hi! i'm a third-year phd student in human geography at the university of melbourne looking for a room in the inner-north. i'm originally from melbourne and am returning home after a year in canberra (where i started my phd) and seven months in china and the uk (for fieldwork/research). i've lived in several sharehouses, for around a year each and hoping to find a place to stay for a bit longer this time. alongside research, i make observational-style documentaries, go bouldering and rock climbing a few times a week, cycle a lot and come with a relatively extensive record collection from which i like to play (albeit not loudly). i'm pretty low fuss - i tend to be at uni during the days and climbing or with friends in the evenings, although i'd like to start to cook and bake a lot more. having moved around quite a bit, i'd love to find a place that feels like a home big plus if you're into films, climbing, fermenting, social theory, have a dog, or floor-boards, or various other inner-north cliches. but ultimately my favourite housemates have been so for just being kind and humourous people, so just that would be sufficiently fab. my move-in date is flexible :)
Hello there, my name is Marzy and i work in Healthcare as a Patient Services Assistant. I am a shift worker and i need a room mate/s that will be ok with that. I'm Italian which means i love cooking! Im friendly/kind/respectful/with a sense of humour & i move around quietly... But i do also enjoy my own space at times when i need to study and sleep. In July im starting Nursing Diploma so i need to be close to the college (heidelberg) and work. - Im looking for the same qualities in a room mate/s i dont mind the gender or pets (as long as home is kept clean) - car space or on street parking required - furnished room/bills included or approx fees stated I dont need to move in till start of June but iam looking for a room for minimum 12months (possibly 24 months) as i live on the Mornington Peninsula and it's too far for me to drive every week, :-/ I will still go home once a week most likely Sundays as i also volunteer locally. If this sounds like a match please inbox me for any questions you may have.. Marzy
Hey, I'm Jack, 28, working full time. I've arrived back home to Melbs after travelling the world solo for about 15months and I'm looking for a little place that has some social work professionals who also enjoy their downtime. I'm into marketing, health, and personal development. Pretty flexible with the rent costs and move in dates. Was living in East Richmond previously, but would love somewhere closer to work near Chapel St/Church St, St.Kilda Rd, Prahran. Willing to contribute to furnishings if you need them! Prefer a medium to long term stay. More than happy to have a quick chat on the phone, or over coffee. Shoot through a message whenever you're free and looking forward to catching up! Cheers, Jack
Hey! We are a couple Daniel (29) and Paloma (25) from Colombia, we just got our PR Visa so we are moving to Melbourne from Brisbane. We have been in Australia for almost 2 years. We are easy going, extremely tidy and clean with a healthy lifestyle. I am a chef and will work full-time and my partner, Paloma, is an architect. We are looking for a place where to stay for the long term, where we can chill and rest after a busy day. We don't have pets, but we love them. We are not into the party, we prefer to have a good time at a restaurant or a Netflix and wine night at home. Paloma and I are pretty active, I enjoy going jobbing or swimming and Paloma loves to train most of the days after work. If you have any questions about us don't hesitate to contact us. Cheers!
Hey! We are both full time hospitality workers and we’re quiet, clean, and courteous housemates. When home we mostly like to chill and watch films as we are tired from work! But we also love checking out food places and going climbing. We’re looking for someone or a couple of people like us who are pretty chill but friendly too!
Hey there, I'm Adrian and have recently moved down south to Melbourne from Sydney. I’m an account manager for an IT company and enjoy the usual suspects of exploring new cafes/bars and hangouts with friends (and housemates) along with fitting in boxing & swing dancing in between. I'm up for living with a 2-3 housemates and am flexible whichever (couples etc) who are easy going, appreciate and respectful of privacy when needed, and are generally balanced human beings all round! Tidiness is a big plus as always :D. Hope to meet you soon. Cheers!
I am easy-going, friendly and social. I moved to Melbourne from Slovakia to study marine biology at the university of Melbourne. When I'm not at uni, I work at a Creperie in the CBD, and I like to go out with my friends when I have time. I respect everyone's privacy and know how to live in a shared house and keep it cleaned.
Hi Guys, my name is Maureen I'm interested in sharing , I'm an artist, and have a gorgeous female Maltese pom named Kelli who is gorgeous everyone luv's her. We are both easygoing and very clean and tidy. Cheers Maureen

I am originally from New Zealand. However, I have recently moved back from the USA after completing my college education. I'm an avid sports fan and travel enthusiast. I enjoy socializing with friends, but do like a bit of chill time too myself. Looking for a clean and tidy apartment/flat with a bunch of chill people.
Hey! My name is David and I just moved to Melbourne from Spain. I'm an Engineer and I moved here to work in Business Development for a Spanish engineering company. I'm 27, single and straight. I'm a very chill and sociable person, I love doing things and meeting new people. I'm really into music, arts, food, sports, going out every now and then, traveling... I'm really up for almost everything, so you can count on me for all kinds of plans! I want to get to know the city as well as I can. I also like chilling at home every now and then, watching a movie, etc. I'm looking for a place with people that are organised and have similar interests, that want to do things together but can also respect my privacy if I want to have some alone time. I'm looking to share with 1-2 people, but I'm open to other options!
Hey, I'm Emily. I'm level 26, working full-time, lived out of home ~5 years. Found myself back at mum's and slowly losing my mind. Needing a short-term (1-3 months, TBA until I figure my shit out) place to stay as our house is being sold. 90% of my belongings are in a garage and the rest is in my car… woo. Gamer, very clean and considerate, a bit shy, keep to myself most of the time. Enjoy nights out at metal/rock gigs. Big no to smokers and drugs, happy to share a whiskey or wine though. When not at home I'm generally pet/house sitting (my second job I guess) or at my boyfriend's. We will hopefully move in together soon, hence another reason for the short term stay. I recently became a sugar glider mama (yes, really) but he is situated with my boyfriend given my living situation. I also own a horse but he's at a trainer's in the process of being sold. Easy on whereabouts but ideally South/East suburbs, need to commute into South Melbourne for work. I have a tiny Mazda2 that I’m happy to street park. Aaand that's me in a nutshell. Hope to hear from you! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I am a second-year Nursing student who works part-time. I am quiet but easy-going; I prefer to spend time alone when at home. I spend most of my time either doing coursework, reading, talking to friends, or working. I have a bit of OCD, so I am very particular about being clean and tidy, which extends into the places I stay in.
Hi how are you? I’m from Colombia. I’m 22 years old. I arrived 2 months ago to Melbourne to improve my English. At moment I work in hospitality. I’m an easy going person, who like to share but respect your own also. I’m tidy and organize, would be nice if we can meet before and I see if fit in your place
Hey! I’m Joel! Basically live at my job, but it’s at the Melbourne Museum which is exciting... I normally come home with plenty of interesting stories to share - or another plant I’ve ‘accidently’ bought. Originally from Adelaide and have been in Melbourne for over a year now. Love to eat good food, watch movies, read and just generally chill out. Love an excellent coffee and a cheeky bev. I’m really relax, clean and friendly! Looking to move into a sharehome with other awesome folk!
Hi there! My name is Ron and I'm a 24 year old looking for a place to stay for about 3-4 months from April/May. I work full time at a bank and do enjoy a bev or two after work. I can cook but also love to eat out (by that I mean shamelessly order ubereats from somewhere within walking distance), and like to think I am a pretty clean/neat person having been brought up by a mother with undiagnosed OCD. I love pets but am sadly allergic to cats. I'm looking for social flatmates with similar lifestyles but also like to enjoy some time to themselves. Always down for a chat over a coffee or drink to discuss further!
I'm relocating to Melbourne from Perth for work and need a place to stay by the 15th of April. I'm a pretty laid back guy, easy to get along with and I clean up after myself. I like to socialise but you won't have to worry about me throwing parties and being loud as I don't know anyone in Melbourne and I'm always looking to do right by the people I live with. I'm pretty flexible in terms of how long I'm willing to stay somewhere. I'm not too fussy about where I end up as I'm really just looking for anywhere I can stay when I get to Melbourne. Swing me a message and let me know if you can help me out! I really appreciate it.
Graphic designer person who recently left their job in Sydney and moving back to Melbourne (I do have savings and will be looking for other work, of course). I'm quiet but can talk a lot once comfortable. I don't drive so close to public transport is a must. I do have a large monstera philodendron that would love to move with me. Cat person but don't hate dogs. I drink a lot of tea.
