Hi there, I’m looking for a cool place to stay in Melbourne on my first solo adventure on a working holiday to Aus. I’m a chatty, outgoing and fun person who makes friends really easily over a few drinks. I have just finished my Masters degree in England and now looking for some much deserved R&R!
Hi guys! I’m Mitch, I’m 27 and I’m probably excited and terrified in roughly equal measure about moving halfway around the world to Melbourne from the UK in a few weeks! 🙊 I’m a full-time Recruitment Consultant and will be starting my new job there in mid-January so ideally I’m looking to move in with a couple of cool people that I can become friends with to help me settle into my new life down under. Outside work I like to keep fit and gym 5 times per week. I’m also a keen competitive rower so will be doing this too. Obviously being in my mid (late 😭) 20’s I like to go out and have a good dance at the weekend, as well as enjoy good food, coffee and travelling. If you think I might be a good fit for a room you have available then please do get in touch! Thanks, Mitch 😁
I’m Noa, 22 years old from Israel! Decided to move for a while and thought Melbourne is a great option. I’m a very friendly and open minded person and we’ll probably be really good friends as roommates (as long as you want to you know) and that’s about that:) I’m looking for a room to rent, in a renovated apartment with no more than 2 other roommates, I’m a dog AND a cat person so.... it’ll be fun. See ya
I enjoy travelling, have an interest in reading, fitness and I love to cook! Having just finished a six month solo trip across the globe while staying in more than a dozen backpacker hostels, I've learnt to strike the balance between being sociable and respecting others' desire for space and privacy. I'm tidy and always clean up after myself. I love trying new activities and making new friends. I'm starting a law degree in Melbourne in 2019 and for that reason, I'm looking for a place close to the CBD.
I am a commencing Monash student studying in Parkville campus. I will study full time and work part-time. I am a kind, friendly, open-minded and clean person. I love watching horror and sci-fi TV shows and movies. I love old school rock music as well as modern indi bands. I very interested in playing football, basketball and would love to try other sport. I am also keen on going out and travelling to exotic places. I would prefer college students to be my house mates so that I could study with.
Greetings, I'm 18 years old & I recently graduated from year 12, I am hoping to be studying Criminology. To clear something up, while it says I'm a student, I'm really waiting on the offers to come in during January as this will determine what university I'm going to. (now the personal stuff), I like to socialize but I'm not a "party animal", my hobbies are Gaming, Guitar & occasionally I build & Paint models. I'm hoping to find flatmates of similar interests but that's not a requirement or anything. As for genders of flatmates, I am completely neutral in the matter it could be all girls, all guys or anything in between. While on the topic of flatmates, I personally am not part of the LGBT+ community. However, I do support them and you won't see any harassment or hatred coming from me, the same goes for race & religion.

Hola ! I’m an Event Manager from Melbourne - currently working in South Yarra. Pretty relaxed human. I honestly work quite a lot but in my spare time I love a vino / nibble / netflix / sport / board game session... Clean, tidy and all things friendly! Seeking a happy little home for about 4-5 months :) Evie
I've spent the last 9 years traveling all over the world for both work and for fun. I'm originally from Michigan but left at the ripe old age of 21. A short list of who I am: I've been told by other nationalites that I'm not 'loud' like American's are often known to be, I'm clean, do regular exercise, love to read and write, dance whenever possible (wearing headphones of course), and roller-skate (quads, not blades). I'm a genuine people person, but also really, really cherish my 'me time’ especially at home, and in return have no intention of disrupting yours. I will absolutely be working full-time and always keep busy in other after-work activities. I'm only interested in living with other busy professionals and *non-partiers*. I am a non-drinker and a non-smoker, but a regular dose of dancing keeps me young and quite happy. During my Working Holiday Visa I will be looking to both enhance my professional life (Team Building and Leadership Training) as well as continue with a few odd jobs I do as freelance (writing, coaching, voice-overs). My main goal is to learn to surf, catch some festivals, all the usual things you want to do when you turn 30. Currently I have only requested a 4 month stay in this area as I search for the right [Professional] job across Australia, where ever that may take me. I have a sister that lives in Melbourne, which is why I'm starting my trip there. :) Thank you for your time and interest. My best always, Laura
Hey. I’m a very clean, tidy, respectful and a fun flatmate. I enjoy meeting new people, going on food adventures and socialising, but I'm not a party person. I’m a huge fitness fanatic, love exerciseing and am constantly at the gym. And I love animals too. Right now, I currently live on the Gold Coast, but I will be making the move to Melbourne at the start of January to further my career in photography. I’m ideally looking for a place that is close to reliable public transportation and looking for a roommate/s (male or female) that are similar to me, career driven and are not party people. Additionally, I’m also looking for a room with my own bathroom.
Melbournian born and bred. Respectful, reliable, pay bills on time, clean, considerate, recycle and aware of the amount of energy I use. Looking for someone that can offer similar qualities. I am a morning person and may make noise in the kitchen early on, could wake you up, though happy to share a brekky smoothie with you! I come with a cat, she’s quite cuddly. I take full responsibility unless otherwise negotiated and agreed upon (the odd holiday). I work on St Kilda road and looking to live within 5km radius from there to encourage walking. Location preferences from south melbourne to St Kilda, Albert Park to South Yarra/Windsor/Prahran. I have sufficient furniture to fill a small one bedder, including a record player, comfy 3 seater, small fridge (not attached to this). I have no washing machine or dining table. Team up or a place that’s not fully furnished is ideal.
Hey team, I'm Jade! I'm a 22 year old nurse looking to move into the Maribynong/Ascot Vale/Moonee Ponds/Brunswick/Coburg suburbs sometime late Jan/early Feb long term for my new job. I'm super easy to get along with (am frequently described as "one of the boys"), love my sport, work hard, love an adventure and am always having a laugh. Would love to hear from you!
Hello everyone, I'm Krisha and I'm a second-year student at Swinburne studying Psychophysiology. As part of my course, I will be working full time at Austin Health in Heidelberg (Jan 2019 - Jan 2020). Therefore, I'm looking for a room to rent at a place close to the hospital/station (preferably walking distance, but I don't mind taking the bus or driving). I'm also open to teaming up with others who are interested in living in the same area. Also looking to live with female housemates. As for places in Ivanhoe and Rosanna, the closer to the station, the better! Currently, I'm working as a receptionist (on a casual basis) and I also teach piano. I'm tidy, easy to get along with and respectful of one’s privacy. Not much of a party person but I'm up for a chat and to hang out once in a while. My hobbies include painting and reading. Thank you for your time, Krisha
27yr-old Florist, moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane in January. Super easy going, clean, friendly, good at adulting. Very independent and down to do my own thing, but equally keen to hang out, have a drink and a chat, or go out together from time to time. You’ll mostly find me out seeing bands, trying my hand at some new creative outlet, or rummaging through piles of second hand clothing/goods somewhere. Mostly just a good egg, looking for a place to call home!
Hi there I'm looking for a place that is within 15km from the city and walking distance to public transport. I'm a clean and tidy person who is considerate, I respect other peoples privacy and expect the same in return, I can be shy at first but eventually opens up to people :-) The type of flatmate I'm looking for is someone who is respectful, considerate, tidy and that includes respecting there flatmate's privacy, and most important is someone that doesn't treat the place as a party house or who uses drugs !
Im Canadian and just arrived for a working holiday visa. I am an easy going, nice dude. I keep it very mellow but can also have a lot of fun. Work early during the week and will probably go out on weekends. I skateboard and make beats (on my headphones) so keeping to myself is not an issue. If we are the same vibes I am definitely not shy!
Hey there, my name's Fenna, I'm a 24 year old globetrotter from Austria (with Dutch roots). After finishing my bachelor degrees in Cultural- and Social Anthropology and African Studies, I'm currently on a gap year trip. I've just arrived in Melbourne after spending two months in East Africa and am intending to stay for a couple of months. So right now I'm looking for a shared flat to call home within the range of about $150-200 and I’d love to move in as soon as possible after the holiday season. I’d describe myself as open-minded, easy going and tidy flatmate, with quite some experience in living with other people: I’ve lived in a shared student flat for 5 years in Vienna, 6 months with international students in the Netherlands as well as quite some time with couch surfers. So when it comes to living together in a respectful manner and making sure everyone’s able to feel at home – I know the drill. Otherwise I love to cook, am a passionate foodie and coffee drinker. I’m into photography and film, music, books, hiking, running, dancing and relaxed evenings in or out with friends. So don’t hesitate to contact me if you think we’d be a good match or if you want to know more about me. Looking forward to meeting up! Cheers, Fenna
We are a happy easy going couple who have previously stayed in shared accommodations, therefore understand the sharing dynamics, keeping tidy and being respectful. Emmy (27) is from Sweden and I (29) from Scotland, we met 6 years ago in Oslo. We have lived together for the past 5 years. We are looking for a room from the end of December/start of January until the end of summer. I am working for Lululemon and Emmy currently in India, but returns to Melbourne on the 25th of December and has work lined up as a barista in St. Kilda. Emmy enjoys arts and crafts, yoga, baking and socialising. I am a keen cyclist who enjoys training and racing. Also very social. If we interest you as flat mates please don't hesitate to message me with any questions :-) Thanks!
I work in Television and love the arts and theatre industry in Melbourne. In my spare time I review stage shows and plays professionally for a publication. My toy cavoodle Penny and I are a package deal, she's an absolute delight and such a character. I'm looking for a house with a nice backyard space for her. She's completely house trained and a great asset to any home. I love wine, cheese and good company :)
