I'm looking for a private room in a social sharehouse (either team up or in an existing one) with laidback, like minded girls around my age. It would be cool to find someone/people I can become friends with rather than just 'housemates', who are up for the occasional weekend outing or a trashy TV show session at home, however also respecting each others down time also. I'm a casual/full-time receptionist, and I'm pretty laid-back during the week as I would be at work then at the gym, and on the weekends I like to go out for lunch, meet up with friends, have a drink or five, stay active, and just be lazy on the couch watching movies :) Definitely would like the communal areas clean, although a couple dishes in the sink won't bother me. Basically looking for good vibes and a nicely furnished place I can feel comfortable in and call home with cool people! Move in date early-mid April would be ideal!
I am a software developer and visual artist/photographer doing a Master of Contemporary Art at the Victorian College of the Arts. Looking for a room that is not far from transportation. I was working for a telecom company and made enough savings to cover my expenses for pretty long time, besides freelancing/casual work. I have a studio at the college where I spend most experimenting on my artworks, and at night I usually like to keep to myself, but I enjoy a conversation over a nice meal or drinks.
Hey guys ! I'm 26 years old, working full time for a bank in the CBD I'm originally from Brisbane and moved here about three years ago. Absolutely love living in Melbourne and plan to stay long term. I'm looking for a housemate to find a place together in or around the areas mentioned above. Currently living in Balaclava but would love an apartment that is a little more modern (and not as cold in the winter). I work 8-5 ish Monday to Friday, on weeknights I like to relax at home with the occasional wine and some good food. On weekends I like to keep social, heading out to brunch/ dinner with mates or going on road trips. I love having a friend or two over for dinner or a movie night every now and then, but I'm definitely not someone who always has a lot of mates over for big nights. Hoping to find a housemate who I can consider a friend and hang out with at home or head out for a local drink. Flexible with nice dates so the date mentioned above can be disregarded.
Hi there!! My name is Georgia and I am a 24 year old kiwi girl moving over to Melbourne! I am a radiographer and will be working full time on Bridge Road, Richmond. I will be in Melbourne from the 15th April onwards. I am a coffee and brunch lover (as well as a wine or two on occasion!). I go to the gym most days but also love a good binge watch or movie marathon. I am clean and tidy, respectable and always keen for some banter or a good laugh! Looking forward to hearing from you! Thanks, Georgia x
I’m a very considerate, introverted person who is looking for a room to share with 1 or 2 other people. And I have a small dog that is very affectionate and cute. I have just ended a 1 year lease where I didn’t advise the rental agency of her existence and they were none the wiser. She’s low maintenance and very loveable.
I'm Patricia, a spanish student working in hospitality. I've been In Melbourne since October, living in North Melbourne and now I'm looking for a single or share room, not too far from CBD (no more that 30 min by bike) where to live long time if it's possible. More about me... I'm 27 years old, vegetarian, non-smoker, quiet, friendly, responsible with payments, totally respectful with private space, easy going, clean and tidy. I love music, animals, Netflix, reading, traveling and climbing. In Spain I worked as therapist massage and osteopath. I would like to live with LGBT friendly people and house mates to talk and share some time would be nice.
Tidy, respectful, like to socialise and also have chill ones. Like to share dinners every now and then and hang out but respect others belongings and space. Exchange student from the UK at Monash Uni so study during the week and work in hospitality over the weekends mostly.
Hey people! We are an overseas couple looking for a private room for us to move asap. We are really easy going, clean, quiet and respectful. Always keen to do plans with our housemates. About us: - Laia: 27 years old, from Barcelona, with work and holiday visa so working full time. - Abdullah: 28 years old, from Abudhabi and studying. We would like to have our private room with own bathroom if that is possible. Happy to hear from you.
Helloooooo!! First up, the boring stuff: I'm a uni student studying languages and development studies, and I work in hospo so rent and bills etc are not a problem. I clean up after myself, do my fair share of housework, I've got my own furniture, and also some kitchen appliances to contribute to the household. I'm kinda sporty (I play hockey for Melbourne Uni, and I enjoy a bit of orienteering too), but I don't go for freakishly long runs every other day. On the fun side, I quite enjoy a beer or glass of wine over dinner, whether its at home or at the pub (love a good pub and beer garden), and I go to gigs and festivals whenever I can afford it. I enjoy the outdoors (although being in Melbourne without a car, that generally just means sitting in the back yard or walking along the Merri Creek Trail). I will happily re-watch GoT or HIMYM at any time and have a long list of tv shows I need to watch. Not the best dinner chef, but will happily supply homemade cakes, cookies and pickled veg! Also more than happy to live with any furry friends that you may have, especially if they're cuddly. Preferably 9 months to a year and happy to go on the lease if need be (would actually prefer it). I'm also flexible with move in date, doesn't have to be the end of March.

I’m relocating to Melbourne from Qld to start a new job so am looking for a room to rent (short term for 4-8weeks) to stay in when I first arrive till I find a permanent share house! Ideally from 1st April. I’ll be working Mon-Fri 9-5, am a friendly person, easy to get along with and have shared before so I’ve got that down pat. I have a pretty low-key lifestyle; I enjoy catching up with friends, going out for dinner/coffee/drinks, going to the beach, cooking delish food, binging on trashy reality tv etc but not one to be out partying every weekend. If you something available let me know! :)
Hi! My name is Alex, I’m a Chilean dentist going to study and improve my English level in Melbourne. I’m a quiet man, but I enjoy a good conversation with a glass of wine. I will study in mornings and I’m looking for what to do at evenings (probably try to work a few hours in something new for me, like a Cafe). I have a healthy lifestyle and I need a gym near.... I have a couple of friends living in Melbourne ( I prefer don’t live with them, because I will speak only in Spanish). My boyfriend will go looking for me (August 10th), so ideally I am looking to stay with he only 1 week in the place.
Hi there! Most people find me friendly and well mannered. I tend to keep to myself but always enjoy a drink and chat after work or on the weekends. I work as an administrator for Scentre Group (Westfield) Design & Construction, in a nut-shell we construct the shopping centres. I don't have much time during the week to socialise so it's mostly TV/Movies and Gaming. On the weekends i enjoy cycling and motorbike riding, going for the occasional run and keeping myself busy. Thanks for stopping by! :D
Hey!!! I'm currently looking for a room in Richmond or South Yarra. I work the regular 9 - 5 office hours during the week. In addition, I am very reliable with rent etc so you'll never have a single issue with bills being paid on time. I'm also very respectful and will always clean up after myself. I’m very laid back, easy to get along with and always keen for a laugh. I will be pretty chill throughout the week due to work however in the weekends I enjoy catching up with mates, watching sport, heading down to the beach or having a drink. If you have any questions please get in touch. Thanks, Jesse

Very clean and tidy, also down-to-earth. Openminded to learn international cultures and languages. We can be co-traveller, unless you want me to :) My hobby is taking photograph, you will get some pretty shot from me in return. I’m a sport lover. Love yoga and tennis ,even for outdoor activity. Hi! My name is Emily and I grew up on a dairy farm in a small country town. I moved to Melbourne in 2017 to study a Bachelor of Psychology. I am an animal lover (at home I have 5 dogs, a cat, a bird, etc) and have been vegetarian for the majority of my life. In my downtime I like to relax by playing video games (WoW mostly), watching movies and TV shows or listening to music. Art is also a hobby of mine that I would like to get back in to. I would be a great housemate. I am a clean and very responsible person. I have a quiet demeanour, so I will never be loud or disruptive, and I pride myself on being mature and respectful of other people. I am very friendly and laid back with a good sense of humour. I'm also a Pisces if that means anything to you. At the moment I am unemployed but will be actively looking for work once I am settled somewhere (currently living in Prahran and not enjoying it very much :(). I'm very excited to start working again! Thanks for reading :)
