Very chilled housemate that is considerate of others and is easy going. I want to live with people who can become my mates and not just living under the same roof. Also looking to create a place to call home. I work in social media and study my masters.
Hello! I am a student studying abroad looking for a place to stay while in Australia, I arrive July 21st and will be studying through November and staying until December. I am a 22-year-old college senior, and am looking for environment where I can be the most successful in my studies abroad. I am much looking forward to meeting new people and am not a typical partier, I am neat and responsible, well traveled, friendly, fun, and want a place to live that is reflective of these traits. I am looking to keep my rent around $300 a week, and am very much looking forward to staying in Melbourne! Walker
Young couple moving to Melbourne looking for temporary accommodation and friends!
I'm 25. I study 3rd year occupational therapy at ACU. I play weekly ultimate frisbee in brunswick! I love rockclimbing, cycling, mountain biking and trail running. I am an avid traveller, I love backpacking and I've been on a few trips to Nepal which holds a special place in my heart. I love footy; I support Crows (don't hold it against me haha) - but I'm easy going as and enjoy watching any team. I work as a disability support worker (DSW) for Independence Australia; providing clients living with spinal cord injuries/CP in-home support. I also work as a DSW for Scope and City of Port Phillip providing support in creative activities/community access for people with disabilities. In this work I also get to provide support at Holiday Arts programs, a community kitchen and community theatre. I am originally from Lismore, far north coast NSW. I'm clean, easy going and super reliable with rent (cheers Youth Allowance). I have been living in share houses since 18 - and as a result I respect and value shared areas; and value weeknight sleep. Cheers, Leigh.
Hi, My name is Phiis. I'm a design student in RMIT(city campus). I'm looking for a tidy and quiet place to stay 1.5 years. I'm a laidback person who’s open minded and respectful to others.Love music, food and art. I tend to spend time in the kitchen for cooking and the deck/balcony for smoking but most of time I am busy in my room for my assignment or watching Netflix ;)
I am 22 years old and moving to Melbourne from Perth to study law at Monash. I am a fairly quiet person and will be studying a lot, though I am very friendly and don't mind a chat. I'm very neat, respectful and easygoing.
We are two females from North America who met while living in Vietnam. We currently live in Footscray but find it 'Footscary' and it makes us 'Footscry' haha but really we would just like to live closer to the city. We both work in hospo full time but we don't work crazy late hours. We are both easy going and enjoy socialising with a glass of wine. We enjoy living in a clean and respectful environment.
Hi! My name is Julien. I'm 22. I come from Bordeaux, in the South West of France. I'm currently pursing a Master's Degree at ESCP Europe, a business school located in Paris, and I'm doing a one-semester exchange program at Melbourne University, which is part of my last year before graduation. For this stay in Melbourne, I'm planning to work part-time. I'm sociable, discrete and respectful. I'm also a reliable person. I love sports (surf, soccer, tennis, rugby) and I'm eager to discover local ones. Moreover, I'm a fond of music (playing guitar and piano) and like having discussions on cultural and political issues.

ABOUT ME Hi possible-future-housemates 🤗 🏠 . I'm Lane and I'm looking for a happy, healthy, humble Northside home (Carlton, Collingwood, Brunswick, Clifton Hill, etc.). I'm open to short-term or long-term options. I'm a quiet, considerate, creative soul who loves running, good food, good coffee, and great conversation. I'm all the friendlies — gender, orientation, environmental, and more — and I appreciate balanced homes. I lean left, arty, and less-masculine: I'm not looking to live in any variations of Blokes' World... I am looking for a clean, open, honest homely-home; somewhere I feel I'm coming home to and somewhere I feel I belong. I'm well-versed in co-living — I'm currently living in a 7 bedroom converted-convenience-store-sharehouse (which I love); before here I was living on my own (which I also love, in ways; though I love social interactivity more), so I'm pretty adaptable — and I respect my own time and space as much I do that of others. I love the usuals — arts, film, photography, music, people — and I'm fond of the ukulele, Rubik's Cube, and learning new things, because, this is how we grow. I'm trying to improve my sign language skills too so if you can help me I'll love you forever. I don't do TV though I love documentaries and film. I'm an environmentally-considerate car owner so parking is a consideration for me, and I have a small social enterprise I'm about to launch so a room with desk-space would be helpful as I sometimes work my night away — if I have to — or even a workspace somewhere else in the house. PERSONAL QUALITIES I'm an open and honest soul and seek the same in those around me. I believe communication is the key because communication is the key, as hard as it can sometimes be... FOOD, SHARING, & FURNITURE I'm an uber-minimalist and I come furniture-free. I'd prefer a furnished bedroom but it's not a deal-breaker. PETS I love animals but don't have any of my own. I steal all my pet pats when I'm out and about and/or running, stopping to pat and meet every four-legged friend I can.
I'm extremely tidy and very aware of my surroundings and other people. Though I like down time at home, I am very hospitable with time and efforts. I am looking to share a house with one other professional in a place with own room and bathroom. Preferably unfurnished and non smoking environment. A bit about me: * DTE; * Professionally employed in Construction (about to undertake studies for 12 months); * Have 2 grown up and independent children; * Avid traveller and outdoor activities; * Have a small farm in a wine region, so will be away most weekends (renovating); * Great cook, healthy outlook without going overboard; * Good conversationalist on all levels; * Animal lover; * Love anything renovations, designs and interiors; * Have a superking bed, so need ample size bedroom.
25, super easy going. Currently in final year studying Sustainable Engineering. Loves cooking, netflix/stan & chilling, reading and painting. Looking for a private room (incl. bills & net) preferably in or very close to the CBD!
My name is Jonas. I'm 24 years old. I'm from Copenhagen, Denmark, and on July 12th, I'm going on exchange study to Melbourne. It's my first time in Australia and I'm really excited. Back home, I'm doing my masters in Sociology and live at a student residence with many international students. Now it's my turn to explore the world so I have decided to study a semester at University of Melbourne, experience Australia, and meet new people. I love doing sports (especially soccer, biking and water sports), going to concerts, exploring the city, travelling, playing board games, and cooking. I'm open-minded, helpful, and always positive. I hope that you can help me finding a place to stay!
Hi, I'm Maria! Im 26 and working full time in facilities and maintenance management. I also work in retail on the odd weekend as a casual, which I really enjoy. Clean and tidy, which goes without saying. Quite the extrovert, love having a chat with a wine/IPA, but also happy to have a quiet night in with a book/Netflix binge. Currently living in the western suburbs, and looking to make the change to the east to be closer to work (Richmond). I never really know what to say in these things, so if there's anything you want to know, please ask away! Hope to hear from you soon :)
I’m a 30 year-old marketing professional (full-time, government employee) originally from Tassie looking for long-term accommodation. It would be great to get the keys late August. I’ve been housesitting for the last few years (interpret as tidy, charming and responsible, who can be trusted with expensive assets (their home) and favourite child (family pets)). It’s time I find a place to ‘settle’ and I’m keen to meet some new people. I work south-east of the city and drive, so a parking space is a bonus. I'm quite house proud and looking for a well-presented apartment/room to share with no more than two people. I enjoy the city, but on weekends I like to explore regional areas when possible. I enjoy the great outdoors, team sports (hockey in winter), over the top animal lover with a love/hate relationship with Pilates and the gym. Keen to meet new people but I do have a network in Melbourne who also keep me busy.
Hi, I'm Glennie. I'm a 26 year old town planner working full time in Melbourne. I have just relocated from Brisbane and am looking for a room in a share house for around 6-12 months (possibly longer). I like to take it pretty easy during the week and will go to the gym or relax with a glass of wine while not at work. On weekends I like to go out and socialise (brunch, lunch, cheese platters etc). I am not a party animal but I do like to go out every now and again. I am super clean and organised and have shared many houses in the past so I know how to pull my weight.
Hi people of the word! How great is internet!? How great is it, to look for something, what happens in the future. I'm blessed about lots of things, which are happening to me. So why not, the perfect roommate/s!? I'm a 25 yo very uncomplicated German. A room at CBD or Southbank would be perfect, because I have to work there but it's definitely not a musst. Under the week I need my time to rest, having some drinks on the weekend is fine but I actually don't need that much party at home. Moving without furniture, that would be a big plus to have a bed already in the room. I will bring a lot of positive German energy into the flat/house. Really like to share lifetime storys with you and just want to spent a awesome time in Melbourne. If you need something to know about me, hobbies, whatever, please give me a pm or text on my phone. Cheers Felix
I'm a 22 year old from the country Victoria studying a Bachelor in Criminal Justice with the hopes of joining the Federal Police. I enjoy the company of people and pets of any kind (living on a farm does that) but when I am working/studying I'm pretty recluse and like to work as hard as possible. I am an avid video gamer, enjoy playing sport (not so much watching it), reading long novels that never seem to finish and going out for a quite Friday night. I like to keep myself and my room clean and respect that fact that I will be sharing a house with others and will gladly pitch in to keep it clean and running (if there is a nice garden I wouldn't mind planting a few veggies to even try and keep the food flowing fresh). Cheers.
