Hi there, We are two 22 year-old MS students from a school of Chemical Science and Engineering in Paris and we will be staying in Melbourne for a 5-month internship at CSIRO (Clayton) from April 1st to August 31st 2018. For this stay we are looking for a room in a houseshare or a flatshare somewhere near the city loop stations or around South Yarra. During our free time, we enjoy traveling and discovering new cultures, and that's why we chose to come to Australia for this internship. We would also love to meet new people, have some cultural exchanges, and hang out once in a while, which is why we decided to try Flatmates. Of course, we also need our own privacy and respect yours. Feel free to contact us if you think we could be the flatmates you're looking for! Anne & Paul
Express of Interest - MID APRIL 2018 Hi people! I'm Natalia, early 30's from Chile, and I'm looking for my next (and hopefully last!) place to stay for at least 6 months, or maybe more. Specifically looking around Prahran, Balaclava, St Kilda East, Windsor, or close to my job, South Melbourne, Richmond, South Yarra, Albert Park, or surroundings. **NOT LOOKING IN THE NORTHERN SUBURBS** I'm a chilled and easygoing girl, studying Project Management, and working in admin close to the city, very clean and tidy (I reeeeally appreciate cleanliness), super respectful, and looking for a place where I feel "at home". I've worked and lived in NZ, Chile and USA, and have shared apts before, so I know how it works ;) ABOUT ME: I have a pretty active life, I have a boyfriend so I stay at his place some nights, I like going out, practising yoga, listening to live music, go for drinks, or picnics in the park, dancing lover, dog lover, and I'm happy to be friends with my housemates, if that flows naturally...I enjoy watching movies, sharing a bottle of wine or a meal, I'm 420 friendly, but also really appreciate the quietness during week nights. I'm looking to have a furnished private room, and don't mind to share the house/flat with two or three more. Not more than 3 tho, I've had enough sharing with more!! lol Willing to pay between $600 and $700 a month. Need to have easy access to public transportation!! If you're looking for someone like me, send me a msg! Thanks! :)
I'm a full time international student from Korea and I'm doing Bachelor of Science in University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a furnished modern apartment room near Unimelb/city. I'm outgoing, respectful, clean and really chill so feel free to contact me!
I work full time in Port Melbourne as a dental technician, and looking to move out of my current apartment in May/June. I would love to find someone like-minded to move into a place with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. I like my own space but don't mind hanging out and watching a movie or going out for dinner. I have a massive green and candle thumb so the place will be green and great smelling. Ideally we would find a new place together and sign up a new lease. But happy to move in to an existing place.
I'm moving to Australia from New Zealand early April as I've landed a job in Melbourne. Looking for a flat that is easy going and fun. I'm clean/respectful and keen for a beer/wine every now and then. I'd be working Monday - Friday.
Helloooooo My name is Brendan and I am a backpacker from Canada. I am a very clean, well kept, and hygienic. Sometimes maybe overly hygienic. Hello, I am looking for a place to stay, short term or long term in the Melbourne area, and also looking for work as well in the electronics industry. Thank you, Peter
I’m a very considerate, introverted person who is looking for a room to share with 1 or 2 other people. And I have a small dog that is very affectionate and cute. I have just ended a 1 year lease where I didn’t advise the rental agency of her existence and they were none the wiser. She’s low maintenance and very loveable.
Hey everyone! My name is Kayla and my boyfriend Luca and I are looking for a new place to call home! I'm new to Australia - I'm here from Canada on my first WHV and Luca is from Italy and in his second year here. We both love to cook, watch movies and go out every once in a while! Luca is a full time steel fixer and I'm currently bartending / doing casual teaching assistant work. We're both easy going, social individuals and can get along with anyone!
Hi there, I am a single, no hang up and straight forward guy looking for accomodation in inner Melbourne. I am a working professional in consulting and travel occasionally for work interstate and overseas. Overall a great housemate, respectful, clean and courteous. Personal and professional references available if needed. Ready to move in if suitable. Cheers
I'm a gregarious, respectful, humble and quirky writer committed to my new career (it's been a bit under a year since I made the change). Whilst extroverted, I'm by no means high maintenance or loud. Conversation comes easy to me and I'm interested in other people and the world around me. Overall - I'm a positive, happy, and well-balanced person. My professional life is really interesting and fulfilling and I work in an office (not from home). On weekends, I enjoy quiet downtime and early nights.
Hello, I'm very friendly and helpful person who is looking for a room to rent. I am flying over in April as I am taking a 1-year Diploma course in SFX Make-up. Hopefully, you'll consider me as a flatmate/housemate!
Hello! I’m a 20 year old full time worker, originally from Scotland but have lived in Melbourne 4 years. I currently live with my family in Windsor, but now I’m keen to get my own space! Not looking too far because I love this side of the city. Very bubbly, love a good chat preferably over some wine & cheese! **Self acclaimed Chapel Street happy hour expert** :)
I'm 28, from the UK, I've been in Melbourne nearly 2 months and I have just started looking for work (living off savings at the moment so paying rent won't be a problem even if I'm not working). Back home I worked in student support within a university so I'm trying to find something similar/office admin/9-5. I did Graphic Design at uni and use it for my own personal projects. I love travelling (this is my second time in Australia), reading, seeing movies and keeping up to date with Grey's Anatomy. I like somewhere I can get good food, coffee, gin or wine and enjoy meeting new people and spending time with friends.
32 year old, full time analyst for the Department of Justice. During the week I have a 9-5 job and during the weekend, I am busy with my studies. I have varied interest: hiking, financial investing, data science and backpacking. I am clean and exceptionally tidy and try my best to be considerate to people that are around me. I am an easy going guy, likes to cook and go out for drinks whenever an opportunity arises. I grew up in Perth, Western Australia - moved to Melbourne for uni a while back and ended up staying here. Happy to meet new people and share experiences!
Hi, my name is Carmen, 25, from Germany. At home I work as a Physical Therapist, but now I am here in Australia for the next 6 month to travel around and see this beautiful country. I am friendly, open minded and I help whenever I can. Unfortunatelly I am a really bad cook, but I want to learn it ^^ I love hanging out and meet new people, drinking coffee or sit on the beach and talk, sounds perfect to me. I just want to have a really good time here :)
I'm Deanne a 22-year-old student. Currently I live between the city (to go to school) and the country, however, my crazy lifestyle makes it hard to find a job and so I'm having to relocate. I'm a tidy and easy going person. I go to school three days a week, the other days I plan on working and catching up with friends scattered across Melbourne.
My name is Kassandra and I'm here on a WHV working fulltime hours from Canada. By nature I am a very friendly and open minded person. I am very respectful of others individuality, personal space, belongings as well as tidy. I love to come home from work and read or watch Netflix and wouldn't mind if I had company while doing so or not. I'm generally a very easy going person. Also, If you like to cook together that would be awesome. Look forward to meeting my new housemates. Wherever and whoever you are :)
I’m a clean, tidy, sociable person who is looking for like minded housemates ☺️. I work full time in the city, pretty chilled during the week mainly cooking, films and yoga. At weekends I enjoy seeing friends and a glass of wine.
