I'm Italian and I'm moving to Melbourne to study, to improve my English skills and - most of all - to live a great experience in a country which I’ve always dreamt. I studied foreign languages in Italy and I lived in shared houses for one year in Germany, so I can speak also German and a little French. I like to think about myself as a world citizen. I'm curious but respectful, I'm a life enthusiastic and a open – minded person, I like travelling, cooking, good wine and coffee, music, sharing stories and experiences and recently I’ve discovered a huge passion for surfing. I also love animals. I'm clean and tidy and well aware of other’s space. I get along with everyone but as I’m quite shy at the beginning I love friendly and talkative people. During my stay in Melbourne I will have lessons but I also wish to find a part time job.
We are a couple that we are together six years ago, we have been living together for three years and we are very happy, clean, orderly and friendly. We like music very much and we are very calm people, always in a good mood.
About me: Em, 29 years old, former U.S. Navy, soon to be Melbourne Uni grad student. I'm interested in the gym and sports, art, motorcycles, cooking, a good glass of wine. Chill, but respectful of personal space and privacy. I enjoy having a tidy space and, though I'm down to socialize, I like to relax and enjoy my privacy too. I'm cool with housetrained pets, though I won't have any of my own. Looking for a private bedroom starting in early July. No temp, short term or ridiculously crowded sharehouses please My musts: 1) LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Near Parkville campus for Melbourne Uni (I'm not driving or cycling... idk why people have suggested this silliness lol). I'd be happy with no more than a 20 minute walk/tram commute to campus. My budget is so high cause I know location is what one pays for; being in a walkable community is my aim. 2) Nice kitchen, laundry machine, living space. 3) Internet availability. 4) I'd prefer to share an accomdation only with a few quality people who are there for a bit. Hoping to make some cool friends.
I am pretty busy most of the time with study and working 4-5 days. I am clean and respectful, eat out mostly and enjoy sharing a meal or chat over drinks now and then. Career focused and down to earth.
I’m easy going and love meeting new people! I’m tidy and flexible as well. I’m 18, from the U.S, and planning to travel and work in Australia starting Nov. ‘18. I plan to work my butt off during the week and explore and have fun until my feet nearly fall off during weekends. I’m pretty chill and I’m always up for an adventure! Hit me up on SnapChat if you’d like! It’s “woelbes”
Originally from Wales in the UK and have spent the last 2.5 years living and working in Austria. Right now I'm waiting for my sponsored 4 year visa to clear, before starting work at the Melbourne office of my current company as a Project Engineer. I've travelled quite a lot and will be coming from shared accomodation (5 people), so I understand how important it is to be a clean and respectful housemate! I'm an outgoing person and like to stay active whether it be in the gym, playing sports or out on a hike, etc. I'm also keen on my music and would love to meet people to head to some gigs with; officially a pub-over-clubs kinda guy (being in my 30's!) and always keen to improve my cooking skills (obligatory glass of wine during preparation, of course!) Weeknights are admittedly quite low-key between work and keeping active, but it would be great to meet sociable housemates keen to enjoy the occasional meal together etc. If you've any questions, please feel free to ask!
Hi, I'm a software engineer from India. recently relocated to Australia. urgently looking for accomodation in Melbourne, preferably in docklands or nearby areas. clean, easygoing non-smoker with a healthy respect for personal space. mostly chilled out during weekends but won't say no to a social or outdoor event. no point living in one of the coolest cities if you don't go out & experience it, right ?
Hi I'm Mel, I am a young professional who has just recently moved to Melbourne. I am looking to team up with one or two other girls to set-up a new place, but I am also open to moving into an existing share house with some welcoming and friendly people. I am looking for my own room and preferably my own bathroom (but I can be flexible with sharing a bathroom if needed). I also need a place with car parking, it would be ideal to have a secure car park, but street parking is ok too. I generally try and keep a pretty happy balance between my work and social life. I work full time and in my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends (brunches, dinners, cheese platters & wine etc.). I love meeting new people and given I am new to Melbourne I'd love a housemate who is happy to hang out from time to time and explore Melbourne with me. I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to team up or if you have an existing room in your home where you think I'd be a good fit.
Laid back friendly girl from Finland who is a lot of fun. Vegan living and love animals. Like to go out and socialize and also have chilled nights. I’ve been traveling around australia and now I’m moving to Melbourne to work there the rest of my visa(until end of november). Looking for my own room in a sharehouse or flatshare with good people!
Hello Friends, I am a super chill and outgoing guy who is all about hard work and fun. Very organized and I stick to a solid routine which enables me to be consistent. I enjoy the beach, fishing, outdoors, and food. I really really love food. I am a huge sports fan and enjoy playing basketball and soccer. I work in the hotel industry and now work for a Hotel in Adelaide. I look forward to living in this smooth city.
I have lived in many places (Honolulu, Madison, Bali, Brisbane, etc), made hundreds of friends and specialize in international cooperation. Love cleanliness and I enjoy making my friends laugh and have various set of skills that are often useful for the people around me.
I am studying Digital Media at Deakin University. I also work as a waitress at Spice Temple. I love to cook but like to keep a clean living environment. I enjoy chatting over a glass of wine and going out for dinner. I am easy going and flexible but like to keep busy. I am hoping to move within the next few months.

TL;DR Arriving in Australia first week of August. Looking for a room and a garage or large shed for Windsurfing kit and on or off street parking. Less than 30 mins to East CBD. 25-35 year old flat mates. Full version: Third culture, house share trained guy moving from Europe to Melbourne for work. Native in English and French. University educated. Work in business development for a Defence company. Into windsurfing, cars, music, hitting the gym, good food etc. No drugs. Looking for a clean and tidy (essential) friendly household of full time workers (no students). Age range 25-35. Educated... Preference for living with tenants only - not living with landlords. No couples please. Working just east of CBD And would like to keep commute under 30 mins door to door. Prioritising properties which have a garage (shared or not) as I will need to store my windsurfing kit. On or off street parking essential. Home is to be a peaceful drama free sanctuary - not a party house. However I’m still into wining and dining; naturally...
Russian. Currently I am studying Energy Systems (Master) at Melbourne Uni (Parkville). I used to live in a student dorm during my undergrad, so I know what sharing house is. Normally most of my time I spend on studying, or just hang out with my friends, or riding my bicycle around Melbourne. And I really like cooking and baking stuff.
my name is David, I am a full-time student and ii work part time, right now I am studying a bachelor of 3D animation so I am looking for a long-term stay and also a nice place to focus in my studies. A little more about me, well I am very tidy, easy going person and quiet. I am a little shy but at the end, I get along with other people, I like to enjoy a nice glass of wine or a beer and a nice chat. Also, like movies (Netflix addict) and video games.
Hi, I am looking for a long-term rental. Currently, I live in Geelong but I work and study in Melbourne. I already lived in Norway and Croatia and Poland - where I come from. I am a guy that respects privacy and with whom you can talk about anything and cook together (especially Polish meals). Fancy some pierogi? 🙂 I love to travel, discover new places and do outdoor activities.
Architect + social worker Climbers, readers, hikers, feminists, motorbikes, vegos. Looking to move into an already established house if possible - 1 or two other peeps would be perfect. Apparently this reads like we are a couple, genuinely just a couple of gals whose leases have conveniently come up at the same time but whom aren't too keen on buying white goods. Also Queenslanders originally but neither of us read Murdoch papers anymore.
