Greetings :) We are a young professional same-sex couple seeking a teamup for a roomy shared townhouse (or such) in Melbourne, Carlton/ Carlton North or inner East/ North Melbourne. We are both comfortable, clean, easy-going, and love good chats and a bit of fun every now and then but also really value some down-time and rest after a long day of work. We currently live in a cosy apartment in South Yarra, our lease is ending on the 15th of May and we wish to secure a place by early-mid April at the latest. What kind of home we are looking to share: Our main goals with our new home is to reduce the amount of rent we are paying currently and have a bigger home with a roomy backyard and living area. We are looking to team up with 2 other people (don't mind couples) for a 3 bedroom house/ townhouse. Our main requirements are a minimum of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (preferably ensuites), a backyard, for the location to be within 10-20km of Melbourne CBD, divided rent up to $600 pcm (exc bills). We have an adorable fluffy feline son named Wilbur who is about 6.5 years old, he is a very calm and well-natured cat. His only activities include intermittently switching from deep sleeping, intense eating and purry snuggling. He is incredibly comfortable and loving with new people, clean, and very self-sufficient. He does occasionally want to play and have a bit of a run around but his most loved activity is curling up to sleep. A little bit about us: We both have full-time 9-5 jobs during the week and prefer quiet evenings during the week, occasionally having dinners with friends every now and then but that is the most we do on weeknights - reserving most of our going out/ socializing and such to weekends. We have a good small bunch of close friends who we love seeing as often as time and energy permits. We love a bit of a boogie once or twice a month whether it be in the form of a cosy little house party or a 5 day doof out in the bush. Despite this, we aren't huge party animals and strongly value a good work, rest, play balance. As housemates, we love cleanliness but also understand that with full-time work and a busy lifestyle sometimes a pristine, perfect home is not always achievable. This is absolutely okay with us but we would always ensure that a thorough clean-up is done at least once a week. We also love a friendly environment at home, having a chat over a smoke, tea or wine once in a while but some nights we just want to retreat into the couch or our bedroom and sleep or binge watch Netflix or documentaries. We also love plants, candles, incense, art, all kinds of music and prefer eating a predominantly cruelty-free, vegan diet. What we are looking for in housemates: - a reliable, honest and compassionate person - transparency and trust-worthiness - MUST be LGBTIQ+ friendly and aware - relatively clean and cat friendly - easy-going, open-minded, well read and responsible - someone who matches similarly to our profile, has a sound work, rest, play balance What we don't want in housemates: - excessive drinking, partying, etc - expectations to socialize all the time - cat allergies/ dislike If this sounds like you or we sound like people you would see yourself living with - hit us up with a little bit about yourself, include your favorite film or song and why you love it. Happy house hunting x
Hey there! My name's Maria, I come from Spain and I'm 28. I'm starting a PhD at the Doherty Institute here in Melbourne and I'm looking for a warm place to live. I'll be working full-time during weekdays and I'll probably have to work at home, but I enjoy chatting while drinking some wine or beer in my free time, watching netflix, reading... I enjoy some time alone as well, but I'm overall a social, joyful and positive person who likes spending time with her mates. I'm a quite active person, I love doing sport and attending to dance classes and I like having a healthy lifestyle. I'm also very tidy and respectful. Just message me if I sound like someone you'd like as a mate and hopefully friend and confident!:))

I work full time in IT and recently moved to Melbourne from Perth. I'm easygoing, very quite, respectful, clean, sociable and well versed in share house living. I can offer several references from past housemates I previously lived with in Perth. I have a car so I am looking for some kind of parking.
So long as my flatmates are respectful, do their fair share chores I am happy to live with anyone. I like getting out of the city, walks/hikes, scuba diving, camping, adventures etc. I am definitely have a work-to-live mentality and I treasure my weekends. I also like going out for the odd drink/night out dancing with the girls. My wishlist for a house includes genuine roommates, an indoor toilet (I know this from experience), and a gas stove top (ideal but not necessary). Other than that I'm pretty relaxed.
Recently moved to Melbourne from Hong Kong. Looking forward to meeting awesome new people here in Melbourne as I did during my time in London, Abu Dhabi, and Hong Kong. Hey, I'm from wales in the U.K. I work full time for a caulking company (construction). I play soccer 3 times week and go to the gym when I can be bothered. Always up for doing things whether it's nights out, going for food and coffee or even just having chilled days watching tv. I would like to think I'm pretty chilled, clean, tidy and easy to get on with.
I'm organised, quite, tidy, independent, outgoing, positive with a great sense of humor. 28 year old Australian/Greek full time working professional, I enjoy documentaries, reading, beach going, bike riding, eating delicious healthy food and keeping good company. Happy to pay out the duration of my agreed stay in advanced as agreed. Seeking a room with water views (beach, river, canal or lake) from my bedroom's window.
I want to live with nice people with whom to share experiences in a healthy and entertaining way, also to reinforce even more my English and generate circle of friends. I really like music, even the idea of coming to australia to live is to find an opportunity in music. I am a very nice guy, calm, sociable, humble, someone with whom you can talk quietly and not only to socialize, I am also someone in which if you prefer, you can trust. In Chile I was a medical technologist for 7 years, but that was never my thing. So, I have left my comfort zone to fight for my dreams, but at the same time enjoy another culture in its fullness.
Hello, I'm a French girl willing to discover Melbourne and Australia. I'm on a travelling year with another friend. I'm easy going and like clean places. I would say that I'm a social introvert. I do love eating and going out (always up for a drink) but I like having time for myself and do nothing but watching movies, series or listening to music.
I am from New York City completing a study abroad in Melbourne for the semester. In the United States, I attend college in New Orleans, Louisiana. Recently I finished a study abroad in Brussels, Belgium. I love traveling and am studying international business. I am pretty active during the day and love trying new workouts. At home, I enjoy cooking and relaxing with a glass of wine. I love going out to eat for brunch and dinner.
I'm a single, non-smoking health professional, moving back to Melbourne in late April to start a full time M-F job at St Vincent's Hospital. My job involves working with people, so I prefer somewhere quiet and relaxed to come home to during the week. I’m a bit more social on weekends, but am not a party animal by any stretch. I'm hoping to live with 1-2 other single people (not couples) with a similar mentality. I like to be fairly independent, but also like to live with somebody I can have a chat with and occasionally share a meal with. I'm looking for a furnished or unfurnished room close to St Vincent's Hospital, with a parking space/permit. I'm neat and tidy, and respectful of others and their space/possessions. I always pay rent/bills on time, and am not tight with money!
I have been sharing a townhouse with 11 other people from mixed nationalities. I'm easy to get along with, clean, organised, considerate and good fun to live with. I'm quite social and friendly but I also enjoy my own space. My hobbies include listening to music, motorsports, reading about cars, tech, and into exploring new places and enjoying little things in life. I recently just finished my masters in business administration and working full time in my field. I am still settling in and looking for the right bunch of flatmates.
Hi! I'm coming from the Amsterdam to Melbourne for a research-internship in the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. I'm down to earth, easy going and I like to socialize. During the weekdays I will work full-time in the hospital but during the weekends I am a free man. I like to surf and go to the gym in my free time and look forward to meeting new people!
Hi, I'm 26 years old, and I'm from Brazil. I'll go to Australia to learn and practice English. I'll study in a English school and work at the same time. I like to live with another people to learn a little bit about the australian way of life, about the culture and everything. I'm very flexible and polite. Best regards, Olivia
