Hello, me and my partner have recently moved to Melbourne. We're easy going, tidy and respectful people. We enjoy meeting people but also do our own stuff. We love food - eating out and cooking and are interested in nutrition and health. Both like to swim and do yoga sometimes :)
We are two girls from Sweden in our early 20s who just moved to Melbourne with Working holiday visas. Both of us recently quitted our fulltime jobs at home and are now looking for new jobs here and ofcourse for a place to live. We are both easy going girls who definitely don't mind a few beers with friends or a night at the bar. But we also value relaxing nights at home and taking it chill. We're basicly just looking for a place where we can feel at home, with similar minded people who are fun and easy going! We're primarily looking for two bedrooms. Cheers, Evelina and Emma :)
Hi Guys, I am looking for a place for long term in Melbourne. Prefer to be close to Fitzroy street or Chapel. I am easy going person. I love good food, wine, coffee and art. I am active, like outdoor sports and go to gym. I also love people but am busy so wont be around as much. I am working, building my businesses, go to school, do some “art” myself and exploring galleries and anything weird and funky what is on :) I am from Slovakia. I live in Australia 6 years. I am looking for place from 10th of January 2019. I am planning to stay in Melbourne for couple of years.. I am currently in Sydney so we could potentially FaceTime to meet each other and to see the room. I lived in Melbourne before. PS: I enjoy sharing a bottle of wine ( or two) but I am not a “party” person :) Sabina
Hey Im Oliver, 26, I just graduated architecture bachelor and will work over the next year. Quite active in sports, play piano, and enjoy to cook, having a chat or do something easy after a day at work. Easy going and tidy :) Intend to move in by Dec 21 but flexible
Hi, we're Till and Lea-Sophie, backpackers from Germany, and looking for a cozy place to live during our stay in Melbourne :) We arrived in Australia only last week and are both already looking for jobs. I (Till) have been traveling New Zealand before and consider myself somewhat experienced with flatsharing. Our previous living situation in Germany was a shared flat as well. We're easygoing, generally quiet, clean, like cooking, and are always open for new adventures.
Hey! Me and Zibi are polish digital nomads - I am running my design studio Narny.World and Zibi is a programmer. We have just finished our first part of journey and now we are settling down in Melbourne for few years to get some valuable lifetime experience. We are hard working, sociable, responsible and trustworthy. We are also good listeners, keen to make new friendships and learn new things living together with other people. If you would like to create new flat family to feel like home- we are in!
I am 24 year old local Melburnian looking to move out into a inner city suburb. I work full time as a Project Manager so my weekdays can be pretty crazy. I love to socialise with my friends with a drink over the weekend. I’m very easy going and easy to live with.
Hey, i'm Kate. I'm moving to Melbourne for work on December 1st. I'm looking for something longer term but am also open to short term stays while I find something permanent. I work full time office hours in the disability sector and am transferring within my organisation, so I have established and reliable income! I've shared places a bunch so i'm well trained in sharehouse living and not being a rubbish housemate. I tidy up after myself, buy household items and contribute to cleaning. It would be great to find a social house to occasionally have a wine or share a meal or something , but I also respect privacy and the need for alone time. In my spare time I like going for breakfast, shopping for houseplants or doing something active like cycling or rock climbing. Also not opposed to netflix or a night out, but not looking for a party house. I'm flexible with the move date and location, so if you think I would be a good fit in your house then shoot me a message!
Friendly, clean and quite, I like having my own space, but want to get to know the people I live with (no ghost residence, please). I want to be part of a house with friendly people that enjoy chilled nights as much as I do. I'm from Brisbane and moved to Melbourne in 2018 to study fine art at RMIT. I work as a casual bookseller and am out of the house most days during semester. On days when I'm not, you will find me with a book in one hand and tea in the other. I eat a vegetarian diet but have been living with meat eaters for years, so I'm chilled about cooking in a communal kitchen. While not a party animal, I enjoy having a drink and meeting new people.
Hi 🙋🏻♀️ I’m Taylor, 23, from the Gold Coast! I am wanting to spend 6 months in Melbourne before I venture off to europe in July 2019. I am respectful of others spaces and enjoy maintaining a tidy house! I am always up for a laugh, super chilled and love a glass of wine after work. If I sound like the gal for you and your housemates, message me 🕺🏼
Interested in either a room available in a sharehouse or starting a new sharehouse with others on flatmates Work full time in city (Moday - Friday). Have lived in a sharehouse environment for over 2 years and really love it, made some awesome friends out of it. Really enjoy living in a house with 3-4 people and the social aspect of it and the community feel rather than living in a one bedroom flat. I believe I am: • Easy going and friendly • Clean and tidy • Considerate and polite • Timely with bills and jobs • Love being social but also not overboard Some of interest include: • Getting to live music and local gigs • Love playing the guitar (usually not plugged in so don’t worry about the noise) • Love a beer on the weekend • Pretty interested in world events and love a good vice doco • Running, going for a bike ride and footy A plus to all this is as I have lived out of home for while I have basically everything that is needed to a furnish a house including • Washing machine • Clothes dryer • Fridge • Coffee table • Dining table and three chairs • Tv and TV cabinet • Few bookcases for pots and pans/storage • many pots, pans, knife, chopping boards and basically every cooking utensil you could think of • iron and ironing board • toaster, sandwich press, kettle, blender • portable evaporative cooler As I have all this stuff I am either looking for a room that is up for grabs in a sharehouse (can easily store this stuff elsewhere if its not needed). Or alternatively quite open to starting a new sharehouse with 2-3 other people in any of the areas I have listed above and putting all this stuff to go use. Feel free to send any messages, questions or queries. Cheers :D
Moving down to Melbourne from Canberra for a full-time graduate job at Treasury at the end of January 2019. Will be down in mid-December briefly and early January to hopefully check a few places out! A furnished room would be a big plus but I'm happy to sort myself out too. I've lived in a couple of sharehouses in Canberra for uni so I'm pretty experienced in sharehouse dynamics and keeping respectful communication lines open. I'm someone who always cleans up after themselves, pays rent and bills on time, and tries my best to make our house a home! Hoping to find a house that's welcoming and has good vibes. I would love to be friends with my housemates and do all the fun Ikea trips/communal dinners/vino nights together! Also happy to respect people's privacy and independence. I'll be new to the city but expect that when I'm not tied up at work, I'll be enjoying time with friends at the local watering holes and getting amongst the arts and brunch scene. I'm originally from Perth so I'm also super keen to be near a coast again! Please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions about me!
I love to cook, clean, put on some music, enjoy a glass of wine and can entertain you with terrible puns! I have just moved back from London, and started working full time on Saint Kilda road. Somewhere within cycling distance would be ideal.
Hi guys! My name’s Carla and I’m a 22 year old Spanish chica 💃🏻 I just graduated in Modern Languages. I’m on a working holiday visa so I work full time. I’m tidy, hardworking, respectful and funny (at least I think I am). I love fashion, cycling, music and books. I'm always happy to hang out, have a chat over dinner and share the occasional glass of vino. I’m looking for a private room, preferably furnished and close to the city. Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat. 😊
Hi I’m Charbel. I’m an easy going guy who is career focused and also loves traveling, footy, hiking and getting out and about. I’m very chilled and a clean and tidy person who is considerate of others and always happy to help out where I can. I work as a Senior Development Manager in Property Development and am always keen for a few beverages and good chats. I’m currently in Burwood but looking to move to Richmond or close by to be closer to work and kick off my 30’s and the apparent ageing process.
I am generally easy to get along with but I do like a clean and tidy home, not in a crazy way though ;) I have been travelling and working insanely for work all around Europe and now hope to make a proper home in Melbourne. I like to do a lot of things.
Hey guys, I'm Annaliese. I work as a fashion model and run my own small business. I am very chill, friendly, tidy and easy to get a long with. I love the gym, the beach and going out on weekends. I'm a very good room mate :) Would love to hear from you! Annaliese x
Clean and tidy professional who can accept noisy or quiet places. Social but considerate. I have live with all genders, ages, sexual orientations, religions.. What's relevant to me is a bunch of people with a good hearts. 🙏😊
My partner and I are moving to Melbourne from New Zealand - for a change in scenery, and to earn some great Aussie dollars! We are friendly, neat, and tidy people - who love socialising, but know that home is a haven from the craziness of the world. We have had the luck of having a flat to ourselves here in Nelson NZ and will definitely miss the luxury of our own space - but are more than happy to share a living space with other happy go lucky people. I currently work in radio sales, and my partner is in the logging industry. So with the move to Australia we are looking forward to the challenge of something completely new! Ben is super into NFL and does a bit of gaming, and I love books, music and exploring cafes and bars. We are both leaving family and friends behind in New Zealand and are looking forward to meeting and making new friends and discovering all that Melbourne has to offer. Ben has studied travel and tourism, and I have a BA in English and Art History. We have no pets, but are both extremely pet friendly (animals just love Ben!) and would be happy to have flat dinners and drinks every now and then!
I’m studying at RMIT City campus start of 2019 Looking for somewhere with bills included in rent price per week. I’m clean and tidy Not a party person but enjoys being social Healthy lifestyle - outdoors, gym etc I have a Spoodle she’s just 1 year old and she’s great - she has other living arrangements
Hi I'm a happy and positive guy looking for a new place to call home. I've been living out of home for the past 6 years. I work full time in my own business (online advertising agency). I work from an office in Port Melbourne as well as occasionally from home or wherever there is an internet connection. I'm neat and tidy and like to live in a clean home. During the week I'm mostly working and going to the gym. On the weekends I can be social, but not one to go out and party... just a few social drinks over dinner is best! I love to keep fit, listen to music and travel the world when ever I get the opportunity.
