Hi, I'm a 23 year old student from Sydney relocating to Melbourne to finish my bachelor degree. Outside of uni I work as a bartender and in my free time enjoy cooking, exploring, Netflix and my motorbike. Hoping to find a flat mate that is responsible and respects personal space, but also social and friendly
Hi! I’m Amy, looking to make the move to Melbourne from NSW as I have finished uni and will be starting a full time job early February. I am respectful of others personal space and have lived out of home before. I enjoy exercising, being social and embracing the outdoors, as well as enjoying some quiet time when it’s needed.
Hi, I am moving from Mumbai to Melbourne on 3rd March and looking for a place to call home. I am a Project Manager by profession who also loves to travel and keen about outdoor activities. I am a open minded person and get along well with pretty much everyone,I also enjoy a occasional drink over a conversation. I am neat and clean and believe in keeping my surroundings the same. And did I say that I can do some amazing Indian kebabs on a barbie...! :-)
I work as Branch manager for cleaning company in Tasmania. Recently I have graduated from University of Tasmania and receive my permanent residency. Therefore I'm moving to Melbourne to land a job in engineering field which is related to my degree.
My name is Kris. I'm 35 years old and currently working full-time in hospitality. I'm lucky enough to work week days and not too crazy hours (starting at 7am can be a bit rough sometimes!). I don't smoke and drink occasionally on the weekends, although I'm not bothered by people who do smoke. I'm a qualified counsellor and will be looking for work in that arena, but obviously only if it can pay the bills! I love martial arts, nerdy games, good TV and film (and a bit of trash too) and Italian cooking. Currently I'm looking for a place to live for the foreseeable future.
I really open minded person and I hope my flatmates do the same. I like music , so in my free time sometimes I sing. I can play some instrument. I like to cook, I can cook food or dessert for my flatmates and maybe we can sharing the new recipes. I like to learn new things and new culture.
I've just moved down from Canberra to study at RMIT starting this year. I spent most of 2017 travelling around the world, so I have lots of stories to share. I love reading, photography, Netflix, and I'm a vegan. I'm really friendly and enjoy socialising, but I'm usually quiet and keep to myself. I like to think that I'm tidy and clean, and respectful of others.
Hi I'm Sophie and am planning on moving to Melbourne from Auckland, New Zealand to study a bachelor of Fashion (Design) (Honours) at RMIT university around mid Feb. Feel free to message me :)
Hi, I'm Nick. :) I'm a full time worker for a financial services company. I'm moving into the city to shorten my commute but also trying to save for holidays/to live life so wanting to find a room for around $150-$200/week. I'm often away every other weekend and a night or two during the week and enjoy my relaxing time when I'm around, though happy to hang out, drink a beer and chat. I've lived in share houses with both friends and people from this website in the past; definitely share house trained and I very much respect other people's space, cleanliness of the place and sharing cooked time etc - all the usual flash points. I love music, reading, getting out hiking and diving. I generally cook every night and happy to cater for the whole house fairly often - I cooked for 5 people for a couple of years when sharing with friends so I've had the training ;) I am a smoker, however a very respectable one; I'll walk away from the house to smoke and hate bringing the smell in with me. Hopefully that's helpful and not too much waffle - hit me up if you have a room or a place in mind and you need another person on board. Nick
Hey there, i am moving down from Sunny Brisbane for a bit of a sea change. I do disability support work, and study sign language. I am friendly and social, i love to cook (especially for others, not so much myself!) and i love a glass of wine, obviously! I’m also quite introverted, so happy as well spending time by myself reading; also i’m very tidy and respectful of communal cleaning as well as keeping personal spaces clean! I do have a cat, he is an old boy, a chocolate Burmese named Jordan. I was going to leave him with friends in Brisbane until i settle in somewhere, but i am hoping to find a nice pet friendly house, that doesn’t mind a quiet little old guy pottering around (he’s not so agile these days, but you can still have hours of entertainment paying him out for his old man grumpy cat face!) oh also im 27. I’m looking for a place from about mid march (although will be there from early march to inspect places).
Hey! We've recently moved from Seattle in the US to get out of the rain and enjoy a bit more sun. We've been married for about 3 years now, together for 6 years, and decided to come back to Melbourne where Tay grew up! We're both super laid back and easygoing, aren't super into any sort of party scene, but do love both spending time with people and also having out own space. We love eating out, as well as traveling a ton. We're both currently doing Uni online, which takes up a bit of our time, but also work part time!
Work full time in finance industry. Respectful, chill, easygoing, well educated, reasonable, and independent.
I am super relaxed and easy going, I am always looking for something new to do, I like the finer things in life but I'll never forget my roots. I bloody love to cook and eat tasty food but who doesn't, not much of a party goer these days but I still like to have fun. Very independent but also quite social. Currently living on the gold coast but moving down to study at RMIT as asap as possible
Hey there! I'm Jess, a 26-year-old nurse. I work mostly Monday to Friday, sometimes early, sometimes normal, sometimes late starts. I'm looking to find a new place to call home. I enjoy working out, keeping fit, and eating a lot! I'm always looking for something good to read, interesting to watch, or fun to do. If you think we'd make a good home together, get in contact!
I’m a web designer currently living in the eastern suburbs but wanting to move closer to work. I have a couch, washing machine, dryer and kitchen ‘supplies’, so would like to team up with someone who doesn’t have those things. I’m also happy to get any remaining furniture/appliances required for the shared space if needed. I’m neat and tidy and a bit of a homebody, unless at work 9-5.30 or visiting family and friends on the weekend. I’d be looking for a place that’s walking distance to a supermarket and gym.
Good Day! My name is Laura, I’m 28 years old and a working holiday visa maker from Indonesia who’s looking for a long term place to stay from February the 11th 2018. A little bit about myself : I’m a single, straight, LGBT friendly, meat eater and a non smoker who has been staying in Melbourne for five months now, and planning to stay until March 2019. Currently working two jobs, in the morning I work in QV Market as a Barista, and sometimes at night I work in an Italian Restaurant on Flinders Ln. Most days I’ll be working, day and night, on weekends too, it’s quite sad I know but I’m the one who chose not to have a social life at the moment. However, if I’m having my day off, I’m either temporarily dead on my bed, or out and about, visiting friends, hanging out, drinking or dating, who knows. As a flatmate : I mind my own business and I have lived with other people before so I basically know the drill with that. I never had any issue with paying the rent as I always make an automatic transfer for it every week from my banking account. In the house, I clean after myself as I go and I always leave the common space as it is when I come & use it. I’m pretty much quiet, stay in my room pretty much all the time when I’m home, and I respect other flatmates privacy. But on the other hand I’m still a normal human being who needs to socialise and would love to have a chat (even a quick one) when we meet every now and then around the house/flat. Last but not least, I’m easy going with house rules (if any), and wouldn’t mind if you have visitors, as long as everything remains safe, drama free and undisturbing. What I’m looking for : First of all, my budget is around $180-200 for a proper fully furnished private room with a big window, all bills & house amenities included. The area where it’s convenient for me is around north melbourne, parkville, carlton or better yet, the cbd. The room is pretty much going to be my safe haven after work, so I need the flat/house to be nice & quiet. I’d prefer to live with like wise single professionals, male or female in their mid 20s who I can get along with effortlessly. And it would be a huge plus if your kitchen is fully furnished as well, as I found myself more in the kitchen lately. If I sound like a good match to be your future flatmates, send me a message with the details of your place, and I would love to arrange some inspections soon! Cheers :)
Hey what's up guys. Looking to live in a sharehouse, so preferably there'd be 3+ of us. I'm super chilled and easy to get along with. Pretty social so ideally looking for people that are similar and don't mind going out or having a few. Active/sporty type, though watch copious amounts of netflix haha. Work mon-fri in a government job so i keep it pretty low key during the week. If you've got a decent sense of humour and take banter like a champ I have no doubt we'll get on extremely well. Any other questions just shoot me a message, thanks guys.
HI, I’m really interested in your listing! The location seems perfect. I’m a working uni student looking at making your place my home (long-term) while I study in Parkville. Born and raised in Melbourne’s outer west. I’m going to be out of a home come the end of Jan. so looking at moving in soon or whenever possible (: Briefly I’m a pretty easy going guy, like to socialise, go for brunch, go for a hit of tennis and cook. Above other things, I’m a very responsible, respectful, clean and tidy person. I don’t mind at all doing my part around the house, mowing lawns, gardening etc. I’m LGBTI+ friendly, looking for a place that is also. Looking forward to meeting you and the other house mates! Cheers 🙂 Liam
Hi there :) My name is Aaron and I'm from Belgium, I have been in Australia for over a year and I love it ! I want to live with people that are quite tidy because it's easier to live in a clean and tidy place. I like cooking and I love sport :D Always looking to chat with people, talk shit or important stuff ;) I am looking for an accommodation in Melbourne because I am working as a high rise window cleaner in the CBD. I usually work from Monday to Saturday from 7 till 2, I am staying 4 more month in Melbourne and I would like to get to work in less than 20 minutes biking, yeah an other thing is that I love biking therefore I usually use my bike to get around and I would need to be able to store it safely :)
I am a flexible and easy going person. I am very social sporty person and i got a happy personality. I am tidy and clean after myself. I am a technical person who can fix stuff in and around the house if needed. I don't mind to cook. In fact I love the idea of alternating cooking with my flatmates to save ourselves some money and time.
