I moved from a small, far south coastal NSW town in 2016 to start at Melbourne Uni in a science degree. I'm hoping to get into med (scary) to become an orthopaedic surgeon! I also work in a foodstore/cafe in South Yarra. I'd like to find a place with a few people (preferably late 20s, mature and not into drugs and smoking) who are either full-time workers or full-time students and have lived in share houses before because I don't want to live in a "party" house (however, I don't mind going out for a drink once in a while). I have lived in share houses before and I'm very considerate, polite, very quiet and a bit of a clean freak and respect everyone's private space. I'd like to find similar people to live with! I enjoy studying (weird, I know), hanging out with friends, exploring Melbourne and going to the gym. I binge watch stupid youtube videos, Friends and obviously Harry Potter. Also, I'd love someone to go to the footy with me! If someone wants to take me to the beach as well I won't decline the offer :) My ideal place would be near a train station since it's a bit of a trek to uni, especially in the mornings! (no share rooms)
A very easy going couple, who are clean, organised and respectful. We both enjoy time to ourselves but at the same time are looking for a place to call home in a comfortable environment where we can share frequent dinners and join in on movie marathons with our house mates.
My name's Angus, I'm 24 years old, and I'm looking for a place to call home for the foreseeable future. To make ends meet I work in a hotel concierge team in the city. Think Grand Budapest Hotel with more adventure and intrigue, crossed with Fawlty Towers with more slapstick, & you've got the right idea of what I do. Shift hours for this often means early rises & early bedtimes, but that's fine. I'm a fun, caring, considerate, reliable housemate who and would be a great addition to your home. In my spare time I enjoy exploring the city, writing, telling myself to start reading the collection of books I'm accumulating, crashing bicycles, cooking (devoted follower of those legends, Jennifer and Clarissa), and catching up with friends. I'm not a huge partier, and much prefer a quiet night in with a cup of tea & a good book to going out & raging. I do have a car so somewhere to park would be an advantage, but it's not 100% crucial. Please let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know.
Hey folks! I am Sumit, a Master's student of Design at Monash Caulfield. I keep my room very tidy and like staying with people who prefer keeping home organised. I do not smoke at all, nor do I appreciate my housemates smoking at home. Most of the time I am busy with studies and doing assignments but I do like to talk a bit and socialise over a glass of wine whenever I get some time from my hectic routine. I also like to cook sometimes but only vegetarian food. Staying vegetarian is a personal choice which I associate with idea of respecting every life on this planet. I am not religious but respect everyone's belief system. You can always trust me for rent as I never miss the deadline. I am looking for team-ups with up to 2 more people to share an house. Keeping it max to 3 including myself shall ensure everyone of their space. I am only interested in team-ups with working professionals (Singles - Males/Females) and students. I am looking for a furnished apartment/room with shared facilities of refrigerator, washer, dryer, gas as a standard equipment. A BIR is a must for my bedroom. . let me know if you think that you can team up with me or offer me a place to stay for next 1 year or more. . I am intending to move in Week 1 of April 2018. Thanks and kind regards.... :)
Hi, I'm Sage, I'm 25, from Perth originally and moved over to Melbourne 6 years ago. I'm in sales, so I'm quiet social. Animal lover, so if you've got any pets a big bonus for me :) into my fitness but also enjoy my wine. Just looking for a relaxed house hold that is tidy and fun.
Hey Flatmates, I'm looking for a new place to rent, i'm tidy, clean and organized.. a non- smoker who is relaxed and quiet but do enjoy a casual chat and drinks. I'm currently studying and working part- time Never late on paying rent and will treat my new place like home :)
Hi, My name is Emmett and I’m looking for a place with another buddy of mine from Ireland. We will be working and staying for a year or more. We are clean, friendly and pay on time. We’d like to meet people and become friends but we also know that everyone needs space. We are just looking to experience Australia so will be out exploring a lot. Thanks, Emmett.
We are a young Swedish couple on working holiday visas. Both are hospitality workers, and we are looking to stay in Melbourne about six months, maybe more. In our free time we like to go to the gym, go for walks, and of course stay in and just relax. We are clean, friendly, easy going and open minded, sociable but also like to keep to ourselves. We enjoy grabbing a beer or two but prefer our home to be a non party house.
Hey, I’ve just moved from London to Melbourne, arrived on the 18th of March and have three weeks in an Airbnb before I’m homeless! I'm 27, which sounds scary now it's down on paper. I'm a secondary school English teacher and have just been granted a permanent residency. I decided to move in March to coincide with Term Two, so I should begin working within a few weeks of arriving. I plan to do relief work while I get settled and then move on to a more permanent role. I'm clean, tidy, responsible, dependable, try to do one nice thing a day. (Well, one random act of kindness a day, but hopefully more than one nice thing in total!) Aside from my job, which I love, I’m really sporty - a huge football (soccer to you guys?) fan and keen for someone to teach me all about AFL. I love being active, outside, exploring, generally being busy. Not shy of an evening on the sofa or a good competitive board game, after a long day either though. As I’ll know absolutely nobody when I first arrive I'd be grateful for some friendly housemates, who might be able to introduce me to Melbourne and help me get to know some people, just settle in really. So, looking for friends to live in a home with, not simply looking to occupy a spare room. Hope to hear from you, (and meet you!) soon.
Hey there, I have lived in sharehouses for 5 years. I respect peoples space and expect the same in return. I work in IT and work 9-5ish, some days I stay back late but I'm keen to catch up for a drink or dinner, movie nights or just chilling at home after work. I already have some major pieces of furniture so am interested in setting up a new sharehouse with 2-3 people.
Hi, I'm moving to Melbourne for a job and I'm looking for a nice clean place, and friendly people to live with. I'm clean, quiet and easygoing, enjoy watching movies and meeting new people. Feel free to message me if you have something that suits!
Hey there, How’s going? This is Ariel. . Yes I said home because I’m looking for a place I can call home rather than just a place to crash. A place where there is someone that not only you feel comfortable enough to share the substantial amount of time/space with, but also hearty home-cooked meals and a glass of vino. Ok. A little intro about myself. I’m in my mid-30’s and professional working full time female. I am a non smoker, honest, CLEAN and tidy, considerate and caring person. I enjoy spending time with my housemates as well as respectful quiet time. It would be awesome if there is a chance that you could kindly arrange a time for house inspection so that we can have a chat in person too. Looking forward to hearing from you. Have a lovely day. :)
I have just recently moved to Melbourne from the UK and I'm currently staying in St. Kilda. My girlfriend will be following me in about one or two months (visa issues)! I will be working full time with my PhD research in an institute in South Yarra. I am a non-smoker, and am in my mid twenties. I am a sociable person who loves coffee, a good beer, and just generally having a good laugh. My girlfriend enjoys similar things to me, relaxing, swimming, having a drink and some fun! She is an engineering graduate and is looking for full time employment/PhD. We are looking for accommodation basically anywhere south of the yarra. I would be available to move in by the Friday the 30th of march but am flexible with this. Do you happen to know if it is still available for viewing?
Hi there, I moved permanently from NZ for work. I am looking for unfurnished room with own bathroom with a carpark. I am a clean and tidy person. Fun loving into healthy food and fitness but also love a great food and a nice Vino. Enjoy being social and having a good time. With that said I'm happy to chill out and have a good Netflix sesh. also love to have a good laugh so you'll probably catch me laughing at myself a lot. I'm Friendly, clean, easy to live with, happy, energetic, polite and respectful.
I just moved to Melbourne from Los Angeles, California to pursue a fitness career out here - yes, I'm American. :) I'm a personal trainer so I do live a very healthy and active lifestyle. I am very social and outgoing but do enjoy spending alone time as well. I'm 26 years old, not a drinker or a smoker and don't like to really engage in partying or clubbing often. I can ensure you that you will be renting to a very motivated and driven individual, someone who is highly responsible and trustworthy, someone who will clean up after themselves and keep the place nice and clean, someone who will respect your household and your belongings. Best of luck in your search. x -Kambry
Easy going guy..I work full time as a stock broker in the city so i'm not home normally. I usually eat out and like to live in a clean environment! I'm all about my health and fitness, go to the gym regularly and enjoy a solid Netflix binge for some RNR. Looking to live with some like minded people so lets connect! Looking forward to it!
I’m a dancer/performer who’s returning to Melbourne after working on a cruise ship for 5months and looking to get back into Melbourne industry! Will be training, working and auditioning full time but when I am home I like to be socIal but also respect eachothers space! I’m very much house trained, I’ve lived in a flatshare environment for 3+ years. Clean, considerate and respectful of the environment and the inhabitants!

Just got offered to be coach in residence for incubator program. I am also setting up my business here. I am clean and considerate. I respect other people's space. Full time youth worker, stable and down to earth, with a bit of a sarcastic side. Enjoys wine and Netflix on weeknights; more wine and gigs / films / day trips / brunches / the occasional dance on weekends. Looking for likeminded housemates who love a good chat and communal meal, but also respect personal space. INFP. LGBTQI+ friendly is a must. Bond and rent are ready to go, I can move any time between now and April 13th.
I'm a relaxed guy to live with, at least so I'm told... work a lot, occasionally from home. Social kind of guy, so wouldn't mind a house where a bottle of wine and netflix on Friday night are occasionally a thing! Interested mostly in teaming up and finding a place. Can furnish a little or a lot, outdoor smoker, no pets, 1 car which I need as I work in the burbs (not a p.t friendly location).
Hi ! I am a French chemistry student coming for 5 months in Melbourne to intern at CSIRO. In France I am living in a shared flat so I am used to live with other people and I enjoy it ! I am respectfull of the shared parts and my roomate's privacy. I am curious, open-minded, love listening to music (don't worry I am well equiped in headphones !). I'd love to meet new people that could show me around and discover the Australian way of life
My name's Carolyn 🙂 I’m a 27 year old, full time student. I study Speech Pathology in the city. I've recently moved out of a full time care position. I’m looking for something soon, long-term, and a safe place that feels like home. I've had previous sharing experience, so I come house trained. I’m neat, friendly and easy-going... And an open communicator. I enjoy BBQs, going to gig’s, shared TV watching, reading, tennis, films, playing and listening to music. I love nature and the outdoors... Music is very much a love of mine, I have a few instruments and play them, but I'm considerate with timing and noise (have headphones!) I'm very much into respecting others, their space and peaceful living. I like to be involved and contributing to a community feel of a place, but also really enjoy my alone time some days. I have a cat called Froot who'd be coming with me. He’s fully house trained and mostly an indoor guy because he’s scared of birds. We go for outside walks 🍃🐈 🐾on his lead... He also turns into a good alarm clock if you ever feed him. I'm a relatively busy person that likes focusing on my studies. I volunteer at the Children First Foundation, and have a boyfriend who's place I stay at sometimes. I'm financially reliable and pay my bills on time... I receive government funding while I'm studying that covers rent. As well as currently looking for a new job on top of this. I'm not looking for a party house. I don't smoke or do drugs. I like a scotch every so often with a movie. I'm LGBT+ friendly. Easy to get along with. I like being environmentally conscious, but don't push my views on others. NRSA approved. Have a valid police check... ? I'm looking for places with aircon, dishwashers, etc... Something easy to clean. With a small garden if available. I come with: - My bedroom furnishings. - L shaped couch. - Small coffee table. - A rug. - a coffee machine. - A desk. - A bookcase. - An outdoor table (could be used as a dining table). - Small outdoor bar fridge. - Sound system. - TV. - TV unit. - Playstation 2 & 3. - Heaps of 64 games. - An extensive DVD collections. - Kitchenware. - Plants :) (these can be kept in storage if space doesn't permit). Anything else you'd like to know please feel free to ask! So yeah, send me a PM and we'll grab a coffee or something It would be great to hear from you! Thanks, Carolyn.
