Hey everyone! I am looking for a furnished private room to rent for a long term stay. Or at the very least a bed and BIR (a desk would be awesome too lol). Preferably in Brunswick, Ascot Vale, St Kilda, South Yarra, Elwood or anywhere that’s less than an hour from Southbank via public transport. Also, internet is a must! I arrive in Melbourne on the 13th of September and hope to move in as soon as I arrive. My budget is $700pcm, but of course the lower the better. 😬 A little bit about myself: I am an international student from Singapore, mid-20s and I will be studying Filmmaking this coming September. I like to spend my free time watching movies, sports and exploring new places with my camera(be it cool hipster cafes or jungle trekking). I'm pretty chill and sociable, some say funny but that's up to you to decide 😉. I don’t consider myself as a party person but I do enjoy music festivals and a few drinks every now and then. I'm respectful and tidy therefore I pay bills on time and clean up after myself. I’m also LGBTQ friendly and I don’t mind pets at all. 😬🐒 Now, as I am still in Singapore, I am not able to do a viewing in person. But I'm totally down for a video call interview/viewing if you are open to that idea. 😃 Cheers, Jerry 🤙🏼 :)
I work full time in retail, and am making the move from Auckland to be closer to my family of who have relocated to Melbourne in the past year. I’m easy going & laid back. I am a super clean & tidy person. I love having a cheeky couple of glasses of Pinot noir over good music & company, at the same time I do enjoy my personal space as well as down time to myself. I’m not a all out party girl but I do love a big night blowout once every so often- don’t we all? I’m on the hunt for likeminded people to make my Melbourne experience amazing!
I'm looking to relocate to the city to be closer to work. I'm a massive introvert, I love staying home. I love a good chat and tea, so so much tea. I'm not into partying (I don't drink) but if you mean the pillow fort kinda party, I'm down for that.
I’m responsible, considerate and respectful. I will clean up after myself. I value communication and integrity. I’m warm and friendly - can be sociable - but will also respect your space (I’m an introvert). I’m fine with pets. Non-smoker, don’t drink, prefer cosy gatherings to big parties. I’m also a devout Christian and my greatest passion is Jesus. I’m moving from Singapore to Melbourne in 2019 to pursue a teaching qualification at Uni Melbourne. I studied Literature for my Bachelor’s. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, illustration and connecting with people over brunch/coffee.

I'm Jasper Caverly, a 21 year old male student at Swinburne studying Media & Communications. I'm a lover of music, film and literature; and an amateur writer and musician myself. I currently work at the Grace Darling in Collingwood, although dependent on commuting abilities, I may be looking for new employment (something I've never struggled with). I'm a quiet and somewhat private person, who isn't seeing anybody at the moment, so I'm more than happy to respect others' needs for the same. On the other side of things I do love a good chat over dinner or a glass (or two) of wine. Is there anything else you would like to know? I'm happy to share more with you !
Hi! I'm Célestine, French photographer who just arrived in Melbourne for 6 months, after a year and a half around Australia. Searching for a private room in a quiet, nice and clean flatshare/share house, where I can enjoy some company as much as my privacy. Cheers.

Heey! I'm a Swiss student who intends to share a flat (and experiences) during my 5 months in Melbourne, working on a project at Swinburne uni. I've spent the last 4 years living with roommates, I'm easy to live and pretty clean as a guy. See you soon :)
Hi, I'm Callum, I'm from Tasmania and I'm planning to move to Melbourne next year to transfer to VCA. I'm currently 19 (20 in March), living by myself in student accommodation studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I'm vegan, so I love to cook. I love music and go to a lot of gigs/play a few instruments myself. I also try to study Japanese/Swedish in my spare time.
Well... I’m italian and usually that means FUNNY :) I’m joking... but I could also cook sometimes ahaha I’m moving to Melbourne after 5 years in Brisbane to open my new business.... so I will be pretty busy but always keen for a good chat and a good glass of wine.
I'm 24 and I'm an Australian born Chinese raised in Brisbane, Queensland. I've relocated to Melbourne for work as an IT consultant so ideally I would love to live within close proximity to the city. A lot of my friends and colleagues describe me as quirky, a bit nerdy, and a bit weird (in a good way). I love binge watching netflix shows (like Rick and Morty, Brooklyn Nine Nine and some Anime), eating out, going to the arcade bars and playing some board games in my spare time. I'm a bit of a home body but also an outdoorsy person. I believe home should be my quiet and down-time sanctuary. But I also love going for cycles, hikes, checking out some quirky bars, eating out whilst stalking cute dogs at the cafes/dog parks. As for what I'm like as a housemate - I always clean up after myself and I'm really considerate of my roommates own space but always down to have dinner and chill out together. I'm really easy going, organised, reliable, down to earth and really respect people's own personal space. Would really love to find a place to stay long term. I have my own bedroom furniture, so not really requiring a furnished bedroom.
I’m from Brazil. I came to Melbourne to study and work. First I’m improving my english and them I’m going a post graduate. I am easy going, clean and focused on my studies.
I'm British, I'm 30 and I'm looking to live with some lovely like-minded people! I work within the music industry, primarily as a graphic designer / creative director for many different record labels and artists. I have a huge passion for music, that's a big part of what attracts me to Melbourne. I am definitely a people person and like to socialise but I equally like my downtime and to relax. I enjoy keeping fit, exercising regularly and going surfing and snowboarding (when I can!). I also love Photography. Feel free to ask me anything else... wasn't sure what else to put here!
I'm from NZ, moved to Melbourne 5 years ago. Working 4 days a week in the CBD. I like to keep shared areas clean and tidy. I've been flatting for over 10 years now so I have a lot of experience and have always gotten along with my flatmates. Most of my hobbies see me hanging out in my room, but I'm always happy to have a chat when possible and eat a meal/watch something together occasionally.
I am after accommodation for myself looking to move sometime this week. I just graduated from Uni Adelaide with a Masters Degree in International Business Management and I’m moving to Melbourne for work. I like to cook, workout and shop. I am an outstanding discount shopper. RRP doesn’t do it for me. I could never! A glass of wine, or three every now and then. I can be social however, I do like to keep to myself from time to time. I would rather that my housemates are clean and clean up after themselves. I cannot stand when people are oblivious to mess. I am open to locations other than those listed on my profile provided there’s a bus stop nearby and the location is no more than 25 minutes into Melbourne CBD. No pets please.
I work full time for a company in the architecure/software space. Office currently located in South Yarra but relocating to CBD Interests - sports (although I haven’t played anything in the last few years) reading, indulging in the odd binge of a dodgy Netflix series, exploring new places to eat great food with friends etc. I'm hoping to find a house and housemates that I can call home and family who enjoy having a semi regular beverage or 2 and a good chat over 'family' dinner. I would also love to keep my fur baby with me. Mr Sooty D is a 7yo Black Cocker Spaniel x King Charles Cavalier that I rescued about a year and a half ago. He’s pretty chill, loves spending his days snoozing on the couch!
Hi, I am an international student and I am working part-time. I have previously studied in a boarding school and I am extremely mature and respectful of people's boundaries. I am pretty easy-going, amiable and love animals.
