My name is Tom and I am 19 years old from London , United Kingdom. I have recently moved over on a working holiday visa for a maximum of 2 years. I am looking to find a room in a house with other young adults - starting November 2018. I am excited to get to know Melbourne and all of the things it has to offer. I enjoy sports, music, theater and socializing. Keen to meet people with similar interests or someone to have a laugh with. As I do not know Melbourne yet it would be good to meet people who can give me a few pointers on places to go as well as areas to look for work. Really easy going and a fun guy to be around - I am very relaxed but also very respectable when it comes to communal spaces and sharing a house. I have experience in bar tending and cocktail making - one of the reasons I wanted to move to Melbourne was to experience the extensive cocktail industry that Melbourne has to offer.
We are a nice 28 years-old French couple. My name is Laura and my partner is Nicolas. We have just arrived in Melbourne one week ago, as Nicolas benefited from an internal mobility process in his firm to settle in the city. His work (internal audit) is located in the CBD and he has classic workschedule. As for me, i will start looking for a job as soon as we find a flat. Thus, we are really excited to discover the city and people. We love sharing experience, chats, and enjoying moments with others. We have already lived with foreign flatmates abroad during our student exchange in Chile, and a 6-month travel in New Zealand. We are clean, tidy, open-minded and respectful of people and their living space. We like sport, nature and hiking, photography, music, as well as enjoying a good meal and drink.
Hi! My name is Carla, I'm 22 years old and I'm from Spain. I'm moving to Melbourne on the 6th of November. I'm on a work and holiday visa so I'll be working full time. I'm a social, reliable, clean and friendly girl .
We have both recently graduated from college and have come on a work holiday visa. We are both very tidy and respectful. We love to socialize and have fun but also hang out and relax. We will both be working part time and interested in traveling and exploring Australia in our free time.
Hi! My name is Teana and I can't wait to move to Melbourne as I have always loved the culture and liveliness there. I'm neat and tidy, always pick up after myself and be aware, if I start cleaning, I can't stop! I am a make-up artist and I love all things beauty related. I like to go out to eat or meet up with friends. If I don't head out then I'll put on a TV show and just eat a whole lotta snacksss. #snacks4lyfe
Hey , I’m from Sydney, currently working in Marketing and Events. I’m friendly, clean, easy going and considerate. I live a clean and healthy lifestyle style, I go out with friends to bars and restaurants on the weekends or stay home and watch Netflix. I’m always happy to talk, but also respect space and privacy as I hope for the same. Im looking for a private room , and it would also be great to find a roommate who lives a similar lifestyle and doesn’t party too hard. I’ve been sharing for many years and found good communication to be the key to a functional and happy household😊 If you have any questions please feel free to message me. Thanks !
Hi, I'm Tom. In 2019 I'm moving to Melbourne for a job at the Royal Children's Hospital. I've lived in shared accommodation for years. I think a good housemate is friendly, fun and chips in equal measure with the place. Ideally I'd be keen for a social group of people, I'm keen to go out to bars and restaurants or to stay in and do activities with the group I'm living with. My job involves shift work so every now and then I might be in and out of the house at strange times. For fun I like reading, running and classic Simpsons/Seinfeld. I bought a surfboard this year but I'm still terrible.
I'm extremely easy going, open minded and fastidious. So anyone living with me always benefits as I do most of the the cleaning. I respect others needs for private space with occasional socialising. I'm a full time student and artist, so spend most of my time doing assignments or paintings. I'm looking for low maintenance housemates who are also not overly sensitive emotionally. Just want to live in a drama free household. 😊👍 I have a Japanese spitz (small-medium size dog), but can keep her at family if absolutely necessary.I also have some furniture so looking for a place that can accommodate furniture or has storage for furniture until I can figure out what to do with it. I'm looking for home I can be comfortable in, and has a friendly, safe and open environment. This is imperative as I am more of a home body. Respect is also key regarding interaction between housemates as well as respect for belongings. I would like a bedroom door that is lockable and would prefer to live in a house, but open to apartment only if there is a balcony with view or a courtyard as apartments can get claustrophobic. 😜☺️
Hey! I'm Pip, I'm originally from Adelaide, and relocating to Melbourne for work. I love running, exercising and being outdoors, and enjoy cooking up a storm. My ideal Saturday is having a friend or two around for a laid back glass of wine, and making a legen-dairy cheese platter. I am very respectful of others space, always clean up after myself, and always willing to help around the house :)
Hi! I'm sam, just arrived in Melbourne! Originally from Liverpool in the UK but I've been travelling around Asia for the past 6 weeks and looking to stay in Melbourne permanently! I enjoy being social and sharing occasional meals with my housemates but also like to keep busy exploring Melbourne! I'm pretty chilled and laid-back through the week but I also enjoy to go out on the weekends! Give me a message if you think I'd make a good housemate!
Hi there! I am currently looking at moving closer to where I work in Parkville - tired of the commute from the other side of Melbourne! Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for about 3-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). As well as working full-time, I participate in things such as music rehearsals & other activities, so I am not at home very much. When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
Hey! My name's Kavi and I'm an international student currently studying music industry at RMIT. I've had Previous house share experience before and am clean, trustworthy, friendly and reliable. I'm always down for a good chat, I'm super easy and down to earth. I'm very passionate about my music and would love to share it with you! Looking forward to hearing back from you :)
Hey, I'm Simon. I'm a pretty busy guy, started a standup comedy record label I've been doing a heap of work on recently which is great, also love playing futsal, homebrewing beer (in tiny, fits in my bedroom type quantities), making delicious foods and hanging out, having a chat and getting to know people. Have a lot of energy though so busy as I am I still always find time for new things. For work my main thing is I'm an engineer at a chocolate factory and I also have a job hosting trivia sometimes. Housemate wise I think I'm super considerate and tidy in shared spaces and I hope just a generally nice person to be around.
Hi I'm, Zac I am 21 and looking for a home closer to town as I am going a back to uni next year. I am clean, respectful and easygoing. Love my games and sport (hockey). I also like a bit of drawing. Hoping to find some like minded people to live with. This is just an early add, won't be moving until early to mid January 2019 Cheers!
A little about myself. I’m pretty social and love my down time when I get home as my work can be high pressure. Patient Transport Officer, (Ambulance Attendant), . However love a glass/or 5 of wine (Red) and chat after work. Enjoy/love my food and a wine - watching movies, reading, sport-(watching) also exploring. Happy to share cooking or not - not fussed - same with grocery shopping etc. I’m friendly and easy to live with, very clean and tidy, looking for someone similar not the "Party" house type. Regards Pete
I am very respectful towards the others. I am clean and tidy and I don't smoke. I like to share meals with my flatmates and go out for a drink. I have always paid on time the rent and the bills.
Hi There, Seasoned share-house occupant. I'm currently living in Kew and looking to relocate to a more familiar location closer to work. I'm sociable and enjoy a catch up, however I understand how to maintain the privacy of others. I enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a day, netflix, a book, or even a house dinner. I have a variety of hobbies including guitar, painting and reading. I love to cook, currently I'm hooked on gumbo or maybe Japanese curry. I work in interior consultancy with the added luxury of a French scented range, so I bring home a lot of goodies :) Ideally I would prefer a non-party house.
Hi:) I am very easy going and dte person. I am full time student and love to doing yoga and meditation. I like to make new friends share things with them. And same time i do respect their and mine privacy:) I am looking to move in at the end of this month as my lease is finished here. Hope to hear from you Cheers Teena
So I'm moving to Melbourne and moving out of my house for the first time ever. *Cue dramatic music* Could be a scary thing but I'm sure I'll find a flatmate or two (it could be you reading this right now) who would end up becoming my best friend(s), and we could have the best time ever! So what do I like? Well, I love Technology (huge Apple fanboy), Football (so I would be staying awake late to watch some matches), watching stuff on YouTube, binge-watching shows, travelling, and playing sports like football, basketball, and table tennis. I do enjoy gaming, playing boardgames and love a great cup of coffee. When it comes to music, I've recently got Drake's Scorpion album on repeat! If you don't like that kind of music, don't worry, I love a lot of different genres :) Keeping my space clean is really important, and also having some privacy from time to time. I would be going to Melbourne School of Design to study Digital Technologies starting February 2019, so finding a place close-by would be great! Can't wait to hear from you! :)
