Both from Ireland and together almost 4 years. We have plans to do some travelling while in Australia. Very laid back, clean and respectful. We are looking for somewhere to stay for a few months before we do our regional work. We would like to live with people of similar personalities and situation. Not looking for a party house
Hi! We have both moved from London in August last year. As soon as we touched down we both got full time jobs and were lucky enough to spend the Christmas period travelling around Australia as well as New Zealand. We stayed in both Sydney and Brisbane after realising that Melbourne is the place to be, so we came back in hope of finding a lovely little sublet so we will never have to stay in an Air bnb again! We are both full time employed. Lucy is an account manager for a design agency in South Melbourne and I work for Hobson's Bay City Council. A bit about us; I like coffee, monochromatic colour schemes and running. Lucy likes pastel colours, reading, art and good karma. We like to be active and eat good healthy food. We enjoy spending time at Art Galleries and love taking a stroll in the evening. On weekdays we are quite tame, usually go on a run after work, make dinner and like to watch an episode or two. Not really hardcore party people but enjoy a night out on the weekend with a nice bottle of wine / espresso martini once and a while! We Let us know if this suits the room and we're happy to meet up and have a chat/ view the place! Thanks for your time! ✨ Sofia and Lucy. Ps I found it hard to upload a photo of us on here. The photo kept zooming into one of our faces and it looked quite alien. I picked a photo of my mulled spiced wine instead - but we can send over a photo/ meet up to have a chat if you want!
We are an Irish couple looking for accomidation in Melbourne. I'm Jen (26), a primary school teacher. Michael (27) is an engineer. We both enjoy cooking (Although Michael is more the chef). We love to keep active and play badminton, table tennis and go to the gym. Michael enjoys his craft beers and I love to have the odd glass of vino :) We are keen to get out and sightsee / do activities on the weekends. We love going to comedy festivals and are always googling to see what events are in the area. We are both very sociable and enjoy meeting new people :)
I’m a very chill Dutchie who is working full time during the day but likes to hang out with the housemates, but also respect privacy. I’m tidy and like to have a clean place! I’m also always in for a cheeky beer or some yarns 😁
I'm an American, from Michigan that has been living in Wellington for the last 6 months and before moving here I Thru-hiked Te Araroa, which is 3000km from the bottom of NZ to the top. So I'm always keen on a weekend in the bush. Although I have worked in Hospo/Bars for the last 5 years, I'm doing an alcohol free year and will be looking for a non-hospo job so I'll have normal hours. I'm pretty easy going, game a decent amount, but always keen for convo over tea or coffee! I'm Christian, but the loving, Non-judgmental, LGBT friendly type. :D

Hey, I'm Jen (27) and I work as a graphic designer. I like photography and am into my running and hiking. I enjoy socialising over a glass of wine, or a movie night in with friends. Am flexible on my move in date if something becomes available sooner, but I'm not looking to sign onto a lease. Look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi Guys! I'm Ben and I am currently on the hunt for new digs! I previously worked at a salary packaging company working shifts between 8am - 7pm but am currently in between jobs and looking for a change to start the new year with! During the week I am too buggered after work to do much but blob out on the sofa binging on Netflix (and soon to be Stan once Rupauls Drag Race comes back on!) but I do enjoy drinks on a friday after a hard week to unwind and occasionally go out to boogie if I'm not too tired. In my spare time I love to garden and usually go straight to work in greening up a place when I'm lucky enough to live in a house with a garden! You'll often find me at the Royal Botanic Garden which is one of my favourite places to visit and eyeing up pot plants at the local nursery thinking hrmm do I have enough space for another houseplant? I grew up in New Zealand and have lived in Melbourne for 8 years now. I would describe myself as pretty laid back, easy going and definately someone that speaks with no filter! I'm a considerate flatmate that doesn't hide in their room all day, keeps shared spaces tidy, likes to have a chat every now and then, but who is also mature enough to know that sometimes you just need your own space! Currently I'm living in a house share with a lovely greek lady and her son, but our landlord is upping the rent and we're looking in different areas so here I am checking out my options :) If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask away! Cheers, Ben
Hi- I'm Molly, friendly, calm and quiet natured, looking for a warm and friendly home to share with like-minded people. I am interested in books, arty things, yoga, permaculture, vegan food, good conversation, good coffee, etc. I love animals, though I don't have any pets of my own. I would ideally love there to be a veggie garden, or room to create one. I also play violin (I promise not to be noisy when you want quiet!) I work full time as a medical receptionist. I am clean and tidy- a beautiful home is important to me, as is living gently on our earth, making conscious, environmentally respectful and socially ethical choices. I have lots of share-house experience too. I would love to be able to become good friends with my housemate/s, rather than just simply sharing the space. I am flexible on length of stay- 6 months or 1 year would be great, preferably longer term for the perfect place. If you think I sound like a good fit, please get in touch! -Molly
25 year old finance professional relocating to Melbourne arriving 30th January. I'm quite laid back, outgoing and social and would like my housemates to be the same, however I also like to do my own thing aswell and very much respect people's space aswell. Would be looking for housemates that would be roughly of similar age. I work full time and will be working in the CBD 9-5 sometimes later My main interests would be sport both to watch and play, music - play guitar. Would spend my time out and about at the weekend but of course also willing to hang out and get to know housemates! I have lived in shared housing for multiple years so I am clean and pull my weight!
I am from Queensland. Already lived out of home for a year and know what is needed to help maintain a household. I will be studying and working while down. I enjoy music and have a passion for acting. I like to exercise but also know how to chill out and play some games or watch a movie. I'm quite easy going, friendly and easy to get along with.
Hi! I am a clean, happy person starting my first year of study at the University of Melbourne. I love cooking and baking and would love roommates that are happy to share a few meals during the week. Bonus points if you have a sweet tooth! (I make some mean cheesecakes!). I do, however, enjoy my own downtime. I love a good chat and would enjoy a roommate I could be friends with. In my free time I love curling up with a good book or movie and would love someone willing to watch TV or movies with me. I also enjoy my music and going out to see concerts and musicals when money allows is always a treat! I am a huge animal lover - I've lived with them all my life and grew up on dairy farms where I have always had pets. I am a respectful and open-minded person with an easy-going attitude who sings and dances a lot (quite badly, which would provide you with entertainment I’m sure). By the way, I am currently living in Tasmania and will be relocating for university so my move date is flexible until the 12th of February. And as a by the way, I do tend to swear a lot. Mostly without meaning to where it just slips out, but I thought it best to share that with you.
Hey! I'm a Kiwi girl who's moving to Melbourne to start full-time work in Recruitment on the 5th Feb. I'm (nearly) 23 and am all about living a grateful, positive, sunny side up kind of life! I'm super social and am looking for a place to live that has a super homey feel with equally social and open-minded housemates. I've lived in shared houses for the last 5 years and whilst I appreciate the need for boundaries, I've really enjoyed the friendships that I've made with my past housemates. I love keeping myself busy with yoga, gym, people watching, Saturday Night Live, Netflix binges and the occasional glass (or three) of red wine on the weekends. I'm not after a party house but I definitely like to spend most of the day out of my room when I'm not working, whether it's going on beach adventures or enjoying some over-priced avocado on toast for brunch! I'm quite flexible in terms of living arrangements- I wouldn't mind a short term lease until I find something more permanent however most definitely open to long-term arrangements if I find the right place. Please feel free to message me if you want to chat further, am available for a Skype until I arrive in Melbourne and then am happy to catch up for a drink when I arrive to get to know each other a bit better. Looking forward to hearing from you!
About me: I am 29 years old. I am from Lima, Peru.I am easy-going, honest and friendly. I love cooking. I don't have problem sharing chores to keep the home, and I am not a person who does not like to keep a house as a clean and peaceful place. Even, sometimes, it is relaxed gathering with some friends but without ending into a mess. I hold a bachelor degree in social psychology and a graduate diploma in Non-profit management. Since I concluded my undergraduate, I have been working in development programs leading the design and implementation in NGO as TECHO (A roof for my country) I worked with families affected by the Earthquake delivering emergency housing modules and families living in human settlements co-designing communities projects. After four years, I started to work as a public servant at Peru' Ministry of Education delivering technical assistance to the Learning Outcomes Measure Office and the General Direction of School Management in the design of Evaluation Plans. I love to do yoga...well I try to practice because I found out that It is relaxing. I respect the privacy of others and sometimes if you need help in something do not doubt to ask me. Also if you need to keep a quiet moment do not have any doubt that I will respect that and I will stay as a ninja without making any sound. Why am I moving to Melbourne? I am moving because I have been accepted at the University of Melbourne to study the Master in Social Policy. I am planning to stay one academic year. What place am I looking? I am looking for a place close to the University ( I mean that stay for walking of 30 minutes as maximum ) as CBD, Fitzroy, Carlton, West Melbourne, Collingwood, Parkville (*). One private room, I can share the bathroom. Also, the house must have an equipped kitchen and if it possible has a laundry machine. (*) that includes the bills into the rent. Also, if it is possible, that can give an invoice or a lease receipt. Because I am going to need it to support my expenses for Peru's National Scholarship Office (just if it is possible). I am moving to Melbourne because I am starting my master degree in Social Policy at UniMelb. I am planning to stay one year and a half, so I am looking for a place to live for a long time and great flatmate to share this fantastic time. I am travelling on 15th and arriving for 17th, so I am looking for a landlord or a co-tenant that can accept to have an inspection by Skype. If you are that person, please send me a message. Cheers
Well traveled cultured independent woman, who takes pride in my life and living space. Just arrived from Perth! I’m chilled, friendly and social but also love a lot of down alone time , like any well balanced Libra 😉 You could find me at a Latin gig sweating it out on the dance floor, browsing through an Op shop, with a good book and a chai, going to Yoga and Thai boxing classes! I am a professional and also a practicing Hypnotherapist, I promise I won’t turn you into a chicken in the middle of the night but could help you with your chocolate addiction 😜 I am Looking for a spacious room, in very close proximity of city and public transport Look forward to hearing from you, if you have a place in these areas!
Hi everyone! I'm Francesca, I'm Italian and I've just arrived in beautiful Melbourne. I love travelling, cooking (my flat mates will get lots of dinners, I'm just saying..), meeting new people. I'm usually a quiet flat mate but I don't mind partying every once in a while. :)
I'm 26 and work for a Big4 accounting firm, during the week I’m pretty busy with work so generally quite quiet, usually go to the gym before work and then not home until after 6-7 most nights so it's just cooking dinner and catching up on the days news/tv/sport. Weekends are fairly laid back with watching/playing sport, catching up with mates or off exploring Melbourne. I like to keep a healthy lifestyle so I cook pretty regularly but clean up after myself, I've got a good sense of humor, and always up for a laugh/chat if someone wants to have one.
