Hi, my name’s Steph! I’m organised, healthy and ambitious, but don’t stress, I balance that out with a great sense of humour, love of fun and being a big ol’ ball of geek! I love heading out on adventures, dancing and doing active outdoorsy things but equally value time chilling at home, creating cool stuff or just hanging out. I’m looking for a new home close to the city - one filled with people that are open, healthy, loving, growing and inspiring. My type of share house is one in which everyone can easily use the space as their own. Meaning shared spaces in particular are always left in an extremely clean and functional-for-everyone state and general cleaning/upkeep tasks are shared and done every few weeks. I like to uphold a relaxed/friendly/supportive/respectful/loving/fun vibe in the house and being really honest and open with communication. I’m happy to join an existing house or start a new one. Things you should know: - Housemates are all the best parts of family and friends for me. I genuinely care about the people i live with and the space around me so I expect a similarly high level of respect and initiative back. - Looking for rent under $150 a week - Within 20 minutes public transport access to chapel st/richmond/city is a must. - I need quite a bit of freezer and pantry space because i do monthly meal preps! - I own a beautiful big antique mirror and it would be epic to use this somewhere! - I like a generally peaceful, comfortable, very clean and functional living environment - I clean with low fragrance/chemical products only (vinegar/bicarb/natural sprays). Strong smelling stuff causes my body all sorts of issues so I try to keep that to a minimum and ask that people i live with respect that. - I have a car so space or street parking is a factor If you've read this far and are still curious, congratulations because you're probably what i'm looking for! Shoot me a message and let's find out for sure! *Bonus points if you’re into entrepreneurship and the creative and tech industries.
I love to go out for dinners with close friends, love movies and cooking occasionally. I'm tidy and respectful of communal places and expecting the same qualities. I'm kind person, with an easy going attitude and easy to be around. I am accommodating to others so long as the same respect is reciprocated. I'd love to arrange for an inspection. Cheers
Hi, I'm a full time hairdresser originally from Brisbane, now working in Port Melbourne. In my free time I like to relax, read, watch movies, play games and go to the gym. Hope to make lots of new friends :) Thank you! xx
Laid back, tidy, respectful student studying nutrition, working part time in a cafe. Health conscious, active, vegan
Hello! I am a Canadian student going on exchange to the University of Melbourne for a semester and I will be needing accommodations between the 1ts of March and the 30th of June! Clean and tidy, fun and easy-going, very chill. I enjoy watching movies and TV, video games, cooking (eating), and having a good time. While I'll be focusing on studying and will be looking for part-time work, I will always be up for sharing a meal and/or drink and going out for adventures! I am a non-smoker, but smoking is okay. I am also fine with pets!
I'm a 25-year old nice, fun, outgoing guy from Egypt. I love exploring new things, meeting new people, and watching new series and movies. I'm a great storyteller, and I love food. I am a very flexible and accommodating person. I value personal space and always make sure to give my flatmates the privacy they need. Hygiene, bathroom in particular, is very important to me. Bonus point: I will bring a lot of goodies from the Land of the Pharaohs. Currently I am a construction professional and will be moving to Australia in February to study construction law at the University of Melbourne. For fun I enjoy hiking, hitting the beach, listening to new music, playing video games, and going out with friends. Soon enough I will be picking up surfing as a new passion.
I come from Queensland, where there are super beaches to enjoy. Now I have moved to Melbourne to look for work ( I have graduated from a Masters in Marketing), I know that part of pleasure has gone but with the right people to live with, I have better chances of making my life alright! hehe How would you like to live with someone fun, intelligent and thoughtful? Sharing conversations in various topics? I am very intellectually curious so I usually wouldn't refuse to listen to history, politics, science or economic stories! Don't take it as I am a nerd! I like to chill and have a coffee or a beer with cigarettes when friends come over too! More importantly I am a good cook, and when I get the time I am happy to cook for my friends and guests. It is very important for me to befriend, trust and enjoy living with the people who I am sharing the house with. So if you feel resonated with this message please contact me. Hope to hear from you the soonest! Dani
My name is Paul I am 26 and from the UK. I work full time in the CBD for a supperanustion and insurance company. I am currently looking for a place for me and 2 of my friends (sam and Callum) who also work full time in the same area of work. We are hard workers during the week and enjoy a few casual drinks at the weekend. I will be living in Melbourne until at least august 2017
I'm relocating from QLD to Melbourne. I have visited Melbourne a lot as my sister lives there and I'm in love with the city. So it's time to move. I'm a hard worker, I always have 2 jobs on the go. I'm very courteous and clean when it comes to living. I'm very friendly and there's a 99% chance we will get along :)
My husband and I are both 25 years old and moved over form NZ 3 weeks ago. We are just trying to get ourselves started in Australia. I am a chef and my husband is a graphic designer. We are easy going and very tidy. Non smokers and no pets. Thanks :D
I'm easy going, into spiritual healing, love tattoos and swimming. Bit of an odd egg some would say, but I'm definitely interesting. I'm a second year nursing student and absolutely love my studies! I work a few nights a week to keep enough funds to survive! I have a car so could drive you places if you need and are willing to chip in a little for petrol :) I'm still finding my hobbies, but so far they include swimming, walking, astrology and spending time with my beautiful Bengal x Ragdol cat, Casper (He is the light of my life and would be moving with me) ;) I'm originally from England and plan to travel South East Asia next 3rd trimester holidays (November) so finding a flatmate with similar interests would be a bonus! Don't be shy, shoot me a message :-)
I am looking for a room somewhere in Melbourne's inner east. I work in Hawthorn east and spend a fair amount of time going to the bay kitesurfing in the weekends so somewhere in between is perfect. I ride my bike to work everyday so I dont want to be to close to Hawthorn east as I enjoy a decent ride, also biking is part of keeping fit which is important to me. The house and people are more a focus for me than the suburb. I am open to any suburb in this area. I am 44, originally from New Zealand I have been in Australia for around 15 years, 12 in Sydney and 3 in Melbourne. After 9 years in the snow ski industry I now work in the IT industry as an analyst/programmer so I like to be active in the w-ends. Kitesurfing is my main hobby. I also like biking, technology, travelling, food (especially Asian), socializing/eating out, sport and just about anything that is fun. I am very easy going, consider myself clean and tidy and are very respectful of other people and their space. I am an animal lover so don't mind any household pets especially dogs. I look forward chatting and hopefully to coming and meeting you!

Im an awesome cook, have a beautiful dog who loves everyone and everything, i enjoy gardening and lawn maintenance, im handy at fixing things -or giving it a go anyway! I want to make somewhere home..i want to feel comfortable to walk around in jocks and socks on a sunday after a night out. I want to know that i am not judged and what happens in or anything regarding the occupants is private. I want to make long term friends who can be honest and open and communicate any issues. I want to know my room and infact the house wont get ransacked or robbed by some idiot someones carelessness let in. I want to have my own separate life but also to share a meal or go out for a drink. I need to know my dog will be respected and not mistreated in my absence..finally i just want to find a home where people can live and let live without judgements, bickering or bitching. Where we create our own little brotherhood/sisterhood/wateva u wish to call it, where we look out for one another, we are considerate of each other, we give the respect we want and deserve and honour the privacy and dignity we need. Im Riley..i dont mind if youre gat, straight,bi,high, cross dress in secret, in the middle of a sex change..whateva floats your boat is just fine by me. I pride myself on keeping a nice and clean space that always feels fresh. I love having lots of plants in and around the house. I love cooking and sharing meals socially. I am very open, approachable and naturally caring. I am aware my age may not appeal so without coming across as vain ~ I'll simply state I'm an old soul. I've been living in share houses for 6 years. I resonate and relate with all ages from all walks of life.. Trust!! ~ An added bonus I am capable of bringing to light if you like; I can create good feng shui in and around your home to attract abundance of all kinds. I am down to earth and encompass a down to earth lifestyle.

Hi! My name is Miki and I am from Tokyo, currently on a working holiday visa. I started living in shared housing in university and have never stopped since! I have lived in university dorms, shared flats, and most recently a 30 person share house in Tokyo. I've really enjoyed the balance of having a room to myself while always having the option to talk to someone after a long day, instead of just coming home to an empty apartment. I enjoy hiking and other outdoor pursuits, baking, playing cards and board games, and finding fun things to do around the city (especially if they are free!).
