Hi future flatmate, I'm Rocky, another Kiwi who has moved to Melbourne to work in the insurance industry. I'm a respectful flatmate and believe in creating a harmonious environment for everyone in the home. I am respectful of shared spaces but enjoy socialising and getting to know my flatmates and won't be shut up in my room when I'm home. When being social, I love to sit in the garden or living room, swap some stories, laugh, and share a bottle of wine with some delicious cheese. Board games are another great choice! Most evenings I will be busy with something, gym, yoga, pottery or cooking classes, dinner with friends, or errands and on weekends, I spend exploring, art galleries, shops, travel, and markets. What can I bring? Excellent cooking skills, happy to help out in flat duties, caring and open personality, mature attitude, and fun.
My Ideal House I am an honest and trustworthy law student. I am hoping to find some other law students to share or team up with. My ideal house would be quiet, especially at night. (I don’t watch television, play music, drink or smoke). I would love to live with other law students/working professionals who would be up for a chat (and to bounce law-related ideas off one another) over a meal or a game of chess.
Hey, I am a full-time programmer working in South Yarra, looking for a place with a private room which is close to train or tram stations (don't own a car), I am pretty friendly and social. Always up for some banter. I like to keep things clean and tidy and clean up after myself. I have beginner cooking knowledge so I don't cook much (so won't mess up your kitchen :D) Send a message here or text me to get in contact Cheers!
Hi :) I am working as a researcher (&lecturer) at ACU and I just moved to Melbourne for my job. I am originally from South Korea and lived in Houston (US) for the past six years and have a good memory living with my friends there. I am easy going type of person but like to keep my place/room very clean and orgnized as well. I really want to meet good friends in Melbourne!:D
I'm a 22 year old from Sydney moving to Melbourne for the summer (November - February) for a full time research job. I'm super easy going, love to cook, enjoy exploring the great outdoors, watching sunsets, hiking, days at the beach and going for little adventures. Loves a glass of wine and always happy to have a chat but also equally as happy to do my own thing.
I'm a rock climbing from Canada. I got a working holiday visa for late October and want to settle down in Melbourne for 6 months to explore the city/country while working at a climbing gym. I'm independent when it comes to cooking and cleaning, and don't mind helping out around the house. I'm pretty laid back, love the outdoors, enjoy movies/games but also like to socialize with friends.
Searching for around six months, could be longer just sorting things out. I’m clean, respectful, quiet and happy. I work full time, enjoy life and like to laugh. I’m healthy, like to get out and enjoy life, enjoy the beach, the tam and great conversation.
Hey guys! My name is Mary, I’ve recently arrived back from 2 years living in the UK, and am looking to move out with my friend Rosie and one other person who could be you!! We are sociable, friendly, clean and respectful and are looking to team up with another like minded person :) I’m a special needs teacher and Rosie is a personal assistant. We are looking to start viewings in next few weeks with the aim of moving out early / mid December! Please message if you’d like to team up with us to create the best house share ever! X
30 yr old male moving down from Sydney for work. I'm easy going, respectful of others and previously housetrained. I'm a data-driven professional working in investment research so I eat spreadsheets for breakfast, also a blockchain enthusiast. During the week I will be on my laptop most of the time watching financial news, following stocks or learning new programming languages. Enjoy whisky / food adventures and retired from partying so prefer peace and quiet on weekends (with the occasional random night out).
Hi everyone, I’m Vicky. I’m a friendly, tidy and fun 23yr old female from England who has just moved to Melbourne and I am looking for a place to live for the next 2/3 months. I currently work in the CBD and I’m open to a shared or private room, the most important things for me are nice flatmates and a good location :)
We are a group of friends looking to move out of a hostel into a property until approximately end of December, with the option of extending our stay until Feb/March. 2 x English females 1 x New Zealander female 2 x Scottish males
I am moving from Auckland, New Zealand to pursue a PhD in Melbourne by late January 2019. Taking my time to find a place. I’m social, love to cook and I’m clean and tidy. Reliable and easy going by nature makes me easy to live with.
hello! I’m from Texas and I’ve been in Australia for over a year now. I’ve traveled much of Aus but really felt myself at home in Melbourne! I’m a social worker back in the USA with plans to go back for my masters degree next August. I love people and I love being social but I also really appreciate my alone time. I live as sustainable of a life as I can and do my best to buy fresh and local food. I’m basically an at home vegetarian but haven't made the full plunge quite yet. I volunteer weekly and I am working full time in hospitality! I just started exercising regularly, too! I like to keep busy and I’m always interested in a good beer and a good chat.
Ian is 27, from Scotland and has been in Australia since February 2017. He is a roof tiler, works full time and has a job lined up for when we arrive! Gabby is 29, is just about to graduate nursing and has accepted a position at a hospital to start in early February next year. Originally from Melbourne but has been living on the Sunshine Coast since March 2017 for a little break and to study. We also have a little cat called Pippa, who is very friendly, cuddly and quiet. She will probably head butt you for pats, but other then that, she's pretty chill. (She will for sure stalk you if you're eating ham though) We are both very easy to live with, very tidy and aware that we are sharing a space with other people and to be respectful of that. We also get down with wine and socialising but just not every weekend anymore ... you know .. saving and that. We are moving around the 15th of December as that is when our current share house lease ends, so would be in Melbourne a few days after that! PS. I tried to upload a photo of the two of us but it cropped me out so you have a lovely close up of Ian and it won't let me change it lol. Apparently, it likes him more than me.
I am a socially outgoing 23 year old with a rental history for 2.5 years in Melbourne. I tend to make conversations easier but also respect personal space. I am employed at Coles and also work as a teaching assistant.
Hey guys, Just recently moved over from Perth to start a new job in the finance industry. I’m an energetic, honest, and reliable guy who enjoys a chat, but also has the empathic qualities needed to respect other people’s privacy. I own a property in Perth which is currently tenanted, therefore have a decent amount of extra cash to ensure rent is always paid on schedule! Clean & tidy individual Garage would be desirable, however off-street parking is also sufficient.
I'm a laid back 19year old, that lives in regional Victoria. I recently got offered a job in Melbourne CBD, so looking to move down and explore more of the city. I'll be working full-time, Monday to Friday, and occasionally visiting back home on weekends. I enjoy being active and exploring, and I'm also a huge foodie. I don't drink often at all, and my Saturday nights are lazy ones in watching movies or relaxing. I love socialising, but I definitely enjoy my own privacy.
My name is Alexandre. Me and my girlfriend (Paula) are looking for a place to share for at least three months in Melbourne (it can be extended). We have been dating for a long time and we are friendly and tidy! We like our privacy but we also like to hang out sometimes, drink some good beer/wine listen to music, go to bars etc. We will be working full and part time/studying.
A human.Being. I’m a creature of contradictions—An athletic bookworm, a night owl who’s an early riser, and an active guy who loves to be lazy on Sunday mornings. Currently, I’m looking for great housemates, a bed, working WI-FI and a roof over my head (walls would be nice too) till I find my own apartment in Melbourne. • I am very clean but not obsessive about it; I tidy after myself • I don’t watch much TV other than rugby and classic movies • I enjoy discovering recipes and I’m always interested in learning new things whether it’s history, docies, the guitar or heading downtown to check out a band I’ve probably never heard of—the weirder the better. Let me know if I can crash at yours or just give me some tips on some great recipes.
