Hi there! I'm a postdoctoral researcher and have just recently relocated to Melbourne for work. I am friendly, easy going, clean, tidy and responsible with rent and bills always paid on time. Always up for a chat and often for dinner and/or a drink (or two) but I also respect people's own space as I enjoy my own down time. Looking for a respectful, clean, non-party household. My interests include socialising with my friends (and housemates), sports (running, boxing), the occasional night out and travel when I get the opportunity. (Since I'm dependent on public transport to reach my job at Monash University and don't want to commute for too long, I'm searching for a room/apartment either within 15 minutes walking distance of South Yarra and Richmond train stations or close to Monash University (Clayton)).
I'm 19 yrs old and working part-time in hospitality and I'm doing BA Biomed @ Monash Clayton at the moment. I go to gym in my spare time so I'd be happy if anyone wants to hit the gym with me. I'm a quiet, trustworthy, tidy and very respectful of other peoples' privacy and i expect the same from the people who i share the house with. I spend most of my time studying and doing my business related stuff; so I'm quite a busy guy. I'm a bit in a hurry to move out from my current apartment, so please let me know if you're interested to team up with me or share a house!
Looking forward to occupy a room which needs a responsible tenant 😀 A 23yo software developer working for an IT company in the city (mon-fri). Technically I bash my fingers on my keyboard to earn my bread. In short you'll end up knocking my door if your computer/electronics face any issues 😛 Pretty easy to get along with (you'll notice it too :) ) Love hanging out around the city on weekends. Not a chef, but I keep testing my skills in cooking every now and then and would appreciate if you could help me name my recipes. Occasionally a Netflix geek 😅
Hello ! I am Duygu from Turkey. I arrived Melbourne 4 months ago with working holiday visa and I loved here :) I made bachelor in psychology and decided to take a gap year to travel and also get experience in the field. I both do internship at Deakin and work casually. Argentine tango is my passion and I am going to tango nights every week . I love hiking , reading , sharing and caring :) I used to work as babysitter in my first weeks here and I tried a bit hospitality ( I hate iiittt :) Turning to 24 next week and that would be great to throw a birthday party with new flatmates :))) Cheersss
Hey! I’m Nicole, 23, moved to Melborne from Perth at the start of the year. Looking for somewhere chilled during the week but social on the weekends. I work full time as a personal assistant in the city, so generally my 9-5 turns into a much longer day than I would like, which means I tend to be quite low key during the week. I’ve lived out of Home for quite a while so I understand how to be respectful of others id be sharing a house with. Ideally looking to move into somewhere that’s going to be my new home :)
I'm a professional in my 20s and have just relocated to Melbourne. Looking for: - Either a Private room with private bathroom OR Ensuite room OR Studio/1 bedroom apt/granny flat - ALL Bills Included - Furnished - Near public transport with easy access to the City/ Amenities or Near Enough (Preferably within 20 mins or so) - A month to month or 3 month lease to begin with, would be nice - just to figure out how the place fits my schedule moving forth, as I am relocating here from the Gold Coast =) I am social but also like to have my own space at times when I'm working on my projects. An occasional glass of wine or desserts over movies and checking out new places is what my mates and I usually do. I'm always up for Roadtrips/Long Drives, Exploring & Brekky for Dinner or anytime of the day! :D As I am relocating, I am more than open for suggestions on places to check out in Melbourne- and you're also welcome to join in on the fun if you're keen on such things!
Mature age F student, 50s, english, speak a little french/portugese, studying arts/languages/primary teaching, working, reliable, with refs, vegetarian, active, enjoys healthy lifestyle, loves animals & nature,a bit of cooking/baking, gardening, sketching, cuppas, log fires, good books, foreign films and homely homes with people with similar interests. Looking for a home not just a room. I don't want to live in a household ruled by tv, commercial radio and newspapers, so count me out if that's you. I'm a bit of a greenie, who respects the environment and recycles, doesn't use chemicals, likes natural smells like fresh air and fresh flowers. I treat the home as a sacred place that is welcoming and great to come home to, a place where we feel welcome and comfortable to be ourselves with the highs and lows life deals out to us. Enjoy catching up with friends and family, exploring markets, like theatre, galleries. I hope to find the right match of person/s to share with.I shall be looking long term as I'll be at uni for at least the next four years. I have a gorgeous little 8yr old Shi-Tzu & black cat Inky who are very well cared for, good mannered and adorable. I'm out with dog exploring parks as often as possible mostly all weekend. They live inside and mainly sleep the rest of the time. Would be great if you also had a little dog and cat as mines mates have sadly just passed away and we are missing them terribly. Peaceful stable, safe, mature household required. I like lots of cuppas while I am working & will make them for you too, and checking in with the people I live with, making sure everyone's ok, sharing a cuppa or a feast, or a trip to the markets, and the chores of course, not ocd about housework, but tidy and willing to muck in to keep household running smoothly. Work from home part time so require that bit of office space. Not decided on location, inner suburbs, quiet leafy streets, or outer suburbs with lots of greenery.Open to suggestions if right household/share situ. Also flexible with moving, just have to give 28 days notice on my current tenancy.I'm trying to edit my locations to a broader area but I can't seem to update it for some reason, so include me in your area please!
Sociable, clean, diligent, independent, respectful of each other's space, international, originally from Italy, lived in Belgium, UK, Denmark, US, travelled to several places, moving to Australia for good to work as an academics.
Hey potenial roomies! I'm Andrew, 34 year old professional working in IT. I'm clean, friendly, easy to get along with and love a good netflix binge session! I'm pretty chilled out and easy to get along with. I enjoy sharing an occassional drink together or meal together with housemates, but respect others need for space too. I typically head out with mates rather than having mates around. I love games so I'm always up for an XBox sesh! I'm clean, chill, respectful, have lived in sharehouses for over 10 years so I know the unwritten rules of cohabitation, and am generally an easy guy to get along with
I am a full time university student doing a masters of biotechnology in both the city and Bundoora so looking to squeeze in to that 86 tram line neighborhood (close to train and tram?) but not so far out I have to turf my friends and start anew. I am a very easy going person. Not the sort to get in a huff about menial things, respect others right privacy but I also have a mean streak for board games and socializing when the time calls for it. You'd be hard pressed to find someone as hard to rile up as me! Id love to live with some well traveled internationals but outgoing people are cool. Like all the cliches, movies, playing sport and having a nibble on a parma every now and then. I am ready to move in any time basically although an inspection would be sweet. At the end of the day I am probably going to be studying pretty hard, not much of a party animal but always keen to pretend like i am reluctant and come along anyway. Looking at being in-between Bundoora and the RMIT city campus. Closer to the city is preferable as long as there is easily accessible transport to Bundoora. Ideal move in date approx 1st of august.
Hi; my name is Seamus I'm 28 years old. I'm currently looking for a room to rent for circa 6 months with my partner Demi. I am a quality Analyst originally from England. My partner Demi, 26 is a veterinary nurse originally from Scotland. We are on working holiday visas and are hoping to stay in Melbourne to work for a minimum of six months potentially longer job dependent. We are a pretty laid back couple who enjoy a drink occasionally but we're defiantly not party animals! We are clean and respectable housemates.
I am a french girl looking for a flat share to live with nice flatmates. I enjoy spending with friends, go out, and i also like animals and cooking. I am here for one year to study and discover Melbourne's vibes 🙂
I moved to Melbourne a few months ago after graduating from UniSa (adelaide) and found myself a job here. At the moment i am currently at an air bnb flat in the cbd, but i will need to move soon! Looking to live in a chill share house somewhere not tooo far from the city, with housemates who are social! Since i work full time i wont be around the house much during the day time but when i am at home I like to socialize with my housemates, share a meal or a drink and maintain a family type vibe! I am very respectful of peoples privacy, clean and willing to do my share of house work, love traveling, movies & music (Techno mostly)!
Hi! Gokhan here. I'm, a 29-year-old Data Scientist who wants to spend the rest of his time in lovely Melbourne after having 2 and a half years in Sydney. I am currently up-skilling myself in the field of Artificial Intelligence, so most of my time is dedicated to my computer and codes; it might sound a bit nerdy, not that scary though, trust me! I am a physically active, non-smoker individual; I regularly go to gym (Anytime Fitness), cook my own food, eat healthily and rarely have a glass of wine or two. I don't expect much from my prospective flatmates. We are all grown-ups, so I know everybody knows how to treat each other, and just because we are humans, we are likely to have conflicts every now and then. Still, I believe people can solve any problem as long as they are able to communicate. It is sad that I am not available for face to face inspection as I am currently overseas and I will be till the end of August; however we can arrange a Face Time call or something else.
My name is Fede, I'm from Argentina. I've come to Australia to study for a year. I'm very clean and I'm organized (not obsessed with it, just in a normal way haha). I'm easy going and I'm looking forward making new friends. I love music and films. My idea in Australia, besides the study, is to get to know as many places and people as posible. I like sports, although I don't practice them a lot, but I'd love to! It would be great if I could do it an habit. I don't smoke, but I have no problem with the people who does. I know the very basics of cooking, I' d really like to learn a bit more, very curious about oriental food!!

Hi there! I am moving to Melbourne next week. I am a full time PhD student, plus I work 2 days per week as a Sports Dietitian, which essentially means working 6-7 days per week. I’m quiet and respectful and really don’t want to live in a party house but do enjoy the occasional dinner party/board games with wine/gin with house mates. I have an adorable, cuddly kitty - who turned my current house mate from a non cat lover, to a cat lover. I hope to find kind and respectful house mates who don’t mind having their own lives but also enjoy flatmates company.
Hey man, How’s it going? I am Sarang from Mumbai, India. I am joining La Trobe, Collins Street for my M.B.A this July. I am 28 and an entrepreneur with a managerial work experience of over 7 years. I am looking for an accommodation for myself and I quite like your place. I go out for drinks often, I like to socialize, loves music. I work out to keep fit and play football (big time Manchester United Fan).
Hi! I'm Callum, a 26 y/o male and have just arrived in Melbourne from London. Boring bits: I work as an IT/Business professional and have just transferred to my company's Melbourne office in the CBD. Looking for a full time rent with like-minded professionals in a great location. About me: Super easy-going but very well house trained (clean and tidy)! Looking for a fun place to live but not a constant party house. Love food and beer (bit of a craft beer loser...) so at weekends expect to find me exploring the city looking for things to eat and drink! Also a big sports fan so need somebody to teach me about AFL... keen to head to a game at MCG asap! I reckon I'll be pretty busy in the week with work but when I am in I'm really sociable and always up for a drink in the local pub/bar. I hope to make my own friends in Melbourne but also looking to move into a friendly house that isn't full of strangers. Drop me a line if you think I'd be a good fit for your house! Cal
Hi! I’m 21 and I study community services online full time. Although currently in-between jobs I have a fortnightly income. I’m outgoing but also enjoy my alone time, respectful of other people’s privacy, tidy and easy to live with. Enjoy going out but also some down time too, I would be ideally looking for a non share room and available to move in within the next few weeks.
Hello! My name is Lois, I am 21 years old, studying a Bachelor of Laws full-time and working part time. I'm very lighthearted and easy going, not much bothers me and I am always up for a laugh. I'm very respectful of my housemates and their privacy but also enjoy sharing a meal or drink. When I'm not working or studying I am pretty social and enjoy going out for a few wines with the gals or staying at home with housemates to binge watch Kardashians or Bachelor in Paradise. I also enjoy going on hikes and try to make it to the gym as much as possible. I am tidy, clean and good with housework. My rent is always on time, as are my bills. I have good rental history from previous house shares and rentals and am happy to provide these references for you. I'm a settled person and a bit of a homebody at heart so I am really looking for somewhere I can settle into and make home. I am more than happy to sign myself onto the lease and pay myself into the bond. Cheers, Lois!
