Hi potential roommate ! I am Ben, I am a French engineering student coming to Melbourne for a 6 months internship in Machine Learning starting from January. I am really enthusiastic, easy going and sociable ! I like to have fun with my friends, and never say no to a cold beer ! I like sports, I play tennis, rugby, and soccer. I also do a bit of boxing and have been riding horses since I am a 6yo boy but I don't know if this really interests anybody ! Finally one of my main hobbies is music producing. As I have been playing piano for 12 years, I am now a beatmaker for some friends of mine who rap. Don't worry I will put my headphones on whenever I will be "cooking some beats" ;) About the house holding, I have already lived a year in a shared apartment so I know the basic rules. Moreover I am by nature pretty clean with my stuff so I will easily clean up after me. I really like to cook and I have some French recipes you will die for. The only obsession I have is that nobody will EVER be in charge of the Sunday scrambled eggs which, I admit, I cook particularly well thanks to my mom's recipe. I am looking for some nice friends to discover Melbourne with, and ready to show me this wonderful city ! Feel free to ask me any question, I will be glad to answer them ! I hope you'll pick the little Frenchie ;)
I am a 31 year old Sydney born UI Designer moved to Melbourne and looking for housemates! I'm well accustomed to living independently. A bed, my computer desk and speakers are the only things coming with me. My job is stable and I'm looking for something moderately short term (3-6 months). I work standard hours usually in Melbourne CBD, and occasionally from home. I am a reliable, well mannered and respectable guy. I verge on the OCD side of cleanliness for my own space, but can be more tolerant when it comes to shared spaces if needed. I love pets but don't have any of my own. If you like chilling out to music in the evenings we'll get along swimmingly. If I'm not socialising, I'm usually reading or weight lifting. Ideally I would move sometime in February.
We are both Irish and working full time. I’m a beauty therapist ruairi is a carpenter. We are fun friendly people love to socialize on the weekend but like to chill and watch movies during the week. We love to go out for dinner, go to the gym and do some activities when we can.. we like are own space and respect others also. We are clean and tidy couple very easy to live with we have house shared before.
I work full time Mon-Fri sometimes long hours. I am relocating from Sydney to Melbourne, I'm Australian, 32 years old. I'm into a healthy lifestyle so am not a party person. In my free time I'm out and about a lot. I like to workout - swimming, oz tag, yoga, MMA, triathlons, parkrun. I love the beach, coffee and catching up with friends. When at home I would generally be sleeping or relaxing so not much noise. I would not be cooking daily as I'm not home for many meals but may occasionally make something light (think eggs/bacon/toast lol) or I may do meal prep on a Sunday. I'm a positive/happy person and pretty easy to get along with. I'm social but also like "me" time in healthy balance. I do require fairly reliable internet as I on occasion need to login to work after hours etc. Want to know anything else? Just ask :-)
Hi There, Originally from New Zealand, I have been living in Melbourne for the past 9 years. I work full time as a business development manager so I am out all day during the week. On the weekends I like to chill out, catch up with friends, play sport, watch a TV show or movie. I like a clean and tidy place to come home to and am great at cleaning up after myself and pitching in with chores around the house. I love getting out in to the yard and doing things like the lawns so if I find a place with a yard and some grass that is a bonus! Im usually up and out the door to head to the gym in the mornings which means I dont need access to the bathroom during the weekdays in the mornings. Perfect for shared bathrooms as you dont have to worry about the morning scheduling. Im a really chilled out, easy going guy who is easy to get along with. Im not into big parties however I do like a nice cold beer or a glass of red wine and happy to have a chat. Equally I am considerate to others in the household and respect peoples space.
Hi potential housemates! :) I'm on the hunt for a room in Kew, Ivanhoe, Fairfield, Heidelberg, Alphington or Fairfield areas from mid January. My housemates are moving on to bigger and better things and unfortunately I need to find a new place to live! A bit about me: i'm a social worker, I work full time, part-time maker and crafter, and a friendly person. I come with a rabbit called Isabelle who enjoys pats. She lives in a secure cupboard-like hutch indoors in the lounge in my current house. On the weekends I tend to be in and out of the house, but I love to have a couple of drinks from time to time. I consider myself to be a considerate person to live with, I know how to clean up after myself and respect others time alone, however i'd love to find some housemates who would like to hang out from time to time. I'm hoping to find some people who'd like to set up a comfortable home together. I can contribute some couches, a microwave, and a dining table if necessary, however if you have these things already no worries. Send me a message if I sound like a good fit for you!
Another Brit in Aus on a Working Holiday. Clean, responsible, keep to myself (but equally happy to have a natter), and not much of a party goer. I work full time in Finance, but will be heading off to do some farmwork for my 2nd year visa in March, so only looking for around 6 weeks accommodation.
Hi, I'm Jess! In 2019 I'll be undertaking my 6 month radiography internship and finishing up my degree. I've lived in shared accommodation for the past 4 years and am very considerate of the people around me. I like to keep things happy and pressure-free. A home should be the place you can feel free to be yourself and not feel like you have to walk on eggshells! I love coming home to a relaxed, friendly environment, so I'm looking for warmth, support and respect from potential housemates. I'm open-minded and trustworthy, and I love having a chat if I bump into someone around the house. I do however enjoy my own company and am typically very quiet and not a partygoer. I love my music - I play piano and will use it to de-stress. I also enjoy a good TV series as much as the next person and will get stuck into a good book when I have the time. If you have pets, I'm in! 😂 I love animals so pets wouldn't be a problem. I like to keep things clean and tidy, so I'm looking for a house that fits this bill. I am flexible in terms of furnishings for my own room. Ideally, an all-female house is what I'm looking for, but I would be open to a mixed household for the right place 😊
*I am looking for a potential housemate to meet up and find an apartment to lease, or someone in a 2 bed apartment looking for a flatmate. I preferably want to live with only one other person* I will be studying Occupational Therapy full time at Monash, starting 2019. I have just finished working full time for Sullivan Nicholaides Pathology in a STAT Lab in Brisbane for 20 months. In mid Jan, I plan to make the drive down to Melbourne, leaving myself enough time to prepare for the semester and settle in. I am originally from Sunshine Beach, Noosa and have lived in Brisbane for 2 years. In my spare time I love drinking coffee, playing piano, going to gym, or out for dinner, going for walks, occasionally making the walk to Messina. During footy season I will spend most of my weekend attending or watching matches on tv. I am a bubbly person and semi reserved housemate who likes to have time to myself to relax and unwind, although I won't mind a friendly conversation. In a potential housemate I am looking for someone with similar interests, who also likes time to themselves, with a sprinkle of socialising and joking around. I am clean and responsible around the home, and don't like mess accumulating in common areas. I hope to find someone with the same attitude. :)
Hi, I’m Jenny! 22 year old currently studying Design at RMIT, originally from Sydney. Currently living alone (can provide references from my agent) but I prefer the social atmosphere that a sharehouse provides. I would describe myself as friendly, considerate and definitely not a party animal. I am responsible when it comes to both paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. Quite independent but looking for housemates that can become potential friends, who I can occasionally share meals/drinks/banter with, and watch movies/shows together. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, working on side projects, reading and exploring Melbourne. Hit me up if you think you/your place would be a good match! :)
Hi! I'm a 26 year old female looking to move from Albury to Melbourne around the 9th Feb. I have 2 super friendly and house trained border collies who would be coming with me. I don't know many people in Melbourne, so would love to find housemates that want to be friends as well (but I totally get the need for alone time, I don't expect to hang out all the time!) I enjoy cooking, a good Netflix binge and the odd drink. I do have some furniture, but not everything. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! 😊
I'm 24 years old guy from Lithuania, East Europe. This is my second year in Melbourne. Studying Fitness. I'm friendly and funny guy. Very easy to communicate with me no matter what. Flexible. Clean (not a clean freak). I may look like a serious guy, but when you get to know me, you'll be surprised. I'm working as a bartender in restaurant Santoni, Hawthorn. It would be REALLY nice to live with people who are 20-30y/o, active and social to do something together. Also i respect other people privacy! Everyone needs some chill time in their own room.
I'm moving to Melbourne from New Zealand in mid February and looking for people to live with. I'm a very relaxed, social person. I exercise regularly and like going on hikes/missions on a nice day. I enjoy cooking and I'm pretty flexible when it comes to meat vs vegetarian meals...whatever goes. Love a good dance and a few beers but am also pretty contempt lazying in front of the couch watching movies on a Sat night. Looking to live with like-minded individuals who aren't messy but at the same time not going to freak out about a speck of dust moving through the room. Feel free to send me a message. Cheers
Hey, I'm an easy going guy who grew up in the coastal town of Warrnambool. I like to surf, skate, snowboard and go camping when I can. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday for an essential services company. I am very considerate towards anyone I live with, trying my best to treat others with kindness and respect, hopefully receiving the same in return. I have a lovely partner Sierra who I would hope could stay with me on occasion also :) I’m good to live with because I can communicate openly and honestly, clean up after myself and recognise when others want someone to talk to, or when they need their own space.
I'm an Irish male moving to Melbourne in January 2019 looking for somewhere to live. I work in Recruitment, and have a job lined up in the CBD starting in February. In my spare time I hang out with friends, go to the gym, and plan to explore areas around the City and beyond. I'm also big into sports & music, and play the guitar (quietly!!) I'm looking to live within an easy commute to the City Centre, with laid back & friendly people. Dogs are a big plus!
Hi I am an easy going and fun person who care about where I live. I am so clean, responsible and cooperative with house maintenance and peaceful environment. I am also on time with my financial commitments. About me, I am an emergency nurse working at two different hospitals. I also study medicine in a private medical school. So I would mostly be busy with work and study but will be accommodating some social life and quality time with my housemates.
I’m neat, tidy and very respectful of people’s personal space. However I’m very easy to get along with and love a laugh. I’ve been living in sharehouses since I was 18 so know exactly makes a good housemate.
