Hey folks, EXCHANGE STUDENT; GERMAN; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY; 25; NICE; TIDY; LAUGHING; FUN So first of all, my name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
I am a professional photographer and teacher of photography. I am simple and quiet boy, I love movies, drink a beer, walk to the beach and animals (I have no pets) Searching for accommodation at the beach or near. I am a very careful and respectful. I love to cook Mexican, Italian and French. I am currently in Barwon heads and wants to get closer to the city center.
Hi there! Born in Australia with an Armenian background, easy going, normal guy. Weekdays are 9-5 job, like to get up early some mornings and go for a run and some nights boxing after work. Like to socialise, eat out, travel, go to the footy and loveee listening to music. I am a clean guy but not the clean freak type!
I am interested about a room in a shared flat, with a yard preferred. I am a French 27 year old guy. I arrived mid October in Melbourne. I like St Kilda area. I am used to share flats, in France I was sharing a house with a garden, cat and dog with 2 friends of mine for 2 years. I also spent one semester with a Brazilian and a German when I studied in the Netherlands. I am clean and I love cooking. In fact I prefer eating but nobody cooks for me so I had to adapt since in am 10, I also have to work out to not get fat. I am going to get a job as a labourer next week and I want to stay for at least 3 months.
Hello all! I am a British male here in Australia for a years working holiday. I have been here a week and already am in love with Melbourne. I would love to be able to find a place that I can call home in the 3 months that I am here (possibility for extension). I am clean, tidy and totally respectful of other housemates. I am also a social person and would love to live with people who i can enjoy a drink with or dinner whilst watching the telly and catching up on our days. I look forward to meeting potential housemates :-)

I appreciate clean surroundings and relaxing conversations. My energy goes mainly towards work and gym but I'm open to spontaneous trips when my schedule allows me to.

I'm moving to Melbourne on the 14th of November I'm looking for a place to stay long term in Saint Kilda or surrounding suburbs, Even Melbourne C.B.D If the price is good. I wouldn't like to pay anymore then $180.00 per week. ( Preferably no bond either) I'm looking for a single room fully furnished please, Not a room share! I'm a smoker but very clean, career orientated (currently seeking a job in Melbourne) and organised person. Feel free to contact me by text or email, Thank you for your time.
Hi! ABOUT ME I am clean, respectful of belongings, privacy, and noise. I am friendly and outgoing, enjoy all sports, reading good books, travel, and trying new things. I currently run my own business in the fitness industry which keeps me busy during the early mornings and evenings. I compete in triathlons so definitely not a party animal but would love to share a meal/wine with you a 1-2 days a week. IDEAL HOME Looking for a share house that has a clean, safe and homily environment. I don't know many people in Melbourne so would like a house that is welcoming and friendly. Looking for a large room and safe place to store my bikes. I also have a car so would need a car space or access to street parking. Looking to move in from Mid - November onwards as lease is expiring soon. If you think I would be a good fit for your house please get in contact! Amy
I'm a 31 year old Irish guy who is moving to Melbourne in late November from London. I will be mainly working during the week in St Vincents Hospital in the city. I'm a fairly good housemate I think. Clean, tidy, can cook, easy going, sociable and all the rest. I love sports, films, tv, going out, fitness and travelling. I'm looking for a furnished room in a flat share so if you have a spare room and you think I would be a good housemate then get in touch. P.s. I hate writing these bio things so if I sound like a knob then I apologise.
Hi potential flatmates! I'm thomas, 31 years old. I left my beloved France last year where I lived seven years in Paris. I'm looking for some friendly flatmates willing to share more than just the rent and bills. I would wish in st kilda or closed suburbs. I would say that I am respectful, reliable and open-minded. I'm too old anymore to make party everytime, but sometimes I forget it! I'm quite tidy for a bloke... not based on my mum but according to female friends and that is worth, right?! :-) I'm working as a Consultant because I like to be paid telling to people what they have to do and...hum...no I shouldn't say that here, forget it -_- What else, I am really into soccer, enjoy nice strolls listenning some electronic music and I need to be near to the sea even if I swim like a stone :-/ Conclusion, I am just modestly a bargain! ahah
Hey guys, We're a super cool and awesome couple looking for a place to rent in or around North Melbourne. We're on a working holiday visa and have finished our travels, and now just looking to spend the remainder of our time in Melbourne while we work. We've both working professionals (we're not boring k lol), and are very clean and tidy (we're in a place now that stank of smoke and mouldy shower galore, and omg the first two days of living here was napalm strike everything to clean it wtf). We're outgoing but we're not the type that live for the weekend and throw parties all the time. So, if you have a 1 bed apartment or a 2 bed flatshare or whatever that's in our budget we would be the best people to take it pls! Thanks, Rio & Haris
I am a clean, respectful, and social woman of 22 from Montreal. I am on a working visa in Australia for one year and am planning on staying in Melbourne the entire year. I love my own space, but I do love to hang out as well. I am looking for a quiet environment that does not host big parties every week. I have lived with other flatmates before and have always gotten along very well. I have become friends with most of them. The only thing that annoys me is a dirty kitchen because I love to cook, so this is pretty much my only requirement that will make me happy!
Im a 24yr old Australian girl originally from Perth but moved to Melbourne earlier this year and am in search for a room (preferably a private one). I have lived in heaps of sharehouses and am well and truly house trained. I'd be so keen for housemates of similar age and easy going individuals who are up for a bit of after work banter but also respect each others space when needed. Not so keen to come home to house of closed doors and complete silence every night. In terms of work, I have just started a new 9-5 job in south yarra. I am excellent at paying my bills/rent (and if I’m too poor i still call the bank of mum or the credit card). Im pretty easy going and love to have a laugh. I do love a cheeky night out on the weekend but am always respectful of other housemates and have perfected the silent return. Hobbies include netflix, netball, baking, socialising, doing nothing in my activewear, trying out new cafes and bars etc I can never think of what sort of things I should say here so if you have any other questions lemme know!!
Hey, I'm Dane, 22yo male originally from the north coast of NSW but lived in Melbourne for almost two years. I have just arrived back in Australia (20 Oct 2016) from five moths travelling overseas, so currently back at my parents place up north. I work in hospitality, so as a result I love a good meal and a well made beverage. Although I do enjoy a night out I enjoy a night in just as much. I have shared before and and very aware of how to co-exist with others that may not be on the same working schedule as myself (hospitality obviously has some odd hours). So being respectful of others in the house when I get home from work and what not. Hopefully when I get back to Melbourne I pretty much pick up where I left off, working full time and enjoying being 22.
23 year old female from the U.K Staying and working in Melbourne for a few months. I'm very laid back, not one to take things too seriously! Looking to hopefully stay with someone who knows how to have a laugh! However i do like my own privacy from time to time. Im sort of a neat freak so like to keep things clean and tidy too!
Hi there, I am a french traveller in my early thirties, looking for a cozy place and great people to live with. I am open-minded, pretty easy-going and chilled, very respectful of my flatmates' privacy and also enjoy sharing some time, ideas and opinions around a glass of wine. I also enjoying running or any kind of sport or exercice, especially outdoor, into photography and music, and enjoy cooking from time to time.
My name is Carlos, I'm from Spain, I'm 30 years old and I have just moved to Melbourne because I am going to work here as an IT engineer. I had the opportunity to live in Morocco, France, Germany, Russia and Kazakhstan and now I am going to begin a new life in Australia. Last year I was working in the Spanish Embassy in Moscow and two years ago in Berlin so as you can see I have moved a lot. I think I am an open minded guy, easy going and capable to adapt to any kind of flatmates. If you are the kind of person who likes sharing thoughts in order to fix the world while having dinner, you can count on me. And if you are a busy person who prefer to be alone it also works fine for me.
Hello i am Kyra. I'm from Holland travelling through New Zealand, Australia and Asia. I have a working holiday visa in Australia so i need a place to stay for a longer time. Hi there! My name's Lea, I'm at a 23 year old woman from Vancouver, Canada. I graduated from uni with a history major last May and decided that between that and grad school I would love to do a few months in Melbourne and explore Australia! I've got the work-holiday visa and am planning to find a serving job or something like that. Pretty easy-going gal, I'm very friendly and love to chat, but also am into alone time to relax and chill out. Funny, respectful, love both cats and dogs (will help you take care of your pet if you have one!), anything else you want to know please feel free to send me a message! Also, I'm very flexible with the length of my stay, I just put 3 months a bit randomly because I had to choose one.
Hi everyone! I will start my master degree in Rmit and looking for a comfy place for long term stay. 24 yo female from İstanbul. I'm easygoing and friendly, always up for sharing a dinner or drink. enjoy spending time at home, watching movie but also enjoy going out at weekends. Looking for housemates that will become friends :) Don't have cats but loove them, so if you have it's np for me. Ps: I can move on from 12th of november Cheers!
Hi there, I'm Benji! I am 27 and I'm currently working full time at a high school in Camberwell as an admin staff and general tech whiz! I'm also studying part time on the weekends to be a dog trainer, my course ends in January next year. I've just been told by my landlord that she will be demolishing the property I've been living at for the last 4 years and I need to find new accommodation before December 27th (merry Christmas, y'all!). I would be like to be out by the end of November ideally, but happy to work with you on a date depending on the property. I'm also pretty easy on location, so long as I can get to work in Camberwell in under an hour, I'm stoked! A bit about me: I love animals. I have two dogs named Squish and Nibbler. Squish is a 4 year old male Rottie X and Nibbler is a 2 year old female Kelpie X. They are both desexed, have been obedience trained, crate trained and I take them for regular walks. They are the dynamic duo and A-team! Squish will do anything for a treat and Nibbler lives for the ball, so they're good fun! I would also be bringing a 3 foot aquarium with me, but would be happy to keep it in my room if there isn't space elsewhere. It's a tie between coffee and TV for my drug of choice. I also love art, music, books, comics and Game of Thrones! I also like to build things...for example, I built a dog bunk bed and a couple of film sets (spaceships!) I'm currently living in a fully furnished house with all the trimmings, so if you think I could add anything of value to your house as well, I'd be happy to oblige! The rest will likely end up in the skip or in storage. Things like: 3 plasma TVs, stainless steel fridge, bar fridge, Nespresso machine, washing machine, vacuum, SEVERAL couches, desk, dining room table and chairs, lawn mower, whipper snipper, lots of tools, an outdoor gas heater, a media centre pc and several terabytes of movies and TV shows! I have lived in houseshares before and would like some people I can hang out with, though I am respectful of other people's space. I clean up after myself and, obviously, my dogs. I'm pretty easy going, so hit me up if you think you'd like to meet me and my pooches!
Hello, looking for a place to live in the next 6 weeks. I'm working and saving money for a trip along the Australian east coast. Very respectful of others spaces and things, very tired of living in hostels. I'm friendly, kind and fun, I guess! I can cook some Italian dishes and would love to share everything I have with my future housemates!
I am extremely clean so I prefer to live on my own for this reason. I spend most of my time at work. I am studying as well as working next year. I'm searching for a place on my own in a studio or one bedroom apartment. Please message me if you have something available around the 16th of January when my current lease is up. I'm open to locations around Melbourne. Please send a link with pictures of the place :) Requirements: -Car park -Room to fit king sized bed & draws -Price - can go to $350 if the place is amazing! i.e., gym, new apartment or studio, LUG, location, etc. Thanks! :)
I am a very friendly and a warm person. I like to keep things neat and I mostly keep to myself reading novels or my kindle. I love to cook but rarely do so. I do enjoy an occasional social party and I adjust very easily. :)
I'm looking for an easy home environment to move into, preferably long term. I’m an easy going social person and I like to get out of the house to check out the food and drink scene. Ideally would like to live with people who are also social and easy to communicate with. I'm an international studies student and I work as well, but being a student doesn't affect my ability to pay bills on time. Send me through a message if you have questions :)
Hi I'm Geraldine! I'm 33 and work full time as a secretary for a Plastic Surgeon in Windsor. I would describe myself as someone who is honest, caring and hardworking. I like to think that I have a great sense of humour?.... I am an easy going person & get along with with most people. I also enjoy travelling, watching movies, going out for dinner/drinks and having great conversations, whether it be about the birds and the bees, or why the sky is blue? I do respect ones privacy and personal space and I must stress that I am a very tidy person. I'm a great housemate! 😊👍🏼
Im new to Melbourne, originally from the UK and looking to stick around a while as I have just got a job in the CBD full time. Hey! We currently live in Hawthorn and our lease runs out in December. We both work full time in retail and are easy going people. Clean, respectful and love to have a wine and a boogie but also like to chill out during the week. We are looking to find a person or couple that we can not only share a place with but also have a friendship with. We have both been living in apartments for years and super keen to get a bigger place with an outside space so we can enjoy the summer having bbqs. We already have furniture for the place so it would be ideal to find someone who has minimal stuff. Hannah works at Chadstone and Matty works in the city so we want to find a place that is relatively close to a train station & the M1 freeway- but we are pretty flexible. Get in touch and we can meet up for a drink and see if we are compatible.
Moving back to melbourne as ill be starting a new job and wanting to live close to home, very quiet easy going !!! Love my privacy but also love to chat nothing worse and being awkward in a house hold !!! Haha I travel alot and live a busy life style.
From near Liverpool, UK. Originally came here as a backpacker, but recently sponsored to work full time as a Front End Developer (fancy job title for someone who builds websites). Currently living in Werribee and working in Mulgrave - so hoping to cut that commute down by more than half! I work hard, but don't mind enjoying myself at the weekend with a few beers. I have a terrible coffee habit, which is convenient for me to live in Melbourne. Love snowboarding. Scuba diving. Playing guitar badly (don't worry, the guitar is back in England). Listening to music (Foo Fighters, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, John Butler Trio, Doves, Jack White, The Beatles). Watching TV (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Parks and Recreation, Rick and Morty) and Films (Into the Wild, America Beauty, Batman, Inception, Interstellar etc). Hoping to get straight back into a gym routine once I've settled, so looking forward to that. I'm clean and tidy, so you won't have to worry about living in mess. Love exploring new places, eating at new restaurants and working my way around the many cafes of Melbourne. I'm sociable and outgoing, but also enjoy my own space every now and again. Hoping to find a flat share with like-minded people.
Hi I'm Rob, originally from NZ, been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the events industry. Grew up with 3 sisters so very much house trained, friendly and considerate of others. Have a fairly busy life from work, but always try to have a catch up when i have the time. Happy to live with quiet or sociable people, have lived with both before and get along great with either. Love animal's but don't have any myself. Non smokers preferred
Hey! I'm Catherine and am looking for a share house in or around st kilda. I'm currently studying and working full-time in the city so living close to public transport is a must! Outside of work, I like to keep active by riding or walking. I also enjoy reading, watching movies/tv shows, going to the beach or heading out to a new cafe or bar Although I'm a bit of an introvert, I'm friendly and love meeting new people. I like to keep things clean, and am respectful of other people's property and space. If any of this interests you, or you have any questions, please feel free to message me :) Thanks!

Am respectfull of others personal space and belongings. I am clean and tidy I'm nature, and happy to help out in any aspect around the house. Looking for a place to call home, with a nice relaxed vibe that I can come home to after a long day. I like to catch up with mates on the weekend and get out of the house. Also like to go away for weekends to the beach or camping whenever possible and always up for doing new things. Ideally seeking an unfurnished room in an existing share house, however am more than wiilling to team up with others and create a new share house as well. Would ideally want a minimum stay period of 6 months. However I am flexible with this if I found the right fit. Not 100% on where I want to move to yet, so I just put down a few posibilities. Send me a message if you are looking to team up or have a spot, and think I would suit your place. We can discuss details and plan a catch up. 😊
I am a pretty buisy 35 y/o Aussie with the being/doing of life but strive for a balance: fitness, health, waitressing, art studies, sound healing meditations, singing, performing, business, art, spanish and so forth. I like to meet new people from different walks of life and enjoy the occasional chat in the kitchen while going about things with the occasional bbq or shared meal or place to hang out with my housies. :) Looking for a place to call home and work on projects, perhaps even set up an area to do sound healing meditations if their is space. Holaa if you'd like to know more about me. Im a pretty easy going person to live with, respectful, pays bills on time, likes to laugh and not take things too seriously.
While transitioning (bolstering my financial situation) from a charity I set up I experienced shared house living and have found it to be both enjoyable and good for all involved when the conditions are right. Circumstance has me looking for a new shared environment so here I am. Oh yes - I believe in leaving spaces I visit cleaner than I found them and do my best to 'pay rent & bills ahead of time' if possible. Love exercise - especially supping (stand up paddle boarding) on a small wave - and being around positive people.
Hello hello! We are an *AWESOME* couple looking for some peace of mind so we can get work done! Bruno is an entrepreneur. He owns an advertising agency in Brazil and is currently launching a new online business - so he's always working on his laptop (either at home or in some trendy cafe). His mains hobbies are reading, networking, attending seminars and exercising outdoors. Oh, and he also writes about Personal Development. Leticia is a ballerina. She has a promising career as a contemporary dancer and has even performed internationally with big names in the industry. She's a very active individual, and is always moving - either taking ballet classes, practicing yoga or doing pilates. We've been travelling Australia & New Zealand for the past 3 months in search for the perfect city to settle down. After visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Auckland and Queenstown, we finally have a winner :) Right now we're looking for a place with central location to set our base. Bruno will be doing lots of work and going to business meet ups, and Leticia will be outside visiting dance studios and honing her craft. We're very easygoing and have a positive mindset, and we value a clean and organized environment. And as much as we love to chat and interact, we can also respect your privacy if you're not very talkative. Oh and 2 things that are important to mention: 1. We are both vegan and we love to cook - so we'll use the kitchen a lot! But don't worry because we always clean up after ourselves. 2. Bruno is allergic to cats and cigarettes. So it must be a no-cats, no-smoking house. If you read this far and believe we'd be a compatible match for your place, then send us a message and let's get to know each other! We can't wait to meet our new flatmate ;)
I work full time as a graphic designer during the week and like to relax, socialise and exercise in the evenings. I'm very easy going but not that easy going that I leave a mess all the time. I can cook and am not afraid to help out keeping the place tidy. At the weekends I love to get out and do things and socialise at night so would be great to find like minded people.
I am looking for someone or two people who I can move in with at the end of this year. I am currently working full time but am wanting to go back to university to study my Masters. I like sports; tennis, swimming and yoga. Other hobbies include; cooking, travel, seeing movies and hanging with friends. Would ideally want a person who is either working or studying that is easy going and I can get along with.

I am looking forward to spending the next 3 months here in wonderful Melbourne. I am a nurse and will be working with my agency in the local hospitals. Look forward to meeting you and making the most of my last 3 months in Aus!!
Happy and outgoing couple who have been in Australia for around a month! Sam is from the UK and is working full time for a sales company out of richmond, Julie is from denmark also working for a sales company in Richmond! We both are socialable and up for a good laugh, like to eat out and have a few drinks a few nights a week! We are in Melbourne till next year when we are looking to travel more of Australia!
I'm moving to Melbourne to work for a cool cloud software company - kind of fell into the software world by chance despite having a degree in biology, but I've been told I'm a good teacher, and have been working the last couple of years in implementing software for customers around the world! LOVE travel, music, a good laugh (maybe too much), nature, and driving - in fact, I don't know how I'm gonna survive in Melbourne without my car, but I'll have to learn to let go of my attachments......
Hey! Little about me: my name is Hamad, I’m a 21-year-old international student studying my bachelors in IT and Business at RMIT. Originally from Saudi Arabia and lived a few years in the states, so I’m fluent in both English and Arabic. Enjoy going outside and being active, like playing basketball, swimming, hiking, anything really. I like to believe I’m a good housemate, tend to keep my place clean and tidy as a go, and rarely leave it for later. Despite being in IT I’m very sociable and easy to get along with haha.

I've moved to Melbourne last week and I'm looking for somewhere to stay long term along with my friend Marta. I'm 30 yo, originally from Poland but lived in Perth for the last 7 years. I will be working two jobs most of the time. I moved here to get a job in my proffesion (dental technician) but I've done hospitality work too so I'll be getting a pub job as well. I'm quiet and tidy and I can also provide reference from my real estate back in Perth. Marta is 26, also Polish. Has been here 3 weeks and moved from Sydney where she lived for 6 years. She works full time in marketing in Richmond area. Thanks in advance!
I am super quiet, very clean and tidy and really only need this place for 2-3, max 4 nights per week. The rest of the days I'll be in Geelong helping nan out. I work nightshift therefor will arrive home in between 6-830 in the mornings and sleep almost of the day, so you'll barely know I'm there 😊🌻💁🏾
Incredibly tidy, respectful and quiet however I am always up for drinks and television. Plays video games and listens to metal. Out a lot and am pretty chill and easy going.
