beer or two, but tend to head to bed early. I work in surveying, which means I leave for work around 6am. I work in a different location pretty much every day. But I'm keen on the Hornsby area because it's close to mountain biking & easy to get out of the city for adventures. I currently live with my fiance, who is moving to Brisbane to be closer to our families. I'll be following her in the next 6 months once I find work up there. So I'm hoping for a room that's available for 3-6 months. I'm generally tidy and respectful of your privacy and possessions, so I'd like to find housemates that are similar. I'll probably be away in Brisbane almost every other weekend so you'll have your space. Would be nice if my fiancee could stay with me once in a while too, but not a deal breaker.
I had really great spiels written here but I closed the tab accidentally... twice. Anyway, about me: I'm a young professional software engineer, an innovator entrepreneur thinker rockstar, with the world in his shoulders and chips in his eyes, or something. I'll be working full-time in Sydney until at least October 2018. I'm pretty quiet and reserved, but love a good argument and/or discussion about really anything at all, learning, drawing, programming, all sorts of beverages, and bike riding (I don't actually do much of it in Sydney, though).
I'm a second year student at UTS and need somewhere to live as I'm not able to live with my parents anymore. I have a small dog named Yuki who hardly sheds. I'm happy to live in most places in Sydney as long as public transport to the city is easy enough.
I'm a very easygoing, fun and responsible person. I'm also very friendly and like meeting new people. I've lived in a shared house and I love spending time with the people I live with. I'm definitely not a party person and I respect other people's privacy. I'm very tidy and organized. I'm an uni student and my hobbies include cooking and going to the beach.
Love good conversation, quite intellectual, enjoy sharing a meal and some heady discussion, mature minded, LGBTI friendly, clean up after myself. I have a cat as well, and am an animal lover. Work part-time in mental health, but will happily work elsewhere if someone's prepared to pay me for my time (lol!). Keen to move in as soon as possible.
