I sing, write songs and perform at open mic nights, am finishing my last year in fine art at Rmit in the city, waitress, and host sound Healing meditations by the beach in St Kilda West. Hi! My name's Brooke, and I'm an 20 year old library technician from south-east Melbourne. I'm studying to become a librarian while working in a library five days a week. Currently I am living in rural south east Melbourne, and I am wanting to move closer to both work and to Melbourne's nightlife. I am looking for a private room in either the inner southern/eastern/northern Melbourne suburbs, particularly St Kilda, or on the Pakenham train line. Great public transport links are essential. I am in no hurry to move, so the move in date is flexible. I am not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere clean and affordable to call home. If the house and flat mates were a good fit I'd be open to renting long term. A social house would be great so I can make some new friends around my new home, and I'd like to get to know the people I am living with. I don't want to live in a party house, but I'd love to live in the sort of house where we can hang out together over a pint. Ideally I'd be living with other people in their twenties, but I'm not an age snob. I have lived in a share house previously, so I appreciate the importance of communication and respect in making sure we all enjoy living together. I also like to think I'm a friendly, respectful, clean and easy going person. And most importantly... I love cleaning rosters!! I've always been punctual and reliable with rent and bills. More than happy to provide proof of income and financial position to assure you I am able to pay consistently. Monday-Friday are spent working and studying, so I'd be pretty quiet during the week. By the weekend I am your typical 20 year old; I love heading out to the pub or to a gig with friends. That being said, I respect if my potential flat mates want a quiet home. I love music and I can be found listening to Oasis literally most of the time. Quite shy at first, but I am outgoing once I've gotten to know people. Please send me a message if you think I'd be a good fit in your house! Cheers!
I came to Melbourne with a Work & Holiday visa, I kept my chilean job as business analyst as a freelancer type job to finance part of the plan. I love to travel, netflix, photography, neumarketing and many other subjects. I pretend to find a job as real estate photographer, warehouse administrator or similar so I will be most of the time out of the apartment. If you have any question don´t hesitate to ask!
Hello there. I am seeking a home to share with community minded, creative beings who are interested in co-creating a peaceful, harmonious, easy-going, tidy, respectful, loving and nurturing space together. I am currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and as well completing my Kundalini Yoga training program. My hobbies and interests are in : spirituality, philosophy, healing, well-being (meditation, yoga, nutrition, kirtan, natural therapies, etc..), conscious dance, sacred music, films, art, reading, being in nature, eating out, travel, singing and pretty much any workshop or book on self-development that allows me to learn more about myself, others and improve who I am as a person. I am honest, mature and respectful of others space, and also seeking the same from others. I am also drug and alcohol free, and would prefer a home of open, authentic, conscious connections and communication with one another. I am not fussed about living with others who enjoy a wine over a meal, but definitely not interested in a party house. I am interested in a quiet space where I can study, as well as, re-charge and unwind. I would enjoy a conversation, meal or outing with fun-loving housemates every so often. As well as a tidy space, where we all contribute in keeping the environment clean and tidy for all. A home near public transport services is a necessity, preferably train and tram services. An unfurnished room and additional storage space would be ideal. I am vegan and would prefer a vegan and/or vegetarian household. I have lived with meat-eaters before though that are respectful and understanding. I also volunteer in assisting with and marketing events within the conscious Melbourne community, as well as activism for the welfare and rights of animals. I am more than happy to live with cats, and the more the merrier :)
Hi Guys I'm Chris (30) currently living at Southbank. I'm a neat & respectful professional (lawyer). Generally reserved when meeting people for the first time but open up upon getting to know somebody. I've shared many times before. Most nights I enjoy Netflix and light socializing but often retire back to my room to get some space. Really keen on getting into the city lifestyle. I've got a car, so need somewhere close to park on/off street. I have 3 loves in my life - travel, the NBA and Jeopardy.
Hi, My name is Ariane and I’m 34yo, currently working in International Policy Monday to Friday. I’m a positive, enthusiastic person, always up for a good chat and laugh. I like to be friends with my housemates, share a dinner, a wine or beer, get to know them and what‘s going on in their lives. Not really into the whole hiding in your room. Of course I also appreciate my own time, not to mention respect others needs for it also. I'm tidy, considerate and enjoy a clean kitchen and bathroom and always contribute to household up-keep. I love cooking and I love wine and especially combining the two! I love going to gigs, hanging out with mates, having a good dance and anything out in the sun basically. Pretty much the same as any other human being really. I also come with some lovely potted indoor plants that all have names. I love trying new things and I like keeping generally very busy, until I don’t feel like being busy and my bed looks very comfy. Looking forward to hearing from you. Ariane
Kiwiasian. New Zealand breed Asian. So I get mocked for saying bro and "fush" when I make it with my rice. Working full time in construction management and train Muay Thai and BJJ after work. I am all about good banter regarding travel, business, design, architecture, property, entrepreneurship and mixed martial arts. Looking for cool flatmates that are interested in snow trips, surf trips or any sort of outdoor adventures. Or just chilling and sipping on gin and tonics with a book and learning from different interests and hear about different stories and experiences
Hey! I'm looking for a place long term and looking to move within the next two months. More about me: I'm currently at the University of Melbourne studying History. I work at the university casually too. I'm busy throughout the week so I'll be in and out of the house quite often. I'm sociable but chill and love a good chat about anything really. Things I like: I love frequenting the cinema and going to gigs. Other: I'm reliable and can pay rent/bills on time.
Hi All, Just moved to Melbs from Syd where I've been living the last year after I moved home from a 6 year stint in Copenhagen. I work in marketing, branding and strategic comms across fashion, design, art and education. I’m pretty out-going, social, like a chat, a wine with mates, etc. V respectful, esp about cleaning up and noise levels at 3am. I like going out, but also value sleep, and a clean, happy and healthy living environment. Generally a responsible adult (aka pay bills on time and keep house clean and tidy), but still young at heart and not 100% serious and settled down - yet 😉 I’m into all things art (have been to VGV Triennel 3 times already ;)) live music, love a good festival (off to Pitch this w/e), cooking (massive passion and will gladly cook housie meals anytime), reading and learning new things, wine, hunting for good vintage furniture and clothes whenever I get the chance and many other things. I’ve got a bunch of friends down here, and a pretty extended social network, but I’m looking to move into a house with people I don’t know, so I can get to know more people and build a bit of my own life. I’m out and about a lot, but like to idea of sharing meals, a drink at the pub etc with my housemates. Ideally I’d love to move in with people that if I have a friend over for dins, if my housies are around, it feels natural and easy for them to join in and vice versa. I like the idea of community and having a place to come home to where I can both hangout and interact, but also get space to relax and rejuvenate. If this sounds like a fit, let me know and I can come and meet you all / check out the room whenever suits!
Hey people! We are an overseas couple looking for a private room for us to move asap. We are really easy going, clean, quiet and respectful. Always keen to do plans with our housemates. About us: - Laia: 27 years old, from Barcelona, with work and holiday visa so working full time. - Abdullah: 28 years old, from Abudhabi and studying. We would like to have our private room with own bathroom if that is possible. Happy to hear from you.
I work in architecture full time in the CBD. I’m currently living in Windsor in a 1 bed apartment but looking to move in with others before depressing winter kicks in. Interested in teaming up or moving into an existing sharehouse. I’m a clean, organised, honest, reliable guy that respects other peoples privacy. I can get along with all age groups and If I am able to have a good social environment with my new flatmates then that would be awesome. Still being newish to Melbourne means new flatmates may become new friends. I like my outdoor activities and sometimes like to get away on weekends, so the only requirement I have is for an offstreet carspace for my vehicle as usually take public transport to work. Ideally a garage space. Get in contact if you think we would be suited. My current lease ends towards end of April. I do have some furniture and a fridge.
Hello! I am a Canadian living in Melbourne looking for a place to stay for 3-4 months as I work at a restaurant during my WHV here. I am a tidy and well kept person who cleans up after themselves. I love music and am often listening to something or reading a book! I play soccer, tennis, and skateboard. I love to cook and enjoy cleaning(I think it's relaxing). I've worked in hospitality for the majority of my career and plan on finding a job in a hotel/bar/restaurant(show me your fav spots!). I love eating out and I do enjoy a good glass of wine or pint of beer or 2 or 3 haha. Hit me up if you're looking for a housemate that is chill, reliable, and overall a pretty alright dude! Cheers!
25. Working full time. Looking for a private room. Don’t mind a private bathroom or shared. I require a parking spot for my car or off street parking. I enjoy cooking some nights after work and stay pretty low key during the week. On weekends I’ll hang with friends or go visit my parents. Not a party person. I enjoy exercising. Watching movies.
Hi I'm Kim! I'm from Chicago and will be living in Melbourne for (up to) a year on my working holiday visa. I'm quiet, friendly, and organized. I consider myself an introvert, so I need some down time to myself—though I do like the option of having company around, as I grew up with a lot of siblings and had roommates in college! I like hanging out with friends, having a drink, watching tv/movies, listening to music, and having a good laugh. Super excited for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. I'm very neat—I always clean up after myself and find washing my dishes and laundry to be relaxing. I'm taking my time finding a job here and hope to find a few freelance writing gigs along the way. I'm also planning on enrolling in some casual/part-time courses once I get settled. I'd prefer an all-female flat and I'd love to build friendships out of my flatmateship!
I'm a software engineer work in Melbourne CBD. I'm a very clean and neat person to live with and I'm not the kind of person that brings over heaps of people all the time or makes a lot of noises. Also, I'm very easy going and I love to have a chat with my housemates over a drink or dinner after work sometime. Besides, I enjoy going out with my friends, watching movies and animation. I'd be able to move in the end of April. Feel free to contact me if you wanna team up.

Hi, I'm Eddie. Chinese, born in Melbourne, can't speak Chinese to save my life. I'm a freelance camera assistant and I work on movies and commercials. I have my work-life balance totally sorted out so I'm always chill, organised, and always ready to do something interesting. I love travelling, movies, board games, going out, meeting new people, chatting about nothing and learning new things (such as bass guitar). I'm currently aiming to be fluent at Japanese by the end of the year so I've been recently going out to language exchanges as much as possible and planning on going back to lessons soon. I'm a neat and tidy person, not adverse to cleaning up after others either. I've been renting for 4 years with no issues. Thanks!
I'm 27 and I've just moved back to Australia after working and living in London for 2 years. I've been working for flight centre as a travel consultant for the last 4 years in Geelong and London. Im very laid back and easy going, but I always clean up after myself and chip in around the house as expected when sharing. When I'm not at work or away travelling, I enjoy playing basketball, going out for drinks, bingeing the odd tv series and keeping fit. I'm starting a new job with student flights Melbourne Uni in April and I'm looking for a place within 30 minutes of the shop. I'd like to live with other easy going people who enjoy being social and are capable of doing things independently as well.
Friendly, easy going Italian guy, permanently settled here in Melbourne. I am seeking for an accommodation as I am ready to move in asap. I am a full time worker and business owner, working in hospitality, which keeps me busy 5 days out of 7 (no late night shifts, mostly from 2pm to 10pm) , but in my free time I enjoy chilling out, watching tv, play sports and keep myself active as well as having a good chat over a good meal or a glass of wine.
