I’m 22 and work full time as an Account Manager for Printing firm in Docklands. Looking to move closer into the city and my job. I’ve been living out of home for about 6 years now and always been very independent. Currently living in Cranbourne and commuting everyday by the trains. (hate hate hate it!) I’m a reliable and friendly housemate and trustworthy to have rent and bills paid on time! Respectful and courteous to other housemates and visitors. Always been a bit of a social butterfly and love going out with friends and the occasional beer after work but also like to watch a movie and chill out. I’m a rockstar shower singer and play the guitar when I get the chance. Would love the chance to come and meet with you. Xx
I'm a student at Melbourne Uni studying Masters of Physics, which takes up most of my time. I'm great with housework. My favourite things to do are settle down with a good book, mindlessly scroll the interwebs, and chatting with friends. I enjoy my music and you will hear me singing/playing the violin (but not in the middle of the night). I also speak mostly fluent Mandarin. I will respect your privacy. Best wishes :)
I'm 28, work at a technology company, and I just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane. I travel often for work which makes 'home' really important to me. Over the past few years I shared my previous 2 bed/2 bath apartment in Kelvin Grove, and before that, I lived in Germany with four others. I have lots of experience sharing and count many previous housemates as friends today. Good friends, food and wine are my imperatives, and for exercise I do yoga regularly.
I am just moving to Melbourne for a new job offer, and looking for a place as I start my new life in Melbourne! I run my own business and I am expanding to Melbourne. I am tidy and clean, and quite the minimalist (I don't like clutter). I work early mornings and evenings, with the middle of the day free where I like to cook, prepare for the week and plan sessions for my clients. I am quite active, and Will be in and out of the house during the day as I love going to different classes and studios and walking/running & brunches!! Hope to find a great place so soon!
Hi there, my name's Matthias, 25 y/o, international student from Berlin spending one semester at Melbourne University and taking classes in Communication and Political Science. I consider myself to be an easy going, considerate, relaxed housemate and have lived in flat shares for the last five years, so I know the do's and don'ts. I love traveling (that's part of the reason why I'm here), cooking, trying (veg.) foods from all over the world and will probably pick up some sport while I'm here. I like it quiet at times but hardly ever say no to a coffee or beer and a chat. I'm also into languages, so if any of my future housemates are keen on practicing French or Spanish - I'm in! I'll be in Melbourne until early December. Seeking to move in asap. So if you're interested, don't hesitate to contact me!
**Looking to share with females only** Responsible, easy going, social, active, clean, organised. In a nutshell! I am a really no fuss kind of person. I keep my space clean, I am extremely organised, I love to cook, I love to stay active, I love socialising, I love drinking wine, I love healthy banter with my housemate. I've been renting for years. I'm financially responsible and there would be no issues to that end. I'm single and not dating. Full-time employed. Prefer my own bathroom as I have a pretty serious hair regime on a Sunday lol. And I just generally prefer my own space and time to get ready of a morning.
Im an exchange student at Monash Clayton from Texas, but I go to school at Arizona State University. I like clothes, fashion, and I like to dj and produce. I'm always down to meet new people and have a good time. I keep my place clean and respect other's privacy.
I'm a civil engineer born and bred in WA but I've spent the last 9 months living and working in Shepparton. I’m heading back to Melbourne to work in head office on from Monday the 14th of August so I’m looking for somewhere permanent to call home. I'm 29 years old, been working as an engineer doing FIFO construction for 6 years and been living in share houses for 7 years (with guys/girls and dogs). I'm well accustomed to the usual housemate business (paying bills, keeping the place clean, keeping the noise down etc). My job has long hours so no risk of me waking the house up at 2am on a Wednesday morning. That said, do enjoy a beer and a chat after a day’s work but more than happy to give people their own space if that’s their thing. Music is my big time/money sink. Love going to shows/festivals and watching bands play live (usual poison is rock/metal). Other than that, like gaming and surfing (useless in the water, but love it), chilling with people, going to dinner, all the usual good stuff. I’ve chasing a place that is already kitted out (only moved over with 2 suitcases), but I can kit out a room as required. If that all sounds promising, send me a message and we can go from there cheers
Hi, My name is Michael, 29 year old quiet and clean housemate. Work in Procurement. I normally like to relax during the week and go out and be social on the weekends. I have lots of furniture already i just need a housemate to join me in finding a flat share in a modern apartment. Like to stay active play soccer and love to go and have a beer at the local Pub sometimes.
Hey future housemate, it's me, Nicolas. I am 23 years old and I study Chemical Engineering in Germany but now I am finally here - in lovely Melbourne - ready for my exchange semester at Unimelb and my internship afterwards. I grew up in Colombia but my parents are German-Colombians, so culturally speaking I am sort of a mix of both countries. I have lived for 5 years in Germany in a shared flat, so I know how it works and I know what it means respecting others personal space and sharing the house duties. As to me, I am absolutely into having great conversations and doing some sport (and of course dancing Latin American Music ;) )or just hang out a little bit and chill. And if you would like to practice your Spanish or German, let's go.
Hi I'm Jess! I work full-time in a software solution company that is relocating me from Manhattan to Melbourne in mid-August for at least a year. I'm super excited for this move, and have visited Melbourne 3 times already! I've lived with flatmates since graduating college "uni," both girls and guys, and am pretty easy going. I love exploring new places, going out for drinks, sarcasm, and not taking myself too seriously, so writing this 'about me' is a little challenging. If you think people who only post selfies are ridiculous, enjoy a good meme, and like self-deprecating humor, we'll probably get along. Work usually keeps me busy during the week, but happy to chill with flatmates or solo after. Move in date is flexible once I arrive 14th August, but hoping to find a place sooner than later! P.S. I'm American, so obviously this is a flowery, unnecessarily wordy post, with too many "I" statements :)
Looking for a new place to stay during my exchange, starting around mid-august! About me: Small town French Canadian early retired sexologist 28-year-old gay law student based in Montreal. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counselor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up, Brenda!
My name is Ruvé Burns, I'm an 18 year old student from Queensland studying a diploma of Hospitality and Management. Not currently employed but looking for work as a barista when I find a place to live. I'm habitually tidy and neat, I like to read in my room sometimes, I like to socialise other times, I love music and animals even though I don't have any of my own. I drink a lot of tea so the kettle may be boiling all the time...but the most annoying thing about me? I sing in the shower. Let's live together.
Hello, I am a very clean, tidy, respectful housemate. Very keen to make new friends and socialise but also like my down time, netflix and snacks! I enjoy exploring Melbourne (from NZ) and going out for brunch/dinner often! Not looking for a party house, somewhere to call home with likeminded and similar aged people <3
I'm relocating to Melbourne from Adelaide early August to look for better job. I'm a professional high school physics teacher and work should be easy. I'm a very tidy and clean person. mostly sociable but prefer to have my own space from time to time. I can cook good middle eastern food since I;m originally Egyptian. I might end up doing PhD in Education since I'm eligible for a scholarship. Please contact if you think I'm the right person to share accommodation with. Cheers Adam
My name's Pat, I'm 26, I'm really easy going and laid back, always up for a good laugh and a cold beverage. i like to cook so always happy for a dinner with housemates. Most nights after work i will either crash in my room from over working or kick back and binge watch some TV. I work for full time for a law firm in port Melbourne. I've lived out of home for 2 1/2 years so I know how to be respectful, not invade other people's privacy, clean up after myself and pay bills on time. Looking for a place asap.... Feel to call or text me any time Cheers!
What up fine folks of Melbourne! My name's Sal, and i'm teaming up with my buddy Nathan to look for a 2-bedroom sort of long-term lease situation. I'm studying to finish a Master's degree at RMIT, and my weeks otherwise have me busy with part-time work as a Copywriter. Nathan is a fella who's likewise busy with work and his enterprise – so that pretty much makes the two of us busy urban types who are looking for a place we can look after, and call a home. If you're a home owner looking to fill a lease for a minimum of a year, or a current tenant with vacancy to fill 2 private rooms, we'd love to get in touch, get to know yas a little better, and arrange for an immediate viewing. Thanks for giving this a read – hope to hear from you soon!
Hi future roomie/roomies! I am looking for a pet friendly place for myself and my cat Poppy. I work full time in property management so I am very well house trained and will always pay my rent on time and in full. I love socialising and getting to know the people/person I live with, whether its relaxing at home, or going out for coffee or a wine. I also appreciate spending time alone and giving everyone space when needed. If you’re looking for a new housemate and it sounds like we’ll get along, hit me up! 😊
Hey, you can call me Toni, it is easier :), I am an international student at the Swinburne University and I am looking for people to team up for a shared accomondation. It is my first time in Australia and I am excited for the stay :) i like jogging and going to the gym. I also like horror movies and reading thriller :) I will arrive in Melbourne at the 20th July and stay until the 30th November. It would be great if we could find something in the near of the Swinburne University, everything in the near of Hawthorn would be great :) So I hope I hear from you, folks :))
I would a great person to live with as I'm clean, organised and love being social! I enjoy going out but also chilling at home and respecting others' space. I am looking to find a place with a couple of people. I work full time in real estate but will be doing a masters next year in the city so will be working part-time.
Hi there! My name is Lara, I'm moving to Melbourne from London late July and looking for a place to live. My Australian friend in London tells me Fitzroy and South Yarra are great places to be but am open to other area's as am a little in the dark having never actually been to Melbourne...! I'm 27, have been working in a start up business for the last 4 years but binning the corporate world for the time being and coming to Aus for a life and career change, to try something new and meet new people. I'm a really easygoing housemate, love to socialise but also very respectful of other peoples space and privacy. Would love to live with friendly people who are not just looking for a housemate but also someone they can chill with after work and have a G&T together. Looking forward to my Australian adventure and let me know if you think I could be a good fit in your home! :)
