My name's Jacob but I usually just go by Jake, I'm 22 and into technology, art & cycling - I relocated to Melbourne from Perth in October because Melbourne is incredible and have secured full time work here whilst continuing to work remotely part-time for an information security consulting firm in WA. I've been staying with a friend in Melbourne and am looking for more permanent accomodation to call my own for a minimum of around 6 months, I like to keep my living space neat, happy to split household costs fairly and would prefer somewhere with a modern kitchen/bathrooms & decent internet. Always keen for a bit of household banter/to make dinner & watch a movie or something from time to time but I work hard and like to chill outside of that (AKA I'm not going to be inviting handfuls of people over) also if you have any tech issues it's pretty much certain I can resolve them. I have good rental references from real estate in Perth (have held leases in my own name previously) as well as any professional or personal references that are necessary. Hit me up if you have any questions/wanna offer me a place or get lunch and discuss it (feel free to show me more places to get delicious food in Melbourne)
I am looking for a female to team up with and start a new place! I am searching for a female in their late twenties to team up with. Someone who is clean and tidy, working full time, enjoys their own space but would also be up for a meal or wine together on occasion. The type of place I would like to search together for would be a two bedroom, apartment/ townhouse in Richmond, South Yarra or Hawthorn. If this sounds like you and you would be looking to move into a new place late November/ Early December, feel free to message me. Cheers, Katie
Im new to Melbourne, originally from the UK and looking to stick around a while as I have just got a job in the CBD full time. Ive lived in a few house shares and like to be social with house mates most of the time. Easy going and well house trained. Spend most of my free time out and about or relaxing watching to/sport, cooking, playing football, cycling etc. Get in touch!
I am Bertrand, working at Monash Uni as a post doc researcher in population biology. I have been in Melbourne since January and I am here for a total of 2 years. I am laid back, easy going, sociable, clean and French! I used to live with housemates and love it. I like sport (gym, tennis, biking), cooking Italian food, enjoying life with friends and socialising. I work quite hard during the week but like to have a good time during the week end. I am looking for a new house from november. Cheers
I'm a easy going guy easy to get along with clean and tidy always super busy with work As I work at platypus shoes, I'm looking for somewhere I little closer to the city as I'm not a huge fan of traveling to get to work. I love food so I'm always out getting food and trying new things I also don't mind a good beer every now and then 🙂
Hi I'm Heidi, 26 and just moved over here from Ireland (Donegal). I have a degree in metal craft design. Was working in dublin full time as a bartender. Im now working in the CSIRO. I'm looking for a room as central in Melbourne as possible to make the most of living here. I'm definitely a social person and enjoy having the craic. I'm clean and tidy and very considerate and respectful to others. 😊
I'm a 24 year old British girl working full time in the CBD. My lease is unfortunately up mid/end of November, so looking for somewhere new preferably long term! I'm easy going, clean and generally up for a good time (with the occasional early night & series binge)
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old guy from Helsinki, Finland. I'm a multimedia designer by trade and usually work in the creative fields. I'm in Australia on a working holiday visa and planning to spend the following months in the awesome city of Melbourne. Currently my long term plans are pretty open so therefore I'm looking for a short term lease on a private room in a nice shared house/apartment with nice roommates. Ideally I would like to rent a room for the next 3 months or so, but I'm also open for shorter and maybe longer deals. I'm a responsible, clean, open-minded and an easy-going person. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I'm used to sharing apartments with other people and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Looking to share in 227-229 Toorak Road, ILK Apartments. I've been living in a one bedroom apartment in the building for the past two years and now keen to give my savings account a little more love by sharing a two bedroom apartment instead. I'm an experienced flat mate, having gone to boarding school for four years and lived in shared houses/apartments with both males and females for over 6 years. I probably wouldn't describe myself as a morning person, though I do like to get out and about to make the most of each day, however on occasion I've also been known to make bestfriends with couch and a Netflix series. On more days then not I do like to live in an organised, tidy and clean space, but when life gets hectic I can handle a little chaos. My job can make me pretty exhausted, so not always up for a lengthy debate on war and peace each evening, but instead may just prefer my own company. I'm very open to meeting new people, so happy for friends and family to regularly visit.
Female, 23 years old, non-smoker. I'm a pretty social person who loves a chat and to hang out from time to time. I also like to be a little independent and have some space, and I definitely respect others' need for that too. I am currently looking for full time work, but working part time (weekends). Food, wine, music (including breaking into song) and animals are the loves of my life. I am open to any pets! I have 2 pet rats which live in my room, and are super friendly little sooks (they are clean, contained and do not run loose through the house so to other housemates it's pretty much like they're not there at all). I am pretty darn tidy and always clean up after myself....and I may or may not sing in the shower. I'm pretty flexible with length of stay and move dates.
We're two friends from Europe (France and Germany) who love traveling, meeting new people and discovering cool places. We're both non smokers and love animals, so we don't mind if there are animals around but would rather live with non-smokers. Currently, we're both looking for part time jobs. We would be happy to find one or two rooms in a shared flat with outgoing, fun and interesting people to do activities and have fun with :)
I'm a student at Monash, studying bachelor of Science and Arts. I'm from Ireland but have been in Australia for about 3 years. I am a friendly, quiet guy who likes to keep to himself but I'm definitely up for a bit of fun. I've been living with family so far but my dad moves back to Ireland in March and I'm looking to stay on. I'm very clean and organised, I spend a lot of time either in my room or at my girlfriend's house, I'll be at uni a lot too while also trying to contend with a 20 hour working week at Woolworths so I won't be around that much. My hobbies include playing soccer (football, as I prefer to call it), reading and playing video games. I'm quite low maintenance and relaxed so I think I'd be pretty easy to live with. At the end of the day I just love to kick back with a beer and chill out so if you want someone who is easy to get along with, I'm your man.
I'm a 23yr old dietitian relocating from Queensland for work, and looking for a place to call home and meet fun people. I'm pretty relaxed, clean and tidy, work hard through the week and love a good beer and boogie on the weekends. Let me know if you'd like to know anything else 😊
Born in Vancouver, Canada. Well travelled; lived in Europe, South America and USA for extended periods of time. I have been living in Melbourne for the past year, I work as a PA in the city. I am tidy and clean. I am athletic and enjoy living a healthy lifestyle. I am responsible, but I also like to have a good time! I like spending time with friends; going out on the weekend or just taking it easy at home watching movies. I like to cook, but also like dinning out on the occasion.
Very chilled, easy going housemate, partnered with Atticus, my 2 yr old Maremma pup. Grew up in Melbourne, went to school in Kew and work in hospitality as a barista. I genuinely love people and a social, healthy lifestyle. Travelling and seeing the world is my biggest hobby, recently arriving back from India and Thailand. Hence the urgency for finding new place to live. At home, I'm very respectful of the house, cleaning and helping out with dinner is my forte! When cooking for myself, always make sure that I make extra for the house in case anyone else is up for a feed. In saying that, I love sharing a meal and going down to the local for a beer/wine. At my last humble abode, I had an amazing 3 yrs with my housemates. Always having a laugh and helping each other out. I genuinely end up caring about the people I live with and like to create a chilled, homely environment, stress free. My pup, Atticus. Being close to 2 yrs old, he is extremely well house trained, well mannered, outside and inside dog. Literally never acting up and mostly looking for cuds, loved by all he comes across. As for his breed, the Maremma, also non-allergenic, they are used protect penguins on the coast (If you've seen the movie Oddball). Of course I take him for 2 walks a day and you'd be more than welcome to join or take him for walks yourself! He's even great company to take down to the local cafe or pub with your friend's. As for having people back at the house, I generally make most of my social activities out of home. As most of my friend's are mature, in their late 20's to mid 30's. My hobbies include, guitar, jumping on the Ps4 from time to time, watching Netflix, walking Atticus, cooking and catching up with friends/family. I'd be able to bring a lot to the home, as I'm currently keeping most of my belongings in storage, which include - Fridge, washing machine, couches, kitchenware, outdoor setting, BBQ, flat screen T.V & home theatre system, bookshelves, decorative pieces, art and more. Of course any of this would have to be agreed upon, otherwise I'm very happy to leave it where it is. If I meet your criteria for a new housemate, I'm happy to come and check out the house at your convenience! As I'm on the hunt for a home after travelling. Ready to move asap. Rent and bond is in hand. If you'd like anymore details, feel free to let me know. Thanks for your time, Lachie
Hey, I've just moved to Melbourne and Andrew is coming to join at the start of December once he finishes his travels around Asia and New Zealand! We're both very easy going people, love to travel, cook and chill out. I'm free to move into a house whenever and he'll come join when he arrives! Get in touch!
I'm quiet and creative, would be great to live with other creative people! I'm a seamstress/designer in my spare time so I'm happy to hem your jeans~ Other than that I'm a big geek too!
A few things about me to spike your interest, as I assume you probably get a million messages! I work full time for a land surveyor as well as studying part time as a building designer. I'm hard working and highly reliable.. Brought up the good Ol' fashion way, so I know how to clean up after myself and cook a mean meal well too - if you're keen to share a meal or two together.. I get to the gym or yoga most days and love anything active or in the sun. Love a good weekend out and about or a relaxing night in on the couch with a glass of Pinot.. I'm a very down to earth, easy going person, but definitely enjoy my own space. I am looking for someone who is also respectable and a pleasure to live with. I'm 22, but definitely an old soul.. probably get along better with people quite a bit older than me so more looking for house mates in the 24+ vercinity.. but not too fussed..
I am a 29yo Kiwi (I've been living in Melbourne for five years. I work full time at CPA Australia an accounting body as a member adviser. I'm into pretty much all sports and love to hit the gym. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy a night in watching sport or a movie and the odd night out on the town, the hangovers are getting a bit rough to handle. I've lived in share houses since arriving in Australia and am very respectful of privacy and cleanliness.
We are two girls from Norway, who are looking for a place to stay now that we have finished travelling up the East Coast. Both of us finished college last year, and we are now enjoying our freedom before studying next fall. We are chilled, enthusiastic, reliable and keen to meet new people! Also, we enjoy making great food and like to keep things organised. We are looking for full-time or part-time work in Melbourne and want some routine back, by living in a flat and not 10 bed dorm hostels!
Hey, I'm Ana and I'm 21. Born in NZ, lived in Aus half of my life. Currently working at the Post Office, Monday to Friday. Love running, staying healthy, eating, meeting new people and going out every now and then. I am very clean and tidy and keep to myself. Also easy to get on with and sociable. Loves a Bev or 10 at the end of the work week. Looking to meet and live with cool people who are fun and easy going.
Hello all! I am in Australia for a year on a working holiday visa, and am already in love with Melbourne. I am wanting to find a place that I can call home for the next 3 months (with possibility for extension). I am very clean, tidy and respectful of everyone, and also like to socialise. I would love to live with people I can hangout with after work chilling at home, but also am totally happy in my own space. I can move straight away as well. Room must be furnished! Looking forward to meeting potential housemates :-)
Hi there! Born in Australia with an Armenian background, easy going, normal guy. Weekdays are 9-5 job, like to get up early some mornings and go for a run and some nights boxing after work. Like to socialise, eat out, travel, go to the footy and loveee listening to music. I am a clean guy but not the clean freak type!
I'm a Single Guy Moving down to the city from the country. Im needing a place to stay for around 4 months or possibly more. Need to find some accomodation soon, somewhere in the SE suburbs Somewhere close to St Kilda-ish. I'm a very tidy and sociable person, love a chat and a chicken parmy, I go to the gym and love fishing and a drink. Just looking for a few young decent guys or girls to board with. Hi! ABOUT ME I am clean, respectful of belongings, privacy, and noise. I am friendly and outgoing, enjoy all sports, reading good books, travel, and trying new things. I currently run my own business in the fitness industry which keeps me busy during the early mornings and evenings. I compete in triathlons so definitely not a party animal but would love to share a meal/wine with you a 1-2 days a week. IDEAL HOME Looking for a share house that has a clean, safe and homily environment. I don't know many people in Melbourne so would like a house that is welcoming and friendly. Looking for a large room and safe place to store my bikes. I also have a car so would need a car space or access to street parking. Looking to move in from Mid - November onwards as lease is expiring soon. If you think I would be a good fit for your house please get in contact! Amy
I'm a 31 year old Irish guy who is moving to Melbourne in late November from London. I will be mainly working during the week in St Vincents Hospital in the city. I'm a fairly good housemate I think. Clean, tidy, can cook, easy going, sociable and all the rest. I love sports, films, tv, going out, fitness and travelling. I'm looking for a furnished room in a flat share so if you have a spare room and you think I would be a good housemate then get in touch. P.s. I hate writing these bio things so if I sound like a knob then I apologise.
Hey guys, We're a super cool and awesome couple looking for a place to rent in or around North Melbourne. We're on a working holiday visa and have finished our travels, and now just looking to spend the remainder of our time in Melbourne while we work. We've both working professionals (we're not boring k lol), and are very clean and tidy (we're in a place now that stank of smoke and mouldy shower galore, and omg the first two days of living here was napalm strike everything to clean it wtf). We're outgoing but we're not the type that live for the weekend and throw parties all the time. So, if you have a 1 bed apartment or a 2 bed flatshare or whatever that's in our budget we would be the best people to take it pls! Thanks, Rio & Haris
I am a clean, respectful, and social woman of 22 from Montreal. I am on a working visa in Australia for one year and am planning on staying in Melbourne the entire year. I love my own space, but I do love to hang out as well. I am looking for a quiet environment that does not host big parties every week. I have lived with other flatmates before and have always gotten along very well. I have become friends with most of them. The only thing that annoys me is a dirty kitchen because I love to cook, so this is pretty much my only requirement that will make me happy!
Im a 24yr old Australian girl originally from Perth but moved to Melbourne earlier this year and am in search for a room (preferably a private one). I have lived in heaps of sharehouses and am well and truly house trained. I'd be so keen for housemates of similar age and easy going individuals who are up for a bit of after work banter but also respect each others space when needed. Not so keen to come home to house of closed doors and complete silence every night. In terms of work, I have just started a new 9-5 job in south yarra. I am excellent at paying my bills/rent (and if I’m too poor i still call the bank of mum or the credit card). Im pretty easy going and love to have a laugh. I do love a cheeky night out on the weekend but am always respectful of other housemates and have perfected the silent return. Hobbies include netflix, netball, baking, socialising, doing nothing in my activewear, trying out new cafes and bars etc I can never think of what sort of things I should say here so if you have any other questions lemme know!!
Hey, I'm Dane, 22yo male originally from the north coast of NSW but lived in Melbourne for almost two years. I have just arrived back in Australia (20 Oct 2016) from five moths travelling overseas, so currently back at my parents place up north. I work in hospitality, so as a result I love a good meal and a well made beverage. Although I do enjoy a night out I enjoy a night in just as much. I have shared before and and very aware of how to co-exist with others that may not be on the same working schedule as myself (hospitality obviously has some odd hours). So being respectful of others in the house when I get home from work and what not. Hopefully when I get back to Melbourne I pretty much pick up where I left off, working full time and enjoying being 22.
Hello i am Kyra. I'm from Holland travelling through New Zealand, Australia and Asia. I have a working holiday visa in Australia so i need a place to stay for a longer time. I want to work in Melbourne because everyone says its the best city in Australia! I am very sociable, happy and open minded. Because i am ttavelling i will be doing a lot of exploring and not much staying in. Ofcourse i will respect my flatmates privacy and rules etc. So i won't be a pain in the ass :) All i want is to have a good time!!
Hi there! My name's Lea, I'm at a 23 year old woman from Vancouver, Canada. I graduated from uni with a history major last May and decided that between that and grad school I would love to do a few months in Melbourne and explore Australia! I've got the work-holiday visa and am planning to find a serving job or something like that. Pretty easy-going gal, I'm very friendly and love to chat, but also am into alone time to relax and chill out. Funny, respectful, love both cats and dogs (will help you take care of your pet if you have one!), anything else you want to know please feel free to send me a message! Also, I'm very flexible with the length of my stay, I just put 3 months a bit randomly because I had to choose one.

I am extremely clean so I prefer to live on my own for this reason. I spend most of my time at work. I am studying as well as working next year. I'm searching for a place on my own in a studio or one bedroom apartment. Please message me if you have something available around the 16th of January when my current lease is up. I'm open to locations around Melbourne. Please send a link with pictures of the place :) Requirements: -Car park -Room to fit king sized bed & draws -Price - can go to $350 if the place is amazing! i.e., gym, new apartment or studio, LUG, location, etc. Thanks! :)
I'm looking for an easy home environment to move into, preferably long term. I’m an easy going social person and I like to get out of the house to check out the food and drink scene. Ideally would like to live with people who are also social and easy to communicate with. I'm an international studies student and I work as well, but being a student doesn't affect my ability to pay bills on time. Send me through a message if you have questions :)
Hi I'm Geraldine! I'm 33 and work full time as a secretary for a Plastic Surgeon in Windsor. I would describe myself as someone who is honest, caring and hardworking. I like to think that I have a great sense of humour?.... I am an easy going person & get along with with most people. I also enjoy travelling, watching movies, going out for dinner/drinks and having great conversations, whether it be about the birds and the bees, or why the sky is blue? I do respect ones privacy and personal space and I must stress that I am a very tidy person. I'm a great housemate! 😊👍🏼
Accountant - Clean, responsible and reliable Snowboarder/Traveller - Extremely social and easy going, love chilling at home with friends or getting a drink after work Outdoorsy - Always looking for my next thrill
Hey! We currently live in Hawthorn and our lease runs out in December. We both work full time in retail and are easy going people. Clean, respectful and love to have a wine and a boogie but also like to chill out during the week. We are looking to find a person or couple that we can not only share a place with but also have a friendship with. We have both been living in apartments for years and super keen to get a bigger place with an outside space so we can enjoy the summer having bbqs. We already have furniture for the place so it would be ideal to find someone who has minimal stuff. Hannah works at Chadstone and Matty works in the city so we want to find a place that is relatively close to a train station & the M1 freeway- but we are pretty flexible. Get in touch and we can meet up for a drink and see if we are compatible.
Moving back to melbourne as ill be starting a new job and wanting to live close to home, very quiet easy going !!! Love my privacy but also love to chat nothing worse and being awkward in a house hold !!! Haha I travel alot and live a busy life style.
From near Liverpool, UK. Originally came here as a backpacker, but recently sponsored to work full time as a Front End Developer (fancy job title for someone who builds websites). Currently living in Werribee and working in Mulgrave - so hoping to cut that commute down by more than half! I work hard, but don't mind enjoying myself at the weekend with a few beers. I have a terrible coffee habit, which is convenient for me to live in Melbourne. Love snowboarding. Scuba diving. Playing guitar badly (don't worry, the guitar is back in England). Listening to music (Foo Fighters, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, John Butler Trio, Doves, Jack White, The Beatles). Watching TV (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Parks and Recreation, Rick and Morty) and Films (Into the Wild, America Beauty, Batman, Inception, Interstellar etc). Hoping to get straight back into a gym routine once I've settled, so looking forward to that. I'm clean and tidy, so you won't have to worry about living in mess. Love exploring new places, eating at new restaurants and working my way around the many cafes of Melbourne. I'm sociable and outgoing, but also enjoy my own space every now and again. Hoping to find a flat share with like-minded people.
Hi I'm Rob, originally from NZ, been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the events industry. Hey! I'm Catherine and am looking for a share house in or around st kilda. I'm currently studying and working full-time in the city so living close to public transport is a must! Outside of work, I like to keep active by riding or walking. I also enjoy reading, watching movies/tv shows, going to the beach or heading out to a new cafe or bar Although I'm a bit of an introvert, I'm friendly and love meeting new people. I like to keep things clean, and am respectful of other people's property and space. If any of this interests you, or you have any questions, please feel free to message me :) Thanks!

Hello hello! We are an *AWESOME* couple looking for some peace of mind so we can get work done! Bruno is an entrepreneur. He owns an advertising agency in Brazil and is currently launching a new online business - so he's always working on his laptop (either at home or in some trendy cafe). His mains hobbies are reading, networking, attending seminars and exercising outdoors. Oh, and he also writes about Personal Development. Leticia is a ballerina. She has a promising career as a contemporary dancer and has even performed internationally with big names in the industry. She's a very active individual, and is always moving - either taking ballet classes, practicing yoga or doing pilates. We've been travelling Australia & New Zealand for the past 3 months in search for the perfect city to settle down. After visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Auckland and Queenstown, we finally have a winner :) Right now we're looking for a place with central location to set our base. Bruno will be doing lots of work and going to business meet ups, and Leticia will be outside visiting dance studios and honing her craft. We're very easygoing and have a positive mindset, and we value a clean and organized environment. And as much as we love to chat and interact, we can also respect your privacy if you're not very talkative. Oh and 2 things that are important to mention: 1. We are both vegan and we love to cook - so we'll use the kitchen a lot! But don't worry because we always clean up after ourselves. 2. Bruno is allergic to cats and cigarettes. So it must be a no-cats, no-smoking house. If you read this far and believe we'd be a compatible match for your place, then send us a message and let's get to know each other! We can't wait to meet our new flatmate ;)
I work full time as a graphic designer during the week and like to relax, socialise and exercise in the evenings. I'm very easy going but not that easy going that I leave a mess all the time. I can cook and am not afraid to help out keeping the place tidy. At the weekends I love to get out and do things and socialise at night so would be great to find like minded people.
I am looking for someone or two people who I can move in with at the end of this year. I am currently working full time but am wanting to go back to university to study my Masters. I like sports; tennis, swimming and yoga. Other hobbies include; cooking, travel, seeing movies and hanging with friends. Would ideally want a person who is either working or studying that is easy going and I can get along with.
My name is Bárbara, i'm 36 years old and have born in Bilbao, Spain. I´m a creative writing teacher. I really enjoy being socially active, this is my first time in Australia and I consider this as a great opportunity to experience the Australian lifestyle. I've come to Melbourne to study english and because I've heard wonderful things about this city.

We both are socialable and up for a good laugh, like to eat out and have a few drinks a few nights a week! We are in Melbourne till next year when we are looking to travel more of Australia!
Hey! Little about me: my name is Hamad, I’m a 21-year-old international student studying my bachelors in IT and Business at RMIT. Originally from Saudi Arabia and lived a few years in the states, so I’m fluent in both English and Arabic. Enjoy going outside and being active, like playing basketball, swimming, hiking, anything really. I like to believe I’m a good housemate, tend to keep my place clean and tidy as a go, and rarely leave it for later. Despite being in IT I’m very sociable and easy to get along with haha.
