Hello there! I am a 30 yo actress from Taiwan, and I also own a little Korean restaurant in the middle of Taipei city. I used to live in USA for school from age 16~22, so I have no problem communicating in English. I'm at the place in my life where I want to take a little break from my routine daily life, and experience living in another country again! I love my job in acting and also have a huge interest in hospitality. I'm also a foodie so that's why i opened a Korean restaurant with my friend back home. My future goal is to open another brunch and cafe place, so I'll be looking for jobs as barista or waitress on my working holiday in Melbourne in order to learn more in restaurant business. I am clean and tidy, love making new friends but also need my own space and time at home. Although i'm on my working holiday, i'm definitely not the party kind ;) I'm here to experience and learn about the culture. I prefer a healthy lifestyle, hitting gym, doing yoga, cooking occasionally in my spare time. I will arrive Melbourne on Sept. 13th, and will be staying at a abnb for a week, so I am looking for a private room close to the city with a budget under $250 to move in around Sept. 19th, hopefully with a like minded female roommate.
I'm a working holiday traveller, from China, no smoking, polite, will do some readings, play the harmonica in the free time; also like to make some different friends with different culture backgroud so that we can share many intersting stories, and help each other to know another culture;
I'm a friendly, quiet, calm person. I like to keep active and be creative in my spare time. I would like to live in a house where everyone is friendly with each other and can enjoy a meal or glass of wine on occasion.
Easy going, heavy sleeper, happy 🙂 Working professional. Looking to share a large house with other sociable people, not looking for a party house just friendly open minded souls. I love cooking, outdoor adventures, the odd gig/festival and a happy environment with an upbeat vibe, and plenty of space for some down time as well. Subject matter expert in communal harmony 😊 Also happy to join up with others on a similar budget to find the perfect abode. Ps NOT looking for a furnished room
27 yr old from the UK who has been living in Sydney for the last 2 years but moving to Melbourne for a new job. I'm sociable, respectful and I think pretty normal. I work in engineering/construction which takes up most of my week days but I love a night out on the weekend. Looking for a decent place but most importantly looking for decent people to live with.
I work full time in the CBD on weekdays and like get out and about on weekends. I'm fairly quiet, enjoy having a chat in the evening and am very respectful of other people. I like meeting new people, going to the gym, going out for dinner, curling up with a book and watching tv. It would be great to find a flatmate of similar age who doesn't mind hanging out in the lounge, watching TV or grabbing a drink sometimes.
Super quiet, non-smoker + v rare drinker. Need a place to crash as I'm often home late and up early. Couches in shared/1 bedroom separated aptmts welcome. Apart from occasional chuckle, likes to be quiet after 9pm. Music student -> applied sci or police work. Loves Vic market runs on weekends. Accepting to all gender/sexuality/race/religion. Will not share rooms. Open to teamups to find a place in the new year, hmu and let's share details.
I am a young professional, currently working full-time as a Senior Treasury Analyst. My housemate of three years will be vacating our apartment upon completion of her undergraduate degree. I am open to either sharing my current two-bedroom apartment with another housemate or teaming-up to get a different apartment. It would be a plus if the apartment has a gym, but not fussed if it doesn't. I am an affable person and would love to find a housemate(s) who is social and looking to develop a friendship. I am also a very neat and tidy person so it would be great if you value that as well. Hope to hear from you. - Ivan
Hi, I'm Bao, I work in the banking and finance industry and usually finish work around 5.30-6pm. I'm currently studying my Masters of applied finance while working full time. I like sports, love coffee and I'm a cycling enthusiast and keen runner. On weekends, I like to get out and about to socialise and fun, but I also I like to chill out at home with some good music and a drink or two
Hi, My name is Kirby, I'm an Analyst at an investment firm in the CBD. I'm in the process of transferring to New York for work ..future free accomodation ;) I'm looking for a place to stay; probably 3 months, possibly a few more BUT (please don't give up on me yet) I'm more than happy to help find someone suitable to replace me when the time comes. I'm also completing my MBA, so will be pretty chilled around the house / in my room studying a bit, or staying back at work since I'm becoming the procrastination queen at home. Weekends I'm always at the gym and out for brunch with my friends etc. I go to the gym before work everyday, but I'm extremely quiet and I'm out the door within 10 minutes of waking up. I'd be more than happy to pay bond, give a month notice when I move etc, although I don't really want to go on a lease given my situation. Thanks, Kirby
Hi, I am Elen. I just graduated from master degrees and i am going to find a job. I am looking for a single room. I am pretty neat, clean, respectful and easy going. Hope to share a house with easy going people, neat and clean. I always pay the rent on time, wouldn't mind to have drinks on weekend and I prefer to share the flat with people who I can call friends. ^^
I'm neat, tidy, considerate, incredibly easy to get along with, respectful, kind natured, mature and I love to talk but also make a great listener. I have a secure casual government job in Southbank with full time hours requiring me to be a people person so I'll be working a lot as well as socialising as much as possible. When I do have spare time, I’m usually out and about seeing my friends and if i’m home i’ll get buried in a tv series marathon, have a few friends over for some drinks, watch Netflix/movies and go out to the movies just to name a few. I'm extremely outgoing in general and love meeting new people, experiencing new things and living in the moment. MY ideal home/housemates would be somewhere I can have my own private space when i need some time out from people, my housemates are respectful of those that have an early start at work in the mornings and won't make too much noise and people who I can occasionally hang out with and watch movies/have a laugh with.
Hi! I'm a working holiday traveller from South Korea. I just got a full time job in the cbd so looking for a place close to work. I am clean and tidy, with enough experience in flat sharing. I am very easy going and sociable, love going out but won't bring the party into the house. In my spare time you'll most likely to find me binge-watching The Office, cooking or drooling at Sephora. Ideally looking for a place with easy going flatmates who speak fluent English and wouldn't mind sharing occasional drinks together.
I'm a friendly and laid back person with a good sense of humour. I like to keep to myself but also happy to socialise. I enjoy music, books, games, movies, comedy, adventures outdoors and relaxing. I'm finishing studies in horticulture and environmental conservation this year. I run my own Garden Maintenance business. I sing in a choir, am apart of the Melbourne University Fencing team and planning to go back to martial arts training in the near future. Feel free to ask me any questions :)
I am 35 year old working professional working in the film industry. A little about me. I’m a laid back, easy going person and respectful towards others. Also, I’m very organized, reliable and like to keep things clean. I like to socialize but not bringing the party back home. I live a very active & healthy lifestyle and have way too many hobbies - I do crossfit, climbing, running, Aikido, surfing, snowboarding, sailing, I bike to work and I am currently learning how to fly a helicopter, and yes, I also like to cook 🙂 Throughout the last 8 years, I've been living and working in many countries/ cities such as: San Francisco, LA, London, Paris, Florence, Dubai, Vancouver, Wellington NZ... I know what it takes to establish and keep a healthy atmosphere within a flat share arrangement, and I am always exited to meet new people from different countries, mentalities, religions and political views.
I'm easy going & down to earth, always keen for a chat but also respect each others privacy. Clean & tidy. Always pay my rent on time. Looking for a private room not far from CBD area. Parking needed/street parking is fine :) No couples cheers!
"I think the greatest risk of life is life without risks." I gave up nine years of experience in a good job in Ecuador to come to the other side of the world in search of new challenges, friends, culture and ways of thinking. I just finished college. I'm traveling with my cousin brother who just graduated from doctor. We love playing tennis, soccer and golf. We do not like people who smoke but if we share a drink or more. Sometimes we like to party and dance. Well, if you are interested to share with us, let me know. A hug.
Hi, I'm looking for a shared house with the positive independent people lived in. I'm working and studying, when I'm at home I'm pretty chill and need some down time, but I like to social when I'm around and also respect to your own space. I prefer not living in a party house but do enjoy the odd drink/dinner. I'm very clean and tidy (but not a clean freak type), friendly and open-minded. I'm into travelling, movies, music, sports, photography, arts, food, coffee and cats :) Besides my works, I like to go to the gigs, movies, exhibitions, shows, festivals, exploring the nice restaurants/cafes/pastry shops/markets, and travel when I have holidays. Although we might have the different work schedules, I'm very respectful and won't bring the party to home. I am happy to share the household as I like to keep the house clean and tidy, I'm looking for the liked -mind housemate who likes clean and tidy, and would be energy conscious. I'm looking for a peaceful home to live with positive people, who enjoy a relaxed quiet home, and able to take care of themselves. ***If you are looking for a partner or a friend who can always be stuck with, sorry that wouldn't be me. ***If your home is TV free, it will be a great bonus to me! Reliable and honest, pay rent on time. Conscious of the wastage of the energy. Looking for a relaxed home, not a party house. Clean and tidy, happy to join the household. Independent, share when I/you want to. Don't mind smokers but no smoking in the house. Open-minded, love multi- cultural, LGBT friendly, 40+ friendly. Pastry chef, occasional sweet treats :) Cat lover, welcome cats and like dogs. Please message me before calling, thank you! My budget is 800 to 1000/month, depending on the location. Ideally could have my own bathroom/toilet. Thank you!
Hi! I'm Maciej from Berlin, where I am about to finish my MSc studies. I'm coming to Melbourne on the 3st of November (at 7 a.m.) as I obtained my skilled graduate visa - I'm gonna take this chance to work and live in Australia for 1,5 year at least :) Currently, I'm finishing my MSc thesis. From August, I will be working at the University as a computational BIM analyst for two months (I'm a structural engineer BTW), and I'm starting to make arrangements for Australia (a job and a room)! I am a normal guy to live with, I don't make any problems, and always try to create a positive atmosphere. Besides, I like dancing salsa, playing the guitar and piano, and programming.
I have been in Melbourne for last 5 years now. Friendly person with open mind, clean and tidy. I work for a corporate firm in North Melbourne, never late with paying bills. I am usually busy with my work on weekdays. Weekends I would prefer a drink at home or would step out to see family and friends. Always glad to treat flatmates for dinner, drinks and movies. *****I am not interested in moving into someone's house as I wanna start collecting my own household stuff. Also, I have got 1 car for my work and looking forward for my weekend car. I don't wanna move out by myself as I would be bored, hence I am interested in teaming-up to rent a good place to call home. Good luck with your search!!!
I am a fun, loving person building a career in Melbourne working in the St Kilda area, looking for some equally fun people to live with, share responsibilities and keep a clean house. I am very independent, but am also looking to meet new people given I have just moved to Melbourne for work.
