My name is Rohan, I am 23 years old and I am looking to move in with some friendly, sociable and respectful people! I am full time mechanical/aerospace engineer who works the typical hours in the CBD. I enjoy going out with friends, travelling, watching/playing sports (AFL, Soccer, F1) and the occasional video game. I want to move to a place not too far from the city, with some other youngish open minded people who enjoy to hang out together (at home or going out), while also enjoying to just chill at home at times. I have my own mattress for my room, and potentially can get other furniture for the house. A few of the qualities and general things I would like out of the people I would be moving in with (as well as I offer these qualities!) - Respectful of other house mates, their personal space and the house. - Stay relatively quiet most weeknights past 12pm or so (and not make a racket if you have to wake up super early) (need that beauty sleep) - Keep the house relatively clean (not super ocd or anything just don't want to live in a pig sty. Happy to share duties/have a roster) - Happy to occasionally share meals/cook together, while also happy to cook their own thing. (Same goes with personal food) - I am in no immediate rush to move out, just looking for the right future home with some great house mates! Ps. If you have a dog thats a bonus!
Looking for a room in a share house, hoping to meet like minded people to enjoy some company with. I work full time in the beauty industry and work a few late nights. On the weekends i'm usually out socialising but i do enjoy my nights in. I'm very clean and honest!
Hi, I'm Saad, I'm 28, and I just got a job with a business consulting firm in Melbourne CBD. I'm moving in from Sydney (last week of Feb). I work full-time, regular hours. I'm an easy going guy and get along with everyone. Not new to flat sharing, shared flats in the UK and Italy while studying there, had a great time. I like to socialise and go out on the weekends and catch up with some friends over dinner. On weekdays, I'm just happy with a good cup of coffee, a good book, nearby gym, and quick WiFi. Oh, and I also love adventure sports!
Hello! I’m a kind and considerate soul with a penchant for libraries and wine bars. I’m a journalist - I work full time for a publishing house in Richmond - and I freelance for The Age. I’m looking to move shortly after Easter or at the end of April. I’m quite a keen cook and I have lots of kitchen toys (KitchenAid included!) and a delightful Danish-designed dining setting. Oh, and a good 60-odd cookbooks! 😁🍻
Originally from Perth, I previously live in Melbourne from 2011 to 2015. I'm now moving back to finish my law degree at Deakin. I will also be working part-time. Very easy going, clean and respectful flatmate. I have worked in professional environments throughout my degree and I am not looking for the "student" lifestyle, just normality :D I will probably stay for longer than 3 months, but that is all I can commit to at the moment.
We are both 27 years old from France. We just spent a year in New Zealand. Estelle is an engineer and I am a sommelier and restaurant manager. Both curious about tons of things. We love music sport gastronomy. We are laid-back people looking for a nice place to stay for at least 6 month. Definitely not looking for a party flat but we are keen to socialize and we enjoy a nice drink from time to time!
Hi there, I'm a 29 year old italian/australian who just moved to Melbourne to start a postgraduate degree. I've always moved around, I've lived in a number of countries and places so I'm really happy to meet new people, I'm easy going and I find settling in pretty simple. I like cooking (i don't look or sound italian but i need to live up to the stereotype somehow), reading (I have a bunch of books- i feel like an idiot because that's most of the stuff i brought down), music, pubs (i'll be looking for my local as soon as I move in), and coffee- I forgot my great espresso machine in sydney and i'm in mourning/ cripplingly heartbroken. I'll move on eventually but if there are cafes around that will help me through my grief that's a plus. I'm sociable, i'm down to hang out over a few drinks- but since I'm studying i also need a fair amount of independent time. I'm hoping for a medium-long term place depending on the fit. Looking forward to getting in touch and hopefully find a great place I can settle into!
I’m Max, 24 years, studying sports engineering at RMIT, just finishing my master thesis this semester! Besides I’m also working as a tennis coach! I was already living in Melbourne for 8 months and Rachel (also 24) followed me in January! Since then we have been traveling the east coast and now we are looking for a new flat in Melbourne! Rachel will be working as a graphic designer. In our free time we are doing sports, checking out all the amazing cafes, going to queen Vic market and cooking nice dinners! We also enjoy going out every now and then or having a glass of beer/wine with Netflix in the evening! Cheers, Max & Rachel
Hello! My name is Karina and I am from Puerto Rico, my boyfriend Max is from France. We have been living in St Barthelemy in the Caribbean for 4 years and are just beginning our Australia trip. We have working holiday visas and wanted to start in Melbourne. Max already has a job lined up and I have some options. We would like to stay a few months in Melbourne and work before exploring the rest of the country. We love animals and good company! I love to cook and we are both very tidy!
Hi everyone im Jess. Im a 28 year old Brit hailing from Manchester. I have just moved to Melbourne after spending last year in Sydney and parts of QLD. I work in the Cbd in the Hr industry. I am really laid back, considerate house mate with a love for brunch and a dry sense of humour. I enjoy/need my own space and privacy and whilst sharing a living space. Mostly my partying days are behind me (with the odd exception) but I would love housemates who like to do some social things together. I like wandering around the city exploring, lazing in the sun (when its out!), movie nights and attempting to keep fit. Love animals so happy with places that have pets, would even be a bonus! Also would need a furnished room and definitely dont want to share a room
Hey:) We are two friendly Russian girls doing our Master's in Melb. Rina, 23 y/o, studying at Uni of Melbourne, Irina, 33, pursuing the degree at Monash Uni, both in love with Melbourne, sightseeing and travelling. We are easy-going and sociable, clean and tidy, respectful and responsible, always pay rent&bills on time. Unfortunately, we have to move out from our lovely houseshare in March due to the construction works on the premises. Ideally, would like to get a long-term rent, preferably two private rooms in a nice sharehouse but also would consider a shared room for two. We'd love to hear from you!
Hello there! My name is Lorne and I'm moving to Melbourne from London for a year or so. I am looking for a house/flat share, because, frankly, who wants to move into a new city and live alone? Ideally I would be living with at least two other people, in a household with a social atmosphere. I'm not too fond of isolationism when it comes to flatmates. Although, I'm not exactly a party animal either; I like a party, but not nightly. Other than that, I'm easy-going. Relative cleanliness, nicish area, and the opportunity to meet new people: that's really all I'm after. Look forward to meeting you! PS: I have a tendancy to accumulate books wherever I live. If ever you feel that I've left them in a clutter, my old roommate found a one time fix: take the biggest one, aim for the head, and the problem disappears pretty quickly after that
29 Male, Software developer working at a startup in Richmond. Clean and Tidy, Respects privacy, Easy going, flexible, foodie, love to cook, movie buff and love to spend time outdoors.
I’m a very easygoing person, looking for a room in a cosy place where I can relax when I finish work. I work full time in hospitality, so out most of the time in the evenings. When I’m home I like to chill with a beer or a glass of wine and a chat, or movie nights with my mates. I love company but I also enjoy to have my own space and privacy. On my free time (no much) I like to go to the gym, be outdoor, meet up for coffee or lunch and try new places. I’m very clean and tidy and respectful of others.
I have recently moved from Brisbane to work in Melbourne. I am extremely clean, respectful, and easy to get along with. I really enjoy sport (esp football), physical activity, and exploring the city in my spare time. I generally work long hours during the week, but I'm always keen to hang out and do things on the weekend.

I'm a backpacker from South London in England 🤙🏽 Just started working full time in sales so now I'm looking to get out of the hostel life I spent the past two years living with 4 other people at uni so I'm well accustomed to living with others - I'm considerate, I'll always clean up after myself and I LOVE to binge watch Netflix if you're looking for someone easy going who'll spend their weekly wages on buying you drinks on the weekend then I'm your girl 👌🏽
